This is one of my fav restaurant in chennai. Our fav spot for meet ups. Drooling shake is great, then we had mac and cheese pasta, red velvet shake, one of my fav item was chocolate Samosa π ambience will be great at it represents travel.. Foods here are pocket friendly and yea... will be visiting this place again..!

I usually feel overwhelmed while I cross this bakery cuisine restaurant perhaps, now it is the second time I've been to coco jaunt. As we entered inside the dine-in room, the room was filled with mild air conditioner. The ambience was pretty much good but it had quite dim light so the photos taken there will not seem to be so bright & colorful. As we were two people we used zomato gold account. The preparation of food was quite slow then came the ordered peri peri chicken which tempted me to taste. The peri peri chicken exceeded chilli powder that made the dish spicy. Nevertheless, as I took a piece of chicken, I dipped it over the mustard sauce so the seasoning wasn't any greater and so the chicken tasted yummy. Then came my favourite sizzling brownie. It was dazzling to have a sight over the sizzling dessert. Since it was my first time to have sizzling brownie I just took a spoonful of sizzling chocolate and had it over tongue ughhh how hot was that? Right away I had a spoon over the scoop of icecream. The chocolate sauce which was poured above the brownie was heavy. Overall I suggest cocojaunt as an average bakery cuisined restaurant.

My favourite dishes are - peri peri chicken popcorn, mac and cheese balls, alfredo pasta, the mocktails. Everything tastes good in this place. Very cheap and affordable. The peri peri sauce that they provide will be so good. PLEASE GO.
Good food. Peri Peri chicken sandwich was amazing. Served hot food is what I liked the most! Could have more options on milkshakes. A good place to chill with friends
Loved this place!! Great food for the price. Quantity is also great when compared to most places. We ordered their Indi route pizza, Kadai-ed away burger, spinach and corn and grilled mushroom sandwiches. All of them tasted great especially the burger.Β Their beverages are good too.

Humongous burgers for junk food lovers, a burger to an extinct level. Serving many other than burgers are many. They have a tall burger which costs 760 (included GST). Stomach filling burgers & chickens. Desserts was just appealing & appetising to eat, CheeseCake was too tummy
I love this outlet a lot and it's my favourite place for Peri-Peri fries. Each time I visit, I will have peri pesu fries without fail. Ambience was good and clean. Staffs were friendly in nature.

I had found this place through a friend. I had heard a lot about the peri peri fries and had to try them and they really are one of the best in Chennai.
Shakes are really good. We had ordered the Oreo shake and the Irish caramel. Both of them were really good. Just the right amount of thickness and the right taste.
Butter chicken bunny chow. This was probably the only dish that wasn't amazing. It was good is all. The butter chicken doesn't taste all that great and it's just bun and butter chicken. The coleslaw was good though.
The steak with makhani curry was also really good. Although they don't ask for a preference of the type of temperament. It is medium done which tastes really juicy.
To top it all of I had wanted to have the red velvet jar as dessert but was too full. Everything is really filling. So I had it after getting home and it is really good. They use cream cheese like the actual red velvet.
All in all it is one of the best cafΓ©s in Chennai and you really can't go wrong with what you choose. I was told that they still have a lot more items to add in the menu. So maybe ask them for what's not on the menu and give them a try.
Came here with a group of friends and we used 2 Zomato Golds. That gave us a license to hog all we wanted :P
Whatever fish you order at Coco Jaunt, you can't really go wrong with any of them. Everything tastes great!
For Starters we ordered Mac & cheese balls and Peri Peri Fries. Great presentation, good quantity and even better taste!
For Main Course, we ordered a Non Veg Club Sandwich, Wai Wai Chicken, What a bomb and Kadai-Ed away
Each burger tasted really nice with well cooked patties.

Was an amazing experience. The ambience is so in tune with youngster minds. Seating is bit of a problem. Interior is charming. Overall a good place for a snack. But I wont recommend Bunny Chow.
Nice burgers, nice mains, like the popcorn chicken. Liked the hospitality of the staff as well. Its difficult to find some good non south Indian restaurants in Chennai. Though it's been a very short time that I've moved here (so let's not get judgemental)
The most amazing item is the foot tall burger. Can't wait to get back again.

