Ordered dinner from Moms Food Factory... Dosa and mutton curry + Nethilli fry. It smelled so good I couldn't wait to get home to eat it so I opened up the well packed box in the cab and started thulping and oh boy was I happy I made that decision. Messy hands, but a happy tummy. The nethilli was so fresh and crispy and the mutton was cooked to perfection. You won't be disappointed. A must try
An overall good experience, well behaved staff , food- as the name says it delivers . Must try

Loved it !! Mutton uppu kari
I loved it! Specially chicken 65 and prawn thokku!!
A very neat and clean food. Hygienic and delicious. Service is little slow. Must try at least once if you love Authentic food. Try prawns egg fry and paneer tikka masala.
First I had only soup , basic tomato soup it was good which made me give 4 star , but I didn't eat anything because I really wanted to eat baby potato fry which I Saw in zomato app and a milkshake honey and almond which also I Saw in zomato menu but these both were not there in real menu , prize I don't mind even if it's difference when taste is worth the prize ... ambience lighting was good , spacious , nice wall design but the smell in restaurant it was lil kind of stale but it can be corrected by automatic room freshener, and pls repair the wall leak , contact a good false ceiling people and plumber nd get it repaired
I have visited the place a couple of times.Good place, well maintained and nice ambience. Food taste is good here and it is value for money.
Found this gem of a restaurant when we were on a shopping spree in Adyar. In spite of passing ‘n’ number of times around the area I had not noticed this restaurant till then. May be something to do with the viewing angle. I had the same concern from inside the restaurant too. The interiors were really good. Even though pulling the heavy chair to sit was quite tough, it was spacious and airy. We sat near the glass window. But from inside we were not able to see the road. I don’t understand the idea of this. When you have such a good location and could see road from inside, why not utilize it. May be there is some reason to it but it beats me.
A Mercedes was parked on the road totally covering the restaurant, may be the owners but because of that I found it tough to park the car. Little care could be taken for the parking. Hopefully they’ll when the crowd gets high. It wasn’t very much crowded when we went so I loved the ambience even more. The waiters weren’t prodding every now and then. We had a lot to discuss so the lazy timelines worked for us. It felt like a proper chettinad café to me.
Coming to the food. We first ordered a Mushroom Fried Rice which was delicious, unlike mushroom which usually is burnt in most of the restaurants, mushroom here was very tasty and wasn’t oily too. Next dish, Vanjaram Tawa Fry was superb too, may be a bit salty but taste was very good. But my family members felt that it was smelly and didn’t taste that fresh. Mutton Biryani tasted really well but rice had become over cooked. Otherwise it could have been a brilliant dish. Pieces were very less too. Finally Mutton Uppukari was the dish of the day, yet. Pieces were succulent and juicy. Quantity was good, spread was presented very well and complemented both fried rice and biryani. Even as a starter it worked perfectly.
Our hunger pangs were still not going down so we ordered Prawn Egg Fry, just OMG. Best Prawn Dish ever, would complement with almost anything. We also ordered Chicken Fried Noodles which was more like an evening snack as it was hard but tasted really well. In all a satisfying pleasant Sunday lunch.

