This has been a regular hang out spot for me for the past 2 years. I love this place for its fried nachos and BBQ chicken wings. Am yet to taste something better than those wings. Also the prices are very much reasonable.
Yesterday I ordered in online the food taste was soooooooooo good and they deliver within an hour and quantity was low but cost is worth for taste try to increase the quantity...................
After a walk in the beach this is the food joint we entered in the evening. The hospitality is bad with very few staffs attending you. No one even serves water if not asked. The food is overpriced but delicious. Ambience is kind of cute. :) Once try.
Amazing place to have sandwiches or burger's

The whole of Besant beach was full, all roads blocked, but this place was alone empty, nice and pleasant ambience, tables were in good shape and colour, all made of wood, just felt the stools were little small and needed a back rest very badly 😓

Chicken grilled burger meal : burger was too good with correct amount of sauce and veggies inside, they have a special recipe and it's their own sauce which is 😊 good
Nonveg hotdog meal 🥘 : hotdog is very hard to eat and the sausage was small when compared to the bread
Alfredo chicken pasta: pasta 🍝 bought from shops, recipe in their own style, the Normal curled pastas which were decent enough
Chicken NACHOS: chapatis being cut into diamond shapes and fried--- they are trying new things, which sometimes goes good but sometimes not 🤥
CHEESE TOAST : normal bread 🍞 spread with cheese and green chilles on the top: tasted decent
GREEN APPLE MOJITO: one of the best mojitos ever tasted, correct amount of ice and liquid content
FRENCH FRIES 🍟: not so crispy enough but was served hot
Decent place to visit, good atmosphere just oppo to the church or next to Health and glow

Tasty wraps with a can of coke would definitely be your best buddy to take a stroll with in the Elliot's beach and harrys doesn't disappoint. Quick service and decent pricing. Small place to sit and dine. Ambience is peaceful with the odd sea breeze brushing your face!

My first order in Zomato and totally satisfied with the experience. Received 15℅ off as restaurant promo and 10% through BROKE code. Received the order in 40-50 minutes with contents packed well. Warmth and aroma were preserved well.
Chicken Alfredo and Veg Alfredo pastas were good and tasted well, but a little dry. Paneer tacos were the best with crispy taco and hot and soft paneer stuffings inside. Veggie Mexican wrap was also good. Veg nachos too didn't disappoint. Mini chicken wrap was more like micro chicken wrap, but was nevertheless cheesy, crispy and delicious.
Total cost for 3 came to 650 rupees after all discounts and delivery charges - Very good value for money

A go to restaurant for some nice food for poor hostelers like me during month end.
Ordered lunch here. The order arrived well within time. And the packaging was decent. Not much complaints. Thankfully we found this place to get food delivered.
Among the various dishes we ordered, the one that stood out for me was Beef Toastie. A normal sandwich with lot of beef meat stuffing and good amount of cheese. The best stomach-filling dish, I believe. And the taste was also very nice. Veg Roast Wrap and Mini Chicken wrap were amazing, too. Rest of the dishes like Alfredo Chicken Penne, Veg Roast Nachos, Tacos, etc., were also decent.
You got to give it to the very good VFM this place offers.
Visited Harry's wrap and roll yesterday. I should say it didn't disappoint us much. We ordered a beef burrito, a Bondii burger, and a pink lemonade. Burrito was so yum, and the burger was good too. Pink lemonade was decent enough too. Good value for money!
Visited this place one fine evening during our numerous visits to Bessy. This place was long on my 'to-try' place as I used to see the board whilst driving past it each time.
Decent ambience which gives the feel of a neat and hygienic place. It works on the basis of self-service and I must say that the food was brilliant here. I tried only the Mexican cuisine during this visit. Ordered a bean quesadilla, Chicken Jamaican wrap and a pink lemonade. Yes, it was pink in colour and didn't really taste like the authentic or traditional lemonade but whatever it was, it tasted good.
The bean quesadillas were brilliant and the Chicken wrap was good too.
They also gave us a couple of Veg nachos as complimentary for our trial, which were quite infused with aromatic and mouthwatering flavours.
Overall it's a nice and pocket-friendly place, located close to beach. A good place to drop into for some quick bites.

