I had smoked barbecue chicken and pizza fries. Really liked barbecue though it didnt feel like barbecue however quantity is good. The pizza fries was OK and the quantity was good. I liked the ambience and decor even though noone was there. Food is reasonable and tasty I loved the peach iced tea in drinks.

A faulty and slightly misleading google maps aided localisation of the restaurant- that is how my much awaited Kapao Dos experience started. And there I stood in front of the Writer's Cafe, irresolute about which direction to turn towards to finally get to the restaurant.
Was almost on the verge of entering the iconic and restricted Presidency Club , but was reprimanded by the security well in time on the grounds of trespassing.
Another 5 to 10 minutes, and finally I was standing in front of a moderately small looking outlet with 'Kapao Dos' written on top. I entered.
Ambience:- Serene, dark , almost somnolent with no acoustic jingoism , quite familiarly encountered at cafés and continental places of the same genre. The darkness and silence almost made the place romantic.
Food:-
Kurkure Chicken Momo:- Indeed, it not just fulfilled but almost surpassed all the expectations that I had surrounding it after reading all the wonderful reviews on Zomato . A crispy batter with a generous chicken filled stuffing, 6 in number; it had all the elements it needed to be called a gem
Palestinian Chicken Platter:- Was okay. Nothing extravagant. Did soothe my taste buds which are not quite oil and butter demanding.The Salad and French fries were good but nothing remarkable. However, the quality of the pita bread has to be pondered upon. Wasn't quite happy with it. Was a little hard to be chewed right at the very first bite. Overall, okayish ,but not recommendable for those who are looking for an oil dripping preparation of chicken platter.
24 layered Chocolate cake:- One of the specialities of the restaurant:- NOT AVAILABLE, as usual. Was quite a setback considering it is one of the most sought after deserts of the place. So instead went for the Mexican Chocolate Shake:- Was superb. Might not be visually as appealing as its counterparts in other cafes and restaurants- but taste wise was one of the best, atleast among what I have ever tasted
Hibiscus flavoured Ice Tea:- Again wasn't bad. But wasn't anything overtly remarkable either. Seemed more of a sugar(and Rooh Afza-??) infused tea with cubes of ice in it. Had anticipated a unique Hibiscus flavour and aroma blended with the freshness of tea leaves. But that certainly was missing.
Overall:- DEFINITELY RECOMMENDABLE to all the continental gourmets out there. But you need to plan your car parking in advance coz there wasn't any designated Car parking area visible in the vicinity
Half a star deducted for the unsatisfactory pita bread and another half for the unavailability of the much sought after 24 layered cake.
I had the Vietnamese Cold Coffee and chicken steamed momos here. Safe to say, they were both fabulous. The coffee was so refreshing, I was sad when it got over. The steamed momos were cooked to perfection with the chicken being fresh and moist, and the crust was of the right thickness.
Would definitely come here again and try more options. #Kapao!
I had the infamous kurkure momos, chicken steamed momos and mac and cheese nuggets. Absolutely loved them all. They serve the momos with Mayo and when asked for spicy chutney, we were given Sriracha.
Totally missed having a spicy chutney/dip that accompanies the momos! Also had hibiscus iced tea which was good.
This place in Egmore offers a variety of dishes at the best price. Their kurkure momos were crunchy and i loved their cheesy chow momos which was served on nachos. But unfortunately they didn't have their 24 layer chocolate cake which i wanted to try.
Ordered Momo's. Steamed mixed vegetable and fried chicken Momo. it's hot, yummy and crispy. Neat packing and good taste.

I just live their momos. They have an assortment of fries as well which are just amazing. The taste is so good that it makes it worth for me to make the trip. A quaint little place which has a lot of good food that is delicious and filling.

