A good restaurant! Ive rated this one for Vegetarian foods only~not yet tasted Nonveg here! But the vegetarian dishes was Osm Nd Yummy! Panner tikkas wer best at this place! With d creamy mint chutney!
Even though their delivery was 5 to 10 min late , the food cannot be complained at any level.. best soups I have had in long time 👍.. 😋 yumminess most of the time , I would say .. lotsss of variety in menu
A very small restaurant near Anna Nagar tower park. I never seen a big crowd over there but I believe there is a set of customers fixed for them. One amongst that set of customer or fan of them only taken me there. Our order was reshmi kabab, kimchi chicken masala with pulka and chappati. Kimchi chicken masala was awesome. So good. Really a great food.
For the size of the restaurant and for this ambiance prices are lil high but still worth it for their taste
This place is close to my work place so we are regulars to this place... The restaurant is almost empty every single time.. The food is good... Good ambience... Must try....

Very friendly staff
Nice food
Their Fried Rice is amazing
The only thing I felt was the quantity of the side dishes
Otherwise it's a good visit with Family
This place is kind of located close to the annanagar tower park and thus a drop point with my school friends. This is our dinner joint. I love the Chinese starters in this place, but the main course will be north Indian :) The service is great and the vfm -4/5.
I had ordered butter chicken- good but too spicy. Less chicken. Second I ordered for chicken kheema biryani, way too spicy. The food is more on the spicy side it seems. Service is good but takes time. Maybe they should cut down on the spice in dishes which are not meant to be spicy. Or mention in the menu about the spice level.

Hidden away in one of the broad streets of anna nagar west, Metro dine is still flooded with busy customers inspite of being surrounded by popular food joints. The food is classy, crisp and satisfactory.
Metro dine is a restaurant vertically standing small and intact. The ground floor was too crowded inspite of a booking and just when i thought the restaurant ends within a compact space, a small staircase leads the way to a basement seating.
The basement seating dint have a quality air conditioning but it was spacious and satisfactory.
We ordered:
Crab meat soup, Dragon chicken , chilli fish, pan fried noodles, garlic fried rice, prawn in oyster sause, paneer kulcha and chicken tikka masala.
A complete and fulfiling multicuisine restaurant. Certainly would recommend it. But i would prefer a take away though.
Considering the lack of good fast food places in chennai, metro dine would seriously catch up if they start multiple branches.
One of the established Chinese joints in Anna nagar !
The restaurant has utilized the small space to give the customers an pleasant ambience ! Just when you think it can't fit more than 20 , you see a path leading downstairs where they have a huge seating ! Apart from this they have a wide rage of items in their menu ... Most of them being meat so not a place for vegans .... They have a separate menu for mocktalis .. So they have a pretty good menu ...
Coming to food , we got ourselves some tom yum and Gobi Manchurian .... Tom yum was good ! Maybe a little bit of shrimps would have boosted the flavour .
Gobi Manchurian was tasty as usually ...
Their service was satisfying and food was tasty which was upto the Chinese food joints expectations ! So overall a good experience
That was a tasty experience with Metro Dine, Ordered for Lunch course, simply speechless after got my bill since its very less when compared with over rated restaurant .
Veg Biriyani with Panner Butter Masala great tangy taste and combination.
Also Panner tikka that is also came up greate taste.
Thanks Metro Dine for provided the great food with OSM taste.
This place is small yet gives you something really good food! Servicing is really good! Presentation and taste are good too!! I went thrice or more to this place and I really like it!
I had ordered from here long ago. Though of visiting again and ordered for Chinese starters and main course. Food was good and quantity was also very good. It is reasonable on the pocket as well. One thing I appreciate is their wide menu even though the seating capacity is small. Will visit again to try their Tandoori dishes.
Herbivore's Home delivery from Metro Dine 👍👌🤘
A night stay with friends at Anna Nagar and all the chit chat made us hungry.
What next when there are less topic to be discussed ? Order food ! 😂🤘🙏
Placed fbe order for :
1. Spicy fried Mushrooms
2. Golden fried Baby corn
+ Mushrooms were a special mention. I liked the flavor.
