Sri Kasturi sweets is my favorite sweet shop in Chennai, they provide good quality sweets at affordable cost. Their quality is top notch, we buy 250 grams sweet box every week from them along with potato chips and other savories. Ghee sweets are so yum that you cannot resist eating one. My entire family is a huge fan for their kaaju and kesar sweets. Bengali sweets are so reasonable and their quality is unbeatable. Must try each and every sweet and savories from them.
My all time favorite here is delicious Laddu (At least for last 11 years). You will become Chotta Beam and keep on eating these Laddus :P

Has tried their rasmalai and kesari peda....good in taste....may not as good as many famous sweet shops in chennai but very decent knowing the fact that there are very few sweets shops which are good in saidapet
The odd thing about this place is, I've never visited this place even once nor have I even seen it in its glory too, then how the hell can I rate it at 4*, well here my side of the story.
My peripa perima live nearby to this place and they are like the regulars to this place for ages, and whenever I visit them or whenever its festival time I get a box full of mothi ladoos and a big packet of mixture all alone for me and all along from then the love for this place has increased.
So wheres the review you ask!

I was on the way to my relatives house near Vellore so thought of packing sweets from some new shop, instead of buying from the same old shops. Went to this place as it was just near Saidapet Railway Station, packed Mixed Milk Sweets ½ kg, Bengali Sweets ¼ kg and Bombay Mixture.
All the sweets tasted good and the mixture taste was excellent.

One of the best and my go to place for sweets in Saidapet. They have a wide varieties of sweets. Rightly priced for its quality. Sweets are neatly arranged keeping mantharai leaves in between layers which was very nice. This outlet is FSSAI RUCO (Repurpose used cooking oil) compliant.
Their service quality should be improved. It will take time to get the sweets billed and to pay the bill. Sometimes I asked for basundhi, rasmalai etc, but I was told it was not there but I could see it right in front of me. They were telling there wasn’t enough malai. I do not know the reason why they are saying so. I just felt may be I only experienced this but sometimes I noticed other people were facing similar issue. This is a strange phenomenon I couldn’t understand.
Their policy of not accepting UPI or card payments for below 200 Rupees bill amount is not acceptable at all. I hope management will look into it at the earliest.
One of the best sweet shops you can get in and around Saidapet. Good quality but the price is a little high. But have to pay the price for the quality and taste. Highly Recommended!

It's a sweet stall in Saidapet near Saidapet Market. Tasty sweet and snacks. But this place is small. No parking facility.

A hidden gem with a large variety of sweets. Loved their atta laddu and panjeri laddu. Cashew pagoda is awesome too.
