A brilliant experience of relishing some of the veg items in the hotel. What I liked is their ambiance.
The items were hot and were fresh.
Mix of masala was just correct.
Place is easily accessible and has enough parking facility available.
Attached are the veg items which I had today which includes gobi 65, Butter Naan, Uthappam, Sambar, Malai Kofta, Veg Kofta Curry, Gulab Jamun & Ice Cream. All of them were cooked to perfection.
As a foodie who has eaten in 100+ restaurants, I can say this one stands out and is completely justified for the price :)
The service given by the serving people were too good and obedient. The Menu was simply good. The starters had separate soups for Veg and Non-Veg accompanied by 4 variety of salads. There were equal number of dishes in main course for both Veg and Non-Veg. At the end we the desserts were good, while we got 2 different flavors of ice cream.
Everyone liked the taste and that too at a cheaper rate. No one complaint about the tastes as it is really good. Had a good time on dining at this restaurant at cheaper rate. We also got a surprising offer on bill as we are of 15 people. Really enjoyed with the food over there at a cheaper rate.

After a boring movie, we were on a look out to eat something that would compensate the bad movie experience. Found this restaruant and it did compensate the bad movie experience! :) The place was well lit with an astonishing ambience.
Food was so delicious that we took an oath to return again. The pricing overall was very nominal and cheaper than most of its other counterparts
Keeping aside everything I am wondered about the restaruant's hospitality. The chefs were very caring about the taste of the food they prepared and asked us if it tasted good. Waiters are friendly and then went to an extent to apologize to us when the food we ordered took just fifteen to twenty Minutes to come.
So as a foodie I would give 4/5 for this restaruant in terms of ambience, taste and price. Also I would rate 5/5 for their hospitality
It's a woundrful place to hangout wit family, it's been so calm place to have food.. very nice to be with family and frds. Service are very good also it's very near by place so that can people can meet up often

I was looking for some good place to have breakfast buffet, came to about this place, somewhat traveling distance to me, also pricing is attractive therefore went for it. This place is easy to locate. It is in the left of Kodambakkam bridge once you get down while heading towards Valluvarkottam. You can see hoarding of hotel. It is the restaurant of Hotel Pratap.
Have space to park vehicles so no need to worry about parking. Ambiance of restaurant is normal. Have decent seating capacity. The buffet content is excellent. One can go for it just for the content and price. Service is good. They are courteous and attentive. Just filling of completed items need to be speeded up.
Buffet consist of 2 cut fruits, 1 sprouts, 2 fresh juice, 1 milkshake, bread with spreads, muffins, crossaint, idly, Parotta, kurma, 2 Chutney, sambar, podi, boiled egg, semiya upma, medhu Vadai, ragi Kool, Vegetable sandwich, cornflakes with hot and cold milk and live dosa counter which serves hot dosai, masala dosai, podi dosai, onion uthappam, omlet etc.
Tried sandwich, onion uthappam, podi dosai, upma, Vadai, Parotta, idly, watermelon juice and butterscotch milkshake. Everything is good except Parotta. It is very thick and hard. Even Vadai can be softer. All the side dish viz. sambar, chutney and kurma are good. Both juice and milkshake is tasty.
Price is cheap. Just Rs.150/- for these many range of items is worth every penny. Value for money. Worth visiting.
Excellent taste, the service of the staff was too good and a very good choice of menu. The breakfast spread is wide, with a minimal cost of rupees 150 only. Quality food at minimal rate.
First of all I should thank Mr Mahesh for introducing me to Pratap Plaza. If not for him I would not have known this place. I visit the bar frequently cause we enjoy the hospitality. Your restaurant chennai 24 (hope I have the name right) is amazing. Food is very palatable. Only drawback is we don't get drinks served. I think it's permissible by rule so please try to introduce. i felt homely.then had vegetables and egg mixed salad which was different and was tasty ,they added boiled potato,fried ladies finger,fried aubergine which was beautifully diced into cubes and then scrambled egg mixed with white sauce,must try salad very tasty.then had crispy fried vegetables which was good.indian breads nan and roti only my husband had and he told that was mediocre and not upto the mark