Initially this hotel was with different hands and they have high priced menu for even our own authentic south indian dishes which are nominal in other restaurants! I heard about from the last 6 months it has been handed over to a new hand and menus are revisited with reduced price!
we went as 5 with 3 non-veg and 2 veg, so we ordered varieties in both and here is the take on it!
Soup : sweet corn veg soup(85) for veg and Mutton soup(120).
veg soup is regular one with no complaints. Mutton soup is extra-ordinary. It exactly matches the home style soup we used to get the soaked water after mutton cooked in cooker! One can go for this mutton soup alone if your so carving to have soup alone!
Veg starters:
Mushroom Pepper Fry (150)
Panner Pepper Fry (150)
Both have almost same masala and great in taste. A little less in pepper flavour but that doesnt bother as it tastes good. Quantities are enough for two and you will complete even the gravys after the pieces.
Non-veg Starters:
Chicken Uppu Kari (165)
This is one new dish which is rich in salt but that doesnt damage taste. Chicken is fried here instead of soaked for long hours and keep it raw. It doesnt feel like a raw chicken as they have added their dry masala with more fried curry leaves!
Mutton Chukka (225)
Basically their masala flavour in all dishes is nice so its more taste when they prepare anything on top of it. Mutton is soft but pieces are less!
Dragon Fish (235)
We asked for vanjaram tawa fry but thats not there instead they asked to try this. Fish is not upto the mark, its of more dry and tastes very normal
Main:
Masala kulcha(40), butter naan(40), galic naan (40)
No complaints in the naan and taste decent enough with side dishes
Paneer Butter Masala (150)
This one is very average. Sweet tastes like they added sugar and we reported too to change over in the future.
MFF coconut mutton gravy (260)
Home style mutton gravy. They added pichi potta mutton inside and coconut added flavour to it. Good for naans as well for rice too.
Varutha Meen Kolambu (260)
Authentic meen kolambu with 3 pieces of fish. More onions, more tomato, more sour taste make it to very nice native fish masala. They will be giving rice too along with it. But wrongly they have given basmathi rice for fish and later they told its by mistake and gave another bowl of ordinary rice.
Non veg combo : Chicken biriyani + 65 (199)
Their chicken biriyani is less spicy but flavour of biriyani is too awesome. Very well goes with 65 pieces and enough for one person to have this meal.
Ice cream:
They tried a new company of ice-cream with us as a compliment and tastes too good. we tried mango flavour and we said to fix this for ice-cream
Overall, as the name suggests, its an authentic mom style flavoured restaurant to try our native foods with family. Manager(vignesh) is friendly enough to take all our suggestions and give explanation for all dishes! They are even ready to serve buffet with customised menu if you talk to them in prior.
Will be visiting again to try more items!
Really good one i have ordered biryani here it is very tasty and i got the order very faster but the quantity is little but pieces are more and really tasty
“Don’t judge a book by its cover” suits a lot for this restaurant. Honestly wasn’t appealing from outside, but they got a pretty decent interior. Pleasant and neat. We wanted some good authentic South Indian cuisine, so ended up here.
What we ordered: 1) Special Chicken: Very good. Bite size chicken cubes masala-d perfectly. 2) Fish fry: Well cooked and good. Loved how spicy and hot it was. 3) Steamed rice along with Prawn Gravy: Very good combo but they gravy lacked salt. Still was very good. 4) Chicken Briyani: Lookwise we were a little worried. Thought it won’t taste good, but to our surprise it was very delicious. Pakka home style taste.
For drinks we had a sweet lime and lemon cooler. Nice as well.
I think it’s an underrated place and trust me you’ll love it once you start having your first bite here.
Chicken and mutton biryani is very tasty and hygienic. The rate is very cheap when compared to other high class restaurant in and around adyar.the atmosphere is soo good! Worth the money
Good taste and quick delivery chicken soup and prawn fries are very good taste fried rice is super and the rate is too correct all dish are good..
Had a great time with my friends over here, taste of the briyani and grill chicken was really awesome, i will definetly come back again here, restaurant is located in centre of adayar
Ordered Biriyani which is very good like home made biriyani...
Located exactly in 3rd avenue just right to 11th Lane exit of Indra Nagar, adyar
It’s a fast food option multi cuisine restaurant owned by famous fashion and travel blogger Ayisha and her mom owns this recipe. The interiors were too good and calm. Even the lighting was proper with near decors. Wooden chairs arranged so neatly which could accommodate a maximum of 40 people.
Let me speak about the food:
1) Pepper chicken BBQ half: Tasted so perfect in pepper and other spices. The chicken was burnt properly and marinated with mild pepper which I loved so much here. And as suggested it was one of the best ones here. This could fill all your tummy for 220 bucks and I felt it’s worth it.
2) MFF coconut chicken curry: reading about this from Keerthivasan KA profile I had to try it. Since chicken and coconut makes up a great pair and my mom cooks it at the best even. And to my surprise I felt the same after I tasted it. Loved t to the core and carried it way back home and even my mom said I didn’t cook this for you and she was questioning that we’re I had got this. It was priced at ₹250 and was worth the portion and taste.
The only thing I felt was I would have chosen dosa instead of naan for the curry. Which was my decision and
I even neglect it. But the butter naan was so soft priced at ₹40 each set.
Further reviews on this place will be posted soon after trying there other ones.

Had a glimse of Mom's Food factory, When searching for a budget restaurant in Adyar.
We had a night dine in Mom's food factory last friday.
Ambiance: No car Parking, but having space in road sides to park cars and bikes,
Inner outlet was quite impressive, Since its friday night the place was crowded and noisy
We had Chicken cream soup,
Mutton soup,
French onion soup,
Dragon chicken,
Mutton uppukari,
Prawn pepper fry,
BBQ chicken,
Schezwan chicken fried rice,
Prawn noodles,
Pizza dosa,
Panner dosa,
Garlic dosa,
Chicken kothu,
Egg Kothu
Panner 65
Dragon chicken was the standout dish of the day. Perfectly cooked, awesome texture and excellently served with cashew garnishing.
Mutton Uppukari was bit oily and over chopped
The only negative aspect was time taken for the dishes to arrive...as we have waited almost an hour
Overall: One of the budget friendly restaurants you can try in Adayar
Nice ambience, really lite food without artificial taste makers,..propebly the only place where after havung food i didnt have any burning sensation in my stomach...
Food was good and tasted like a perfect dish. Tired Kerala chicken fry - tasted too good with curry leaves. On a whole everything was not prepared with too much masala or low, it was perfect
I ordered prawn thokku. It is too good. It indeed feels like home food!! It has both tasty and healthy. The prawn was fresh. I ate with plain rice. After a long time in Chennai I got these much good food. will surely reorder.