+Spicy ? - yes !👍👌
+Overpowering ? - no ! 👍👌
+Quantity was sufficient to be shared. ( This "Joey" doesn't share food 😇✌)
- Golden fried Baby corn were a let down.
- Less flavourful.
We expected something like a Chinese starter but we got the "bajji" types. 🤔😁 No complaints in taste though.
I enjoyed both of them ✌🤘👌👌👍👍
Would I order again ? - Yes.
VFM ? - Yes.
My carnivore counterparts exclaimed that their dishes were top notch too. 👌👍
This place is amazing 😍 Each and every dish wr had was mouth-watering. Except their pasta. I din't like it. Felt it was kinda under cooked. The milk was not boiled properly I guess.
Sizziling brownie was toooooooo gooooodddd.😻😻😻
This place is so small, I have been here trice and they hospitality is good and even some cuisines are good.if your non vegetarian you must try dragon chicken from appetizers. Overall it was good

Been here only once, decent ambience , friendly staff but somehow I always end up ordering online. PROs: super quick delivery (faster than domino's ), sufficient quantity, is mostly on discount hence pocket friendly as well. Kebabs are a must try here.. melts in the mouth(more often than not).
CONs: pasta is mostly over cooked, gravies are mostly OKish.
MUST TRY: CHEESE AND GARLIC KEBAB.
MALAI TANDOORI.
We'd ordered Hong Kong Fried rice, schezwan noodles, chilli paneer and a baby corn main course. Everything tasted great. Basically, Amazing food, ample quantity, timely delivery and friendly staff.
The home delivery was late and the dishes have become cold.Paneer butter masala was not that nice.Good one for non vegetarians, not so good for vegetarians..

Excellent service and tasty foods. We heard that rolls are best served here and thought of giving it a try. Sadly we reached there at 5pm in the evening where they had only Chinese items :/ Though we aren't fond of Chinese dishes we ordered the items suggested by the waiter wch turned out to be excellent and more importantly they are cheap.
The best chicken keema biryani I've ever tasted here...and by the way restaurant is small..but the food is best in class..loved the starters and biryani especially....do visit..:)
Along with three more friends I have been to this place. The ambience was very good. Some bollywood music was going on. We started with chicken hot and sour soup which was good. And then ordered volcano chicken which wasn't anything special though they proclaimed it to be their special. Ordered fish finger which was good. Then moved on to main course with butter chicken and pulka which was so delicious. Mutton biriyani was too good. The tandoori roti was OK. The zeera rice again was good. The serving was good. Since it was Monday night there were few others in the restaurant. The prices were within the budget. I would say a better place to dine with both family and friends. I liked the road side view from where I sat.
I've been to this place with my family three times in the last couple of months, and we have tried different dishes each time. Metro Dine does not cease to amaze with the quality of their food. In any restaurant, you would expect to find the odd dish that isn't up to your expectations - but Metro Dine excels in every department, and every dish is top notch! Their personnel are courteous, friendly and warm.
Big recommendations based on our experiences so far - chicken sizzler, American chopsuey (chicken), malai kabab, manchow soup, tawa paratha, butter chicken masala, crumb fried chicken. We're big chicken fans, so we haven't had an opportunity to try the other dishes (yet) - but we are definitely looking forward to trying more dishes in the near future. Thank you for the awesome food!
Delivery food tasted so yummy. We just loved the Dim sum and other items. Thanks for delivering such a delicious lunch. Looking forward to order in future :-) Thanks, Metro Dine!
Metro Dine is a nondescript restaurent going by its looks tucked away in a silent corner on the 3rd avenue. Ambiance wise it is quiet cramped to start with. The tables are placed so near to one another that one can literally grab the neighbour's plate. And it is very difficult to have a private talk due to the same fact.
The most striking aspect of this place is it's service personnel. Almost every one of them were very friendly, patient, helpful and humble. The one who took our order was voluntarily explaining about each and every dish and helped us in our orders. He also recommended dishes based on our likes and dislikes. And the time taken to honour the orders were very nominal.
