Malabar Biriyani Centre - Chennai (Madras) - Photo album

Good food experience at the famous thalappakatti restaurant. The pepper chicken was very well cooked and spicy. The Biriyani also lives up to the standard it boasts for.
I liked the food portion size and taste everything. But was bit disappointed for charging Rs51.55 on parcel containers and they gave the 4 briyani's in cardboard box and only the small side dish boxes were plastic.
Mutton biryani and peri peri chicken must try !
If you want a calm and happy family lunch in this, otherwise busy restaurant. Please visit on Tuesdays. As always Biryani is the main attraction. Chettinad chicken is a must try. Liver fry is not upto the mark. Overall a good experience.
Nice ambience with authentic biryani flavour.
If you wanna eat the authentic biriyani visit Thalappakatti.Best biriyani in town you get in here .Also all dishes of mutton are equally yummy . Fish fry is also a must try .Little pricey but food is really yum
Best dishes served here.if any group wants a mix of all items they should order fish masala chicken 65 biriyani pepper barbecue and mutton soups
Flavour of briyani is good and it's ultimate when it's hot. Also try black pepper chicken / thipori chicken and Kuchi mutton ;) yummy!
Overall experience was ok. Quite pricey. Regarding service, spoons are not available, customer has to keep reminding. To clean up dishes after meal, customer has to remind. Noises from kitchen, staff need to be energetic. Not crowded on a weekday. Food was satisfactory. Can spend an amount of time
Good shop with nice ambiance and tasty food
