Went back to sachin ka dhabha at 18th main road after a long time to have my favourite dhabha style mushroom gravy. Unfortunately mushroom was not available. Instead I opted for kadai paneer tikka gravy for rumali roti. Taste was awesome, panner was fresh and tendery. Taste was perfect. Loved it

Sachin ka Dhabba located at the 18thmain road Anna Nagar west was one of the popular restaurant few years back and it began to loose its reputation and quality slowly. This is a delivery review and I ordered Veg Thali and a Chicken Thali and will comment about each below.
Veg Thali:
Consists of Veg Biryani, Onion, Paneer butter masala ,Roti, Gobi Manchurian, Gulab Jamun , Chana Gravy and kurma. In the veg thali everything was perfect ,the Paneer butter masala was awesome and the biryani was good, the roti, kurma were excellent and it would have been even better if gulab jamun was a bit large in size and instead of plain onion you could provide Raita.
Non-Veg Thali:
Consists of Jeera Rice, Chicken 65, Chicken Gravy, Chana Gravy , Kurma, Roti ,Gulab Jamun and Cucumber. The Non-Veg thali was not as satisfied as the Veg Thali ,The Rice was plain with no spice and Jeera rice is not a good option and the chicken 65 had bone only,no flesh of chicken and apart from that the gravy, roti ,Kurma were good and same as above suggestions the gulab jamun must be changed in size.
Overall cost wise and taste it is ok and people can go for it and if few changes are brought in definitely it would be excellent. Four stars from my side do try the chicken fried rice here it would be awesome. This place is famous for Tandoori too.

It’s a quiet casual place not much of ambience but pleasant and silent. Parking is available sometimes difficult as it’s busy road.
Service is good.

All were moderately good not so great or not bad

Their papad and mint chutney will be good they give it as complimentary Till our food arrives
U can try this place in the evening to chill out with friends

Taste is good. But as requested while ordering, the bread could have been more softer, especially the butter naan was hard.
And I didn't see much veggies in Paneer Tikka masala - 5 cubes of paneer and 2 pieces of capsicum.
Today we went for lunch there... This was the first time we went for lunch.We loved the taste of food. It was a perfect dabha food experience.tandoori chicken was the best we had in the whole meal. naan was good. Perfect place to have all tandoori items for people who love dhabha food. The only minus was gajar ka halwa it was not we expected. overall they should improve in doing there desert.
restaurant serves meals and all south Indian dishes and starters... Food tastes sooperb but the quantity of all starters are very less for the price.. Good sevice too.

Nearby to my place and we happen to hit this spot for many years more than 12+ years now, one of the best in north Indiana cuisine in and around annanagar. I love the tandoori chicken and the signature drink masala Pepsi. They know how to keep their customers happy.
Same old Dhabba, nothing much changed except the old waiter not to be spotted. Hot n sour veg soup was as tantalising as ever. The plain naan n subzi melon was brilliant. Egg fried rice n fried chicken were a good billing. Value for money restaurant.
One of the oldest restaurants in Anna nagar. Since I was like 7 I've been going there. Nice ambience but don't know why its quality has dropped down. But you can always rely on north indian which are good to go!
Its a compact restaurant with bay windows n nice atmosphere bt u don't have restroom over der....food wise its Punjabi base cuisine n tandoori was nice n sply chicken 🍗 items was good.. One side Hindi songs is running wit chill indoor with sparkly golden lights....nice n friendly service wit a smile on der face.....
Its a very old restaurant.It is there since my childhood.been to many hotels but now only visited this hotel with my husband for dinner.coming to ambience bit decent and small.food tasted good and the best one is chilly egg dhaba spl which is a must try.biryani was average.veg fried rice too was average.andhra chicken 75 tasted good.chicken was fresh and very tender.lemon soda with salt was bitter in taste.coming to the price nominal but tax what they charge is huge.sachin ka dhaba a mediocore restaurant.

Dragon chicken, Tandoori and Lassi make this place a special memory for me! Prices are also a blessing for a shop in Anna nagar! A casual place for a friends out.

Punjabi food never fails to satisfy your hunger. Very small place but the food is really good. Especially the naan and the variety of north indian gravies ???? this place is also pocket friendly. So if you wanna treat a group of friends, make this place in your choice list. :)
These are one such chain of restaurant who have fixed sets of loyal customer wid them. On any day u can walk into n order grill chicken n tandoor roti......eat it to ur heart content. The chicken is to tender n juicy inside n grilled on the top wid perfection served wid spicy, lip smacking masala. I am sure u will not regret one bit. If u wanna end wid something meetha....dig in for mango lassi, malpua or kulfi..gulab jamun are ordinary though.

Though the hotel size is small compared to other hotel in this area. But there is no compromise on food taste.
Planner butter masala was at its best with typical north Indian style.
Tandoori chicken was cooked well.
Biriyani is OK.
Indian breads are good.
Dragon/chilli chicken are good.

This used to be a favourite place for our school friends as we will be happily throwing a treat for any and all occasions.
Not a kind of place with an amazing ambience, vast space with fancy lights and stuff. This place is quite small but believe me, they serve some amazing and delicious food.Must try:

myself and my friend went there for the first time. the prices were reasonable and the quantity was good. roti and the gravies were good. we didnt have any rice items, so cant comment on the taste or quality. the space is small and its good for a group of small friends to have a nice dinner. the staff are okay. overall had a nice dinner there for a reasonable price.

Certainly the best place to go fr B'day treats.
We had a B'day treat and went to BBQ chicken at Nungambakkam and what followed was disaster. Our stomach was empty. Sachin Ka Dabba was familiar so we saved remainin money and came here bought Grilled Chicken fr 180 bugs fr take away. The taste was really awesome. THough the price is 270 for dine in. It;s 180 fr take away which s the best part.

I have been ordering deliveries from this place for the last two years. Best food I could find in anna nagar. Even the onions and green chutney that they serve alongside are so unique in their own way. Just the best chicken.. marinated to the bone in every dish.. YUM. Costwise, I think for the taste that is on offer.. it is completely worth it! Each roti is just 7Rs!! Where do you find rotis costing in single digit these days??
Only problem I find is that they are hopelessly slow at deliveries. So.. Order atleast an hour in advance.
My suggestion: Try the chef special chicken curry and corn methi masala.. They're incredible.

Sachin ka Dhaba of this Anna nagar branch has been a good experience for us.
It is located around an area which is a combination of both commercial set-ups and residential houses.
Delicious North Indian dishes are served.
Bread items like naan, phulka, roti etc are super soft and main courses are very tasty with right mix of ingredients.
Parking shouldn't be a concern either although no designated parking lot is available.
Paneer tikka masala was tasty... It's just right with naan...
Aloo paratha needs improvement..
This place is average in all aspect , food taste won't be same , if you had same food on different day taste will change on regular.