The lung fung soup that we ordered was very good. It had the flavour of chicken in it with all those herbs and spices in perfect proportions. For starters we ordered Spicy fried chicken as am not a fan of the sweetish tasting Chinese starters. The spicy fried chicken was awesome. As the name indicates it was a bit high on spices but the taste was excellent. The chicken pieces were very well cooked with perfect marination.
For the main course my wife ordered chicken pasta while I had Hong Kong noodles. First thing about the main course is that it had a very generous potion. Especially the noodles can be shared by two quiet adequately. The Hong Kong noodles were a bit bland but I liked the slushy texture of the noodles. The chicken pasta was very well made and presented. It was very creamy and had generous amount of chicken pieces. At the end of the meal we really struggled finishing it due to the enormity of the potions.
The cost here is very nominal. A soup, starter and two main dishes costed us only Rs 660. And it was definitely value for our money.
One of d best restaurants. In one word, AWSOME IN EVERYTHING!! Apart from food, they r very courteous. Chilly-fish was just yummy. Felt like having it as the main course. Chicken sheek kebab was tastier as never b4. Murg Hyderabadi, a differntly tasted dish. Chicken Schezwan fried was cooked perfectly. In total, no falts to b found anywhere....
The food was very good. They are mainly Chinese and Mughal. We ordered veg fried rice which was tasty but very plain. And dragon chicken was good too. Neatly packed delivery. Must try
The restaurant was pleasant, quiet and peaceful(maybe because of heavy rains in chennai) . Orders were served pretty quick. Food was good not excellent.
Superb place.. Very easy to locate.. Good service.. Great ambience.. Very good food.. Biriyani was great.. Overall a great food a superb place to hangout..
My brother and I wanted to dine out for the day and was in search for a place that we haven tried yet and learnt about Metro Dine in Anna Nagar. One might miss the place among the crumpled shops along the 2nd avenue near roundtana.
Since it was an early dinner we were their first customers fr the evening. Ambience was good and the service was good too. They were very courteous. Starters and tandoor were excellent. Maincourse (Egg biryani and Schezwan Noodles) were just good. Then we ordered creamy pasta with paneer and mushroom...yum yum it was soooooo gd. Id visit again jus fr their pasta and my bro was in love with their chicken grill and khatti rolls.
Overall a good place. Didn't have space for dessert though 😁.
I had a good dinner after a long tiem I have been to 7stars hotel but the mutton rah rah gravy top of the world too too good the naan was also good soft we all loved it very much after dinner we had values too good keep going and allha bless you all aameen
Metro dine I was was really sparkled by that name ,thought what this restraunt could give me. Then decided to order a schewan fried rice and cauliflower Manchurian, though initially being shocked by the rich colour of the rice ,it did pan out to b good and the Manchurian had a very good soya and garlic flavour mixed up with some spices . Well have to admit , satisfied very much . Looking forward on ordering more and visting too ..
After having tried out most of the restaurants in and around Anna nagar, I wanted to try out a new place and Metro Dine's plan panned out solely due to that. I'd passed by this outlet way too many times but never happened to notice it. To be honest, I was quite apprehensive to try out this restaurant but surrendered to my wish of eating out at a new joint.
Location - moving towards perambur on the Anna arch road in Anna nagar, metro dine is about 200 metres from roundtana, on to one's left hand side.
Ambience - nothing too fancy or overwhelming about the interiors, this place has a very simple look to it. Has a couple of dining spaces segregated by their reception. We were directed to the one on the right side. Its a tiny area with a seating capacity of 15 people. I'm assuming about similar amount of space to be available in the other section.
Staff and service - impeccable is the word. Not the slightest bit of glitch that I can point out to. The manager took care of each and everything in the most efficient manner possible, making sure his serving staff was always on their toes. Keep at it, guys!
