Greams road outlet used to be my one of my favourite place to have milkshake. Now the quality is dropped lot.
It is no more the way it used to be a few years back. It's just average.
Anyway coming to today's experience in cathedral road outlet. it was okayish.
My all time favourite is chocolate and jughead milkshake here.
We had
Jughead milkshake (3.5/5):- milkshake made with vanilla and figs.
Chocolate Bourbon milkshake (3.5/5):- chocolate milkshake with Bourbon biscuit.
Chilli cheese sandwich (3.5/5):- sandwich made ith cheese slices, chilli, mayonnaise and lettuce.
Service is quick and fast as the tables were empty and not much crowded
They need to improve ac cooling it was kind of uncomfortable.

This is the place to head to if you need juice and nothing fancy. Extensive menu with loads of options. I have heard a doctor recommend juice for patients suggesting that it can be picked up from fruit shop so it has definitely built up a good name in terms of quality and hygiene.
Fruit shop on greams road is another favourite destination for refreshments and this outlet being the regular place. Order always being Jug head special which use to be consistent in taste.

Once upon a time I used to be a frequent visitor at FSOGR both at their Greams Road and Besant Nagar outlets. It has been quite a while since I have been there before I visited this Gopalapuram outlet.
Well, nothing much has changed since then. The quality remains excellent. I had this time gone for a Fig Milkshake. The fig was well grounded and blended with the milk. The only concern perhaps was that this could be served in a glass rather than a plastic one. Otherwise all well.

Fruit shop on greams road is located near Stella Mary college. We went to this place yesterday and ordered jughead special, tender coconut pudding. Tender coconut pudding was mind blowing, it almost reminded me of junnu(Telugu). Jughead special was also amazing with creamy texture and also chunks of dry fruit in it. Ambience was cool but rates were little bit on higher side.
Awesome fruit and a must go for fruit shake lovers. Jughead special, mulberry/banana smoothie, faluda are the must to have. You can try out different shakes that they offer! It's worth it.

if its mango season dont forget to try Alphonso mango shake.. there is no word to describe how refreshing it is.. only after drinking more than half the glass i realized that i had to take a pic. awesome shake..
it was a bike ride on a heavy sunny day and want to have lunch but not in a mood to have regular food. My bike stopped in front of this Fruit shop.
When we entered not felt like having a proper air-conditioning. but it was okay.
The ambiance was cool.
A self service joint with lot of space to sit and relax.
we ordered bowl if veg, elaneer (tender coconut) pudding, veg cheese sandwich, lemon mint and mosambi juice.
The bowl of garden fresh veg and fruit was a perfect meal for this heat. Sandwich worked out very well.
Both juice was also cool.
The pudding was the real hero. not able stop eating the same. we repeated the same 3 times. Superb taste. loved it.

Not disappointed at all.
Caramel pudding is not one of the best I have ate but it's good enough.
But the Tender Coconut pudding is something that is recommended. Taste is really good with the palm sugar just amplifies it. Melts as soon as you put in the mouth and doesn't have a over powering coconut taste.
The typical healthy, relaxing and refreshing place. The perfect blend of everything you’d want with an extraordinarily variety of drinks. Till date the best tender coconut pudding I’ve had. The jig head special remains my favourite.
Definitely a must visit place to have delicious juices in chennai city. Worth every penny you spend. Never miss to give it a try. Pretty much you get the same feel good effect on almost all the outlets in chennai.
The Fruit Shop On Creams Road - The Best for smoothies, fruits and desserts!