The service for the specials is a little slow but, it is worth the wait!
Loved their ambience and simple menu. The quantity is good and the food is very tasty. Staff are polite and they serve food within a nominal wait time. It's tucked in Cenatoph Lane, parking for four-wheelers might be a problem. Perfect for a simple lunch or high-tea.
I tried their Paneer Bunny Chow, Blueberry Waffle, Cheesy Nachos and Thai curry soupy noodles. Waffles could have been a bit soft, the blueberries were done well. Bunny chow was excellent. Soupy noodles - was a bit sour. Otherwise, good. Great quantity for that price.

One of the coolest place to have your Sunday brunch. Bunny chow is a must try. Perfect ambiance. They serve a variety of food , although I couldnβt recommend their fries ( as they were too spicy) you can still give it a try.
Loved the home delivery of their bunny chow, The right level of spice and flavor . Tried the paneer version ; looking forward to try the .chicken version as well
A nice place to hang out with the dessert freak in you...service was pleasant... waffles we ordered were so yummy...not soggy nor very crispy..tres leche was not creamy as it is supposed to be... itseems they changed it based on popular request... would like to go there again

This cafe serves desserts as well as savoury items, we tried only the desserts because it is basically a dessert parlour and we did not wish to experiment and also because we were full after a heavy meal elsewhere and had place only for dessert. The staff was a little slow but that could be because they had to prepare a fresh batch of waffles for our order only downside was they could not guide us well with the take-aways!Β
Waffles:
Blueberry & Cream the waffles were just perfect, crisp and crunchy from the outside and the blueberry jam compote was more of a jam then a compote but nevertheless it complimented the waffles very well.Β
Rose Milk this was a choice made by my friend as I am personally not a Rose flavour fan but surprisingly it was great, the rose essence was mild and the waffles soaked in the milk to enhance the flavour, loved it.
Red Velvet Muffin caught my attention and after gobbling down the waffles there was no space left so it automatically was a part of my take away and it seemed to be a little too dry; I heated it before consumption and it was so dry it started falling apart by the time we reached home and could consume it. We were told by the staff it would last for 2-3 days but it seemed to have gone way past it's shelf life at the time of my take away itself! Such a shame!
Red Velvet Jar again the same story with the red velvet portion the cream layers were alright if only we had refrained from purchasing these two items the waffles itself were great clearly worth 5 for desserts but considering the take aways the reduced rating.
I ordered two cakes for a birthday party and both the cakes were perfect. I ordered nutty butterscotch but they gave me chocolate truffle which costs more than this. This is the only regret. Tresleche cake was yum, it just melts in the mouth.
Great place for great shakes. They offer free WiFi. You can sit as long as you want and you will still be greeted with a smile. For the book worms they have a small collection of books.

We have already been to Coco Jaunt 1728, Anna Nagar East branch and this branch outperforms the other. The service is excellent, the taste of the food is awesome. We had paneer makhani poutine, chicken butter masala poutine, mac and cheese balls (ordered twice) ,margarita pizza, brownie buttons, and sizzling hot brownie. Amazing service, amazing food, and amazing ambiance. Must visit place for you all foodies out there.
We've already eaten in CocoJaunt once, but in Anna Nagar branch. This one had the same ambience and taste.

1. Mac & Cheese Balls (Best of its kind I've ever tasted!)
2. Margeritta Pizza (The best ever Margeritta I've eaten in Chennai so far!)

