We were 26 including kids and management made special arrangements to fit us into top private room... The staff was on top of every request and quick with so many orders from every one of us.. none of us had any complaint on missed item... we went there for ambience and locale but food turned out to be yummy catering to all our tastes.. highlights were Chinese bhel , all kinds of pasta , all pizzas , cheese paav bhaji.. in the end with so much over ordering we were happy to see the final bill... I would say all items are moderately priced ... definitively a to go place to make memories with your friends and family
One of the best place to eat chill relax ...Something different for Chennaites .. Way to go Robin..
We had a big get together planned for watch enthusiasts on the 26th, with many places objecting it , prasanth was more than happy to accommodate us and even provide a private space , the buffet on the table was well thought out , with the cheese balls and the pav bhaji, and the delicious pasta with ice cream to follow, being a big time non vegiterian, these vegiterian dishes turned out to be quite awesome, and special thanks to Raghu who helped along with the food service and arranging the place ! , Thank you guys we had a blast !
Superb concept! Superb menu! Such a fresh wave of M.A.D.ness right in the heart of Chennai city! It will be my second home whenever I visit next time!
the limited but the best dishes on the menu card
the taste of everything ordered was just delicious

Best Place to MEET & DINE!! Awesome Food, Good Ambience...MAD HOUSE
Hi all .....I decided to arrange a welcome party for my new born baby ......mad house was perfect place for my family and friends get-together as gives a comfy and cozy feeling not like other party halls .and the best part is the food which we all enjoyed to the fullest.....thanks to the team of mad house for such a lovely arrangement.
Good service and value for money..
One of the most underrated eating joints in Chennai. We went for our friend's birthday treat, we had a great time together with delicious food served on time.
I came in here to celebrate my mother's birthday. I came here on the recommendation of my brother and his friend.
First thing. The ambience. It is cozy, warm and homely. Robin greeted us and wished my mother, after which we were ushered in.
The staff were quite polite and pro active. They knew the audience well. They took care of our cultural and culinary inclinings.
I loved the food. Herbed pasta especially. It was so good on my belly, and it was so tasty. My father enjoyed the experience.
All in all, this is a great place to be - for friends to catch up, to propose to your love, to celebrate time with yourself, or to simply have something good to eat.
I like this place for varities of cuisine they have. Mix pasta and pizzas are my favorite from this place. Triple schezwan rice with Manchurian is a must tryy here. Even the chole bhature is good. Chinese sizzler was good too. Only disappointed for the quantity and the price.
Had my daughter's birthday party here. It was very satisfying experience. She and all her friends enjoyed the food and the prompt service
The food quality is very good & portion size is perfect. Great job, had by error given a 1 star
Been here twice and the food is simply awesome and mouth watering. Highly recommend place for get together and the brownie with ice cream was delicious 😋 🤤
Let's come enjoy with delicious food and have fun with many indoor games and enjoy the birthday party and many kinds of activities with comfortable seating arrangement and have fun with ur polite staff with good service... Let's come and enjoy in MAD House kilpauk garden Road...
This theme based restaurant is so cool! The ambience is very friendly for group of friends, couple's and families. We ordered pasta, garlic bread and brownie with icecream. The taste is so good. Brownie with icream added so much value to my taste buds haha. Hot brownie and cold scoop of icecream is truly mouthwatering. Never miss to ask for one. Would definitely hangout again just for the finishing touch of brownies. Haha!
One of the best place for Chinese and Italian food and specially pizza and pasta If u love this item do visit M.A.D house, u will find the best pasta in entire Chennai.
Talking about Mad house.. the location was quite difficult to find.. the atmosphere was beautiful and best to visit in the evenings.. the interior looks pretty comfy and give a home feel... Get in with your friends.. have good Good food and also you get to play a variety of board games which is 💯 a plus💞
Talking about food... It's yum.. vegetarian.. pizza is 💯 worth to the price..
