Whenever i dine in, in this restaurant or even take a delivery the 1st thing i order here is butter chicken masala and indian breads. These are too delicious and lipsmacking. Also try mutton biriyani which is special in #yamohaideen. I would suggest people to try this restaurant, and during this pandemic to reduce wastage of food, they are providing us foods that are made at that point of time after giving order. This also ensures that we are getting freshly made food. Always love Ya mohaideen butter chicken masala and parata🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤💖
Awesome biriyani, Great at its taste; but quite expensive when compared with other restaurants. Think of having a Mutton Biriyani, I prefer to have it from Yaa Mohideen.

Being a Briyani maniac... I've been a biggest fan of Yaa.Mohaideen..!! But I had a meal in the Elite branch, which I feel is not up to the standard taste of the OG Pallavaram branch Yaa.Mohaideen...!!! We customers are ready to pay 300rs for your Briyani coz of the taste you guys Provide..so Pls maintain the taste everywhere else... Love Yaa.Mohaideen never the less...!! ❤️

We visited this place twice, the food experience was the same both the time... but while we first visited this place when it was started the furniture were very old and dirty the ambience was not that clean but the food was great.. we had mutton briyani chicken briyani fish finger and chicken 65 everything was great.. the second time all upholstery was changed and the ambience seemed clean and as usual food was great. But for the price the quantity is less. Mutton briyani is charged 299 but serves only one person. Service is good.
Let me start by stating that I am not a biryani fan at all, but Yaa Mohideen's Biryani is probably one of the best I have ever had. The chicken biryani was light, tasty and pleasantly surprised me with it's flavor and chicken consistency. Will definitely taste it sometime soon again!

Visited this restaurant for lunch nearly 2 o' clock in the noon. But the restaurant was too crowded and we need to wait for 10mins to get a table. The only cons in this restaurant was the service was soo slow and not active to handle the floating crowd.
Then when we ordered fried rice, they said that it will be available only for dinner. But that was not mentioned in the menu card and it disappointed us. But the staffs there was kind enough to allow us to bring outside food for our vegetarian friends. Coming to the food we ordered Chicken briyani, chicken saucy lollypop and plain briyani.
Coming to chicken briyani it was correctly spiced and yummy in taste 😋😋 4/5. The quantity will satisfy one person. They served briyani along with raita, brinjal curry and bread halwa
Plain briyani was slightly blend in taste and I was shocked to see that they are serving boiled eggs for plain briyani, which I have not seen in other restaurant. 3.5/5
Chicken lollypop was nyc and saucy too😋4/5. It had 5 pieces in it which is quite decent.
Overall we payed rs950 for 7 members which was a decent bill amount.
The ambience of this restaurant was also elegant and neat 5/5 they have changed johnah's bistro into yaa mohideen elite.
Totally a nyc place with a reasonable price for all the briyani lovers.
Yaa Mohaideen Biryani - Anna Nagar
Yaa Mohaideen Biryani has opened its new branch at Anna Nagar 4th main road in collaboration with Paulson's group (Jonahs Bistro).
The search for good biryani's will never ends and happened to visit the new outlet with my friend for lunch today, They serve Chicken Biryani ₹245, Mutton Biryani ₹299, Kushka ₹149 and Chicken 65 ₹159.
Our order is 2 Mutton Biryani's the aroma of biryani was tempting me and jumped in to the plate and started digging once it was served, as usual the biryani was yummy with less irritants, the Mutton pieces was succulent and littrely falling off the bone, enjoyed each and every bite. The complimentary bread halwa was good.
Now we don't have to travel to Pallavaram to enjoy this Biryani.

Heard that, it is one of the best Biriyani in Chennai. Wanted to try it two years back, due to place constraint, I could not able to make it up as it is situated in Pallavaram.
Now they started opening branches all around Chennai and one came up in Anna Nagar, the place where Jonahs was operating. Jonahs has taken the franchise of Yaa Mohaideen. Went around 1.30 PM and the restaurant was jam-packed. The interiors and other décor remain the same. Managed to get the seat after waiting for 10 mins.
Ordered Once Mutton Biriyani, Chicken Biriyani, Kuska and a Chicken 65. As a compliment, Hot Bread Halwa was served in the table. In few minutes food came and the Biriyani was served in steel place with Banana Leaf on it. The Quantity of Biriyani was very generous including the pieces in the Biriyani and the pieces were quite big. The taste was perfect, the real taste of Muslim Biriyani. Definitely, the price was on the higher side as Mutton Biriyani costs Rs.299/- and Chicken Biriyani Costs Rs.249/-. But nevertheless the taste was great and I never mind giving extra for the taste.

Tried this place at once , When I came to know it opened in Annanagar .It's the Best biriyani now in Annanagar, Period! Mutton biriyani is a treat , loaded with juicy chunks. They do serve a huge Helping! They also give a small portion of sweet halwa. Worth the current price if they can maintain the current standards.
The biriyani was nice but not upto the mark of Pallavaram yaa mohideen so don’t expect that same taste here and itz even costly here i don’t know why but you don’t get the same taste as Pallavaram yaa mohideen but if you haven’t been to Pallavaram yaa mohideen no harm you will taste one of the best biriyani you have ever had 💯💯

Ohhhh I almost missed the biryani because of a few reviews below. You dont wanna a hit or miss in a Biryani. But somehow braved it today and took home just one mutton Biryani.... and wow seriously wow!!!
The aroma was perfect and the taste was just right. If you are the kind who likes wedding biryani look no further... the box was packed to the brim with generous portion of succulent mutton pieces. The rice was cooked to perfection and the flavours make you crave for more. The portion size was good, but would have loved more of the bread halwa.( being greedy!!!)
On the whole don't just make a decision by a few bad reviews lest you miss a good biryani.

Went there for dinner with family. Nothing has changed from Joanna's Kitchen from the ambiance perspective, however the briyani was awesome! I loved every bit of it. We opted for mutton briyani, it had loads of mutton in it and treated good, in face couple of is opted for kuska and shared the mutton from others. I loved the chicken 65 as well
The price is on the higher side. One briyani is sufficient for just one person. For a family of 5 + my parents, we had to buy 4 mutton briyani and 2 kuska!!
Considering the cost, This can't be your regular briyani joint... But can visit on so occasion.
Yaa Mohideen briyani is finally in Anna Nagar but with the Anna Nagar price tag. They have added the suffix word -elite at the end so i m not sure if it's based on the Pallavaram franchise or its different from that.
Briyani- the quantity is pretty good if is Sure to fullfill a person's appetite.taste wise it's mild and pleasant like and has that homemade taste. The chicken pieces were quite big to justify the cost of the briyani. They serve bread halwa at the end and it's made to perfection. Overall I would recommend this briyani if u eat a lot and looking for a homemade taste.

Yaa Mohideen briyani finally came to Anna Nagar but with the annagar price tag. It costs 200 for chicken briyani at the original place back in Pallavaram. But over here its almost 250. The portions were good the briyani tastes plesant. Mutton biryani costs around 300. Both the briyanis comes with a bread halwa sweet which is really good.