Located right opposite Ethiraj college, Kapao Dos is a budget friendly outlet serving various cusines.
The ambience is nice with quirky posters on the walls and enough seating space. They have amazing vietnam coffee! So rich and at the same time affordable!
Coming to the food we tried the Kurkure moms which was just amaaaaaazing! I could go there just for these. Crispy on the outside and soft and melting on the inside. These momos are to die for!
We also ordered the mac and chicken which is basically mac and cheese with chicken. This was really good too.
For the mains we ordered the Korean fire chicken, which was bascially a chicken curry in a bowl with baked cheese on top. This was served with a portion of plain white rice. It was just an okay dish.
Overall a nice budget friendly place, definitely worth visiting for their momos!

This place has really tasty momos and fries (but, a bit oily)! We tried the Thai Chilli Fries, Fried Mix Veg Momos and the Mexican Burrito Bowl. The fries and momos were brilliant and so were the sauces that came with it! However, the burrito bowl was pretty average (tasted a lot like bland rajma rice). Prices are reasonable and service is quick!

This place is a kicker for momos and their much talked about 24layer cake..so we ordered a cold coffee,Kurkure momos,pasta Alfredo,pizza fries and an Oreo ice-cream.
The service was quick and every dish tasted great..especially the Kurkure momos were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside,while the pizza fries had a mix of pizza sauce and mayo with toppings of jalapeños,the fries were crispy as well,pasta Alfredo was a hit..creamy and delicious..last but definitely not the least,the Oreo icecreme and the cold coffee..they were a total finisher for the entire meal..
Kudos to the team for putting up such good food at an affordable price.

I will never get over those momos. The fried chicken momos and the schezwan sauce they gave with it was mindblowing. We ordered one plate first then we ordered 5 more because of the taste. A must try.
A few months ago when was in Chennai, my colleague introduced me to this place. And ohhhh boy!!! Was I pleased to have discovered them!!
We ordered their 24 layer pastries for all our staff. AWESOMEEEEE does not do justice to it. It was one of the best desserts I have had in a long time.
Since then whenever I come to Chennai I have been meaning to visit this place. Its right below our office on the ground floor- unfortunately couldn't make it. So yesterday my colleague and I made a special effort and got out in the evening.
Unfortunately the 24 layer was not there. Tried 2 other slices- can't remember their names. They too were good but not as good as the 24 layered one.
Must visit place for everyone with a sweet tooth!!

Just wanted to fill that little gap in our stomach. Been wanting to visit here for long, I decided to come here.
Nice ambience, with funky writings on one side of the wall and photos hanged on the other. It's really a cool decor 👌
Started with steamed momos. It was so soft and the outside layer was thin, the veggies inside were steamed very well. Definitely great momos just like the ones they serve in Banglore. But the dip (jalapeno, and another one idk) was disappointment though. It was a let down. It was yum though, never should be served with momos.
Ordered Alfredo penne pasta as main course for the night. It looked really delicious, as you can see in the picture I've uploaded. Got my hopes high, it was bland with first two spoons, then it started to grow up on me, now, I started to love it 🤩. Generous amount of olives and corns was perfectly sauteed with pasta. It was a bit too greasy for me, but that's the way it should be I guess.
Oh, and the bread it was totally yum, never have I experienced in other restaurants to be served with such delicious bread cooked with garlic butter and topped with chilli flakes. Really kudos to the chef for doing this 💯
Finished the day off with cold iced tea. A perfect drink to sign off with. It was soothing 🤑

They are pretty much known for their take on momos - chicken, veg or kurkure. But the person that I am made me experiment with the Mexican chicken burrito bowl. It had a some grilled chicken, salsa, sour cream, nachos, beans and cilantro rice all served together and portioned for two.
I liked that it had some sweet, hot, salty, sour, crunchy and tangy notes throughout the dish. It was priced at ₹250 and pretty good for two. Thumbs up to that.
Kapao dos is located right next to ethiraj college. This is a small place which is hardly noticed. It can seat only around 20 people. It serves comfort food. The staff displayed hospitality. The place has creative interiors and the food is a bit spicy.
Hits: barbeque fries, 3 cheese bake,Korean fire chicken and the 24 layer cake was sublime...
Misses: Nuggets,cheesy Alfredo
Tried the tomato sauce pasta, BBQ sauce fries with chicken, Fried chicken momos, and the best of all, the Vietnamese coffee (I alone had two of those).

