Excellent food quality with great taste
Best place with an ambient atmosphere
Tried tandoori chicken taste was very good and must try.The only thing they should improve their packaging.
nice family restaurant in town *** tandoori chicken ** friendly staff love this place guys most try this place
Hopped in at the last minute since we were late, mixed reactions.... We ordered food online several times so it was high time we dined here I guess! Ordered Tawa Paneer and Masala Mirch Koftas, Veg Biryani and Phulkas for dinner. Paneer was okish but expected softer and succulent ones. Mirch masala koftas tasted good but was a little hard inside by kofta standards. Phulkas get 5 stars - soft and just perfect. Would have been a 3.5 , my .5 goes for the service! For dessert it was rabdi and it was pretty good. It was late and busy with food so no pics, my apologies!!

One of the best Punjabi restaurants in Chennai. The ambience is nice, the staff are courteous and the food reaches you quick. Would definitely recommend the Lassi, the tandoori Chicken and the crispy chicken.
Liked the Punjabi Ambience and Taste in Chennai. The food tastes really yummy especially the Paneer Crunchy.

This is one of the best places to have Punjabi Cusinue. Happened to visit this place on a weekday lunch with colleagues.
We ordered the following for starters
Tandoori chicken
Tangdi Kabab
Afghani chicken
Paneer Aachari Tikka
All were very good esp. Afghani chicken and Tangdi Kabab meat was melting in the mouth.
We ordered assorted rotis and Classic Butter chicken, Dal Makhani and Panner Lababdar as Main Course
Main Course dishes were also very good.
The only con with the restaurant is the service which can be improved.

A beautiful place to try authentic north indian dishes
The chicken is cooked to perfection
Their sweet lassi is the star dish not too much sweet nor too much salt just the perfect blend
Courteous staff
Great ambience
One of the very few places with authentic North Indian food. Palak paneer filled with butter and cream ofcourse tasted yum 😋. Cheese chicken kabab was filled with goodness of local cheese and perfectly grilled chicken.
Butter chicken was authentic.
Price was worth the quantity and quality.
Delicious!!!
After a long day at work decided to order in North Indian Non Veg Combo from here. As usual Swiggy delivery was prompt.
I was bit apprehensive due to my previous experiences with other dhaba places. But I was not disappointed. From packing to quantity to taste everything was on point. Must try place if you're looking for some tasty northindian food. Especially the chicken gravy was yummy with spices interlaced with pulled chicken.
Price 240₹. Easily 3 people can share 2 boxes. Will definitely try their veg combo soon.
This Punjab dabha was next to my home, but have never turned up to it. At last, turned here for some Punjabi food.
The ambiance was neat with dinings. At the entrance, they had a fish tank with pinky fish. Felt bit hot as they did not turn the AC.
For Starters
PESHWARI CHICKEN🍗
No spice chicken dish, with dash of sweetness with crumbled pistachios on the top, served with onion salad and lemon. The chicken was soft and dry, not the tender and juicy type.
AFGHANI CHICKEN🍗
This had very mild spice in it, the chicken was tender. It was served with curd and green chutney along with onion salad.
For MAIN COURSE🍽
BUTTER NAAN & GARLIC NAAN
Buttery and soft naan. Went well with kadai paneer.
KADAI PANEER
Dabha is always for dal makhani and butter chicken, but for a change, I tried KADAI PANEER.
oh woowww such a yum and drool-worthy gravy, not too gravy nor dry. Perfect consistency with rich masala and spices. Capsicum and paneer pieces were good enough in number.
DESSERTS
GAJAR KA HALWA
They gave it in a small cup, felt they would have given more, its taste were too good that I craved it for again, Hot halwa with kova and nuts in it. Sweetness in it was balanced perfectly balanced.
THUMBS UP 👍
A definite try for Punjabi cuisine.

