Namma Kitchen is an amazing new restaurant, with some authentic Biryanis and a great spread of starters, my favorites so far- chicken satay, Phuket fish, mutton biryani, Thai curry with rice and to wrap it all their signature fried ice cream. Have to mention, the service is really prompt and just about right, keep it going guys, would love to try more dishes soon

I’ve been a regular customer of Namma Kitchen for about 1 and a half years. Their biryanis are awesome. My personal favorite is the Special NK Chicken 65 biryani. Their tandoori is also good. Service is also excellent. However, they have to work a little on their grilled chicken.
Such a good restaurant which could not be spotted very easily. But, once you enter, the ambiance looks good and the courtesy of the staffs. We went as 6 persons and ordered 2 soup, one chicken starter and 6 varieties of briyani (veg, egg, chicken, spl chicken, mutton and prawn). All the briyani's were of nice taste. and the quantity of briyani is also to be mentioned. It takes good effort for us to complete a briyani. Such a great experience it was for us. I highly recommend this restaurant.
The food was awesome. Especially the chicken briyani taste was unbelivable. We came as a family and enjoyed a lot. But the food can be served little faster because our order came half an hour after ordering. Other than that restaurant is awesome.

4 stars because, The Taste varies on a weekly basis. Briyanis Tastes the same and a Huge Fan of your Madras 65 Briyani 😍. The other dishes are sometimes extraordinary yet sometimes really meh !

This restaurant deserves a 5 star just for the taste itself. The mughlai chicken dum biryani was too good. One added bonus was the welcome drink. But not getting judgemental for the taste of that drink. Location is great. A spacious and well decorated family restaurant. A nice place for biryani lovers.
We ordered Family pack chicken biriyani and all of us seemed to enjoy it. Taste was good and quantity was more than enough for a meal. Chicken seemed fresh and juicy.
I am a regular customer at this place. I find one dish particularly good( infact the best i have had so far). Its called spl Chicken 65 biryani. Its the most reasonable and tasty item you can have here. Other things taste good too , but a little pricey. The service here is good.
We went to this place yday eve for dinner . I was good ac restaurent. We ordered fish fingers , chicken lollipop , panner tikka Masala, roti , Hyderabadi mutton biriyani and c.fried rice . It was good and tasty. We enjoyed the food . We had goli soda also . It was tasty but very expensive. It cost rs. 70 +gst per bottle. They should reduce the price of this one . Else it is a very good joint to have food .
The best Bawarchi style briyani in town. I've had the briyani multiple times to check for consistency and they've not disappointed me even once. Great taste and ambience.

One of the fellow foodies in a Facebook food group recommended this place after I posted a review of Madras Takkar for Hyderabadi Biryani. Since then I have been waiting to visit Nammaa Kitchen, on the Velachery-Taramani Main Road. Today, myself and wifey had an opportunity to check this out. As soon as we entered, we saw that the place was neat, brightly lit, and the AC was welcoming! Frankly I didn’t quite expect it to be so nice, don’t know why! Quite a few of the tables were occupied at that time. We sat down in one of the four-seater tables on the ground floor. Only after some guests were directed to the first floor, I realized that they were spread across two floors, good to handle crowd during peak hours! Despite many thoughts around it, I couldn’t quite make out why they had an extra ‘A’ in their name. Looked like their Tamil name was corrected, but English still was spelt wrongly, if at all they meant it to be ‘Namma Kitchen’ as in ‘Our Kitchen’.
We ordered Namma Kitchen Special 65 Biryani. It was boneless and the taste seems like Hyderabadi, as I am a Hyderabadi can get of that. For our surprise there were many Boneless chicken pieces in the Biryani. Along with that we have ordered starters like Hyderabad Chicken 65 and Apollo fish and taste was awesome. In Chennai there are only few restaurants which are countable on finger, Biryani tastes like Hyderabadi where Namma Kitchen is one among them.
Spicy Biryani yeah they have proved themselves that they can define it. I first saw their ad in the newspaper, and thought to myself that let’s give this one a try. I was on my way home so ordered for a takeaway. I bought a Spl Chicken 65 biryani. The very next day I bought a family pack for my family. A week from then I went there with my friends. A friend of mine got himself arrested to the aroma of their Biriyani. He was like shall we go out for food – and he would immediately say Macha Nammaa Kitchen polam. Yes the biryani is spicy but that’s the beauty of it. Apollo Fish – even when I’m writing this down it makes me drool. During my second visit I noticed another guy having blowed up omelette and underneath it biryani. I was very curious to know what it was. Mughlai Bawarchi Biryani – not just a visual bliss but also fulfills your tastebuds. If you are ready for something more than your expectations try the NK Royal Biryani and Tawa Chicken.
Everything is good lovely place to hangout with your friends..tasty food ..we celebrated my frnd bday there they helped to give a surprise..