So I recently visited this place, and I had to update the review. It's a tiny place with decent ambience and amazing service.
We finally got to try their famous 24-layered cake. It was mind-blowing! Rs. 210 for something that filling and creamy was totally worth it. I had to personally call the manager to reserve a slice of the cake before they ran out of it. He was very friendly and gladly obliged.
The Palestinian chicken platter is my favourite dish there. The grilled chicken breast, the fries and salad were delightful. The chicken was soft from all the marinating, juicy and very well-cooked. The pita bread was warm and very nice.
Delivery review:
I'm yet to visit this place and I've ordered from here twice. Their spicy pomodoro pasta is too oily but for some reason I didn't mind overlooking that part. The portion was huge and it was loaded with pieces of grilled chicken, onion, mozzarella, roasted pepper and basil leaves.
However, I did not like their creamy mushroom sauce pizza. It was too creamy and looked like muck in a box. The chicken balls in the pasta were bland and the garlic bread was burnt.

This place is more than just what that meets the eye, almost every item on the menu has gone through enough tests for taste palette balance and your sure to hit it right with any. TAKE MY WORD.
They may not look plush interior wise but their creations, are something beyond,.. dammn 😘😘. Eventhough this place happened as a mistake when I stumbled for some desserts after my lunch rampage in NORTH EAST KITCHEN but from then on they've stuck quite close!

- Palestinian Chicken Platter
A wholesome meal in terms of flavour profile and quantity with the chicken being well marinated and grilled (personally loved the way how it was cut and served) along with kuboos, fries and some salad. I really should commend on the way the chicken was cooked for it was justright in everyway one would expect!
- Butter Chicken Nuggets
I dare you take this in single bite cause only that way you get the wholesome experience of crunchiness the butter chicken gravy its topped with and the cheese the oozes along. Its stuff that's what dreams are made of 😍
- Cheesy Vada Burger bite
We all love burgers and there's no take backs on that, and the same applies to that of the Indian burger as well THE Vada Pav. It's strikes a size between the not so holdable big juicy ones and those a sip of chai and vada pav kind. And I was to see them being served with those chillies as well. Loved it 👍
- Vietnamese Coffee
Ok this is something thats not a familiar territory to me, yet I kinda dig it, cause in this type is where I could really feel the caffeine hitting me right away and waking myself up eventhough it was 8pm (I regret not regret it). Totally something I would suggest you people to try
- Mexican Chocolate Shake

What will you do if you're given two equally lovable subjects and made to choose one, you either pick one or you say it's hard long enough and then pick one, here you don't need to do such! Am not used to white sauce used as a base in pizzas actually i've never even heard such exists, but surprisingly the use of the along with shallow fried shrimps as a topping is something I enjoyed, cause the sauce burst was nice and took place instead of cheese and I loved it totally!
- California Calling
Another great variety I would love to have during parties or get-togethers, gone are those Domino's which held their market for long!
One more thing I had to give it to them is that since these varieties are available only on delivery they have made sure the base is not crispy nor soggy leaving it to become hard over time since it has to travel some distance!!
If possible try and chat with the two lovely hoomans, you'll fall in love with the space even more! 💯