I love the food here. The starters are incredible. My fav is the Afghani chicken which is exactly like the one I had in Delhi. Also the reshmi kebab. The main courses dishes are also great. My fav being the butter chicken and the chicken Patiala. And so are the desserts. The malai over here deserves a special mention. The lassi over here could be better though.
Good north indian food. I ordered dal makhni which was good as compared to dal makhni I have ever had in South India.
This restaurant is located a km away from Music Academy. We tried the kadhai paneer with butter phulkas and butter naan. While the naan was quite big in size, phulkas were medium in size. The side dish serving was in generous quantity and was more than enough for two people. We found the taste to be good enough. The place was not crowded on a Sunday afternoon. Hence, if one is looking for a North Indian cuisine around Music Academy, cathedral road, this can be tried.

A regular customer now, I am extremely satisfied with quality of food being prepared here. With it's right taste and right quantities, Punjabi Dhaba has become a favourite.
Highly recommend: Paneer Crunchy (starter)
I ordered veg spring rolls and order was served hot. The quality of food was delicious.Totally satisfied with the delivery and taste. The sauces were also nice and also they gave salads
when ever i want some north Indian test i prefer Punjabi dhaba.. service is very nice 😃
Been there yesterday with family. had sweet corn chicken soup, golden fried prawns as starter. The prawns had a thick coating and little raw inside else was good. The main course of keema parantha, aloo parantha , naan and paneer was awesome. ended with kulfi which was also good.
The food was great and very delicious, value of money.
PRICE IS LITTLE BIT HIGH FOR THAT QUANTITY
Nice food but less quantity
The food was good ,well cooked.. but a tad oily.
Best paneer tikka and chicken cheese tandoori
Served fresh with awesome taste
Cost is bit on costlier side but it’s worth the money good to have tikka dishes here
The paneer butter masala was too good as usual
Another one of those dhabas in Chennai.. 😍 .. kinda makes you forget that you are in Chennai 😉 .. the taste of the food is near to what you get in the north.. the tandoori chicken was well cooked and moist inside.. butter chicken butter paneer and dal fry was awesome .. a welcome change from the other joints which dish out these dishes.. keema paratha should have had more keema in it.. VFM .. good portion sizes... must visit
Achari paneer was toooooo good...
Wow is the word, after a very long time I’ve had some great food, Phulka sabji, The pulav, every thing was very exceptional in taste. Had a wonderful lunch.
taste is good. worth for the cost. but delivery little bit late.
I have been here quite a lot of times and have always had a fantastic experience. The food and service both are good. I would say the Tandoori Chicken is the best.
If you really want to spend a memorable day dining out with really good spread of both Chinese and specially north Indian food please drop in this restaurant.... Awesome decor... too good food and excellent service is the best that you can ask for... Loved the aloo Partha with a smear of well matched ghee topping on it is served with pickle and a brilliantly cooked sarso da saag is a perfect compliment to go with.. I have also tasted chicken hot and garlic soup.. Chicken polao ..chicken tandoori.. which definitely deserves a chance to try again and you keep asking for more... Golden fried prawns dipped in mayonese will rejuvenate your taste buds... A fantastic place to hang around with friends and family... Please do try this restaurant.. It's definitely worth it
Food was outstanding. I highly recommend Chinese food from here. If any North Indian struggling from food problem can order from here.