Visited this place twice till date. Can be said as one of the best places to sit, relax and have a good juice or milkshake.
Location - It's located exactly before Nando's on the Cathedral road. Pretty easy to locate if you are particularly looking for it.
Parking - The place has minimal parking space in front. But there is a security assigned to assist us in parking. The security isn't always present to help us. But if we keep waiting in the front with our car for 2-3 minutes he'll notice us from some corner and come out patiently :-P
Ambience - The place is spacious and has lots of seating for a juice shop. The seats aren't too comfortable. I've been here twice and both the times I noticed that the air-conditioning wasn't enough. We were sweating inside. The lighting is ample. The place is maintained clean.
Service - Place the orders at the counter and the orders will be delivered at our table. The place wasn't much crowded both the times and the service was pretty quick. The lady behind the counter has good knowledge of the items available on the menu.
Food - I've had different kinds of juices and various varieties of eatables at this outlet and various other branches. The blueberry magic and mango banana smoothie are my personal favourites. The chocolate shake is okay. Other juices are good. The chocolate pudding is nothing but just thick chocolate cream. It is yummy. The mango cheese cake was something different and tasty. Even though the prices seem a tad high, I feel like it is okay to pay that much for the service, location and good shakes.
The air-conditioning alone makes me hesitant to visit this place again, especially during summer.

Back to FS, I tried the tender coconut pudding because that's what everyone talks about! TBH, it was alright. Seemed natural, I guess no egg or preservs. So all marks for that. But was wondering if the taste was overrated.
Second, Jughead special. Im back in town after a while, so tried Jughead without realizing it has ice cream. It's an amazing product, but was pretty heavy and.. took a long time to finish it. Would have rather shared it with a friend.
Would visit the place again. Staff are sweet, except for a poker faced person behind the billing counter heheh
Haven't tried their salads, that would be next on my list. Given that Chennai doesn't have a lot of places that serve good quality salad/not overpriced (or does it??) I'll start exploring FSGR's first.

This being one of their most prominent outlets and it's located just opposite to chola Sheraton n next to Camera citi.
There were a decent space for car parking. This outlet is widely spacious and looked like a perfect place to hangout in cathedral Road. Every time I step in to Fruit shop, my very first order would be their Coconut pudding 🌴. The scrapped coconut flavour with the cool jelly texture, seemed a perfect dessert for the scorching sun ☀️
For Juice, went for pure Kabul Pomegranate and Litchi milkshake. Their pomegranate juice is pure extract of the rich fruit without any addition. Litchi milkshake was just Ok, as the juice was slightly sour which deteriorated the shake.
Overall, this is a lovely place to hangout and to quench the thirst in this deadly summer. Service was passable and we were billed for 400 bucks which was quite a decent VFM..

I personally loved Kochadaiyaan in spite of it bombing at the box office. It was a great movie! Think about it. It had a great story, some plot twists, and basically, it was the foundation on which Bahubali was built. It even had some great songs, and one of which sung by ARR himself had this amazing line “Nindra idathil nirka venduma, nee odi kondey iru”. Fruitshop has done exactly that.
They realized that the only way that they can stay relevant, that too being right next to a big educational institution, is if they decide to do something different. While they haven’t drastically changed their setup, they’ve added a few dishes to their repertoire. Sandwiches and dessert jars. Nice ya.
Sandwiches we’ve had are a paneer tikka sandwich and a grilled vegetable sandwich. The paneer tikka was excellent and spiced well. The grilled vegetable sandwich was intriguing, as it had pieces of aubergine in it and it was the first time I’ve ever seen that vegetable make an appearance between to loaves of bread. While the sandwich is grilled outside, it isn’t that hot on the inside, so they should probably grill it a bit more. Thankfully they don’t microwave the sandwich before service. That would have been a disaster.
They have fallen victim to serving dessert jars from The Table. While I don’t mind them doing it, serving pre made dessert jars is just a way of saying “I’m too lazy, I can’t make dessert”. Oh well.
Besides their new additions, the foundation of the juice shop remains solely on it’s milkshakes, which have been consistently excellent, barring the quantity. Sometimes there’s too much milkshake, sometimes there’s too little of it, and the recent time I visited, there was just enough. Usual orders are the Jughead special, Beach boy and Ethel’s Choice. Kanna mooditu order panlam. Never disappointed. I do have a problem with their ice cream though. During a recent visit, my cousin had asked for a chocolate milkshake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Any ice cream that undergoes any extent of lactose crystallization, is of poor quality. I was disappointed to see that, and looked at my Jughead with a look of “Et tu brutus”. Sigh.
The place is very nicely lit and has a lot of small table/chairs to accommodate a lot of people. Their service is good, and they even serve people from the comfort of their cars from outside the restaurant. While I understand this a super feature, I’ve seen fellow patrons misuse it like crazy, as it is understandable if celebrities in their Bentleys arrive for a take away, but my friend who drive there in an alto and act like they own half of poes garden, really gets on my nerves (I was in the backseat, and we had some good music going on, so I sat through it for once :P). Still, the management graciously agrees to serve snobs like my buddy without breaking a sweat. Wonderful.
Whenever my friends and I decide to catch up, we don’t need to pre/post qualify Fruitshop with additional details. We just know we’re talking about this branch, cause not only is it nearby to all of us, but it is easily the best Fruitshop franchise outlet in the city. Hope they continue to grow for years to come, but only if they sort out their ice cream problem.

