The chocolate fudge was made in an exact way which has good toppings. You can expect a good mousse at a descent price here. The level of service is also good.

Went for quick evening snack. Ordered Club veg sandwich and Alfredo pasta. Quantity and taste were excellent and worth every penny you spend. Finished with Blue lagoon which I felt was not to the mark. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

Have been a frequent visitor to this place for short eats...the thing I love the most is ambience ofcourse their chicken nuggets...I am a huge fan of their chicken nuggets...it is perfectly fried and provide mayonnaise if requested...I read a lot of reviews about bad service but I always had a good service...once the chicken nuggets was not available so they requested to change and provided another dish for the same price...have also tried french fries, butterscotch milkshake, mocktails and blackcurrant shake which was awesome..

Tasted like homemade food. So, depending on what you expect that might either be a good or a bad thing. Pizza was average and pasta tasted like it had been whipped up at home at midnight as a quick snack. Not really a con but sometimes you want to have restaurant quality food and this is not thw place for that. If you're looking for simple, home style food then give this place a try.
The chicken sandwich club was really good for the price but the pizza was awful. chocoman is pocket friendly but fails in certain dishes. I personally felt that Medavakkam branch is better than Velachery branch
Chocomans is my long time bookmark... Finally got a chance to visit today... This place is small but so brightful.. Could accomodate 15 - 20 people... Kind of self service... You have to order in the counter and they will bring the food to your table.. Finish your food and pay the bill at the counter..

My sister suggested me to try hot fudge brownie... So amazing... For 150rs this is the best fudge brownie I ever had... Worth the money... I Strongly recommend it...

This review is based on my first order only. I needed a cake urgently and I had no other option. Luckily enough they were ready to give the cake as per my time. I loved the chocomans service. They called me just to make sure I had the correct information regarding the cake. And they were flexible enough to deliver at the given location even though it was really far. The cake was amazing. Perfect, soft, fresh❤️
Ordered veg wrap, white pasta, paneer pizza and chocolate shake.
Everything was super and it was worth every penny.

This place is located right at Baby Nagar bus stop on Taramani Road. Easily noticeable and occasionally crowded. I am a regular customer here - dine in and delivery.
My favorite dish here is the Chicken club sandwich which I would rate one of the best sandwiches in all of Chennai. The value for money on the dish (which includes fries as well) is very good. Plentiful quantity with amazing taste at just around 100 bucks.
Btw, I will also recommend the chicken burger which you should order with extra cheese because it quite dry without it. One thing I don't like here is the pizza. It just didn't hit the mark.
So if all this is good, then why don't I rate Chocomans higher ? Well, you should know that there's also an aspect to a restaurant called "service" which is quite important.
I wouldn't call their service bad, just not good.
2 main reasons:
1) They say they have home delivery on Zomato but most of the time they tell you "sorry we don't do home delivery". Last time I ordered they accepted delivery and now the min order amount is 300.
2) Because of this fiasco with home delivery, I started trying takeaway. Every single time I call them to arrange a takeaway, I have to go to the restaurant and wait atleast 20 minutes. Whether I go 15 minutes after calling or 30 minutes after calling, I have to wait. On the phone they tell you it will be ready in 10 to 15 minutes but they only start preparing it once you go there.
In conclusion, I would rate this place much higher for the good food and very reasonable price but because of the troubles I faced with service I am unable to recommend it.
If the service improves in future, I will be glad to rate it much higher.
Edit: Last time I ordered takeaway the service was better. Waiting time was much less and much acceptable. Also they've still kept the prices quite affordable. So increasing my rating as promised.

Had an very good experience with them in ordering my daughters second birthday cake. It tasted yummy and everyone loved it .It was a hassle free experience ordering with them and got the cake home delivered. Also i have to add Quality was best even though they charge less than other bakeries.

I am giving 5* for its excellent choco truffle photo cake my friend and I ordered. We walked in to plenty of joints but this is the only one we saw so affordable. Cake was absolutely delicious and neatly finished. I would recommend this place highly for everyone to buy party cakes.