2nd time. Ordered even yesterday
Food is great tasting. Also reasonably priced. The portions are much larger compared to other restaurants of same category. Rice items need some improvement.
good food... n plz provide spoon with meal
excellent service food is awesome and on time delivery
excellent service. rider is very polite and good behaviour. reached timely...
Nice place to eat . It's located in gopalapuram area, opp to pazhamudhir nilayam. Ambitious looks good , and inside the hall small statues looks too cute and nice. Food like average. I don't know about all kind of foods. But myself ordered Tandoori chicken it's feel not worthy, veg clear soups average and egg fried rice nice, kadai panneer okay , Gobi Manchurian super, naan as usual. Overall average to good only. Mostly online order coming continuously. Evening after 6.30 pm only resturant opening. Staff service okay and cost looks okay in that area .final they are giving tooth stick in one statue it's nice and comedy. And we spend more than 1.30 hours for the dinner. Nice place to hangout with friends and colleagues.
Food was really awesome and very fresh. Nice background music in the restaurant. We ordered mutton biryani and prawn gravy. Little costly but worthy.
Food was really good , one of the best biriyani i have ever tasted in chennai. Starter was out of the world, juicy, spicy and tender. Good ambience and polite service.
Excellent food we have ordered Daal makhni,Mirch masala kofta ,butter naan,Onion kulcha,Dragon chicken
Tangdi kebab,Fish finger
Everything was so fresh and delicious perfact blend of spices, quantity and quality was super and they deliver on time.
Our guest enjoyed it.
Thanks
I felt like eating Punjabi food in US. The reason being the taste was very subtle, not too much masala on their dishes nor the spicy quotient, it was less as well. All of their dishes has less salt too. All these did not put the flavor though. Food was good in fullness. Service was good and place is kept neat. Limited parking in front of the restaurant. Found the street very busy.
A Small Request: We are responsible for our Actions. Lets be mindful in all our actions, kids observe and pick the wrong stuff quickly from elders.
Very nice place for a dinner.
I had punjabi chicken, paratha and the punjabi lassi.
All of them tasted nice and were spicy as expected.
The Lassi was thick and tasted very good, definitely recommended if you order/ dine here.
The ambiance is nice, but the service is a bit slow.
Located near Stella Maris college, This place serves excellent food varieties. Their hot and sour Mutton soup is a delicacy that can be enjoyed along with their paneer or black pepper chicken. Their kebabs are out if this world. Customer service is top notch and except for their phulkas every other dish was delivered in a jiffy. Vallet parking is also present.
Went with my kids and wife for dinner. Since kids around we ordered less spicy food so we order cheese chicken kebab, keema Paratha, phulka, butter chicken and rabri , ice cream for dessert.
Butter chicken and lacha Paratha was fantastic.
Phulka and keema Paratha was good. Quality was very nice with good no of seating setup.
Only negative is order is getting very late
Rest all very good.
Typical North Indian Restraunt.
Main course was amazing, portion was great as well.
It is a not very expensive, would cost around 300-400 per person
I loved the place 🏵️ service is quick, food is good i loved mutton keema with rumali roti and masala papad. The place is authentic and economical as well. The staff was courteous.
Really good food and quick service. Restaurant feels very nostalgic in the way that it is set up and running. Really enjoyed the Mango lassi.
Portions are pretty big and worth the money.
Anu's Punjabi Dhaba, the place which was long pending on my bucket list.
Located in the main Road, near AIADMK office.
Parking Facility Available.
So I went along with my friends at 8.pm.
Hot and Sour Mutton Soup : Undoubtedly the best you get ever get in this surrounding,
Mutton was so tender and the soup had reasonable number of pieces.
I loved the essence of the soup.
All the spices were mixed welll and The flavour of ginger too. Really tasty and mouth watering it was .
Corn and Cheese Balls : It was served hot hot. The flour used was of great quality. Could sense it when I ate it. The sauce was spicy and suited it well.
Paneer Tikka : Great Blend of spices. It was garnished well. The Paneer was very fsoft and it was cooked well .
The pieces were big enough. I loved the flavour. It was extremely good.
Peshwari Chicken Tikka : We just wanted to try something Spicy.
But it was over spicy. A little disappointed on the taste side too. It was not so very tasty. An okayish dish. The chicken pieces were really soft and tender .
Dhabba Special Chicken : It looked super yummy. But Still I would say it didn't meet the expectations. It was Cheese topping which was melting on the gravy & Coriander too.
It had some some chunks of peas which I didn't like . It looked very odd. Pieces were good. Average over all.
The gravy was very rich.
Kadai Paneer : The Gravy had a great blend of spices, it had some chilly which was fantastic to look in at and taste too.
Naan and Rotis : could have been more softer and thinner .felt it was hard.
Garlic naan was good.
On the whole, I would Recommend this place .
My rating : 4/5

I had Aloo Paratha and Gobi Paratha from Anu's Punjabi Dhaba both online and dining. The food was very tasty and really worth the money. The atmosphere at the hotel was also excellent with candescent lights and vibrant experience and the service by them is also worth every penny.
Dal Makhni is Awesome. Butter chicken was average. Briyani was good. Apart from food fast service and nice ambience. They have valet parking too.
