I was so excited to taste the iconic black ice cream available here and trust me it didn’t let me down. This would be a great place to try For people who are seeking something new. Apart from black ice cream I tried red velvet fries which didnt reach my expectation.

Ice craft is one of the most unique introduction of charcoal cones and got more exciting varieties of dessert ,waffles and sandwiches to carve.
Prime location and good ice cream outlet in GN chetty road. They have lawn with outdoor and space in the upstairs for seating.
Ambience is good and lighten ones mood.
A perfect place for dessert after a dinner or lunch.
Black charcoal cone hardly had no flavour to it but their shaked was extremely good.

The place is really very good. Arrangement are good too. The roll ice creams are the best here but little bit expensive. But overall it was little above average.
I know I’m a little late to try the charcoal icecream. But better late than never. Totally loved the Triple threat icecream on a black Cone. It’s pretty huge for 235₹. I had went alone and had to finish it somehow. Didn’t have the Heart to waste ;) So yummy.
To equalise sweetness I ordered crinkly cut fries. Thick and spiced up with paprika, they were good.
Black ice cream never heard before until I saw it here......made with activated charcoal which I have always heard added in creams......first time hearing it in food category.......totally new variant in the city.......though it’s color is black doesn’t let down the flavor taste we choose....it’s was nice and different being it tried for first time.........

When people in Chennai say "IceKraft", the one thing that comes to mind is "Black Triple Threat Ice cream" which in other words is Charcoal Ice cream.
They have outdoor seating as well as indoor seating which is on the first floor.
I personally would recommend sitting outside if you are there in the evenings.
Blue everywhere just made me think that the ambience is perfect for an ice cream. Staffs were courteous. Had a word with the person who manages the store. Got to know about the brand and the concept of Charcoal ice cream.
The Triple threat ice cream cone just tasted like any other ice cream would do. I heard that it contains activated charcoal and is made of natural ingredients. I thought that it would taste weird but it was delicious. The concept is new and I liked it. A black cone and black ice cream in it which tastes exactly like any other ice cream would do is something new. Hoping to find some more interesting new concepts in the restaurants in Chennai apart from ice cream parlours.
The place looks okay. Great parking space and a decent outdoor setup. "Absolute Berry" is great to start with and cost is okay as they claim most of their items are sugar free.
I got to hear constantly about this place from my friends in the recent days! But I just coincidentally dropped here and tried the famous charcoal ice-cream, milkshake, red velvet waffle and some fries! I genuinely liked each and evrythng that i ordered and it's still so damn tempting! Fried ice cream is in due though! 😂 A place where I would really like to get back again!❤

Very nice place. Charcoal icecream is new in chennai and it tastes good too. Its worth the money and the place is situated beside Courtallam border rahmath hotel in T.nagar
Went on Sunday with friends to hangout! It's a small shop but it has really cool ambiance...the staff were very polite and it has a lawn with chairs outdoor!
Coming to food..we ordered absolute chocolate freakshake , Krafting - vanilla base with hot chocolate fudge sause and rainbow and chocochips toppings...and yummy cheese paparikka french fries (I loved it)
Taste was okay! I think the sweetness of ice-cream was less...they can improve it.price was kk.
But it's a nice place to visit overall..

After the much hype about charcoal based ice creams, visited this spot. The ambience is great. They have both outdoor and indoor areas.Though the size of it is small, it's pretty decent and neat. Indoor seating area has some gaming items on the shelf which we can pick up and play. It's a great timepass until the food arrives.

▪Artisan kraft (chocolate base + hot chocolate fudge + 3 toppings-chocochips, butterscotch, choco stick) - this one completely customized. They have awesome combinations to try out.
▪Red Velvet waffle with whipped cream and maple syrup (guess so) - this one was a show stopper. Waffle was to the point. Red velvet flavour was just perfect.
▪crinkle cut fries (herbed) - this one was good too. The dipping which comes along with it was awesome!
▪Black Chocolate Monster freakshake - this was supposed to be a signature dish but it dint strike us any better. Not a great fan of this.

We had Premium Kraft and Charcoal Ice cream. We chose Vanilla as the base, Strawberry Sauce, Candied Nuts, Jujubes and Caramelized Popcorn. But I didn't get Caramelized Popcorn. And The Charcoal ice cream was very average one. Good Service and Nice Ambience.

