An average vegetarian hotel. Have had fried rice (veg, paneer,gobi), chilly babycorn, gobi manchurian, dosa variyies, chilly parotta, meals. All re good n reasonably priced. U ve both a/c and non a/c choice!! Good fr unplanned hunger visits!!!

I am a regular customer here, service here is best, this place has best quality food in the locality, if you are looking for typical south Indian recipes like idly, pongal, poori, vadai, sambar rice etc.. This place is really good for that.
They also serve naan, roti, and other north Indian cuisine which may not be up to the mark but still decent.
Had rawa masala dosa just for 65 rs. it was awesome and economical. Place is very hygienic. Service was good. I would like to go again to try some other stuff
Not a bit changed in quality and taste. Excellent taste. Icecream is the top as always! It’s only a rumour that it has changed in taste and quality. But extremely satisfactory. None of the new restaurants can come near to the ratate. Most happy to see our state faces in the team and they understand our mentality !
Don’t believe in rumours - just get in and enjoy, treat your taste buds. Honestly I felt no taste of any artificial flavours.
Mushroom friend rice and gobi 65 are mesmerising.
Lost it's charm. Yesterday had Mysore bonda and coffee from there. Sambar was not good. Few years back I used to crave for their sambar. Tried parcel meals also okay only not that great.Bonda (2 pcs ) 76 and one small glass coffee 42 total 125 Rs I paid
Hence am not well my only food option is idiyappam so every day am trying in different hotels today at saravana Bhavan I should say it’s osum must try dish

It was a pleasant experience, but the staff were reluctant to answer my queries regarding the thali, they were providing contradictory answers- one server told me all thali items were unlimited while upon asking another server told me they were not. So, if you're ordering a thali do make sure to clearly ask which items are limited in quantity and which are unlimited for you.
As for the quality, without a doubt this is up there with some of the best veg food I've eaten. I went all in and took 3/4 refills for the sambar, kurma, and papad- they were the stars of the show. The vadai given was just one but it was lip- smacking delicious. Overall, would recommend 100% for quality but will also mention for visitors to have some prior knowledge of the menu and place so you know what you're eating and what to expect.
After very long time visiting Saravana Bhavan...had multiple bitter experience off late.....so was little skeptical... But surprisingly today it was very very good... especially this branch next to Anna nagar metro is classy... Both in ambience and taste.... Had popular ghee pongal vada, Appam veg stew & Ghee roast.... Everything was so good... No compromise on quality / quantity. Appreciate their move to bring back their original class... Wish they continue the same way.... Final touch filter coffee also was very good n strong...
This is my second time visiting here. The food is excellent both times. They have quicky service. The location is very convenient and the layout is open and comfortable. The handwash area is quite clean, modern and appreciated. I like their combos, they have a combo of mini idli, mini dosa, which means I don't have to choose but can have best of both worlds... on top it all, the portion was perfect for one person. Their lassi is also recommended.
Hotel is located to anna nagar tower metro station The tase of the food is good had mini tiffen consist of Mini sambar idli,Pongal,Masal dosa,Vada served with two chutney and sambar premises was kept neat and clean also they sell sweets & savouries
One of the few restaurants of Saravana Bhavan which is in thrumangalam provides quality food, good ambience, very fast service. Most importantly they maintain the traditional taste of the sambar and other foods they have been serving since decades. Sorry 😉 unfortunately I missed taking pictures of food. This is one of my frequently visiting places during morning for having break or/ coffee, after dropping my son in school😜😃
Easily my first go to option for South Indian comfort food. Perfect on the taste and easy on the tummy.

I went after a long time to this restaurant with my wife.. not sure how the taste will be..but surprisingly all the items are good and delivered...
Good quality food and good ambience hotel with 4 floors at Anna Nagar.
Very spacious First floor of 60+ dinning.
Second floor A/C hall for function or dinning of 100+.
Ground floor for sweets, Chats and buffet.
Idly, Gee Pongal are special here.
Staff's service is good.
Choice of items by noon is very limited. The service is not good. Even to take orders it took more than 15 minutes. The ambience is very good.