As it is a tiring weekend i have decided to have a lunch buffet so went with my husband,saw this place through zomato and i want to give it a try.firstly there is no spacious car parking.Then went inside the restaurant ambience is so congested tables and chairs were arranged closer and there is no gap.no cozy feel.Now coming to the food there were 4 non vegetarian and 8 vegeterian dishes.soup was served on the table,no complaints i felt homely.then had vegetables and egg mixed salad which was different and was tasty ,they added boiled potato,fried ladies finger,fried aubergine which was beautifully diced into cubes and then scrambled egg mixed with white sauce,must try salad very tasty.then had crispy fried vegetables which was good.indian breads nan and roti only my husband had and he told that was mediocre and not upto the mark.usually i avoid consuming nan and rotis becoz most of the hotels prepares former said breads hardly which is very difficult to chew...then had corn pulao amazing with vegetable curry was delicious.chicken 65 was very tasty and chicken was perfectly cooked garnished with fried curry leaves.mutton biryani was really good,after many days i am tasting a good biryani..delicious..then had white rice with dhal tadka again no complaints was good.then there were rasam,curd rice,pickle,olan think kerala dish and two more salads which my hubby tasted and told it was good.coming to desserts there were 5,gulab jamun bigger in size and very delicious,mysore pak,finger licking,two ice creams one vanila and other one is strawberry flavour which was fresh and tasty and then paruppu payasam like akar adisal very delicious.service was quick and quickly they refilled the dishes.hygenic part they need to look into it.one of the good buffet for just 299 rs only which is very nominal and pocket friendly.really worthy and a place to satisfy your hunger pangs and best place for friends and office treats.keep up the good work.......

The buffet price is 274 nett/.. This is the first amazing thing which caught my eyes. I called them to know the items they serve. Surprised when I heard two starters (gopi Manchurian and fish 65), 2 soups (1 veg and 1 chicken), 3 veg salads, 1 non veg salad, chicken biriyani, mutton gravy, dal, paneer, veg pulav, white rice, curd rice, pickle, papad, rasam, kadai veg, and Indian breads( I think i missed two more veg items. Couldn't remember them). In desserts you get gulab jamun, cut fruits, halwa/peda, payasam and ice cream ( PS ice cream not on buffet table, table served in unlimited quantity - vanilla and strawberry flavors available.
The starters are tasty esp the fish starter. Panner is fresh and excellent. Mutton gravy and chicken biriyani justifies and the Desserts are decent.
It is not a rich buffet but an enjoyable one if you are planning for a low budget dining.

It's rare to get a non veg buffet for just 400 in Chennai.. Though they served limited dishes, the taste was really awesome.. But on that day I couldn't eat much, again if I get a chance I'll dine there. Ambience is good... Liked very much..

ABSOLUTE VFM - If that is what is you are looking for , then you dont need to look further. That said , the chicken starter, mutton curry and chicken biriyani were great. The soups, salads, veg currys and desserts were good and gave no room for complaints . Special mention about the efficient and courteous service. Thanks to the chennai-24 team for the enjoyable dinner with my family.
This is a nice place if you really wan eat heavy with no expectations on superb taste.You can definitely go to the place for the Mutton Items and Chicken 65.The biriyani,soups and icecream are very normal.Again, Desserts are very good.Your money is definitely worth and you can have a good time with your friends and family.And their service is very good.I have been here 5 or 6 times but never I was disappointed.

Chennai 24 is a VFM restaurant witha decent spread at a highly affordable price.Ambience is overall decent but a bit cramped.Tables are small and placed very close to each other. Food is decent. 2 starters(1 veg,1 nonveg both on the buffet) very good. Soup disastrous.showstealers-mutton gravy, chicken 65, kadai paneer.deserts nothing much to talk of.only two and that too no icecream.service was gud even though crowded. On the whole gud for low budget large sized treats/low cost dinners.

Although I have been living around this place for eons, I was always sceptical. Just for no real reason, perhaps no first hand experience! All that changed when we visited as a family.
The staff is very eager to please. The buffet has some notably good dishes like the mutton biriyani( this alone may be worth the already inexpensive buffet price), hot jelabi, ice cream, soups and some south indian dishes. Definitely the food is of good quality, which I would anyday prefer over quantity or spread. Will recommend!
Good food. The chef's specials are good, especially the hyderabadi lamb combo. Had it with Prawns biryani. Decent quantity. Friendly staff. Good place for outing with freinds and family.
One of the fine hotels which provides us with 24 hours food. Food is good as well. They deliver through swiggy and zomato as well.

After corona they are providing the buffet with condition pre booking and minimum head count is 10+
For office party or team lunch i suggest this place and if u r taking rooms then u have more fecility.

One of the best place for buffet lunch the room is small for 30 people you won't find good ambience but the food taste is top notch and next thing is the menu for non veg is minimal but again it's worth 11/10 in terms of food taste.