(Both taste more like Butter chicken / Butter paneer sauced over french fries. But tastes good!)
Desserts are not their type we feel. Both Brownie points and sizzling brownie with ice cream weren't quite ok.
Feedback to the restaurant:
1. The chocolate sauce used ,seems to ruin the dessert. Better, if the management works on it, sooner.
2. We ordered Mac & cheese balls for seconds and found the core frozen still. We complained and they've replaced with a fresh set with hot cores.
Kindly make sure it doesn't happen next time. You won't want your signature dishes to be review bad in future. π

Small place with uncomfortable seats and not very bright interiors providing yum food at comparatively reasonable prices.
We had ordered Greek Salad, French fries,Masala fries,Chilli Cheese fries,Chunky Pasta and Creamy Pasta.
Greek Salad and both the pastas were served with a side of garlic bread.
Chilli Cheese fries were served with regular Mayo.
Masala fries were served with piri piri mayo.
Regular french fries had no accompaniment.
Masala fries and Chunky tomato pasta were the standouts.
Chunky tomato pasta was made vegan upon our request (or it already is,not sure) it was yum when served hot.
Masala fries were so addicting it went well with the regular mayo. I wanted to have more of it as much as I wanted to stop and take a break from the heat.
The red velvet muffin was very bad.Dont go for it.
The over all feeling was soft and nice sitting in a quiet corner with friends after an almost tiring week and talking nothing and enjoying the rain was good.

I think they had the perfect name for this shake. The few mins you spend on drinking this will take you out of this world. The shake was blended perfectly with crumbled cookies. They had their own cookies apart from the mainstream oreo cookies. It is served with whipped cream and decorated with oreo to make it look stunning.

Coco Jaunt 1728 never fails to impress me. Such is the quality of the food and service there although the desserts and beverage part of the menu has taken a serious hit.
Yes, the menu has been revamped over the past few months and the new menu has a lot of options that many Coco Jaunt fans wanted.
Our orders :-
Paneer Makhani Fries - A welcome change to the tried and tested peri peri fries. Makhani Sauce was scrumptious along with the portion of cheese.
Paneer Curry Bunny Chow - it's very rare to find places serving Bunny Chow in Chennai. Luckily Coco Jaunt is one of them. My first try of the Bunny Chow and I was certainly impressed by this South African Concept. Not sure as to how original the receipe was but definitely worth it if you are bored of the pizzas pastas and wraps.
Peri peri spiced paneer wrap - A visit to coco jaunt is incomplete if this isn't there in your orders. Best Veg Wrap at Coco Jaunt by a country mile.
Inde Route - Thin crust pizza with maximum cheese pull. Seems expensive for the size and best advised to get yourself a large pizza instead of a medium one.
Tresleche - Milk Halwa just got a Latin clone. 3 types of milk oozed in the cake.
Blueberry Cheesecake - A little less soft for liking.
Cake shake - Regret trying a Red Velvet based shake after being let down so many times elsewhere.
The total bill was βΉ1270. Another evening well spent at Coco Jaunt 1728.

This small shop has some really amazing food and shakes. Peri peri fries were really good. Didn't like the bunny chow much but the rice and chicken was pretty good. The Oreo shake was also really good! The red velvet jar had real cream cheese rather just vanilla cream also. A little on the expensive side but they have a huge variety
Nice place and ambience in a nearly calm atmosphere. Dropped my kids for a group party. They really enjoyed the French fries, Pasta and Veg Pizza for Lunch. Had to park my car on the side road.

As being a travel fan myself, I loved their compact ambiance with quotes on travel, books and world maps. So on one of the questionnaire, I was informed that their love for Coco and Jaunt (trips) made them come up with this name which was itself during one of their travel and that too exactly at 17:28. Hence COCO JAUNT 1728 was born as a travel themed bakery + cafe..!

Even though they took a lot of time to get the food, the chicken and the veg main course were really tasty. The brownie's taste did not quite match up to how it looked since it was a little burnt. Overall, a small and nice place with nice food.

Really good food. It looks like a fancy bakery which later decided to serve more than just cakes and biscuits. Not much of a seating space available but what they have works. The desserts and fries are excellent. Pizzas are all thin crust and taste good, if not a bit different(I had one with garlic and spinach) and are worth the price. All in all a pretty decent place to grab a few bites. Service was very very slow despite only 2 tables being there. But that happened on the only time I went there so I hope its a permanent thing.