But Maggie is a NO!! Not worth to the price.. Maggie can be made better..
Over all a good experience and a good spot to fill-up the hungry tummies..
Yesterday, I celebrated my birthday with my gang of 15 friends at Mad house. The experience was really amazing! We had a separate dining area provided to us, where we were not disturbed at all. And the food was delicious, delivered on time and with good quantity. I must add that it was very pocket friendly too :) Overall, I appreciate the staff's patience and their hospitality! Would definitely recommend this place to any college gang/family looking for a decent place to eat and spend time for hours!
The Ambience is simply superb. My kids loved it so much.. Recently, my daughter organised a birthday party for her friends over dinner and as expected each and everyone enjoyed the food so much and the service available was also very commendable. The food served was delicious and mouth-watering. They ordered different varieties of pastas, Maggies, pizzas and for starters we ordered chilly corn and her favourite sezwhan bhel..The staff of 'MAD House'were very helpful and made her birthday a very memorable one for her.
Visited this lovely place on 21st April 2019.
No fuss about hi-fi decoration, but service with smile makes tasty food here more tastier.
Food is lovely, price are reasonable compared to quality and portion.
Here customers are not treated as customers, but as family's guests.
Quite ambience, valet parking,,,fun to be at this " M.A.D House" must visit.
Viral shah.Chennai.
Loved it. I just loved it. The staff was so polite and friendly. I ordered a peri peri and they were accommodative enough to customise it as per my liking. They were really sweet and the service was also quick.
I loved the location as well, there is a terrace right outside the restaurant, on top of kuppochai where you can go and sit anywhere you want from chair to the railing. Just make sure you have got someone older to you to hold your hand. :p it is surrounded by trees not and lamp-post. Not sure if the trees or plants were fake.
I was so happy with the pizza that I went once again the same week and ordered two pizzas for brother and Bhabhi and thankfully they loved the taste.
I loved the vibe of the restaurant and the music too. Volume was just perfect were in it wasn’t too loud and neither too low.
Would definitely go back again and the pricing was also okay. Not too expensive and not too cheap.
Tawa pulao is a treat for all the veggies!!
Must try !!!!😍😍😍 In love with this place ..
Ambience - 4/5

❤️ Simply in love
I had organised my son's birthday in mad house. Excellent ambience. They gave few board games to keep the children occupied. Food was delicious. We had ordered for ice tea, mixed pasta, paneer pizza and garlic bread. I only have complaint with the portions of ice tea and pasta. It was very little compared to what we order for lunch or dinner. Otherwise it is definitely a good place to hang out.

Came here with a friend and enjoyed every single dish they laid out for us. We ordered the white pasta, pav bhaji and garlic bread. All of them were yummy and we finished it within minutes. And the Brownie was heavenly....
Very good place to take kids and friends.
Perfect place for everyone.
Really a mad house 😅
Good food good price .
Games were there for time pass and it was fun ❤️
I was looking at places around Anna nagar for a close friend's birthday celebration and stumbled upon this café's insta page. Found it to be very apt for our requirements. I had called them to enquire and pre book a part of their cafe. They were very patient in explaining about every detail and when I had gone there the next day they took me around the entire place. Super friendly staff.
On the day of my friend's birthday it was raining and I had booked the terrace. They were kind enough to let us sit inside and gave us a private space to celebrate.
This is a perfect place for any kind of informal gathering. Must visit.
Perfect ambience for a casual evening.
Food is also good and decent.
Would definitely go back here sometime! :D
One of the best veg dine restaurants in Chennai the pizzas we're so yummy and interior of the M.A.D house is good it's like the concept of the house
Great veg food. Has a twist to Italian. Has a fusion of Italian with just a little bit of Indian. Decent food. Not that great, bad servicing and takes time to getting food, according to my experience.
This place has great ambience and is the best place to visit with your friends. It’s a vegetarian restaurant whose food is delectable. They’ve almost every board game there and the people are also nice and pleasant!
