Visited Bite and Chill for a takeway recently. Have read about this place sometime back and wanted to give it a try. Ordered Bread Chilly Cheese toast and Dahi Papdi Chat. For the price (Rs 50 each) they come, the taste is pretty good. The toast was quite impressive. Felt the Dahi of chat could have been slightly better.
This place is a very small kiosk opposite to Nilgiris/Bata in Kottivakkam.
A tiny road side outlet providing chats and sandwiches n shakes. Planned to have a Aloo masala Toast, Veg S/w and corn cheese Toast, but ended up having two plates of pani puri as well. The latter was completely irresistible. From observation it's a hygienic place n family friendly as was able to see many taking packages to home. The sandwiches were toasted well n the stuffing was delicious.
A go to place for every Thiruvanmiyurian. Anyone around that area wouldn’t have missed this place. This place near Khadim’s showroom is frequented by youngsters and elders alike. The best thing about the place is, the sandwiches take a lot of time to be prepared but you’d never get bored as you are sitting in the busy ECR stretch.
The sandwiches are best to have it there than to take away because you don’t get the chutney parceled. And obviously can’t get the extra chutney you get there. There are a variety of sandwiches, shakes and chats but best is obviously the sandwiches. If you want recommendation, go for the ones which has the green chutney in the middle. That gives a zing to the sandwiches. As there are no hurry, the sandwiches are grilled to perfection.
The people selling them are very humble and really friendly so I bet you cant stop visiting them once you set foot on it.

I've seen this small shop being thronged by people while wading through the heavy traffic. Have been here 2-3 times. Their offerings are pretty decent.
Pros :
Pocket friendly place. Pani puri at 25 bucks was pretty good both the times. I love the way they give chopped onions and boiled black chenna with pani puri. It sure does enhances the taste. Dahi poori at 40 bucks was good first time and okayish on the next visit. Dahi papdi chat for Rs.50 was decent with loads of onions potatoes and tomatoes along with the papdi. They can do better on the flavour though. Kakra cheese sandwich for 60 bucks and murukku cheese sandwich for 60 was decent. Cheese was overloaded but the addition of boiled sliced potatoes along with onions and tomatoes made up for it. The green chutney can be a bit more spicy. Well I like mine that way.
Rosemilk was way too sweet and the strawberry milkshake tasted more or less like the Rosemilk.
Cons :
One has to sit in the plastic chairs on the pavement, facing the heavy ECR traffic it was not at all comfortable. Second and third visit - house flies were creating a mess. Service is dead slow and the waiting time (managing the house flies) can test ones patience.
My sister in law introduced me to this place. Its a real cool spot... I tried the Murukku sandwich and the dairy milk shake and it was amazing.
The only issue with the place is the location- we have to sit in the pavement facing ECR road traffic... felt uncomfortable.
Located diagonally opposite to Bata showroom and adjacent to Khadims showroom on ECR, Kottivakkam. Small place with great bites to offer. They have all the snacks/quick bites/ say street food a northie might miss here.
They have lots on the menu to choose from and i had gone with Bhujiya sandwich and aalo masala cheese toast, both were mouthwatering.... The green coriander mix chutney is the best.
The service section (staffing) has to be improved as their was only one dude (presenting himself clean and hygienic) at the outlet even during peak hours.
This has become my fav. pani puri stop.
Shop offers good chat items and decent shakes too.
Just wish that the shop makes some sitting arrangements.

The best place to have heavenly pani puris and potato masala sandwich simply ssuperb awesome, i just love going there i go there atleast once in a month simply irrestible

Bite and chill as the name says, its a small shop but fills your hungry stomach.
The sandwiches available here are too good and really tasty. It ls more like mom made.
And this is purely Veg , so chicken lovers you can try veg once in a while too.
And coming to juices and shakes. Its just perfectly mixed.
The shop looks small , But real good.
Try any sandwich here.
Also try the diary milk shake :)
My rating is 3.5/5 , as they are little slow in the preparation. But its worth waiting. :)
I die for Pani puri's and there was no best place to have Pani puri around thiruvanmiyur. Well!! My verdict went wrong, when I found this place....This is a small outlet, the Pani poori here is yummy and it makes me break my rules against my diet!! Priceworthy!!! and any pani poori lover can give a try.
Great place to bite and chill on the way to ECR.Their pani poori and veggie sandwiches are excellent.Dont forget to have the chocolate mousse as well, its heavenly.Am sure you would want to take some back home as well.Their Lime juice is also refreshing cold and fresh.Good stuff at reasonable prices!!!
Really good service. A clean fast food joint. They have some chaat items, sandwiches and a variety of juices. Have eaten two sandwiches there, and both were really good. But I must admit that I've only gone there twice.
The sandwiches are awesome. The quality is also good. Milkshakes too good !!
Nice Sandwiches, Juices and chat items with affordable price. Place is on road side and small. We generally pack and eat them at kottivakkam beach. Here you can try Grilled , Corn cheese and Muruku sandwich .
I love to have cheese corn toast and
rose milk.