A different place to hangout with friends which has specially curated ice creams which are unique.
Absolute Chocolate was true to its name. The chocolate taste and the chocolate chips with Oreo was predominant. It had the perfect balance between sweetness and chocolate taste. Cookies and Cream is always a classic and I surely recommend to try this. Absolute berry had a sour sauce and it was nothing when compared to the other two.
Though this place is famous for the carbon ice cream, it’s not worth the hype. It doesn’t have any flavour on its own and not worthy.
The place has an outdoor seating with chairs on a lawn which will please your eyes during the evenings.
If you love fries, over the top milkshakes and ice cream...do check this place out ! They also have board and card games to keep you occupied while you wait for your order to arrive.
The best place!! I loved the taste !! I had Nutella milkshake and black cone stuff ! (Not sure about the names of it ) . Both of them were awesome !! The taste was new to me and the ambience is also too good. Must try!! 🤩

This Place is located right opposite to hotel virudunagar .
Ambience - The seating here is both outdoor and indoor . Outdoor area has faux grass with few table chair seating.the best thing about icekraft is it has i❤️icekraft in the entrance.
Indoor space has live counter where we can see how the ice cream is made . Interior is simple yet elegant with white and blue furniture, with pastel grey walls.
Wanted to try churros but they dint have that .
Service - service was not that great.The person who was serving us was very confused about everything. He dint have idea about anything what we were asking him.

One of the best ice cream experiences I've ever had. Thanks to Roy, the manager at the outlet. Loved his way of dealing with the customers and his improvisations in the ice cream! Loved the charcoal ice cream, it has become my favourite rn. I hope this outlet of IceKraft stays the same or becomes better in the upcoming season!
After so much of failed plans, finally hit this place today..!! A treat for ice cream lovers..!! Though the place isnt much spacious, they have outdoor seating as well. Tried the unique Black triple treat ice cream. Slightly overpriced, but u must try it..! But the last bites were off putting. Also tried the Cream and cookie which didn't fail to impress us..!!
Inspite of being rush hour, the hospitality was great and service was fast and good.

Great place for a quick desert after dinner. The guy at the counter Roy was very helpful and assisted in choosing their best dessert . One should definitely try the Brownie Fries.
Myself and my friend decided to visit this place after a lot of speculation about the charcoal ice cream trending at chennai.The whereabouts of this place is at the hot of Tnagar opposite to the famous Murugan idly shop which can be easily located.
Ambience :The shop is well decorated with blue and white shades and with lots of quotes about ice cream and pancakes.They also have a lot of board games at a corner for attracting a group of friends to play and have fun while the stay.
Taste :We tried the monster freak shake and rolled chocolate ice-cream.They didn’t disappoint us.The rolled chocolate ice-cream tasted so good and the monster shake was so appetizing.Both together costed Rs480 and I would stay it was worth the money.
Service :Excellent service by the Icekraft team.We were pleased by their hospitality.

Had the premium craft that comes with chocolate base, with hot chocolate fudge as the sauce, chocolate chips, cookjes and brownies as the topping. The ice cream was great, it tasted good, it was prepared freshly.
Really Good ambience. Both indoor, top floor and outdoor environment was great. The range of menu was exquisite. The price was really good for everything except the freak shake which I felt it was so over priced. The fries tasted really yummy even their rotato. The seasoning they used was different which enhanced the taste of it.
We had the monster shake .. triple chocolate I guess .. the color wasn’t too pleasing to eat as it wasn’t black it was some cementicious color but the taste was good

The icecreams are amazing here, although the food might not be the best in town. Hurricane fries I ordered tasted a bit burnt. But it was just one dish and I didn't have a chance to try the others.
This restaurant is definitely a 'try it out atleast once 'place. It was the concept and the setting that brought me in, the taste that kept me in and Roy's humbleness that will make me come again with Friends and Family.

It is a beg outlet with good ambience with seating on the top and outside seating. They have such unique desserts and savoury dishes too. What we had absolute chocolate charcoal waffle with charcoal ice cream rolls topped with Nutella and Chocochips. must try.

We went to this place as we were bored of "cream stone" and "oh so stoned" Great place to have ice cream at a very reasonable price. Friendly staff but the place is very small indoors. They do have outdoor seating which will not be comfortable during summer season. Hope they will do something about it.
One of the very few dessert places in T.Nagar. The location perfect and the appearance with the big logo outside works well. It is generally crowded during the evenings.
It was my first time experience for the Dark cone ice cream and I loved it. The dark waffle wasn't that great though. The ice creams are made into rolls and served in a cup. A decent outlet for Desserts at T.Nagar.