A Pocket friendly restaurant located in kilapuk
We ordered chesse burst pizza . it was just mouth drooling 😍 A MUST TRY FOR CHEESE LOVERS
Ambience :3
Food :4

A must try place. Good pricing and taste is amazingly so damn yumm. Very good ambiance with light music. Little different concept of turning house in to resto. Oreo shake is an must try here.
My yoga buddies wanted to meet up outside our normal environment and since a majority of them are Jain we decided to try out MAD house which is a pure vegetarian eatery .
The recent trend of renovating residential houses into eating establishments is a welcome one as these old houses have so much character.
Since we met up in the evening well before dinner time,we decided to go with snacks.
Ordered the Chinese Bhel to start off the evening ,we went with both the normal and the Jain variants, the only difference being the presence of sliced onions in one.
It tasted exactly like a dry American Chop Suey and I quite liked it.
Next was the turn of the garlic breads- one topped with spinach and corn the other was the exotica version with cheesy vegetables.
We decided to order two of their signature pizzas- the cheese burst and peppy paneer.
The cheese burst pizza was awesome, oozing with melted cheese and had some interesting toppings like sliced zucchini which we normally don't encounter in pizzas and pickled jalapeños whose tangy spiciness contrasted well with the overwhelming cheesiness.
It was an inspired choice !
On the other end of the spectrum, the paneer pizza was dry ,the paneer hard and the cheese was also not stringy .
My companions all chose to have ' grown up' beverages like lime sodas and tea while I went with Rose milk.
Though they made fun of my rather juvenile choice of drink, I relished every smooth sip of the refreshing beverage.
The service contrary to what I had read in some of the previous reviews, was smooth and very efficient.
So all in all my time at the MAD house was a rad one indeed.
The Ambience is good and very innovative concept. Visited the house yesterday night for Dinner. It was my dad's 58th birthday. The food was very good and most importantly served hot. We ordered Chinese Bhel, Cheese corn balls, Augratin, two pizzas (Indian Paneer and Cheese Burst), then Paav Bhaaji. All the items were timely served. The waiters also were good and gave great service....!!!
Only drawback I found was the Air conditioner, it didn't seem effective and we were feeling little warm and suffocated in there...!!!
Chic hangout restaurant on the way from Aminjikarai to Kilpauk; serves Vegetarian short-eat foods. Ambience and set-up though nice, doesn't match up with the service provided.
Ambience: 3.5/5
Quality: 4/5
Food: 4/5
Service: 2/5
Heard a lot about this place and this was the first time I had ordered food for delivery from here.
Order - Triple Sezwan fried rice with gravy and herbed cheese dosa.
Must say that food was hot and delicious though it was through delivery.
Triple Sezwan fried rice was properly cooked and appropriately spiced. The gravy was good but wish the quantity was more.
Herbed cheese dosa was excellent but again the quantity of chutney was less, wish it was more.
Overall was happy having food from here.
Ambience was nice..Food was served fast..and the music track were really awesome..
Completely it was good.. good place to hang out with friends in weekends
MAD HOUSE 🏚️
The place where you can hangout with frnds... 👍👍

it was good n fast deliverd
Finally visited this place!! Perfect place to spend a day with frennz... Perfect for people who love board games!! Ambience was good!! Food was also good!! Do try the schezwan noodles!! It's yummmmmmmm!! Friendly staff!!
Another bungalow converted to a restaurant in the area. Looks like quite a profitable business. Their ambience is amazing. It does not give a restaurant kind of feeling at all. It feels like different group of people having food in different rooms of a large home. Our room had a swing too.
The food could be improved greatly. The pav bhaji dosa was a flop so was the Tawa pulav. The red pasta was good and so was the Margarita pizza. The just pass items were the veg ball Manchurian, the Chinese Bhel and fried idly.
Service was good too.
