Dwaraka is the restaurant attached to Nandhiniee Sweets. They have authentic vegetarian menu and the dishes were very tasty. Its a cozy place to visit and the restaurant can accomodate around 24 members. Had Thatte idly authentic dish of Karnataka and it was just awesome. The idly was so soft with milagai podi sprinkled on top with mint, coconut and tomato chutney. Sambar was not the regular ones you get in any restaurant in chennai.. Its kerala type of sambhar with coconut in it. They have other soeciisties like Puttu, cheratta puttu, appam, ela adai, kara adai etc They also have sweet and savouries section

My all time favorite place in chennai to have lunch and breakfast. The restaurant’s ambient is peaceful, it is super clean and hygienic place. The menu is wide spread and the taste is just perfect of all the dishes. I have had their special “Matta toce dosa” which is just above excellent and appam curry , pav bhaji, fried pav bhaji and much more. The owner is very friendly and takes of every customer personally. Food is just yummy. 5 star ,no disappointment

I usually don't review restaurants as they are hit or miss, but Nandhini Sweets - Dwaraka merits a review. They have a good variety of South Indian food and it all tastes very good. The service is excellent and they go out of their way to satisfy our tastes. The price is nominal than our typical branded restaurants. I ordered to-go and when we went home and opened the bag, we were pleasantly surprised by the packing, which had very less plastic and quality paper boxes. The aroma kindled our expectations and and the taste didn't disappoint us. Could taste the authentic ghee taste in Sambar Idli. Each one of the member were highly satisfied - from my grandmother's thattu idli to my daughter's Red rice Paneer dosa. Highly recommend for family.

Nandhiniee sweets has always had its own place in my heart since I'm a big time fan of their bhel Puri (i have mostly tasted it from the valasaravakkam branch). I have been having their chaat from my school days and trust me, they've never failed to impress me with their quality and taste when it comes to chaat. I recently visited their Kodambakkam branch and had one thattu idli and a dahi Puri. Both the dishes were so good in terms of taste and quality. But the quantity is less compared to other chaat shops in the city for the rates that they provide it for! and i see that as their only minus point. Otherwise I would give a 9 on 10 for Nandhiniee Sweets.

Visited on 19 Mar 23, . dwaraka is the restaurant attached to it. Had Matta rice Dosa and it was tasty and stomachful. Vada sambar was awesome. They give different sambar for idly and dosa which is unique. They attempt to give items which are not available commonly in other places. So for sure you can enjoy your food here

My first experience at dwaraka from nandhinie sweets, and it is worth writing a review. I ordered their idli, pesaratu and appam coconut milk. Firstly blown over by the quality of the food even over delivery.Their accompanying chutney and sambhar was very generous and tasty. All the three dishes were equal delicious but top marks to the appam and coconut milk, the appam was really soft and coconut milk, with the right sweetness. Their portioning is really good and price range is really commendable. Definitely will try again

5 stars for the Dwaraka restaurant and Nandhiniee Sweets - total brand and image makeover. Dwaraka has south Indian (4 States) cuisine and special mini tiffin for each State; and varities of each State. Sweets are good and better than similar South Indian joints. I love the banana leaf packing too; and the special cardboard box - I love Dwaraka's packing because these days most of other restaurants pack in aluminium covers and plastic boxes.

For me, Nandhiniee food is comfort food. It holds a special place in my heart. It has a unique cuisine and has the right amount of spices which makes the food finger-licking good. From the simple yet lip-smacking street side pani-puri to the traditional aapam kadalakari, you can trust them to make it authentic and delicious. Though all the food on the menu are great my recommendations would be as follows: If you’re in the mood for something simple or a snack : Pani Puri, Chukka Puri, Veg Classic Sandwich, Pav Bhaji If something heavy and dinner like : Sambhar Idli, Aapam Kadalakari, Fried Pav Bhaji, Paneer Paratha, Pesarattu If you want something sweet or like a dessert food : Rasamalai, Mothi Laddu, Basandhi, Kulfi So, feel free to try anything on the menu because you’re in for a treat. Great service, friendly manager and yummy food/sweets. It has an authentic atmosphere and is a great place to hang out with your friends or spend some time with family. Well then, go ahead and have a feast at my favourite restaurant !!

The quality of the food here is amazing. I regularly get the following: 1. Thattu Idli 2. Masala Dosa 3. Appam with milk I personally recommend the Appam. Super soft and spongy it is truly a satisfying experience. 4/5 Just because there is always room to beat one’s own record. :)
