A bang on 5 ordered the biriyani cake for my luv sushma made the cake so beautifully n the taste is soo delicious the red velvet flavour with raspberry frosting is soo tasty n perfect thanks sushma for this yummy cake
Sushma is one person who can put ur cake on the table exactly the way you want it to look ! It's not only visually appealing but the taste is amazing too. I've ordered here many many times & have never been disappointed with her work.

Needed a Cake for my Sister's surprise Graduation Party. Was also looking to pick it up in Mylapore / Mandeveli. Ran through the various options that keep coming up on Zomato and Where Chennai Eats.
Zero'ed in on Cake Affairs after falling in love with their detailing - quite visible from their Facebook page.
What : Needed a one kilo cake without any tinge of chocolate - that portrayed what an Artist likes. Also, as I planned the whole thing late, the baker had only 36 hours to work on the whole thing.
Sushma, the brain behind Cake Affairs, accepted my order inspite of it being almost last minute. She then sent across some ideas and gave suggestions for the flavours. I picked Butter Scotch - and an idea that had an easel, a pallet, a paint brush, some colour pencils and paint tubes! The detailing in each of the decorative items I mentioned was perfect - including the crimp of the paint tubes or the silver holding of the paint brush! This baker is artist and detailing-conscious for sure!
How it tasted : The sponge was perfect and Moist. The middle later of Butterscotch cream was exactly how I wanted it to be. The Fondant Icing was smooth, even and thin - such that it did not feel extremely sweet! The taste of the fondant went well with both my younger cousins and my Grand Parents.
Cost : At 2000 bucks a kilo - for all of that ideation, innovation, artistic work and the baking, I find it a value for money.
Service : Easy to Approach. Shares a picture of it way before pick up time - so that we can give our feedback on how it looks. She was also okay about it when I landed at her place to pick up the cake a little past the time we had decided on.
Bottomline : The cake surprise made my sister's day. Trust her detailing instincts and yes, Here is where you get some amazing customized cakes in Central Chennai! :)
One of the most delicious and spongy cup cakes I've had in my entire life. The Red Velvet are to die for. Marriage on a plate couldn't be defined better when Peanut butter and cream are combined. Simply delicious and an apt place to go to for the ones with a sweet tooth. :) A little on the expensive side, but what's spending a little more to succumb to your cravings and thoroughly enjoy the desserts...
I am glad that I found Cake affairs on Zomato. Was just scrolling through restaurants in Zomato. After reading so many positive reviews, decided to give it a try. Sushma was very friendly and helpful. Ordered 1 kg choco raspberry cake. She did manage to put all the detailings I had mentioned. It was more than what I expected. Ordered this as a surprise for two of my friends and they liked it too. The flavour and texture was very good too. First time tasting choco raspberry and I totally loved it. You can defenitely give a try if you are looking for a cake on a special occasion. Worth the money paid too. Thanks a ton Shushma. 😀
I ordered chocolate truffle cake. But it came out as gud as real pizza in look. Amazing work nd yummy cake. It was special cake for a special friend and everyone loved the cake. It was so delicious nd appetizing. The rates are reasonable and they really worth it. Thank you so much for the wonderful cake Aunty

As for the taste, the best red velvet cake I've ever had! Fluffy, soft, spongy, moist, full of flavor, everything balanced right, including the very soft fondant. It was love at the first bite! One polite and understanding lady, Cake Affairs, it was a treat to order to you. :)

After hearing so much about cake affairs beautiful theme cakes. Ordered a theme cake for my boss. man whos usually likes smoke nd bikes. Cake was well presented it was beautiful. They attended to every minute details. Orange with chocolate was good combination . Flavors worked so well together. Cake was baked perfectly. Everything melted in Mouth. They do make home deliveries. If you are looking to please someone close to you on their special day with cakes. This is the best place to buy. Totally worth for money.

I was looking for someone who would bake cupcakes. I got to know about cake affair from their fb page. And Sushma gladly agreed for same day delivery. :-) I got red velvet cupcakes and loved them completely. Looking forward to another occasion so that I can order again from her.
