I am really not sure about low rating given for this hotel as per other customers.this is one of my favourite traditional mess in Chennai.People who like authentic south tamilnadu food this is the best place to have good non. Veg lunch.my rating is 4 +All non veg dishes are awesome
Have noticed this place many a time while going back from Anna Nagar towards loyala but never wanted to try them until one day when I had to stop on the next known resto just to silence my howling tummy.
Inside a narrow lane is a 20 seater A/c room which serves basically everything that quotes a mess.
At this time I was ready to hog on anything available so meals was the way to go not Briyani.
Ordered the chicken meals:
And within a flash I was served with a big bowl of thick Chicken kolambu with two big pieces along with rice, too much of awesomness on each mouthful..

The waiter was kind enough to offer me small quantity of extra rice for free but that in no way was gonna help me!
The potato poriyal also was good😊
Too bad I couldn't try their other offerings🙁
Almost all hotels that have DEVAR in their name are too good by far from my experience!

This one is typically southern tamil nadu type mess... where one shouldn't expect ambience and service.....Let's get to the point.. to my surprise food was awesome and tasty.. but it's typical southern type food... non veg meals and fry items are specialities.. should try their fry items.. value for money.. it's small place despite they have Ac room...
If you are looking to taste good food with low price, this is the best place. I had bought veg meals, mutton chukka, kolla urunde and prawns. The taste was good and total price is Rs. 595.
For veg meals it cost Rs. 70
If you are looking for good ambience and atmosphere, this is not the right place.
If you're priority is ambience get a takeway and enjoy the takeway at home.
Very good place to have a tummy full of food at very very low cost. They provide Buffet dinner which is unlimited at a cost of only ₹50. Must try all dishes. More than worth for the price. Recommended for hostellers, bachelors, working community amd everyone who craves for good food at lpw cost

Buffet tiffen item is average.. worth for 50 rupees unlimited food. All dish good taste with reasonable price. i like pepper chicken.
Guys this is not a luxury restaurant... This is a mess concept hotel so Don't expect ambience an service. But quality is good,For 50Rs you will get unlimited buffet dinner... I can see here bachelors more here.. very very useful for them lowest cost with Tommy full of good food.

The people running this place are kind-hearted. Budget buffet with unlimited tiffin items and you need to pay only for additional side dish like chicken fry and omlette etc. You can all you want for 50rs. I ate there yesterday night, food was good. I felt like eating at home.
The unlimited Tiffin is worth for the Rs50 that we pay. It is advisable to go early, or else the sides might not be available after 9pm.
Other dishes are average.
Unlimited buffet is given at 50/- but Quality is impressive not compromised. Though ambience is simple but still visitable with family.

Went there around 7.30 pm
Rs.50/- unlimited dinner with chapati dosa idly parotta idiyappam sambar gravies free. Chicken mutton prawn side dish available at extra cost.
Decent taste, friendly and smiley people.
Overall good experience.
Can go with friends and family.
Unlimited Dinner Buffet really worth the price , Chicken Kari Dosa is good.