Was trying to make it in time for dinner and had ordered on the way from Kapao Dos. They have a varied menu featuring different cuisines like Asian and European and some American Burgers thrown in for good measure.
We ordered Vampire Killer Nuggets and Steamed Chicken Momos for starters. Nuggets are a vegetarian starter and the momos had very little meat filling.
We took advantage of the varied menu and had ordered Spicy Pomodoro Pasta, Chicken 3 Cheese Bake, Smokey Barbecue Chicken, Chicken the Schezwan Stir Fry Bowl, Paneer the Lahori Curry Bowl and Palestinian Chicken Platter.
I tried smoky bbq chicken and I found that was smothered with fries with only a small piece of chicken breast though it tasted pretty good was disappointed with the quantity. Palestinian Chicken Platter is one of their best sellers and that was again a piece of chicken breast grilled with middle eastern spices and came with 2 slices of pita bread, a salad and very small container of humus and tzatiki. I felt that they should give us more of the sauces. All the other dishes were quite average tasting and I feel that the pasta bake would have tasted better if we had eaten it at the restaurant.
For Dessert we could not resist ordering the 24 layer cake which tasted good and I got a crunch in each bite from the caramel.
Known in the college crowd this place has many more amazing dishes apart from the 24 layered cake and the Momos. We started of with a couple of beverages, which were really amazing. And we had a cheesy Vada pav, which was one of my favourite dishes there. The Vada pav had the right amount of spice and flavour. They also had a couple of rice bowls and pizzas(white lady). The pizza had peices of garlic which was oven baked for 8 hours and added a chewyness to it. It was one of the best pizzas I've had. Had the right thickness and right amount of cheese as well. The desserts are the best here. We were served a heaven and hell cake which was the best. That dish is highly recommended. The other desserts were apple caramel cake and frozen whiskey tiramisu which were amazing as well. One of the best things about this place is most of the dishes are made for scratch in the kitchen which makes it the best!

It's located right opposite to Ethiraj College and parking won't be a problem here. The service was good with a pretty quick order processing time. They have an other outlet at Alwarpet which is only for delivery and take-aways, do not forget to try some freshly made pizzas there.
Kapao Dos is known for it's 24 layered chocolate cake and the momos. But they have a lot more to offer than just them. Majority of the dishes served are made in-house which helps them contain the taste every bite.
The 'Oreo Milkshake' was really a pleasant way to start off the dinner. The shake was thick and was dominating at the right parts, just loved it. 'Cheese Vada Burger Bite' is a hybrid of the Indian vada pav and the burger. Its basically a bigger and better version of the vada pav. 'Mac N Chicken Nuggets' was my personal favourite here. The chicken was really tender and delicious.
The pizza was directly delivered from the alwarpet branch. The crust was well made and the edges were soft too. One of the best pizzas I have had in recent times, you can customise the spice levels and toppings according to your taste buds. We also tried the 'Veg Lahori Curry Bowl'. I generally don't prefer having rice bowls but this had ticked the right boxes.
The desserts would literally take you to heaven. The 'Apple Caramel Cake' was an interesting option as you can feel chunks of apple fruit every bite. The 'Heaven and Hell Cake' would definitely be the first choice for chocolate lovers.

Kapao Dos, the name got me interested! After a quick investigation, found out that they served a bit of everything – American, Chinese, Italian, Asian! Decided to try! Planned a quick lunch with a friend right away. I know the place, right opposite to Ethiraj College, inside a complex called Wellingdon Estate, where a few other restaurants are located too. Last time I was here, was when I visited North East Kitchen. This place looked quite similar to North East Kitchen, small, and in two levels. We literally had a shock when we saw the board ‘CLOSED’ prominently displayed on the door. Still went ahead and opened the door and asked them why! That’s when he said they’re open and flipped the board to the other side that now read ‘OPEN’. After a sigh of relief, we entered !
Tried the Kurkure momos, Vietnamese coffee, Alfredo pasta and rice bowls. All the dishes were very attuned to my tastes and were very yummy 😁 the brownie was very tasty as well 😁 the staff were polite, courteous and very friendly, very nice experience 😁
After a hectic day at work finally chose a place to hang out with friends and it turned out be a perfect one because of the ambience, food and very good service!! Now ended up even ordering online😊😊Would recommend to try it out!!!