Very private.. Gud fr family, kinda restaurant.. Although we were two, we felt like sitting in home.. Very limited menu , wid a beautiful ambience and the smiling hospitality by the lady there.. I recommend all peri peris and shakes.. Rates are almost same as maggevala/dosa art with an exquisite ambience.. Can improve menu card, and taste.. I think its d least budget themed restaurant in here, where u can only come to chill nd b light..
ordered the Peri Peri noodles ! it was spicy hot and yummy as well
Nice place for a hangout with friends/family..
We were about 26 people who had bombarded the place on a Saturday evening and were the last bunch of people to leave the place.. the staff was very courteous and friendly all the while..
We had ordered a variety of dishes and every dish was yummy and tasty (although i feel they can give lil more in quantity)..
** They also serve JAIN food **
my picks: chinese bhel, peri peri pizza, pav bhaji, mix pasta, ice lemon tea and cold coffee..
This place was newly opened and we went here without reading any reviews but we were happy that we paid a visit here.😍
Its basically a house converted into a restaurant. 5/5 straight away for their ambiance and courteous staff. 🤓🤓
We ordered
Veg hakka noodles 4/5
Peri peri pizza - 5/5
Exotic Garlic bread - 4/5
Chocolate brownie milkshake - 5/5
The bill was around 750. Worth visiting once. Cannot be recommended to visit often because the prices seem to be little costly. 😁
M.A.D house is one of those houses converted to a restaurant/cafe.
It’s on Kilpauk Garden Main road and really, I’m pretty happy it’s so close to where I stay!
The whole concept consists of an ambience that lets you play with friends while you are there.
I entered, three adults and three infant. Three naughty infant.
We actually entered for dessert for the infants, but ended up ordering Nachos, Peri Peri Pizza, Brownie and death by Chocolate.
The Nachos were a little overrated. Ready Nachos with A Sauce that consisted of red and white sauce mixed up.
The Peri Peri Pizza was really very good. It’s a 9 inche Pizza , and had quite a few Jalapeños, my favorite.
The brownie was good. Served warm. And the Death by Chocolate, was the best. Layers of cake and cream with some chocolate sauce.
They don’t let you play games on the weekend- but with special permission - the threee kids played Jenga and enjoyed every minute.
Another bungalow turned into a cafe. Very Good place for friends. I like a little desi flavour in everything. I felt they need to work a little more on the taste. Otherwise nice ambiance. Quite reasonable. Keep it up.
I went with low expectations as I had read a few disappointing reviews about this place especially the service, plus the pics posted of the place were not very encouraging. But I was pleasantly surprised by my whole experience there.
A group of us mothers with our hungry toddlers visited M.A.D house on a weekday for lunch. The children were hungry as we had brought them from school directly. They were very accomodating of our requests - child friendly in that it was less spicy almost bland and without many veggies that would make it difficult for our toddlers to chew. Fitting the request to the T was their cheese garlic bread. It was yummy, sans the spice and the children lapped it up. The mixed pasta was a big hit with the adults as well as the children and so was the cheese burst pizza which was flavourful and nicely seasoned. Their stuffed potato paratha came admirably with curds and pickle on the side, and I dug into it with gusto. I have had better ones in other places but there was nothing bad about this one.
We had ordered a paneer starter which was simply yumm. I would go again for the really tasty pasta - white, red, mixed everything was good. I am a stickler for a good pasta and i was happy these guys didn't disappoint. The place was child friendly and since it was a house made into a restaurant the seating provided for privacy...not however a relief from boisterous children making noise.
At just 300 per person (we ordered a lot of stuff) it was a steal. I intend to go again for some of that yummy pasta and pizza.
The food is just amazing. The ambience is just perfect. The concept and the infrastructure is at its best. The food is mesmerising and lip smacking😁the service is too good and quick. You should try peri peri pizza and the dessert there. The concept of playing games or reading novel is amazing and fresh.Tottally satisfied. The rates are also reasonable. Worth the money 🤩
Great ambience, great food and great hospitality!