Excellent service , even the parking is taken care off perfectly. The juices are good but on this particular instance there was too much of ice crystals in the drink which spoilt the flavour. My top recommend would be blue dot special

Any hot afternoon ......the one thing that comes to my mind to quench my thirst is the lime and mint cooler......its been more than twelve years i have been having this. It was priced at 20 ten years back now it had reached Rs.60.but nothing else has changed. The refreshing flavor of mint and lemon just blows me off . Even to see such a bright vivid colored drink is so divine. As we r heading to a scorching summer never forget this drink... its cheap when compared to other ones in fruit but at the same it does its job beautifull on a hot summer afternoon.
Kiwi with ice cream or strawberry with ice cream is the best in fruit shop too. Any juice u pick here ......fruit shop has their mark. Most times they don disappoint me. But any day i dine their or stop by for quick take away drink .....i will order lime and mint as a starter .....then i would go for someother juice......ahhhhh yes starter in drinks......its tht good.
Reagrding their ambience sometimes i feel their walls are tad a bit dirty but thts ok ....once u start indulging on their juices and quick bites nothing else comes to ur mind.....always the best!!!!!!

So we ordered a jughead special and a paneer sandwich 😍 The sandwich was actually so amazing that we ended up ordering another one 🧀😳 A whole thick paneer slice with veggies for just ₹90 bucks ! A great deal 😍

This particular outlet of Fruit Shop located on the cathedral road right next to Nando's could be my most favorite one....thanks to the spacious and well maintained ambiance...though the service here a bit on the slower side..they are kind and couteous and are really helpful in making decisions...

Fruit Shop has been around in Chennai for as long as I can remember and it is here to stay for good reasons. It is synonymous with Chennai's Tropical Climate and also, they rarely lose their consistency. By consistency, I mean that all the juices taste the same in all the branches. They have an elaborate and interesting menu but I usually play it safe with the regular favourites like Lime Mint Cooler, Very Berry Juice, Sheikh Shake, Finnesse, Jughead Special, Mulberry Banana Smoothie and Bartender's Blush. As for the place, it is nothing out of the ordinary. Just your usual hangout spot. Service is decent. Thanks to the laziness that comes with the Summer Heat, I usually order online and have it delivered at home. As for the prices, it has increased over the years but most of us aren't complaining because Hey, we love our California Quenchers on a hot summer day!

Fruit Shop as such has always been THE place for my friends and I to chill over juices and this branch is one of my favorites of them all. Ambiance wise, situated in quite a prominent location, the place is wide, airy and is spaced out well and has ample parking. The decor and seating is just about perfect for a casual meeting. Service is decent enough and the waiting time never exceeds 10-15 mins even if the place is crowded!
Their menu is TOO elaborate with a huge number of mocktails and milkshakes with zesty names. I cannot recollect the umpteen number of times I've gulped down their Jughead Special. Creamy, frothy and the right amount of heavy to satisfy your stomach! Their Caramel Custard is also delicious. Prices have been ever increasing over the years, but for their freshness, quality and health factor it always seems to be a good option to treat yourself to.

