Foods are okay. Environment, Parking, Ambiance, Service everything is fine.. But it lost its authentic style and taste.. Taste are not as before it was in Nungambakkam.. They're just promoting their hotel name and environment but they lost military restaurant identity ... It's just a normal restaura

A lot depends on what you expect from a place like this. If you are expecting biryani of the level of Dum Pukht or Bukhara, you won't get it. Good non veg restaurant. Biryani is just average. What I liked most is hot & spicy Chicken soup. Serving time is also good.
Not so good option for non veg meals. Keeping the traditional name "Velu military hotel " this is duplicate. The original name which was early earned stands for exclusive taste and known all over chennai.
It has been a nice place for good food lovers and they are providing in reasonable price compare to other hotels near 100 feet road in Vadapalani, one thing I need to say is they are consistent in all food items since 1998, and they are giving complimentary SOUP as well and the lunch is amazing and
South cuisine restaurants generally don't give any curries when u order idiyappam or aappam but this place treats you with chicken, fish and mutton curry
The food tastes good and is adoptive to south Indian style.