Food and menu - an extensive menu to say the least, this place serves Chinese and north Indian cuisine with a wide range of options. Be it starters, soups, main course, breads or beverages, they have more than a reasonable number of options to choose from. Our order was as follows: paneer malai tikka, chicken drums in heaven for starters and mutton rogan jhosh, vegetable makkhanwala, dal makhani, assorted bread basket, stuffed tandoori parantha and butter roti formed up our main course. Paneer malai tikka was cooked to perfection. Well, almost. The marination was superb, paneer was one of the softest I've had in town, succulence and taste uniformity given utmost bit of care and fairly decent portions teamed along with a tasty pudina chutney. Had it been slightly higher with its salt content, it would have been flawless. Drums in heaven was good. Nothing extra ordinary but appreciable amount of tender meat. Vegetable makkhanwala for me was the dish of the day. No unnecessary sweeteners in the name of butter/cream, rich blend of veggies along with soft chunks of paneer and a wonderfully thick gravy with a taste which still lingers on in my head. Roganjosh was not the best my friend has had. Although the mutton was cooked well and the oil quantity was in place, its taste did not come out the way it should have. Preparing roganjosh is an art in itself which they still need to get better at. Pretty similar was the case with dal makhani. Dal makhani needs to contain a flavor of garlic and ginger with a slight and subtle taste of tomatoes and onions which is brought about by long hours of simmered cooking. They lost the plot somewhere, there. Breads were outstanding with a special mention required for stuffed parantha. Liberally bestowed garnished paneer with a tasty filling of veggies and spread with butter on top, it was marvellous.
A pleasant experience overall but they'll do wonders for themselves with a slight betterment in tastes.
Whenever your big plans drop, you can always look at this small but compact dine-in. Very good food and wonderful services and also at pocket friendly prices. One suggestion would be is to have a better audio system. Definitely vfm.
A good place to visit even if you are part of a group that has multi-cuisine preferences - the menu has more than 20 pages and is very extensive! Don't expect authenticity and you will be rewarded. Ambience is very ordinary.
The prices seemed a bit high on the menu, but turned out to be very justified for the generous portions. For example, Chicken Drums of Heaven (₹220) was 8 foil-wrapped lollipops. Not only did it taste good, but it also surprised me with how much meat there was in each lollipop, with not more than a reasonable amount of batter. Malai Paneer Tikka (₹190) was sufficiently soft and expectedly mild in its flavour, with a bit of black crisp on the edges. Veg Spring Roll tasted good, without being too oily (which seems to be one of the most common crimes these days). Chilly Garlic Noodles (₹175) was amusingly presented with all its chillies garnished on top - again, a good eat. The only dish I wished could have been better was the Chicken Keema Biriyani (₹200) - there was something about the combination that just didn't make for a 'biriyani'. The French Fries (₹75) kept my toddler son happy; the fries were soft with just enough crisp.
The service was efficient, and the waitstaff made a concerted effort to ensure we had a good meal.
We wanted to try this place for breakfast but were too early to arrive. Hence visited it after a movie outing. The food is predominantly chinese. Must try panneer spinach soup. The quantity of the portions are also decent. Value for money. A small place, not much privacy but one can enjoy an amazing meal here.
Superb resturant with quality dishes. Though the size of it very small, never judge by it.
Shanghai chicken was awesome.
No limitations.
Anything on their menucard is a speciality.
I was stunned by the tasty food as well as good hospitality offered by Metro Dine Anna nagar. I tasted one of the best singapore noodles and scezhwan chicken rice here...Apart from tasty food, i must really mention about their warm greetings and hospitality.. Thanks guys... keep it up
Another gem to crown of best restaurants in Anna nagar that you could bet on with pride!
Good location! Although it was obvious that the place wld b conjested during the peak hours & too noisy when even a little crowded. Neat and no-nonsense kinda decor with a laid back look. It is quite busy all the while though.
We went around some 5pm on Sunday and were warmly greeted by Mr. Menon, made comfortable in our seats and served flawlessly through our whole time there. Menu has wide options and specialization in chinese cuisine. I felt totally satisfied with whatever we tasted.
Best part came when the bill arrived. We were given 30% off !! 😄😄 ' Happy hours ' it seems!! Well good that this place has happy hours off on Sundays even! 😆
Cool! Its sure gonna be one of my most haunted food zone over the days to come😉
Visited this joint with family. Food is great and the service is one of the best you can get @ Anna Nagar.
We ordered a non-veg kabab starter, breads, chicken bartha, Kheema biriyani. My parents esp. liked the Kheema biriyani a lot - had nice flavour & was something 'different'. The Kabab s were pretty nice also. Rounded off with couple of sizzling brownies with ice-cream. This probably was the only weak spot of the lunch - sizzling brownie was not really 'sizzling'.