Icekraft is a cosy small ice cream parlour, easily spotted for its outdoor seating, Parking is illegal infront of the restaurant claims the traffic police, who are frequently found just few metres near the restaurant and often seen towing away the parked vehicles. This restaurant is becoming famous for its black coloured ice cream named carbon casablanca, which is served in 3 different flavours, I tried cholocolate flavour which was absolutely scrumptious, the waffles were so good though I'm not a big fan of chocolate ice cream, This dark frozen dessert was a treat to my taste buds. It's slightly pricey but it's absolutely worth it. Now, we have one more reason to visit Tnagar other than shopping.

Tacos Ice cream I didn't have the black cone ice cream because I was too attracted and curious to try three varieties of black ice cream. So these had Black, Red velvet and regular taco in which was the famous fantastic black ice cream and to make it cute and more presentable, it had sprinklers and milk chocolate. The tacos were too good. Got boomerang also with them.You must try this when you visit Icekraft. I suggest you to be greedy. Don't just have 1 ice cream cone. Have 3 tacos.Chocolate waffle with Ice creamWaffle Baked with choco-chips and nutella. Story doesn't end here, It also had chocolate sauce pouring with creamy absolute chocolate ice-cream on top. Sweet tooth lovers this is the place for you. We ordered their carbon icecream with cone, tiramisu and wedge fries. There was no complaints about their food. But the service and seating arrangements was not satisfied. There were huge amount of people dashing each other to order food(which was embarrassing). After getting our order we had to stand for a while to get a seat. We got our food within 15mins. Good place for sweet tooth. Need to improve their services and seating arrangements.

The hype for picturesque showy desserts will never die. So when you know that the black icecream you've seen on Instagram is here at Chennai, you just gotta check it out! Located a little further from Courtrallam border biryani, Icekraft is easy to spot with its bright blue sign.
As expected it was bustling with people and even though they had outdoor seating it did not suffice. We had the famous Black Triple Threat and cookies and cream. I had no high expectations and I simply wanted to see if it was just a looks can be deceiving kind of ice-cream. Well this was surprisingly awesome! I loved it to bits! Rich icecream rolls topped with lots and lots of chocolate chips and sauce it was amazing. The so called activated charcoal base didn't exactly have an obvious taste of its own, it was basically a very good chocolate icecream. After this, having any other icecream on the menu is a let down for sure because in comparison none are as yummy. We had the cookies and cream cup and it was no good and tasted like just eating tasteless cream. So the Black Triple Threat won the day.
Priced on the higher side but worth it. Slow service though.

Heard this newly opened Ice cream parlour through a friend and was in my wish list when I heard of the unique charcoal flavour ice cream and black cone... Happen to visit the ice cream parlour recently in T.nagar..First of all located on the main road which is easily accessible individual building with serving area in ground floor and first floor.. the interior are decent and the blue colour theme is eye catching.. On ordering our ice cream,I must say they have got a wide range of flavours and we went with Absolute Chocolate, Absolute Berry, Charcoal Casa Blanca and Charcoal Chocolate... We were served on time although the parlour was a little crowded and my whole family loved the ice creams they were too good, this is undoubtably have become the firm favourite of my children and myself...would recommend it to my friends a MUST MUST TRY...

This place created a hype even before its opening.. Having several successful outlets across Mumbai, hyderabad, etc.. Now Chennai too joins this list.. Stopped by this place for a quick bite.. Tasted some of thier signature dishes like charcoal Ice cream and hurricane potato wedges. I expected a lot but can't say I was disappointed...The dishes were quite mediocre and the ambience was okayish.. Great for hanging out on a lazy weekend.. Don't expect anything and you won't be disappointed

The service is good but a little slow. The fries that I had ordered was good, it was served with a dip (thousand island I'm guessing) which was real good!

This is quite a new concept in Chennai where u get charcoal ice cream . I went and asked the chef wat exactly do you use or you really use charcoal. The chef showed me a black paste which is actually made of charcoal and the taste is very bland the ice cream becomes good after mixing it with white and dark Nutella the ice cream is really tough does not melt so easily like the other ice cream does and the best part is it is not very sweet do try this place to come out of regular ice creams