Kurkure fried momos(chicken) - was crispy on the outside and the filling was good as well.. but there was nothing special about it. A plate of momos got over in a giffy, so there's no pic it😑. Probably will try this dish once again when I visit them again.
Fondue fries(veg & chicken) - homemade cheese sauce was just yummmm 😋😋😋 and the fries were crispy.
Smokey barbeque chicken - served with pita bread, salad and fries. The presentation of this dish was amazing. Chicken was juicy with the right amount of spice.
Palestinian chicken plate - served with salad and fries, juicy chicken making us wanting more.
Schezwan stir fry bowl(veg & chicken) - rice topped with schezwan gravy( veg/chicken). Quantity was good and taste was excellent.
Cheesy Alfredo with corn, mushroom and homemade cheese sauce - this is dish is ultimate. I loved it♥️♥️.
It's not over yet😂😂. How can we not try the desserts.

When kids are around, there should always be a stack of French fries somewhere ! That’s what happened yesterday afternoon, the nephew wanted French fries and I opened the freezer to find no bags of frozen French fries, sadly. Looked online for the place closest to us serving French Fries and found Kapao Dos! Placed an order via swiggy (no idea why it wasn’t available on Zomato at that time) for French Fries and some Chicken Momos.
As always, they delivered quickly and the food was packaged well and hot !
The menu option didn’t have normal plain French fries so I ordered the masala ones and requested for no masala — they delivered ! We received plain French fries. Yayyy. And enough to fill a kids’ stomach to the brim, plus let his aunt steal some ;). The fries were good. I’m sure the nephew would say they didn’t serve enough ketchup with it and it’s good there’s always some at hand at home, but overall delicious.
The Momos were for the Uncle. Some chicken Momos, I feel that the filling could improve a bit.

Kapao dos is a very cozy and cool place. The ambience is so nice and calm. Staffs are freindly. But coming to the food this restaurant does a very good job. I was waiting outside for the restaurant to open with empty stomach ....but they said that it will take a few more minutes to open the shop. Atlast they opened it for 12.10am then we entered into the shop and ordered the food but the shop owner was too kind, he gave us a compliment of fries for that wait. That was soo sweet of that man.

Located on a busy road within a complex. Well done interiors and seats about 30 people at once. Ample space for parking as well within the complex.
Food :
If you're a Momo lover, you can try out the different flavors of Momos here. Been a fan of their momos from the time they had a Momo festival. The pizza fries is also something one must try. The 3 cheese bake was decent, nothing special about it. The portions I wouldn't say are great, but surely not less.

Located in the worldly Wellington Estate, opposite Ethiraj College, Kapao Dos has become a favourite in recent times. They've ample parking space, but I wonder what happens when the parking is full! A cost cafe run by a chef couple. It couldn't get any better!
I've tried an array of delicacies here, none of which have failed me. Vietnamese coffee, kurkure momos, meal bowls, mushroom and cheese melt are a few must haves. They're all simple dishes packed with flavour. Their dessert section always leaves me in awe. I'm still not over their MONKey business dessert that I had a few days back. They always have the much raved about '24 layered' chocolate cake and a delectable cheesecake. The menu is pretty elab and you'll be spoilt for choice.
A meal for two will cost about ₹800/- which I feel is total VFM here.
Ps. Their dessert section is mostly eggless, they got me there.
It’s a tiny place but has got some mouth watering food😋..the Kurkure momos ..vampire killer nuggets n mushroom sauce pasta were a hit..it has equal varieties of veg n non-veg options..didn’t like the drinks much except for the smoothie ..finally came in the mouth watering desert ..24 layer cake ..it came along with a scoop of vanilla ice cream n yeah 😂who wouldn’t love it ...overall a good spot for the teenagers to hangout as well as have tasty n filling food for a pocket friendly budget .!