Service was one of the best for a restaurant in this price range. Food arrived at a reasonable time and waiters were always around to help out before having to call for help. Ambiance is not fancy but is well maintained & well lit - with a nice window lighting that does not feel harsh.
The bill worked out to ~350/- per head in family of 4. One can expect it to be ~450/- per head with friends (or) if with a more foodie group. They seem to also have some sort of a loyalty program that rewards you for visits - at first glance it seemed 'practical' unlike those point based ones you get a lot these days - will have to look into it.
Overall loved the place for the food & service. We also ordered for home delivery yesterday via Zomato - so can attest the Briyani quality stayed the same. :)
Awesome taste in all dishes, must try popcorn spicy, murgh tandoori, murgh masala are so good and all food taste is so good aumbience also good

Knew this place from days when it used to be called Hill Greens. Not sure if it is under new management or otherwise. But, food here is good. We had soup, Mushrooms and Pukhet Fish for starters. It tasted really nice. Went here with my grumpy father (grumpy for his taste buds). His first reaction on the starter course was this tastes different, but I like it. That being said, this place is now a sure spot in the family. Well priced and portions appropriately sized. The main course was Chicken sizzler, Chicken Dumplings and Chinese chicken chop-suey. All three tasted good. no left overs, or hangovers from the food. To sum it all up for dessert wanted to suprise with fried Icecream, but I think 10:30 pm on Friday is a bit to late for it. So went for the falooda. and the sight and taste of it was so filling.
Be prepared for excellent quality north indian food at very reasonable prices and their paneer is just humongous. This place will not disappoint you.
Great place to hangout.. location is a creepy one though..!! Food taste iz good not grt..but the quantity iz so much..a single dish can fill tummy.. all should try thiz place onze..
Excellent reastaurant With great taste and wide range of menus , especially sizzlers are mouth watering ,far more better than big name restaurants .
Cute Restaurant in Nature Environment with Good and Tasty foods in Reasonable Price. Try all Combo items in Metro Dine. Don't forget to Dine in Metro Dine..
In such a busy life where you meet up with your friends very rarely, it's divine when u get a place which is both pocket-friendly and an excellent service ???? Go for it ..!

Hi
It's a great experience being there especially for Valentine's day. Good food at fair price and great hospitality. Ambience is very nice.
this hotel is formerly called as hill greens restaurant they are one of the best biriyani makers in annanagar . their grilled chicken is good and yun chow fried rice is good., their hospitality is excellent i would recommend it to a friend
Famous for its hospitality and Malai Tandoor.. A small restaurant with lots of mouth watering Mughal dishes. The food is so much better! Plus their prices are reasonable and the food beats the other places. If you haven't tried it yet and want Mughal dinner just go ahead and try this place. reservations recommendable due to its limited tables.
Guys the best restaurant in Anna nagar west. Malai tandoori here is said to be best in the town. Jus mouth watering. Prices are moderate. The only thing s ambience at the basement is not furnished
Guys, u need to believe me there was called Malai Tandoori which is only a starter, and fills our stomach with lots of taste wic hits ur deep tounge and feels lovely, but those guys will not serve you with mayonnaise as we need to ask for it,.
other then noodles, briyani and lamb sections are really awsm, am more attracted with Malai tandooooori...

Best around 600 for 2..
You can simply enter for your dinner and enjoy, as we use to spend twice a week,,...
I have known this restaurant for a long time. It used to be called Hill Greens. The restaurant has been completely renovated and has got a decent setting. The food is as usual pretty good. Their Kati rolls are the best in town and has been so ever since they started. The menu has generic Indian and Chinese items. Their mutton dishes are a speciality. Portions are generous and the pricing is justifiable. After speaking to the owner, I learnt that they were still in the process of getting everything set and functioning to their fullest.