Ordered online.. Delivered on time... U should try the fried Oreos ... Quesadilla wasn't all that bad.. All the items were hot and fresh.. The nachos got a bit soggy .. But I'll forgive them that.. The place is worth a try..
I was in beasant nagar and i wanted to try the mexican here since long. Fortunately for me there was no crowd. I ordered quesadilas and a pink lime (yes pink). The order took some 15mins. The chicken quesadilas were YUMM, not bit of disappointment. Will try the other stuff on the menu soon.

Stumbled upon Harry's Wrap and Roll yesterday on my visit to Besant Nagar...Though this place was on my wishlist for a long time i completely forgot about it...so when i crossed this place yesterday i did not leave in for later as i was sure i wont get a chance anytime soon...The outlet is located near the Murugan idli kadai...this is the place where donut house operated earlier....the parking is roadside and minimalistic....
The Ambiance was good...Tables to seat around 30ppl but the stools instead on chairs...for those who wanna spend some time forget it...it gets uncomfortable to be seated like that after some time...the A/C was bare minimal and hence wasn that great feeling...felt a bit humid and stuffy...
The service was kind and courteous...i ordered a product of the day(Chicken Buritto) at 99rs and a fried oreos...they billed me the regular price at first and then changed later on after inquiring about the same....the waiting time was average for the buritto but fried oreos took too long to arrive at the table...nevertheless both items were well prepared....
The buritto was really good...the filling was bit on the lesser side IMO for a buritto...but taste wise the chicken filling and the rice complemented well...and tasted good...The Fried oreos too tasted good....Was bit on the sweeter side exactly how i like it...
Total bill came to 164 rs with taxes....The food was good...service was great...Ambiance was a bit of a downer...but overall an outlet worth trying in this locality for some wraps, burgers and buritos.....

Me and my friend stopped by here on a Monday afternoon. It was free since it was a weekday. We ordered chicken quesadila and a beef yankee burger.
One word to describe the burger is "AWESOME".
As far as I know they have the best beef burger here.

Yet another fast food outlet with a different name amidst all the KFCs and McDs. There was nothing extraordinary with this place but you still get a good deal of Mexican and American food.
A good place for veggies as there is a good deal of options to choose from. That's the best part of mexican food outlets and yes, they are quite healthy too :)
The only con is the service. Slowwwwwwwwwww! Nobody was there and still it took them like 30 mins to get my food.

I've been ordering from harry's for the past two weeks, and my favourite has been the quesadillas and taco's, excellent preparation and packing, they make sure it's not a mess when it's delivered and the delivery time is spot on 45 mins all the time!!
but for me, I think the quantity is a bit less, could've been a bit more, a couple of bites and it's gone!!
prices are flexible and harry's a must on my menu!!

After going through a couple of reviews , I decided to visit this place. In fact this has been a long pending one n my list ! To start of with, the place is really too small and there is no parking too ! Only plus its located n the beach road. So you can park ur vehicles somewhere or anywhere !
Order is lyk the way u do in KFC or MCD. U go choose the menu, pay and they reach ur table.
Food - I had veg fried nachos and bean quesadillas. Nachos were so yum and crispy. Loved their mayonnise and me being a great lover of tomatoes, (I love the tangy taste) just found this mouth-watering ! I loved the nachos way too much that it made me order again n I had another one too !
The bean and cheese quesadillas were perfectly cooked. I loved the bland taste.
For the drink, I had the green apple mojito. I personally felt there was a little too much of mint flavour that dominated the green apple one.
Saddest part is, sucha good meal was spoiled by the fried oreos. I dint lyk them !
On the whole, a must try place for their menu and the pricing which they ve fixed fr their dishes are also quite reasonable !
I will definitely visit this place again to taste others n the menu !
Neither authentic nor gourmet, but still kickass. It's not rock your world type food, but given the price and the amount of food, the taste is just amazing, with a good amount of meat. Pretty good choice if you need a change but don't want to burn your pocket.