We once went there for the momomia fest . Ordered al of the momos in the menu 😂 and I personally loved the banana Nutella and the chicken dumplings . Really good ❤️ And also the pasta 😘 It’s SUCHA a great hangout for all of the cool lads nearby. 😊👌🏼🎊
The best ever customer service and the owner was polite enough to suggest and explain about the food throughout our order and the food was excellent we enjoyed every biteof it. For appetizers we ordered kurkure momos which is their signature dish it was yummy and crunchy and the in house made chicken nuggets in the most spiciest sauce called bhut jolokia a spiciest chilly 🤤🤤😡 for drinks Vietnamese iced coffee was pretty good and ice tea with orange flavoured was very light not great. For main course Korean fire chicken gravy topped with a bed of gooey cheese it was lip smacking served with rice A must try !! And Indonesian sambaloelak prawn bowl was okayish prawn was a bit uncooked.
For dessert 😍😍 apple upside down with ice cream was a bit dry lacking moisture and mango cheese cake with fresh mango compote was the winner and a chocolate cake which wasn't great overall a good feeling for here and I would visit here again.

Stoners Revenge Chicken Burger: Heavy on the stomach. Succulent ground chicken patty with mayo and nachos. First time having nachos on my burger. Towards the end the nachos became soggy. Rating 4/5
Barbecue chicken: sliced chicken breast with a yummy sauce on top served with salad and fries. The salad had reasonably crispy lettuce, black olives and olive oil. Rating 4/5
Dumpling and noodle broth: A soupy dish with lots of chicken momos. Didn't taste great, maybe cos I tasted an eastern dish after my western (burger). Rating 3/5.
Ambience: great ambience, very friendly owners, good air conditioning, nice music, cosy small restaurant. Staff and owners don't rush us. Rating 5/5.
Price: reasonable. Not dirt cheap but reasonable.
Heaven and hell cake: for Indian standards it was really good. Rating 5/5.

I'm guilty of not having gone here even after accepting an invite to visit (from the owner) some few months back. My bad, I just couldn't drop in before but luckily I remembered to visit this place a few days back for Dinner. Quaint little place with neat interiors, which also houses a small patisserie called 'Crumb' inside the same place. Nicely done menu which is simple yet varied. Service was good. Except for a small confusion with billing in the end, everything went smooth.
Okay, so... Call me an amateur but I'm yet to figure out how to master eating French Fries with Dry Toppings on it. Thai Chilli Fries (₹170/Chicken) was too good, but I ate all the components separately. Ended up picking up the peanuts after finishing the Fries as they'd settled down at the bottom. Both, the Fried Chicken Momo (₹105) and Kurkure Momo (₹180) were distinctively different from each other and extremely well made. Momos looked smaller in size compared to what one gets to see normally in other places, but the Momo skin was thin and the filling was good. Loved the Ginger Tomato Sauce that came with the Momos. I think it's a brilliant idea to make up for the missing spicy chutney for Momos.
I'm not cut out for eating 'overly' spicy food. I couldn't survive one small mouthful of their Bhut Jolokia Chicken Nuggets (₹150/4Pcs). God bless the ones who are going to try in future. I don't know how my friends finished the plate. I seriously couldn't see through my watering eyes. But, by the time I got hold of myself, the plate was empty. Bong Bomb (₹150/4Pcs) was an absolute delight, it tasted more like a Chicken Chaat.
Surprised to see, Buldak in their Menu. The Korean Fire Chicken (₹300) wasn't as fiery as I'd feared it will be. Probably, the cheese crust balanced it out. It was unique making you addictive with every mouthful. The Martaban Masala (₹265) is my type totally as I love anything and everything with hint of pickle/pickle masala in it. But, would have appreciated a little less of Kasoori Methi. It was more like Butter Chicken Masala than Martaban Masala because of that.
Couldn't find out the hell in Heaven & Hell (₹265) from their Crumb Patisserie. It was pure heaven.
Total bill was ₹1775 along with one Brookie (₹40) and 2 Vietnamese Iced Coffee (₹60/Cup).
Someday, I hope to honour my promise of meeting the Chef couple, who own this place and probably find out the reason behind the name Kapao Dos.

