Amazing Tamil Nadu style non vegetarian food along with excellent service by Ms. Ambika and Mr. Suresh. Do try their meals which comes with 6 different non veg gravies and with a non veg side dish of your choice. We tried ‘Kavuni arisi and karupatti halwa’ which just melted in the mouth. This place is a must visit in Tnagar.

The food taste is fabulous. Non-Veg, curries and Thokku served were mouthwatering. All the side dishes taste wonderful. We had non-veg meals, I like the choices of non-veg with the meals, you can choose Mutton, chicken or Fish. Nethily fry bothered me. Nethily size, it was too big, so it misses the crunchiness. Highly recommend South Tamilnadu restaurant. Traditional style interior, village lifestyle painting all over the wall. Clay dolls in the showcase resemble the Tamilnadu culture. But some people will feel the dining area is a bit suffocating, due to the multiple small rooms. Responsive service. Parking should be on the roadside. Which is give or take.

Nice place to have banana leaf rice. Unlimited refill and the portion is reasonable too. Price is also affordable. One good thing I found is that there are a lot of variety curry to choose from. Special one would be the crab and mutton.

Went here for Lunch. The place was very busy. We had non veg meals, chicken biryani, kola urundai, nattu kozhi and chicken omelette. The food was simply great. Non veg meals was very nice. And all the other dishes was also very good. The service by the staff was prompt and good. Parking is a challenge if you go by car. But they have a valet driver. Will definitely visit again.

The food here was amazing. It was my second time here and the quality and taste of the food is still top notch. The have a very good variety of food to offer. Don’t forget to try their karuvadu thokku! So goooood. Their staff were so attentive and friendly. They were constantly bringing us rice, rasam and different types of curry. We truly enjoyed our food. It was a good amount of spicy. Truly authentic mess food

Tried this restaurant in t nagar. I had the mutton briyani, fish fry , prawns gravy and mutton omelette. All of their dishes are tasty and soothing to the taste buds, a bit on the chillier side I would say. The best of all is the fish fry which was an absolute delicacy and a must try. Overall a very good restaurant to try again.

Mutton biriyani: tender mutton pieces were provided. Rice was less in quantity. I liked it. Prawn sukka: Nothing to boast about. Fish fry: completely loved it. The masala they use is so good that you’ll fall in love with the first bite you take. If you eat more, prefer meals as unlimited rice is provided along with it. Taking one star for the poorly maintained washroom.

I i had gone there with my family of four. Was suggested by our drive to be there latest by 12pm before the lunch hour crowd sets in on working day! There weren’t many people at 11.55am. The waiters were very friendly and explained the menu suggesting what we should have since it was our first time. We had meals, but were given the choice of protein and the style. Some I could remember were Nattukozhi meals, Mutton Kola, Mutton Sukka, Chetrinad Chicken, Fish fry, Prawn Sukka. So basically, you will be served rice on banana leaf and you will get a plate of your protein, BUT they will let you try 7 different type of curries/gravy with your rice. There was Nethili(anchovy) curry, Crab curry, mutton curry, chicken curry, fish curry, prawn gravy and etc. Everything on all our plates were FANTASTIC! The spices and grounded and roasted by themselves and cooked in claypots the Indian traditional way. Highly recommended place to try!

As usual like other outlet this was also too good. More than their food. The service was totally good. They treat like some close people to them. It was so rush on weekend, no prebooking is available yet you must try.

We went for our lunch on a Saturday.. They were full, but people kept moving in and out, plus they handled the crowd well. Coming to food, it was yum max, felt like home cooked fresh food.. 🥹😍 Service was prompt with friendly staff. They were kind enough to refill our dishes often, water bottles were complimentary, rasam 💯🤤.. Overall it was a worth it experience. Surely recommended.