Cold night n hot wraps can never go wrong!
The place is situated very near to the beach and is an instant crowd puller but to my surprise it was empty, the place is nice and cozy for short eats with nice wood works in tables and on the walls
The staff was very courteous and explained every short eat very well
Ordered a chicken burrito and fried oreos
The burrito had enough filling and tasted great with tomato sauce, the downside is that the frozen base (chapati like) was not heated properly and was crispy ,it could have been a little more thick, could have not had broken rice but that's not big of an issue though!!
The crispy oreos topped with powdered sugar and chocolate sauce were awesome none that I have ever tasted ,but more than two would be too much sweetness to handle.
Overall a good place to try for sure
Don't get fooled by its sign saying "Gourmet international food" it is nowhere near that!

Finally satisfied my Mexican cravings. I've never had proper Mexican food before, this was a first and I wasn't disappointed. I had the bean tacos while my friend had a chicken hoagie combo. The tacos were really tasty, the shell just toasted lightly to give it a crunch now and then. The hoagie, according to my friend was delicious but the bread was a little crispy. Service was very quick.
The ambience is welcoming. It's a fairly small, but well maintained and neat place. I was satisfied with their pricing and the food. Do give it a try if you're in Besant Nagar. :)
Wonderful food, warm staff, excellent ambience.. Experience only keeps getting better with every visit.. Quesadellas and burritos are the best eats here.. A tad bit too expensive for students, but totally with the money.. Also, only if more variety can be brought in and salads introduced, nothing could ever beat this place.. I would rate this eatery @4stars..

This place is located on the main beach road in besant nagar , diagonally opposite to the velankanni church. It's a small cafe setup that serves some Mexican dishes. This was the 2nd time we had food here and when we were in the area contemplating where to have lunch hub rooted for Harrys, he being happy with his hoagie from the first experience here.
What we had here :
Crispy Oreo fries - this was soft batter on the outside with crunchy melted Oreos on the inside. It was the first in the list to get ready. I was damn hungry and this tasted so yum 👍.
Chicken tacos : the filing of chicken was very nice , but I felt the tacos was not evenly cooked. Overall it was good. Serving size was good. There were 4 pieces of tacos.
Beef burritos: the burrito was rice and beef pieces wrapped in a roll. To me this tasted similar to the Kerala red rice and non spicy beef curry. This was ok.
Pink lemonade : we were here for lunch and this was an absolute refreshment under the chennai heat. 👍.
Overall a decent Mexican fare. Want to try their beef burger sometime.
Went for lunch on Thursday with the family. Since it was Ganesh Chaturthi the place was understandably sparsely populated. We ordered the egg burger, veg quesadilla, veg burger and paneer burrito. All came with fries and cokes.
The place was very clean with 2 staffs attending us.
Food was tasty my kids found it a little spicy. The burrito and quesadilla were especially good.
The only negative was that we had to wait for almost a half hour before all our food was ready. This was unexpected in a fast food place.
They did not have normal drinking water ready, they only offered bottled water which I didn't want. They later gave us a stainless steel tumbler with the water the staff drink which was quite ok.
I recommend this place if you like burgers and Mexican good. But be prepared to wait a while...