This is a small cozy place tucked in the side of a popular complex opp. to ethiraj college. The cafe had a small mezzanine area, that’ll be ideal for small groups to hangout and enjoy.
Our order : Vietnamese coffee, veg bbq fries, crispy cheesy chicken vada pav, chicken steamed momo, mixed veg spicy bbq momo, juicy lucy burger(beef), stoners revenge burger(chicken), farmers burger(veg), ‘24’ cake.
We started out with their signature dish, momos. We tried both the steamed and fried variant. The stuffing was very flavourful and generous.
The cheesy fries was topped with a tangy bbq sauce and the fries were very fresh and crispy.
The vada pav was very true to its name, very crispy and cheesy, and perfect for a short eat.
The juicy lucy burger(beef) was recommended by the staff, so we went ahead with it. The beef was stuffed with cheese, juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside.
The stoners revenge burger(chicken) had a patty topped with nachos and cheese, which had a unique twist to it.
The farmers burger(veg) had a crispy potato patty and a strong herbed flavour.
The Vietnamese coffee with the combination of strongly brewed coffee and sweet condensed milk topped with ice cubes. It was very new and refreshing.
Finally for desserts, a 24 layered gooey chocolate mud cake served with a scoop of ice cream. The salted caramel and butter scotch oozing out of the warm cake was such a delight.
The staff were extremely friendly and prompt in service.
Would definitely RECOMMEND this place.
I walked in here with Sreemanti Dutta to check it out while waiting for a parcel from a nearby restaurant. We decided to taste the Brookies (Brownie Cookies) and the Nutella Bomb Cookie.. The Nutella bomb was crisp on the edges and soft centred, the way a good cookie should be, though the Nutella itself seemed missing. The Brookie was dark and fudgy and a pleasure to eat.
I also decided to try the Vietnamese coffee, and it didn't disappoint.
Would love to come back for a deeper exploration of the menu..

It tasted as good as it looked! ❤️ This place is a recently opened cafe that’s off a busy main road. The most lovely chef couple runs @kapaodos and it’s an absolute pleasure to listen to their varied culinary exploits. If you’re lucky and manage to catch them on a not so busy day, you might even get to hear their love story over chai! (Quite a story there, like any additional incentive was needed) 💯

PALESTINIAN CHICKEN PLATTER
Given that the Mediterranean cuisine has always been the favorite, it came as no surprise when this was the decision of the meal. The chicken was lovely and succulent and had an interesting flavour running through every bite. The tzatziki sauce was smooth and added the freshness to the plate. The pita bread was made well, and had a light texture. The only thing that was missing on this platter was the hummus. A good chickpea hummus is the essence of every Mediterranean platter and therefore any platter without it is quite incomplete. The good thing, they’ve taken these needs into consideration and will be introducing it as part of the otherwise great platter from next time. Have a good platter everyone! 💘

It was noon, We were terribly hungry. Confused where to go for the weekend and then finally after so much of debate back and forth decided to hit
This the second time I am visiting this place, And was curiously going through the menu to try something different this time, that's when I saw Vietnamese coffee which was enticing
I wanted to try this coffee for a long time so I went for it
About the ingredients it's black coffee with condensed milk which had that both bitter and sweet taste to it, which was quiet refreshing to my amazement😁
Next thing that caught our eye in their new menu was a dessert which was named 24, Which had luscious 24 flavorful layers to it
"24 layers of gorgeousness"
Which consisted of mud sponge, chocolate mousse and salted caramel with vanilla ice cream to go with it
Every bite of the cake was like taking me to cloud 9
It's a must try dessert and i would totally give it 10/10
Meal for two costs approximately 600 INR (Worth every paise)

1) 24 layers - A decadent creation,A really rich and yummy chocolate cake 🍰 , Very dense & the vanilla ice cream goes really well with it ♥️. Every chocoholics delight, But i prefer one of their other creations HEAVEN AND HELL which is just scrumptious 💥.
Love everything nutella then this one is for you
2) Nutella Bomb -This one is literally the bomb. It has a generous filling of Nutella, a thick middle layer guys I'm not kidding 😍❤️. I'm totally in love with this.
3) Heaven and hell - My absolute favorite, a treat for your palate. This is literally heaven.
4) Vietnamese iced coffee - Yum yum yum this combo of coffee and condensed milk is something to rave about ! Tiny but really yummy 💖. Don't forget to mix the condensed milk 🥛with the coffee.
5) Nutty double choco - Generously nutty while deliciously chocolatey .
6) Bhut jolokia - For all the spice lovers out there. Just go for this. Extremely spicey 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
7) Juicy Lucy - Heavy on the tummy and just as yummy 🍔