The ever present name in terms of Juices and Milkshakes in Chennai. Was supposed to meet a few people and needed a slightly saner place in the vicinity so headed to their Gopalapuram outlet which is just next to Camera Citi.
Not much in terms of parking space outside but they have a security who helps you park. Seating was pretty big enough keeping in mind the students who throng the outlet from Stella I suppose. Had the sheikh shake for the first time and loved it. I also tried the strawberry milkshake which was quite good.
Taste is consistent in all the branches and staff were polite with service being quick.
FSG is the bench marks of juices for me in chennai. Had their jughead and it is one of the best drinks in chennai. U need to try it to know how good it is.
I'm always surprised by how the juices taste the same at all fruit shop on greames road outlets. And through the years they have consistently served good juices and milk shakes. My personal favorite are mulberry banana shake and Jughead special. However all their juices are pretty good.
Almost every time I return from dad's place, this will be my pitstop for refueling :P The most visited FSG after Bessie and anna nagar for me. Our orders are standard. One chocolate milkshake for the kid and a jughead special for me. Take away. Have been here numerous time still I haven't had anything else here. Staff are friendly and courteous and the drinks reaches us in 10 mins every time.
This is an exceptional place for juices and milkshakes. Quite a vast menu and no matter which concoction you pick up, it's going to surprise you with its taste. I love this fruits shop more than the others because it is walkable distance from my house and even if bunch of friends drive by we always have enough space to park. Their smoothies are a rage since a long time now. My personal favourites are mulberry banana smoothie, Jughead special, beachboy, bartender's blush, spitfire, kiwi juice and lime mint. Their caramel custard pudding is the safest bet from the dessert menu. When summers hit Chennai, I know I'll be here.
The juices as expected are exceptional. They have a large variety of juices, milkshakes etc. My personal favorites are Jughead special and mulberry banana smoothie. All juices are very good. This was not as good as the greams road outlet. The juices were a bit more dilute. But still overall excellent.
My favourite place (I.e.. Gopalpuram outlet).. Its quite spacious and very near to my house :D ... Blue dot and Jughead are my favourites here... Also caramel custard pudding is good...
Have been going to fruit shop for almost 8 years! Caramel custard pudding, ban the banana and California quencher still continue to be my favourite. They do not give franchises which is upsetting eben though they have an outlet in Dubai.

Had an average experience at "FSGR" RK Salai. The sunshine juice was watery and had a very little orange taste. The Coconut pudding was nice. I liked the poster they had around the store which explained the health benefits of few fruits.

Visiting Fruit Shop during mango season is the best time ever. Nothing can beat the taste of Alphonso Mango Shake in this hot and humid chennai weather. This branch is one of the oldest branches of this franchise and hence the interior s looked quite old, but the taste of the juice hasn't changed a bit. It's as good as it was before. Hospitality was amazing as always. Finnesse and Juice Boy are few other amazing shakes.

It's the oldest fruit juice shop of chennai. It's been so many years and still they have maintained the taste of fresh juice. This outlet serves sandwiches also. Not so crowded and mostly take away orders are being served.
The chain that does not disappoint you irrespective of whichever outlet you go to. They have managed to maintain the taste and quality of their servings to the utmost level of satisfaction. I think most chennaites who are aware of this chain do not order anything other than Jughead special. It's just unbeatable.

Fruit shop on greams road is located at cathedral road near to Stella Mary college. We went to this shop yesterday and ordered tender coconut pudding and jughead special. Tender coconut pudding was amazing, it almost reminded me of junnu(Telugu). Jughead special was also mind blowing. I think jughead is some kind of dry fruit.
If you want to take juice while going to the office or in the workplace, this is the best option for you to order from the car and take it from shop

One of the best dessert shop in the area. Now they have increased the menu with few snack items as well. Great place to relax and spend time with friends. Seating could be better with more comfortable options.
