A good range in South Indian dishes and snacks. Also sports a varied assortment of sweets and drinks. Also offers a variety of meals and business lunch menus. Clean, with a homely ambiance. On the whole, a good place to hang out with people and have a wholesome vegetarian meal. A lot of items are overpriced though. I don't think I'd wanna be spending so much on items that are available in almost half price.

Yesterday with my friends visited namma vasantha bhavan maduravoyal. We had a nice tiffin. Especially pongal awesome taste. The taste of sambar gud. Ghee roast superb. Every thing gud.

Basically, I am not a great fan of Vasantha Bhavan but if situation demands, I may opt them since being safe option to try. I was passing by that road, being lunch time thought of having meals here. I have been here few times for evening snacks and for dinner but this is my first visit for lunch.
This place is easy to locate. Have space to park few vehicles. Ambiance is decent. One big hall with many tables and chairs. Service also pretty decent. I ordered VB Special meal. It consist of soup, chapathi, gravy, biriyani, some fried rice, curd rice, 2 variety vegetable, rice, sambar, kara kolambu, rasam, vadai, curd, payasam, papad, podi, nallaennai, kootu, ice cream etc.
Most of the items came with meals are good. Kara kolambu, fried rice and vadai are the best among all. Even the evening snacks and tiffen items i tried in the past are decent. Price is reasonable. Value for the money. Can try this place if you were going that way.
The taste n quality of food is good and improved now.

The mushroom briyani(dum briyani) , the dosas and the kambu chapathi everything tasted like heaven. None of us had a compaint.
The service was just perfect. Mr.Balamurugan , the service captain made sure we liked every dish we had. His commitment is commendable.

On 29th December we celebrated our daughters bday .we planned for a small hall and found out Namma Veedu vasantha Bhavan was offering two halls. We decided on the hall and approached the Manager Mr.Mohandass. He was friendly and offered us tips on the Menu and the type hall which would suit us.
One the eve of the function, the people who were at the buffet were helpful and served with charm. Guests were delighted. I’m very thankful to all the staffs and chefs of Vasantha bhavan on making this function a great success.

It was my parents wedding anniversary and after visiting Mangadu and Thiruverkadu we were hungry and decided to have lunch. As anna nagar was near we decided to go to either HSB or Vasantha Bhavan. It was Already late for lunch it was half past 3, my dad saw Vasantha Bhavan and he said we will have here. With a doubt in mind we went inside and asked about meals and mini meals and fortunately both were available and we 3 decided to have mini meals each. I have eaten in lot of Vasantha Bhavans outlet but this was really exceptional, the quantity and the taste were really good and it was a nice lunch. The hotel staff were also polite and courteous. And the price was also quite reasonable. I really liked the sambar rice as it was super hot and delicious especially for a cloudy climate it was an excellent lunch. Looking forward for future vists.

"Namma Veedu Vasanta Bhavan" is one place that never disappoints. They have a devoted clientele so often you will see the same faces over the weekends. An absolute must try is their Mini Tiffin that comes in compartmentalized plates, and gives you a variety of typical South Indian breakfast treats in eatable quantities. For lunch, VB is a treat for the usual South Indian favourites sambar, rice, rasam, kootu, porial, applam, etc. but, it's North Indian items like naans, rotis, etc are good too. In fact, VB North Indian Thali offers quite a variety of dishes.The Vada range are favourites here, all of them bring on the crispness and yum factor. During the evenings, VB also offers chaats made by North Indian cooks which are quite a hit with the patrons. The Pongal, chutneys and sambhars here cater to anyone looking for typical Madras-style side-dishes. After a bitter experience in namma veedu vasanta bhavan in vadapalani and the outlet in anna nagar, we were not sure if we should step in the maduravoyal outlet. Back from a tiring journey we decided to go for it. We had one mr.ismail stewarding our table and was very courteous. Mr.Balamurugan attended our table and suggested us to try their new dishes. We started off with corn samosas for the starter and chilli paneer. This is not an exaggeration but the chilli paneer was yummy, paneer so soft and spiced perfectly. Mini corn samosas were hot and crisp from the outside but partially gooey and soft with tender corn in the inside. Super impressed with the starters we moved on to the main course. Ordered a masala paneer dosa which was generously stuffed with the paneer masala and was spot on, palak puri- mild flavour of palak with crisp puris & yummy channa masala, chinese idly fry - super hit dish, so tasty that it got over in a jiffy, very soft aloo parathas and kari keema parotta -the dish of the day.. reminded me of the vegetarian version of quesadilla! We finished our meal with sukku kaapi and basundhi.. Basundhi was served in a matka and was creamy and tasty although there could be a little more pieces of the cream. We even had a small chat with the chef Mr.sokkalingam and told him we liked the food a lot and that we r considering bulk order for mallu sadhya on onam.. Vegetarian food for a carnivore like me doesnt usually click. But this, it worked quite well. Top notch service and excellent food. All this priced at 860/- it is definitely a bang for the buck.

Hi guys... This s my first Review in Zomato.I had my son 1st Birthday party here. The Banquet hall s good... I had ordered for 80 guests but we had 150 still they managed very nicely.. There was no lag in service. The food was too good. The service was best. The manager Mr.Singaravelan and Mr. Raju managed the crowd very well with good care. The decoration was best done by Mr. Kumaran.we enjoyed our occasion.I would recommend this place for functions... Its good.

we tried food at maduravoyil branch.Actually i am not interested in having food outside.One of my friend suggested to have food here. At first i was thinking how the taste would be and how the price would be..My fav food is parotta kurma.So i ordered that.Parotta was so awesome and the taste of kurma is fine not that much like A+grade but i will give A grade for that.And also price are reasonable for a good food..Will come back atleast 2 days in a week to try different items.

Food was good. I had breakfast Pongal and dosa. The quality of food was excellent. However the plastic plate in which the food was served was broken and worn out. Nevertheless banana leaf was placed on the worn out plastic plate. It's time to change the plates as it diverts the attention from the good tasty food being served and acts as a sour point.

I like the vibe here. I ordered a Parotta set, idli set, masala dosa and veg fried rice. Everything was tasty and super good. The quantity was good but the price was a little expensive. Otherwise, overall it's a great place to dine in.

The service was real quick.
They had all the usual breakfast items, we decided to go for a breakfast combo, this consisted of Idly, Vada, dosa,poori ,pongal and kesri bath.
The taste was good and food really fresh.
I liked the location of the hotel too and they do have some place for parking your cars and bikes.

Hiii, ordered a meals in our lovely namma veedu vasantha bhavan. Taste and quality wise is perfect and suitable for both Dine in and Take away. Especially all the staffs are very humble to the customer and even the manager Mr. Anbazhagan is very humble and taking atmost care of the customers. Ambience and cleanliness is very nice. If you have come near maduravoyal you must vist this restaurant. It's open from 7:00AM to 11:00PM. Come and vist here with your families and friends and have a nice day.