A really nice cafe. The owner is very friendly and explains each and every thing before you order . The place is a small place. They have really good cakes as well. Apparently the 24layer cake is their signature in cakes and so is the Heaven & Hell . The Mac and Chicken is really good and so were their burgers. Waiting for them to get the main-lunch courses launched.
Just for a break from regular work, stopped here for a cup of ice tea... and then I see the menu!! Hmm.. Had an Lemoned Ice Tea and something unique Paan Mojito this was something unique I have had ... I mean I have had paan flavoured Ice but a tea... this was new and refreshing.
To it I added the hot yummy and delicious Pizza flavoured topped French fries.. they were so finger licking!!
Couldn’t stop with it and I added these Kurkure momos... hmm never seen a fried momos, it was contrast to the its conventional hot steamed classic momos! I enjoyed the overall experience and wait the total was almost ₹450/- It was worth the money.
Came here for a quick lunch. We ordered Pizza chicken fries, vampire killer and cheesy garlic pasta...They served awesome food and the service was swift too. Vampire killer was my personal favourite. Would love to visit again to try their other dishes.

Visited this place on a Friday evening, and it was without any crowd.
The service was a bit on the slower side provided the fact that the place was empty.
The waiters had very little knowledge about the food being prepared.
But it was really tasty.
The Lebanese Vada Pav was juicy and good to eat.
The kurkure momos and the pizza fries were really tasty but the fries got saggy after a few minutes.
The ice cream cookie was really nice but our mouths couldn't fit it in without making a mess.
Kapao Dos is located in Wellington estate opposite Ethiraj College in Egmore.The menu has a little bit of everything thrown together, ordered for veg momos, barbeque fries,cheese vada pav and Vietnamese coffee. The barbeque fries was one of the best I, ve had in recent times and the vada pav was pretty yum. The momos were decent.Vietnamese coffee is basically coffee with condensed milk served chilled, felt the quantity of coffee could be improved, taste wise no complaints .Go there for the fries.!

So what's in the pic? Yes, it's a chocolate cake, but no ordinary one. Named as 24, It's 24 ( I counted 25, but I'm not sure 😂♥️) layers of mud sponge cakes, chocolate mousse, caramel, butterscotch and duhh "goodness". Served with a small scoop of vanilla ice cream, and I'm an insisting on "small" , as it tasted so good together and the slice is huggggge, so do the math. It is priced at 210 a slice, basically 8.75 rupee per layer 😋😋♥️♥️. Gonna leave it to you to rate it for it's a dime for me. 🍰🍰

Yus! You got it right! It's this chicken from @kapaodos . Grilled chicken in a mushroom, cheese sauce with fries and salad to go with. The sauce complements the chicken sooooo well that you're left wanting for more. I'm not even kidding, hands down, best chicken in cheese sauce that I've had. Kudos to the chef for this amazing chicken indulgence 🤤🤤😍♥️. Priced at 210/-, the only flip side might be the quantity but let's be honest here, it's not always about the quantity is it??. I highly recommend that you give it a try. I personally enjoyed it.

Momomia Momo Festival alert on Facebook page made me visit this tiny yet warm restaurant situated inside Wellington estate, Egmore. It was too crowdy than expected but the service was friendly and understanding. I ordered steamed mixed vegetable Momo and tandoori momo. The steamed momos were yummy along with their speciality house dip and chilli sauce which complemented the momos so well. Both the momos were well cooked and the vegetables were neatly cut allowing us to frame the picture perfectly!