So after getting caught in the rain we took shelter in this place and eventually decided to try out their items.
The place is a little small but since their main attraction is cakes it's understandable that only few people decide to sit here and eat
We ordered French fries without knowing that there is going to be fries in the club sandwich but we had eventually finished both of it completely and it was both delicious and since it was served hot it was perfect for the cold
Later we ordered a cinnamon toast with coffee, it was a combo, and the cinnamon toast tasted like heaven except for the fact that it had raisins since I'm not a fan of them but that's a personal choice and inspire of it I still enjoyed it
The coffee was hot and they had not added sugar prior to serving it which I was thankful for since I prefer adding sugar myself to suit my taste
Overall it was a wonderful experience and the prices were affordable too and we were thankful that we decided to take shelter here 🙏🏽💕

This has been regular hangout for me, quiet place decent seating arrangements and nothing flashy setups. Very decently priced item's. Very limited item on the menu sandwich and pastas are their mains. A bigger variety on the pastry aide. My all time favourite item is chicken club sandwich with an Indian flavour sprinkled on the fries priced for Rs. 110 AI. Chocolate fudge with an scoop of ice cream is the best to get stuffed. Overall a good place to hang out. Don't expect silver wares n crockery on the table. Attached is the chicken club sandwich.
Regular hangout for my group in velachery. Recommend their chicken club sandwich, fries, cappuccino and hot chocolate. Nice place to chill out while watching the insane traffic on taramani link road. AC switches off sometimes and pisses me off. They do need to install a wash basin.
It's one of those places where u can snack on a very reasonable price and get the best quality... the sandwiches are really good and believe me they are even reasonable... tagged photo is of a non veg sandwich with fries costing around 100 odd... maybe less.. sorry don't remember the price.. but I really didn't like the mango milkshake... they charged 70 but they opted to put some syrup instead... that was a spoiler for me... Can look out for options like natural mango pulp or something... Keep up the good work guys... Definitely recommended....

Normal seating and good ambience does the job but that aint the star, their pastries are...they are serious contenders and their variety is equally appealing.

When out for a late night ice cream adventure me and my sis found this place to be open( around 11pm).
Its a small place with red tables.
Apart from sundaes there were pastas, pizzas, b'day cakes and other snacks.
We had the #Mad chocolate and #Oreo shake there and took takeaways for others. Chocolate ice cream was really good, not sweet and not too bitter, oreo shake was also great. #Black forest ice cream was also good,it was mostly chocolate. #Cookies n cream was like paste, a disaster and fig milkshake was nice but too sweet.

An outlet that is making its way around the city, with several branches, Chocoman sure has earned it name. I've been to the ones in Chrompet and Camp road but Velachery seems like a better branch than all.
Minimal ambience, varied menu.
-- The fries were had simply because they were a friend's suggestion. Unimpressed. But they were courteous enough to provide mayo as a side when I asked for it.
-- The walnut Brownie with hot sauce and icecream - Neither the paper plate nor the shoddy presentation could marr the drooolicious smell from this, and it definitely lived up to the expectation. I forgot to even click a pic for Zomato. Beautiful food.
-- Cappuccino - Normal, everyday stuff.
The Brownie elevated a 3.0 rating to a 3.5

Black current- Normal! Nothing to boast about! French fries-I loved it!Very few places have good fries and this one surely did!Served hot, Right amount of spice!Perfect Toppings. This is our favorite hangout place as we stay close to this place. We go there atleast once in a week.
Last week we have tried ChocoFudge and I must that it's out of the world. My wife was a chococakeholic and she loved every bit of it. Their service is also good and a good pocket friendly for light snacks n starters.
this is a Vegetarian review. A place for French fries, Tasty affordable Pizzas, creamy yummy drinks, pocket friendly, a cute hangout for friends, friendly ambiance. Only thing is it gets stuffy when they do not switch on the AC. Sandwiches, burgers Ok. Wraps desperately needs rework from the chef.
Such a nice place for quick check-ins especially for light snacks and starters. Worth every penny and the service is too good ! Located in the busy roads the place is little crowded but getting a table isn't an issue. Veg nuggets and wraps are surely a delight. Not to leave pastas as well

The first time I was here, I went unsuspectingly, just thinking it was another regular outlet like Hot Breads or French Loaf. Well, I would go on to say that the place, though small, is much better than either of the two. A neat place, very well maintained, bright, just sitting inside makes us feel good. The staff is polite and courteous as well.
But the highlight of this place is how the make even the simplest of things like an omlette look cool in burger. The first time, I ordered an Omlette burger and Fries. It was a good experience, the second time, it was "finger licking good". We ordered a Penne Alfredo and Fries (again) and a Walnut Brownie with Ice cream at the end. Everything was really good in its own way. The brownie especially was melt-in-the-mouth tasty and was out-of-the-world when eaten with Vanilla ice cream.
I am looking forward to being a regular at this place. :)

Great place for chocolate desserts add the name suggests. They have an incredible chocofudge cake. It is filled with nuts and rich chocolate. One of the best I have ever had! It's a part of my order everyone I visit this place. Try the fudge cake after warming it a bit with vanilla ice cream. It will probably be the best dessert you have tasted for 100 bucks. They have a great pasta as well though the pizza is not that great. All their chocolate cakes are pretty good as well. Do give this place a try.
Small place but serves excellent pastries and cakes. My favourite is butterscotch flavour cake. U can go to this place if you want to grab quick bite. They serve awesome omelette sandwich and decent chicken club sandwich. Potato smileys are something unique they offer and quite different from regular french fries. Pasta arrabiata was little spicy and had too much pepper. One should not miss butterscotch milkshake it's L-eg-en-da-ry. For IITM junta don't waste your money on kick start cafe this is the correct place to have small meal and at walking distance from Krishna Gate.
Great food at budget rates. I've been here many times and their burgers, sandwiches and pizzas are quite good. Specialty is their delicious pastries- tiramisu and the varied chocolate products. Light on the wallet and good, quick food.