Been waiting to try their signature dishes for a long time and finally made it there on a Sunday evening with my best friend whose a major foodie as well. Surprisingly, they were not crowded :) :)
Coming to the best part... The food! Their mouth watering beef burgers! More specifically the "Yankee" and "Bondi" burgers which we started off with. The only difference between these two is that the "Bondi" has a egg along with the same ensemble as the "Yankee". The patty was succulent, juicy and perfectly grilled...topped with tomato, jalapeños and a orangish Mayo that went well with it.
We wanted to try out some more dishes and we decided that the next round would be the "Doner" kebab and "Hoagie" (minced beef ball subway).
I couldn't get enough of the "Yankee" and just had to get another one!!.. instead of the kebab.
Sampled the "Hoagie" and it was "okay" according to me, though my friend found it to be equally good as the burger. The subway bun was pretty small and had 3 deep fried minced beef balls with cheese and an Italian sauce which was very similar in taste as salsa. Did not tickle my taste buds that much.
All this with 2 large fountain Pepsi's were around 750 and change. Pretty good deal on the whole.
Honestly, the only negative is that the burgers could have been a bit bigger for the price or maybe I just have too good an appetite for tasty beef burgers ;)
Will definitely be visiting this place again to try out the other items on the menu and of course to satisfy that burger craving once in awhile ;)

I have tried their burritos, burger, lemonade and few other things. The food is fresh. I found the burritos to be the best. The burritos are flavorful but not filling. Overall a decent, clean place for a quick byte.

The best part about Harry's Wrap and Roll is the location; very close to the beach. To start of first, this joint has a very good ambiance; the interiors are very bright and fresh looking and the service is quite good.
Now about the food. I had a Chicken Taco and Meatball Pasta. The Taco was excellent and piping hot. The chicken seemed to melt in my mouth and the other toppings such as the sauce and corn were brilliant. Had a bite of the Chicken Quesadillas (from my friend's plate :p ), it was the best! But I was thoroughly disappointed with the Meatball Pasta. The pasta seemed very bland and the meatballs were kinda burnt and very hard. The bonus garlic bread you get with the pasta was even worse. It was sweet!!
The Tacos and Quesadillas are a must have here. Heard the Chicken Burritos are brilliant too. Will surely go back for those hot Tacos!!!

This is my favorite little burger shack in this part of the world. Easy on the pocket, conveniently located and pleasant. Not a huge joint, but a good one. Harry's does a couple of things pretty well and some things well enough to earn my eternal gratitude. A small, unassuming little joint across from Elliot's beach, seems largely empty most times but has excellent food and very friendly service.
The burgers are definitely worth trying (Yankee & Bondi). The perfect size to satisfy a growling tummy without stuffing you silly. I'm tired of the massive two-hand burgers that are increasingly popular here, no matter how delicious they are, they get monotonous after the fourth bite. Harry's has the antidote. The bread isn't amazing, but it does the job. The patty is moist and flavorful with just the right amount of char. Nothing else matters.
The Pink Lemonade is simple and nice and the Plantain Chips topped like nachos are an awesome idea. The chips tend to get soggy if you don't eat them quick (share with a friend, problem solved).
The Doner Kebab is not a Doner Kebab. It is nice, but it isn't a Doner Kebab. @Similarly, the tacos are so far from Mexican that they're hardly recognisable. Strictly avoidable. Their Mac N Cheese (was a special) is a Fussili with shredded chicken. The chicken is tasty but there's no cheese. Or Macaroni. And it isn't baked. How difficult is it to make a cheesy, gooey Mac N Cheese? The hotdog has a chicken frank that is so insipid, it tastes like a chicken flavoured soufflé and the bread is so wrong.
The Beef Hoagie is the Meatball Hero I've been holding out for (cue "Holdin Out For A Hero" by Frou Frou). Beautifully seasoned meatballs with a slight hit of Oregano, a pretty good marinara, what else do you need? It's simplicity will move you to tears and fill a void in your life that you didn't know existed.
I wish they served pork too. That burger, some bacon and more cheese. That's what I daydream about, often at work.
The beef burritos are excellent for the price. The chilli dog is good but i dont believe its worth the heavy price tag .I welcome the idea of such a restaurant as there aren't many in the locality .All in all its a very decent place and i will definitely go again.