But i am giving my full points to rest of the dishes in Nammaa kitchen. We ordered 1 Plain biryani, wheat paratha, Andhra Mutton gravy and Tawa fish fry. I really really wanted to tell you the taste of tawa fish fry and Andhra mutton gravy, its heaven and awesome taste. Usually i wont order fish and all. But i wanted to try new dish here, so thats why i ordered tawa fish fry. Really the taste of tawa fry is awesome and yummy flavour. Andhra mutton gravy also superb and mouth watering taste.
If u guys visit here dont missed out the andhra style dishes and Tawa fish fry. Once you have it and tried means You never forget this restaurant and the dish too.

Ordered the family pack chicken biryani,as starters we ordered chilli panner and chicken tikka.All the items were delicious.The biryani was more than fulfilling for evryone.The tikka was good and the chilli paneer were really tasty.I recommend everyone to try their biryani,as it is a Hyderabadi style one.
I would love to visit this place again and I recommend this to all biryani lovers.
Been here few times, they have pretty good staffs with excellent courtesy. Tried Biriyanis, they taste good with a feel of Hyderabad and also chicken starters you can have them all for main course. If you want some tickling North Indian dishes then Butter Chicken Masala is must. The atmosphere is well maintained with soft soothing music. A budget befitting outlet for your biriyani craving.
3.5 because though their mughlai biryani is wow but the gravy chicken is below average and tandoori roti also not that great... Will visit again but only for their biryani...
Its very near our college so this is our go to place for some quality food.Almost authentic Hyderabad briyani and good starters are what this place is known for.However the butter naan with most gravies are also a delight.Dont forget to try the gulab jamun with icecream at the end.
The NK special biriyani is awesome , be it mutton or chicken. They will leave your tummy satisfied and make your day blissful 😉. Even if you want to order online , the service is satifactory and quick.

Went to this place for the first time today. Located fairly close to my office. Went by 1 PM no crowd when we got there.
Ordered NK Special Biryani, Loose Prawn, Andhra Fish Fry and Gralic Naan.
Loose Prawn was fantastic but very spicy, only people who like spicy food can have it.
Biryani was good, nice flavor and had enough meat in it. Quantity also ok.
Andhra Fish Fry was very plain and blunt. Just ok.
Overall a nice place to eat.
Had hyderabadi chicken biryani. Bawarchi style. Good to taste. Can be little more dum style. I am sure you cannot get this biryani in taramani area, only at namma kitchen. Price is ok for the quantitiy and the dish. Ambience and location are good to spend some time. They have multiple payment options including paytm. Go and try you will like it.

Ordered a mutton briyani -NK special. The portion was very filling. Did not have much irritants. The briyani was full of flavor. Mutton pieces were properly cooked and had the masala in them. Priced at 257/- inc the delivery charges. Can be one among the choices around that area.👍🏻
Today me and my friend try this restaurant, ordered two nk special chicken biryani and quarter tandoori chicken total bill amount is RS.440/- Inc tax.my point of view biryani is really very good a typical Hyderabad biryani taste but something miss out compared to paradise biriyani for example the ghee smell coming in paradise biriyani is awesome that is missing out in nk biriyani. Tandoori chicken is really good. Ambience and service also good.Must try restaurant for all Hyderabadi biriyani lovers.

