Butter nan is not at all nice. very hard to chew. Rest all the items are nice.
The place serves the best Dal Makhni in the area. The aroma is so pure and you can feel the essence of clove and cardamom in every bite. Unlike other places, they don’t just throw butter in the boiler just like that, the blend is quite good and the texture is pleasant to the mouth.
Good restaurant for take away. have never been a fan of their ambience. But as fas as food goes, they serve authentic North Indian food.
This is the regular place for me to order food. I wish they would pay little more attention to hygiene. For some reason the food prices when ordering through zomato are very high.
Went to this places so many times as it is very near
to my room best is Gulab Ka jamun , Grill chicken and many more as we feels like perfect dhaba items

Went along with friends to this place for lunch on a Thursday. Ordered couple of dishes and my favourite among them were chilli panneer and spicy veg biryani :) haven't tasted some good panneer dish for a long time and this one was relishing. Must must try at their joint. And the biryani was perfectly cooked with extra spicy, I love spicy food hence this one is also in my favourite list at sachin ka dhabba. Ambience was pleasing and not a bad service too. Will never miss thier panneer next time.

Advice to chef - you use almost same kind of gravy in every dishes of chicken and mutton. Please bring some variation.
Good Restaurant but it's a small place only around 20-30 members can be dine at a time.
When for lunch with friends had all types of roties with dragon chicken and mutton gravy . Dragon was really great taste , Mutton was very hard in the gravy !
Roties where good , at last ordered for egg fired rice which was really pathetic . Don't go for any rice items here.

This is one among the authentic north Indian restaurant in mogappair. Butter naan, tandoori chicken & lassi are simply awesome! Don't try their briyani cos they are not good in that. The rating was only for the their food & they failed in all other aspects like ambience, parking etc! But a must try food spot in mogappair!
Have tasted their food over the last few years across locations. Has been a good experience always. On Sunday was lazy to step out so tried their delivery for lunch. Looks like I had already ordered since the guy recognised my number and instantly announced the address. Ordered a tomato soup, butter naan's and butter chicken masala. Sounds mundane for Punjabi order but then was too lazy to even go trough the menu for choice of dishes. Must say delivery was prompt and the packs were neatly sealed and no spilling of the soup and the food was piping hot. Started with the soup which was pretty good and no too heavy. The naan was well done with good portion of butter and not burnt and easy to chew. Butter chicken masala was up to the expectations. Good sized pieces and well balanced masala. Must say the portions were good enough for two. All this at very affordable price. A strong recommend for my end :)
Light on pocket and good on taste. Overall a good place to eat out regularly, however ambience is little lacking. The butter chicken stuffed kulchas and lassi are good here.
Yet another place you would like to visit 2nd for food, 1st for ambiance. Food is a bit on the spicy side but good for a outing once in a blue moon.

Been there a lot of times. Waiters have a problem conversing in Tamil, but not much of a problem. Moderate pricing and the food is good. Try out Aloo Paratha,Paneer Khurchan and Dal tadka.
An isolated place on a busy road. People notice it, but hardly people go in.
The ambiance was of course- dhabba style.

It was good. (I know, this sound booooring, so was my dining experience) .

its difficult to get such a quality north indian food in chennai. sarson ka saag is awesome.i dont know how but it won't be full whenever you go, so waiting is avoided. i experienced that quality of paneer used in hotels in chennai is poor but this one is exception.it may nit be that great but its better than what you get at other places. ambience is decent. and most important thing is HINDI songs in background, which is very rare in chennai...:-P
It's an authentic north Indian food which u can't compare to anything that u r getting in other restaurants over here
As far as the food is concerned,it was delicious.Chilly corn starters were excellent and a main course consisting of -Makhi Ki Roti,Aloo Paratha,Malai Kofta,Aloo Gobi and Peas Pullav was excellent again.The food was filling and the flavours were balanced.
The only negative thing about this place is its location(In a corner in Mogappair) and the ambience.Though one could excuse them for facing power cuts and the fact that the ambience improved after they switched on the AC.
I would probably vote them down on the quality of service and cleanliness.
But the food more than makes up for all of the above.It was one of the best lunches I had had at a Dhabba