It was dinner ala carte we have not planned suddenly while crossing to Indra nagar signal we decided to try here
We have ordered first mushroom cream soup, cheese balls, mom's food factory special podi dosa, egg kothu, red snapper and vanilla milk shake with ice cream egg kothu and mom's food factory special podi dosa was excellent must try .
Mom's Food factory is a place where you can experience your mom's foods. This place owners mom is the head chef and prepares her signature serves with her touch in it. Which we can relate with our mom cooking as well.
Durning my visit we had a wide menu with prawns, fish, chicken and mutton dishes. In prawns we had Prawnfry, Prawn thokku in which the prawn was perfectly cooked and it had itss homely touch in it.
Moms special chicken, was a show stealer of the day, in which a gaint leg piece was fried with her signature masala and it is served with a special podi, which adds punch to thai dish.Chicken pallipalayam was an impeccable service which suits the strict indian tastebuds. The pieces of coconut makes a bliss while eating
Vanjaram fry, is one of the best in touch, which completly had a homestyle preparation. It was so yumm with rasam Sadham and Nethili karuvaadu.
Mutton uppukari, was a dry dish, the meat was cooked to perfect and tasted subtle. Gobi65 was only vegetarian serve, it had its own style, but I personally didn't like this serve coz it was more like agopi bajji not 65.
For mains we had mains paratta with Mutton coconut curry which is commonly said as arachivita kuzhambu in our homes. The Paratha went in so well with this gravy.
Chicken biriyani, again an homestlye biryani, so the this may not suit for commercial biryani taste lovers. But it's good version biryani.
Overall, It's a good place to enjoy a home style food with a touch of mom.
Please provide the food with packed fosil cover. Taste is good.
What would be the world best food ? My answer would be MOMs hand made food, mom is the one who can serve food with love, may be that’s the reason why the food tastes excellent all its way. How about having mom’s food in a restaurant?. If your carving for a proper home food this is the must visit place which can give you a heavenly feed with their luscious food. Owners mom is the head chef over here, she has an amazing cooking skills guys, she has her own special recipes for all their dish. You will seriously love their food.
went here for dinner, one of the best place for homemade foods the best part about this place is that Ayisha's (owner) mom is the chef and that's how it goes by their name as moms food factory we can exp[erience the typical home food from this place I tried their mutton soup, mushroom soup, mom's special, prawn thokku, mutton chukka from their starters and chicken biriyani, rasam from their mains for desserts we had brownie with ice cream. The overall experience was pretty good its a must visit place for a home-based food.

Food taste was good but not great. Quantity is slightly less so the price seems high. Service and the staff behavior are good but wait time is too long. Not a bad restaurant but there is a lot of place for improvement.
Good ambience and interior. Service is good and kind.. but the food is little delayed even when it's not crowded much.
Best home food which you can get it in affordable price
Had a great fullfilling nonvegmeals in a authentic south indian flavor , tried their signature uppukari and fish fry. Uppukari I never tasted before anywhere, fishfry masala didn't have any artificial coloring and was cooked well!! You can't askmore for ₹180
Amazing food. Price won't put a hole in your pocket. They take some time to prepare the food though, it's not a con, just a heads up.
IMO Chinese dishes better and class apart from actual Chinese restaurants.
Food is delicious. Worth the money. Nice serving staffs. Only cons, It would be great if we get food sooner once ordered. Seems like taking more time to prepare food.
Super combination of south Indian home food and contemporary interiors..
loved the mutton uppu kari and mom's special chicken. Also the pricing is very moderate.. had a great experience !
Food is good depends on the day..sometimes it ll so delicious, you ll refer to ur friends and plan for a day with your family..on that day, food ll be not good..
Need to improve on the time to serve..tooooo long. Ambience is so good..we ll like instantly
Non veg meals superb like as home made quality and quantity but service ppl should come and check orders once in 5 mins to serve water or gravy otherwise taste is pakka worth for money