Couldn't have been happier with my sudden and lucky discovery of such a wonderful place. I wish there were more options for vegetarians. But the lack of them compensates in the food. The macaroni cheese is a must try. And not to forget, free wifi!!!
Everything is fine with this restaurant.. the food is good quality for the price point they are operating in. The staff seem nice. But there is a suffocating smell inside the restaurant that spoils the whole eating experience. Maybe its the varnish from the new furniture or maybe its just my abnormal sense of smell.
I love Mexican food and Harry's wrap and roll was perfect. Loved their tacos, burgers and quesadillas. For the first time i had Plantain nachos (first thing i ordered as it was something different on the menu card) it was very tasty. The Ice cream float was awesome. The dip that they give was out of the world. Can't wait to visit this place again. :)
A newly opened place for some tasty Mexican food... The quesadillas are quite tatsy and cheesy, burritos are heavy filled with Mexican rice too. They have nachos too but with a twist- its plantain nachos.. The quesadillas lack in peppers though but were worth it for the money charged..
Ambience is good with very less tables to be seates that can get crowdy on weekends
Good food only thing was that if it were a little other it would have been great but as a whole this place is good and even it is situated opposite to the beasant nagar beach so no problem going to the beach

The walls are plastered with posters filled with sumptuous mouthwatering food. This place comes as close as you can to matching the likeness of the posters. Thou the ambiance is simple the food is tasty, though portion sizes can be improved on. But overall my experience here was good as service was fast and food was pleasant on the taste buds.

This wasn't planned at all & we were hungry while on that road. I quickly remembered this place as someone I know mentioned about it. . A small eatery on the arterial Besant Nagar Beach road, it is hard to miss. A few doors from the famous Murugan Idli, you will see this place on your left. Lots of loud hoardings & boards screaming out their offers pretty much welcome you to this place. They do not have a dedicated parking though & I'm unsure of the valet service as I do not remember seeing a board about the same.
It was a Sunday afternoon & there were no covers when we entered. They have seating for a good 20 people and I liked the way tables were arranged. The walls are adorned with their menu offerings & some signature items. It was a pleasant sight to see that there was no jarring music & instead they had an LCD TV playing VH1 at a very tolerable volume. Some tables have a regular stool while some others have the bar stool. To each their own I guess & I couldn't stop from seeing the Ketchup bottles on each of the tables ;)
They do have 1 open kitchen area which of course had nobody cooking for obvious reasons. They have a closed kitchen as well and I'm guessing that the open one is meant for the evening hours. The menu is short & simple and easy. They do not have any fancy names & you do not necessarily have to be familiar with mexican cuisine to select. The Free Wifi in the eatery can be a major plus to attract a lot of people. Ideal for a bite and some emails perhaps :)
We ordered a Veg Quesadilla (50), Chicken Hoagie Italian (140) and a Regular Lemonade (20). The quesadilla had mashed beans in a warm tortilla garnished with some fresh cream and lettuce. The bean was cooked well and the portion was filling enough. I also felt a few bell peppers while biting into the tortilla. It is not spicy at all and makes it ideal for kids.
I was a little surprised to see that the Lemonade was actually Pink in color. when asked, I was told that it was a fruit color. Very fresh lemonade without any soda fizz and very mildly sweet. Just the way I like it smile emoticon My husband enjoyed the hoagie a lot. He did feel that the portion was small. Cashier Kiruba was very friendly and took feedback from us before we left. I am definitely going back there to try their Plantain Nachos. We paid around 230 for all of this and the pricing is very average I'd say.
A great place to grab a non veg snack. Its relatively cheap for the good quality of food they serve i must say. i visited harry's for the first time when it was new with friends and since then i keep ordering food delivery from them whenever hunger strikes.
its quite clean and hygienic compared to most other food joints close by. Service was quick.
i love their Burittos and French fries! Also i think their burgers are a much healthier option than MC Donald's burgers and taste even better!