About the food ,
Veg biriyani. The spices were in right amount which enlightened the taste if food.. Three layered package with lots of vegetables in the middle.( The potato and gobi was excellent in that)
The other item seemed unfair to it's name. Crispy fried potatoes. I gotto say the curry leaves in it were crispy not the potatoes. It was too soggy, Though the taste was good but what I ordered was not what I got. A little disappointed about that .
Apart from it a decent place to try once in a while
Had ordered the mutton biriyani here after all the raving reviews. The quantity of mutton was good. Taste was average. I found it to be a little on the salty side. They have a unique taste to the biriyani. Worth a try.

I had my lunch from namma kitchen today and i can still feel the flavour in my tongue.. 😍🍜 yummy yummy briyani the flavour was soo good And they have good variety in their menu if u r person whoz looking for authentic bawarchi briyani and this is a go for place. Even though i found two unprofessional act i am still giving 4.5 is bcoz of their briyani.
1. Grill chicken was half cukd when they served, later wen i explained they again re-cooked it and it tasted better
2. I went by 3pm and i was not aware that restaurant will be closed by 3.30pm nor any1 informed me. While ordering i told waitress that remaining ill order later even then she dint tell me. So aftr finishing briyani we wer about to order next item by then they told me that the kitchen is closed so v left half stomach. I even requested if they could provide atleast one aloo paratha and the reply i got wAs no from manager or owner. That is actually a bitter experience.
P.S plz serve Hot Briyani.
Bt i had a wonderful briyani so i dint get pissed at all. If it wasn't fr briyani i wuld have rated 1 or 2 coz of the experience. Because there are actually a lot of places where they dont want to leave their customers just like that.
Have never been to this place but have ordered from here more than a few times. Our every order contains the Chef's Special Chicken Biryani (Hyderabadi style) because it is that good. It is actually excellent. We prefer it more than the Chicken Biryani that we get at Paradise outlet (on OMR Chennai).
We also tried the Veg Biryani and Veg Fried Rice from here. And they too were very good.
Delivery (Packaging, Delivery) is ok/good. Nothing to complain about.
Go for their special briyani.. Nothing beats it's taste..
Parking could be an issue for the cars. For two wheelers no issues.

An unplanned visit to the Namma kitchen and at least I will remember for a while for the experience I had today, Namma kitchen special paneer majestic and soups were very good. Can have repeated visit for all listed NK specials items. Need to pay more attention on ambience.

This Restaurant is conveniently located on the Taramani Velachery Main Road and is easily noticable. The Food served here is Authentic Hyderabadi Style. The Hyderabadi Chicken 65 , Majestic chicken are must try items here along with Mutton Biryani. The Quantity is very generous and Staff is very Friendly with excellent Service. The items prices cld have been 5-8% lesser but keeping in mind the quality it's fine.
Excellent food. Ordered NK King Mutton Combo. It was tasty and I must say that the butter chicken from the combo was out of the world. I highly recommend this as my friends who have visited had the same experience. The taste has been consistent.
Good restaurant and atmosphere. Price is also affordable for their food taste and quality. Restaurant name alone seems Tamil but you can't find any Tamil staffs inside lol..anyway excellent service by them. Additionally you can avail some discount while paying with Dineout App.

More like an Andhra taste and north Indian mix.the taste pleases everyone. perfect balance of taste,cost and service. no need to read more just trust me and make a visit. I have been there for more than 10 times in a year and never disappointed.

Service is good enough but quality of food is not upto the mark. Egg 65 is far better than any other item in the Nammaa Kitchen.

Good place for lunch and dinner. If you are a lover of briyani, they offer big package for a family at reduced cost. All other items will be around 300 and not less than that. Main drawback is waiting time which is large. Otherwise it's good one.
A good place in order to food and sophistication. The waiters are also very friendly. One small piece of advice..Try something without biriany also.It's buter chicken,even in veg item, palak paneer are also very good.
