I ordered a truffle cake from this outlet, they called me and told that it can be delivered but they told they'll make a fresh one and can only give it by evening and I said okay. But when it was delivered, without any doubt I would it was the best and fresh one !! Tbh I was not sure how it would be as it was the first time here. But the cake gave me the answer.

I think we made the best ever decision to chose Cake Square to deliver our twin kids' (boy-girl) 1st B'Day Cake considering the (bad) experiences our friends had in the past with other cake shops in Chennai. Couple of our friends recommended Cake Square and we decided to go there and check if they could bake a good cake for us. Initially we had so many thoughts on the flavor and the design of the cake. However, we let Cake Square suggest us 2 good flavors and they showed us a lot of Twin B'Day Cake Designs from their catalog. Ironically, we chose the one which we initially picked during our "research" but eventually forgot about it. It was a simple design but was really good, apt for a Boy-Girl Twin! They suggested us to go with Strawberry and Butter Scotch and we agreed it. We were really anxious about the outcome and kept our fingers crossed. However Cake Square did not disappoint us. Though they made slight changes to the design we chose, they had valid reasons for the change and they baked the cake so well!! The appearance, texture, taste was so awesome that the guests started enquiring us about Cake Square! Thank you, Cake Square! You guys made our kids' birthday memorable. I'll surely recommend our friends to have their kids' birthday cakes to be baked @ Cake Square!
The T nagar cake square shop is a good place to have cakes. It's not that big but it serves decent designer cakes. I am a huge fan of Cake Square today.
Been to this outlet. Had chocolate ferrero cake and veg puff. The presentation were good and served at perfect temperature. The cake was very good in taste. Had a nice time.

This is an amazing outlet if you are looking for a customized cakes. There is somebody called Dinesh whom you can contact and will help you till the cake is delivered.

I had a nearbuy coupon for a 1kg vanilla cake at any outlet of Cake Square in Chennai and I decided to use it in the T.Nagar branch for my grandma's birthday.
Placed an order only 3-4 hours prior to the pick-up time and still got it done.
The cake was extremely palatable and delicious. My entire family loved it and everyone who had the cake left me asking the details of the outlet wherein I had purchased this wonderful piece of art.

They made some of the yummiest cakes we have had for the birthdays of my family members. The recent one being a chocolate butterscotch cake. It was exactly how I had asked them to make and tasted very yummy. A little on the higher side though but when it is for a special someone money doesn't matter anyway!!!
Cakes are so delicious and soft especially choco almond.. Even other flavours are good and delivery is done within time frame. Cake cost also reasonable only.

Cake square is a simple shop. Their menu has not much variety. Yet, I loved their cakes and snacks.
Plus:
** Good service, ambiance. Have space to sit down and eat.
** Great cakes. They are smooth, tasty and wet. Especially, those with choco creams. Yummy!
** Their snacks like puffs, Tikkas are good.
** Not so expensive. A piece of cake comes around ₹50 and puffs n snacks begin from ₹20.
Minus:
** Lacks variety. Not much is offered on a normal day.
** Avoid their cup cakes.
Favourite: Chocolate Truffles.

CAKE SQUARE - Be There Or Be Square!!
First Footsteps – Cake Square is a tiny little store tucked into a corner of one of the busiest streets in T. Nagar. Parking is available, though sometimes it’s a little hard to get into. At first glance you would think the store is nothing special, except for the fact that their signboard seems very well designed... and catchy. A promise of things to come?
Meeting the Menu – Cake Square offers the usual with a bit of a twist, and then throws in a few surprises along the way. Their standard cakes are much creamier, keeping the usual sponge to a minimum, but they magically ensure that the cakes are not too sweet; the flavours are mild and pleasant. They also are free from any artificial syrupy aftertaste.
The menu has a few items tucked in that are unique to the store - like Rainbow cake and coconut pie.
The Steward and his Service – The staff are quick and attentive. They were also able to explain all my questions about the cakes themselves.
Settling in your sofa – This location was not really designed as a dine in. It’s a little too cramped for that, and my advice would be to grab your delicious cake and eat it in the comfort of your own home.
Finally the Food! – Cake Square is very, very good. As I said before, their cakes are creamy but absolutely delicious. I sampled their Choco Almond cake, which is one of my favourites. The crunchy almond bits off set the smooth chocolatey taste of the cake beautifully. Their brownie is very tasty, and all three layers - the molten top, the chewy nutty center and the crispy bottom - were well done. The other fun thing to eat that I ordered was the coconut pie. It was absolutely delightful! It was a mix of caramel and coconut on a biscuit base and it was definitely unique. It was a change from the mundane and for people who like those flavours, this is worth trying. In most bakeries I would avoid the brightly coloured cakes, because they would either be sickeningly sweet or carry a terrible aftertaste, but Cake square has got their magic sauce right and I have not encountered any of those problems here yet - I would encourage you to follow your hearts desire. I haven’t had an occasion to order one of their larger cakes, but word of mouth states they are great and midnight delivery is an added bonus.
Paying the Piper – Cake Square is reasonably priced, and though their portions are a bit small, their high quality makes them good value for money.
BOTTOM LINE- Consistent, Distinctive and pleasing, Cake Square’s smooth, creamy pastries promise to be a treat for your tastebuds.
PS - There are vegetarians, eggetarians, non vegetarians, and finally, strange people who roam the city in an endless search for good cake. I'm afraid I belong to the last category, so don't ask me how the food was, I didn't eat there!
Cake tastes pretty good. Design is very perfect just as mention as in their website. Very much satisfied with the cake decoration. But delivery is late by more than an hour.
Wanted a customized 'car' cake for my son's 2nd birthday, the shop manager suggested an image from Google and was able to replicate it pretty must spot on, with additional touches like '02' and my son's initials on the car. The cake itself was tasty too, would highly recommend for any sort of customized cakes 👍
