Had ordered a mini mutton briyani combo with chicken leg fry. The seeraga samba briyani was good as usual. The briyani is mild on the masala n spices. The chicken leg fry was decent. The quantity was perfect for one person

One day I have to give to my office colleagues. one of my friend told me about this restaurant.
So we ordered one chicken bucket biriyani, one mutton bucket biriyani and grill chicken. They gave one chicken gravy as compliment. Very generous of them. Both the biriyani is less oily and very good taste. Grill chicken was delicious. I loved it. Bucket biriyani was worth the price. Packing was good. It was hot while delivered and it was timely delivery. Everyone enjoyed the biriyani. Mutton pieces are little lesser than the chicken pieces.
I couldn't find the eggs in the package. When I ordered chicken bucket biriyani from other places they gave eggs too. Maybe they don't do it here.

We ordered chicken Briyani , egg Briyani and mutton chukka. Briyani was incredible as usual. I always love the aroma of rice, well cooked meat, flavour and combination of ingredients. Like the way they serve in plantain leaf with raita and brinjal curry. Mutton chukka was ok and bit hard. Itโs a best place for Briyani
If i would like to have a nice dinner which is trust worthy, I will always go for Ambur star biryani near the DLF. The Taste is always consistent and never had any disappointment. The quantity is bit low, but quality wise, it was really great.
Had ordered mutton biryani through zomato delivery. The biryani is really outstanding. Beats the well known biryani shops. The only thing that was of concern is that it was too oily. Apart from that, the taste is really delicious. The rice is soft and so is the mutton. Biryani lovers must try this place.

Just had mutton biryani and prawn but the taste was great. I believe it tastes better if you had it in person rather than parcels. The meat is very well cooked and the rice was juicy and not very spicy.
My initial assumption was that is it a cheap place but then I realised it is an economic place. Value for money food.

The Mutton Briyani is best here. It tastes exactly like the one that we get in "Ambur". Good quantity of portion. Their side dish also good. I particularly didn't liked the nethili fish fry. Apart from that a great place for briyani. But the interiors is not as a fine dine. A simple quick lunch place.

There are very few outlets in and and around Ramapuram, and Star โญ๏ธ biriyani is one among the front runners๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ
It's located next to DLF, where you can find a narrow stairs leading to a small outlet upstairs. The ambience is passable and could accommodate upto 20 max!!!
The menu is pretty straight forward right from the starters/appetisers to main course!!!
Went for the usual legacy combo 'Mutton biriyani' and chicken 65 ๐ . We were
greeted with banana leaf. It's always so lively to have a meal in banana leaf.. Got our order placed in few minutes..
The biriyani looked yummy. It was prepared in seeraga samba rice. It was moderately hot and the aroma was missing a bit.. Now coming to the taste, it was indeed good.. it was aesthetically prepared and tasted so traditional!! The mutton pieces were cooked so well. The oil was very minimal, and this is very crucial for a biriyani!! Chicken 65 was ok.
The quantity of the biriyani was quite minimal, it might not satisfy for biriyani lovers like me ๐๐

This outlet is located very next to DLF IT park porur. Parking is bit of an issue for two wheelers, so pls don't ask me about four wheeler. Ambience is ok.
Now coming to Briyani, it's different when compared to others. They don't use basmathi rice, instead they use some small rice, I think it's seeraga samba.
We took a parcel of chicken Briyani, egg Briyani. Chicken was good, egg was little less tasty when compared to chicken.
Other wise it was good, no complaints

It's been a while since I resumed my foodie journey as I went overseas and returned to an opportunist mentality of worship of mom's food. And can't deny that feeling owing to my poor trials with cooking.
So here I was. Parents off to bangalore and Its for just 2 days I gave up cooking and went into Briyani mode. I frequent porur arcot Briyani as it is one of the best ever I had. To remove bias off my palate, I was returning from kotturpuram on my way to porur and this Star Briyani outside dlf got my eyes and with no parking I risked my bike assuming a quick parcel.
I climb up the stairs and was disappointed to find a closed sign on the door. To my surprise I see a guy inside waving indicating that it is open. The ambience was horrible with no air conditioning. Of course power shedding schedule coinciding with lunch time. I opted for a mutton Briyani parcel and asked if it can be paid with card. After almost 15 minutes of waiting I get my parcel. Risking my vehicle and the poor ambience inside, I hoped the Briyani is worth it.
I went home and poured a small shot of mature brandy with chilled water(forgot to keep some rocks ready). I started tasting the Briyani while having the shot ensuring that no influence of the potency on my alcohol is applied.
The Briyani(normal rice) was not so bad. Especially the final few morsels of the kushka was absolutely amazing with oil, spices and taste of mutton giving it a neat taste. I am not sure if the rating for the eatery was given based on the overall quality of other items on the menu but I felt the Briyani was above average though 20 rs more than the usual stars, arcots and amburs.
Use to have biryani always whenever I visit this shop.
For a change this time I tried fried rice and noodles. Taste is good.
Tried pepper kebab chicken too and it's good.

Definitely the biryani here is different and tasty.... if u are tired of the regular biryani u get in chennai(chicken with tomato rice), then this place is worth trying.
Biryani is good. Side dishes are also worth trying. Starters portion is little less but it goes with the price. Tandoori is good here. I am not a fan of mutton but liked the mutton pepper fry that they serve. Their raita n brinjal curry are worth mentioning. Don't expect much from the ambiance. The service is decent enough. I liked the pan(without leaf) that they offer.

I never visited this restaurant but had booked for home delivery many many many times just because I love the taste and lobe it's richness and quality!!!they serve awesome biriyani and chicken dishes!!!nevertheless they serve with good seafood dishes!!!

Rich , tasty and small portion of biryani .
It has its own different flavour . Cooked in samba rice , it has an unique texture and flavour .
Must try if u are in and around this place . They serve less when compared to the biryani places opposite to them , like Salem RR and rahaman biryani . But taste is good and very different
I would say jus blindly head to this place for the best succulent biriyani experience of ur life and u will not be disappointed. This is wat an authentic biriyani should taste like. Hats off. They could still better their ambience though.
Chicken biryani was superb! Loved the taste of the zeeragasamba rice but the masala is less in the rice. Quantity is very less. One cannot fill his stomach with a plate of biriyani wen hungry.

I have ordered 11 pax mutton & chicken briyani. Quantity is more than what 11 persons can consume. Packing and condiments were extra icing on the cake.