Couldn't join my foodie gang for a food walk... Walked into Harry's... Had been going past it since it was been built...
Nice clean and bright interiors... Wooden high rise chairs and tables... Pictures of their spread adorn the wall... They have a flatscreen tv that was playing the top English songs on vh1 so that was fun!
There wasn't a lot of crowd when we entered... The menu has quite a good non veg spread.. Beef, pork, chicken... But veggie options are not so great... Maybe they should look into introducing some more veg options..
We ordered a combo that was Doner Kebab Roll with French fries accompanied by a pink lemonade and an interesting dipping sauce... The diner kebab cooks on a rod in the far side of the place.. Gavin, an Australian who has brought this chain with the Besant Nagar outlet being the first in India was kind enough to explain what the doner kebab is all about... So this wrap has a good amount of chicken put on it.. This is a Turkish style of food where the chicken slow cooks layer by layer... The trick to this is the slicing .. The slicing of the meat must be done very carefully... One layer at a time... But just so his customers don't eat raw chicken... Gavin gets all the sliced pieces refried...:) they use a large tortilla and put veggies like lettuce, onion, tomatoes, jalapenos, salsa etc.. Along with the refried chicken... They have mayo, ketchup and their special sauce that can be added as per your choice.. I asked for the special sauce... As I bit into the the wrap... It gave me a good comfort feeling.. The tortilla was nicely grilled and warm with the crunchy lettuce and the onions... The chicken was really tasty... The fries were crunchy adequately salted and the dipping sauce was excellent.. They should use that flavour for most of their dishes..
The staff is very courteous and always ready to explain the different dishes... Gavin himself pays a lot of attention to training his staff and is always around to help them out which is excellent showing that he takes ownership of the place...
I read a review written by my good friend Vidhya who mentioned that the filling inside the wrap was not enough... I would like her to know that the issue has been addressed by them and they have taken the feedback quite well... :) :) :) :) My wrap was filled nicely with chicken and the veggies.......The pink lemonade was quite refreshing..
A new place... Great tasting wraps.. Would love to go back and taste their burgers... They even have a B.A.B challenge... Reminds me of the Man VS Food episodes....
All in all... Its a new place with some good food... Every new place is bound to have a few hiccups.. But Gavin and his team are very sweet people ready to take on any feedback with a smile.. Way to go guys!
Initially me and my siblings planned for dinner at the neighboring Murugan idly shop. Unfortunately (or should I say fortunately ;)) the place was crowded to the point it would take some time to catch a table. Being famished we decided to walk to the nearby tried and tested Jonah's bistro when we came across Harry's wrap and roll. Walking in, the first thing we noticed was the smell of newness (the place is just a week old apparently), also the interiors are well done providing for a very nice ambience. The staff are also nice and readily answered all our questions quite helpfully. The menu has a good spread with burritos, doner kebabs, burgers etc. I was torn between the doner kebabs and the burritos but went with the burritos. But boy was it good!! Very satisfactory! Tried out the pork, chicken as well as the bean burritos all three were top notch! Would recommend this place to all who love burritos! Planning to make a second trip and try out the doner soon!!

A pamphlet struck on my car at Bessie beach said that they serve Burittos. Hubby being a huge fan of Burittos decided to give this place a try today. Ordered a veg buritto, doner kebab roll and a portion of fries. Buritto was surprisingly good. With white rice, mashed beans n cheese it was very nice. The tortilla was soft n didn't become soggy. The doner kebab roll was good too. While ordering online I opted for the hot chilli sauce for this wrap. The meat was juicy n flavourful and the salad adding a beautiful crunch to every bite. Fries were so so. Less salt. The dip that came along was a bit different. It was fusion btwn ketchup n mayo and was a bit spicy. But good. The portions are far far different from what is shown in their website. A normal eater would need 2 wraps/rolls to satisfy the hunger.
I ordered online. For 3km radius they do a free delivery. Bill came to 390 bucks. Food was delivered in 25 mins from ordering. They also have beef n pork version on the rolls. Gotta try them also soon.