I'm really astonished to the fact that this restaurant has maintained its quality for however long I remember going there.. Really like the new name of the restaurant and the Khatti rolls are the shiz. There is no other place in Chennai that serves such epic rolls.. Overall it's a must go and I'm not saying this just coz I know the owner really well but because it's a fact and it's awesome. #LOVETHISPLACE
The location itself is quite cosy and gives you a very comfy vibe when you see it. With decent parking space outfront and not very crowded, i liked it. The interiors remind you of casual diners in the US. They have quite an ample restaurant space..one in the top and a more bigger one downstairs. The first thing I MUST compliment EACH and every one at Metro Dine is the hospitality. It is by far the BEST i have seen ever!!! I would rate it 10/10 . I have been there twice and twice they never failed to amaze me! Every single person doesnt fake smile but really knows how to treat a customer..be it welcoming you or taking your order or getting you baby chairs or even baby sitting!!! Yes ! The people there actually happy took turns carrying my 2 year around and having fun..and he too had equal fun!!
Now coming the food..they have an variety menu right from American quick bites to Chinese to Indian. But from what we tasted , I would recommend the following :
- Sweet corn chicken soup / Cream of chicken soup = 9/10
- Crumbfried Chicken = Wonderful starter for kids = 10/10
- Fish fingers / Fish and chips = The taste was just superb! = 10/10
- Cheese and Garlic Kabab - THE BEST !! THEIR TRADEMARK DISH I SUPPOSE! - MUST TRY THIS OUT AND HAVE IT WHILE WARM - 10/10
- Chicken & Mushroom Creamy pasta - One of the BEST pastas we had tasted so far - 10/10
- Chicken sizzler - 9/10 !!
There were 3 of us the last we dined (me, my wife and my 7 yr old daughter) and the bill was Rs.840/= !!! Quite light on the wallet
They also keep having nice offers. The 1st time I went, there was a scratch card where u scratch and get the discount % mentioned on that. I won a 30% discount!!! The second time I went, they gave a card which mentioned a Rs.200 off on Rs.1000 bill the next time u dine!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!!
Metro dine.. Well well ...I never knew this place existed until I landed up here for a treat ...
The ambience is mediocre ... But the service is good .
We had ordered a few starters first ... Chicken lollipop was yummy ... Fish was well cooked and sauced well
The most attractive thing is the combo that they give during the afternoon. There are 2 types ...
1. Indian combo - a drink, Chicken biriyani , chicken 65 , chicken curry ,raita etc
2. Chinese combo - a drink, chicken fried rice , chilly chicken, 2 chicken wontons etc.
The combo was good for the price ...
I would suggest thus place as this place is a budget eat out ...

Absolutely wonderful experience ...... Small but beautiful place with a great hospitality..... Quality and quantity are apt for the price...I ordered a sizzler, Just one sizzler in the menu (chicken was the only option, would have been great if fish or red meat was available) but it was a huge sizzler with a bowl of rice, for Rs 400, two ppl would be happy with it... The spl faluda was just awesome..... But the best is the service & hospitality.... Would definitely be going back to try the other spls in the menu
Placed in a corner of a street covered with trees , a small but fabulously designed restaurant. A+ hospitality (the best i should say). Every waiter here knows English. They explained me how they prepare each dish when i ordered. They served everything very fast (within 5-10 mins). My favorite was volcano chicken , murg kadai , veg manchurian balls and devil chicken :D exceptional taste. When asked they said the Chinese chef was an ex chef of accord hotel. A little over priced than other similar restaurants but worth every penny. I would surely suggest this restaurant to everyone.

Can i visit this restaurant ?? - absolutely.
My second visit.. I didn't expect the oil content in the noodles.. this time sheek roll and chicken tangdi roll.. I would say it's fabulous in taste.. my good the oil was oozing out from the room.. side dish - lamb shredded is the best one here I think.. tastes home made.. and good.. I was unhappy about the oil content.. apart from that.. sane good food n service.. next time should tell them to reduce oil :-P.. kudos..
First visit ..What would I say. This is a renovated restaurant. By far worth for money.. when you enter into a restaurant you expect is good food and good service.. that's what you get it here... moved by the service and the way we were looked after.. noodles is excellent here.. tried chickrn tikka roll.. awesome to.. falooda was big n yummy.. decent ambience with great service.. worth to go again..