Just saw the hotel n thought of giving it a try few days back. Didn't get the time. Yesterday got the chance to go there. The place is a small one so don't expect place to sit as soon as u enter on weekend Eve's. Menu is decent and the taste is good, but still can be improved. Can try it as a place for quick dinner or snacks point. Also bit over priced. Surely will go again.
Ordered their chicken cheese balls for starters which was perfectly fried. Chicken penne Alfredo was also too good. Not fond of their cakes though.

Trusting a friend's word about the place, I landed up here to try out there pasta and super economical pizza. Pizza Americano, that's what they call this one with lots of cheese, jalapeno, onion and you'd be lucky to find olives sometimes. Sized a little smaller and thinner than the medium at premier stores, the base was crisp and goes well with those toppings. Ah ! And finally Penne l'arrabiata delayed arrival was worth the wait, giving us a saucy and appropriately spiced pasta served red hot soon landing onto taste buds only to please ;).

This place is very close to my house and really love everything that's available here. From the chocolate truffle cakes to the penne alfredo pasta. I go here almost everyday. A small and lovely place.
Situated not that far from the IITM Krishna Gate, this place is very convenient for "insti junta". For now I have just had the Ice Cream Sundaes (all of them except Strawberry Delight and Arabian Delight), hence my review will be focussing on the sundaes mainly. I may add more to this after a few more outings there.
The restaurant is a nice & tidy, small & humble joint to chill with your date/friends at pocket-friendly rates. The service is pretty good and the food - both quality and quantity - I find them to be good for the price too. Out of the Sundaes my favourites are the Banana Split (who doesn't like!?) and Princess Melba. The latter is just too delicious if you love chewing off peaches in whipped cream :D If you haven't tried it before, I suggest you do that.
This place made me love pasta (especially Arabiata). Pastries are all good (Hot chocolate truffle with vanilla being awesome). My friend @yaswanth felt eating cheese cake was a bad idea.
Used to be a great place for all the items on the menu. But somehow lost its charm. They seem to operate half of what they used to. They did not have French fries also the last time we went.

A nice, small place to hangout with buddies. The quality of bakery is really good, and is great value for money. The only bakery in area which is as good as 'The French Bakery' and charges half the rate.

A small, neat and clean, good ambiance, good service,bakery/ fast food/ dessert eatery that filled a void in Velachery!!!!! Menu's are beautifully coined with equal preference to veg and non veg.
PIZZA'S: We proceeded with baby corn pizza and mushroom pizza, had a decent crust and texture was OK . The overpowering taste of oregano was the spoiler. BURGER'S: Decently sized, Veg burger was bland but my friends were so contented with chicken burger. For extra cheese they charged us around Rs.25/burger, But in the menu it was mentioned as Rs.20 only. PANEER WRAP: Tasted good, It had tiny pieces of paneer, onion, tomato,capsicum and cabbage wrapped in chappathi. The stuff had excess oil, so chappatis were soaked in oil and had a glittery outlook. Green Alligator, an attractive green colored drink, with sweetish sour taste!!!!, DESSERTS: had a scrumptious look, but tasted like a normal chocolate ice cream....
Overall, dishes tasted good but not extraordinary, So its a good place to have short bite to feed you hunger!!!!

Chocomans is the best place for customized cakes at an affordable cost with impressive quality. Having tried so many cake options in Chennai, I can vouch for chocomans. Everything on the cake is edible including the photo prints on top of the cake and they look amazing!

We had a nice experience with Chocoman's Velachery. We placed an order for customized Truffle cake to deliver same day. Though it required pre-order, Mr. Muthuvel helped to get customized in similar theme within 4 hours and get it delivered as per request. Appreciate his help on the last minute orders. The outcome and the taste was delicious.

Was a regular visitor to this place before Covid. They served really good pasta, pizza, masala fries and sizzling brownie with icecream. Sandwiches are ok.

Recent experience (2021): visited a few times. pasta was not available or didn't taste the same as before. Brownie, cakes and other bakery items are available.
Hope they start serving as before soon.
