One among the biggest malls in chennai with a lots of national and international brand stores. The shop finders work properly and is a very big help for the people. Funcity is renovated and has been opened recently. The parking space is also quite large. Depending on the festive season, the decorations within the mall also changes.

I've been to Phoenix Market City many times before, but my latest visit with my friend was a fantastic experience. This is the biggest mall in Chennai for now. All of the Adult, Kids, and Children games are quite reasonably priced. You have a lot of eating options. The staff is helpful in instructing the players during the games. Both children and adults will have a great time and will be unaware of the passage of time. You can even plan a movie once you've finished playing some games, or vice versa and you've a lot of shops there for shopping. A Must-See in Chennai Velachery for Spending Super Awesome time with Family and Friends. You have a lot of parking space for 2 & 4 wheelers.

Located in Velachery, the Phoenix Market City mall is a good shopping destination and only second to EA mall. It beats City Center by sheer size and number of stores, so it's a non comparison.
For the shoppers, most of the recognizable clothing brands, electronic stores and hyper-retail stores like Pantaloons and LifeStyle offer a good experience. During the "Sale" period, it's quite easy to quickly move about, compare prices and shop.
For the cinema-goers, the Luxe multiplex offers the appropriate fare(s) in a swanky set-up. An IMAX is in the waiting, only stalled by the govt.s strict INR 120 pricing rule for tickets.
For the foodie, there are options ranging from Indian to Chinese, South African to European and South Indian (specifically for the idli eaters) to the food-court cocktail of shops. The food court is always crowded and it is difficult to get a place to sit - especially if you have a family with small kids.
There is a games & recreation area for kids - I didn't venture there. There is also a haunted house walk and snow-walk area. A bowling alley would have been a great addition to this mall.
The lift/elevators are adequate and the bathroom facilities are neat.
There is a lot of space for parking and going after noon on a weekend will find you driving up a lot of levels to find a spot. The fees are exorbitant - Rs 30(Mon-Fri)/ Rs. 40 for the first hour and Rs. 30 thereof for each hour. So an Indian movie, lunch and shopping time will set you back by nearly Rs 200 on a weekend. (In Cochin, the Lulu mall allows the visitor to park a vehicle for free for the first two hours.)
Good place if you plan to do something - if you are window shopping, then stay at home and browse Amazon.in or Flipkart.

And finally as usual as almost other malls in chennai, be aware of the parking charges before you spend time here.
This is by far one of the better malls in Chennai. I love the way they have displayed the mall directory everywhere and it is very easy to locate a store here. It is well-maintained and has lots of food options, with great spots on each floor. I wish they had some fun stalls with cute stuff like other malls do.