A new cafe shop on Kilpauk - Chennai, MAD House is a vibrant and welcoming addition to the area. Everything we have tried from the menu has been outstanding. From their menu my favs are Chinese Bhel, Cheese Burst Pizza & Chilli Paneer. Don’t miss it...They make awesome desserts too!!
MAD House has ample parking space for both two & four wheelers along with valet parking facility. Definitely going back to this place until we get enough of that mouthwatering dishes.
Ambiance - 3.5/5
Food - 4/5
Price - 4.5/5
Presentation - 2.5/5

Bungalows turning into cafes and eateries is the trend city is catching up. Madhouse is another bungalow turned into cafe on Kilpauk garden road, with evident and visible from the road.
The decor is simple but one of their PDR was lovely as it had a swing. Like how cool is that, swing while you eat. They’ve got many such rooms so family dinners and hangout’s can be fun that way.
The menu is a nothing extraordinary but the food lived up to expectations.
We were a group of 13 and tried many things.
Cheese corn balls, garlic bread cheese and exotic were for appetisers and decent enough. Bread was toasted too much and balls could be more cheesy.
Peri peri pizza and cheese burst pizza were too good. Cheese burst was the highlight as it was a burst in thin crust, was delicious and not so heavy on the tummy. Peri peri was spicy enough.
Pink and red sauce pasta were the typical Indian version of pastas and I liked them that way.
Veg noodles and paneer paneer sizzler stood out as well. Noodles were served with veg manchurian.
Chole , masala dosa and fried idlis were nothing great to rave about.
For desserts we tried the chocos ice cream. This was chocos stuffed in vanilla ice cream topped with chocolate sauce. Different and nice.
Service was a little slow but otherwise I liked the place very much. Definitely going back for the good food and ambiance. The prices are reasonable as well was a total of 3k.
Overall:
Food - 3.5/5
Vfm- 3.5/5
Ambiance - 4/5
Service - 3/5
Delicious continental food , best place for couple as well as family. Great ambience. Great interior of all dinning rooms.
Had great time with group there.
Overall the food here is really good tried their mix sauce pasta it was superb and nice i really enjoyed the pasta,it was creamy, tangy combination and cheesy as well, had nice amount of vegetables as well, had also tried that peri peri pizza it was quiet spicy i have enjoyed having the pizza,it was crispy, flaky and thin crust based pizza so it was nice, had tried their nachos with cheese, the nachos where from outside not freshly made when i tasted it so they need to look at it,also had jalepenos garlic bread that was superb really it was good those who like jalepenos, had brownie cake that was good way to finish the desserts, overall the taste is good, the service and staff was also good, the parking when coming in 2 wheeler is very spacious, have ample parking space,it is like a homely environment the ambiance,it is not really talking for the ambiance but the taste is important which is really good, will try their chinese and indian dishes as well whenever i come, overall a good experience.
So today I chose to eat vegetarian and I went to MAD HOUSE
We ordered fried idli
Chill honey potato
Cheese corn balls
Peri peri pizza
And masala lime soda juice
All were good especially fried idli and pizza are a must try one..!
Value for money is also reasonable and great ambience
Had a happy meal
A four in one place put up together . It's located in the opposite side of the little north in kilpauk .
Very differently designed ambience with minimal service .It was neither very great nor very bad experience . You can visit once but if you are an ardent devotee of pasta it's recommended else one can just visit to explore once .
What did we order ?
Pasta
Paneer saute
Death by chocolate
Pasta (Rs.150+) - Mixed pasta was damn good , we finished it in no minutes .
Paneer saute (Rs.190+ ) - It wasn't so great but had to manage eating because paneer is bae .
Death by chocolate (Rs 130+) This was not expected , a layer of brownie which was kind off slightly burnt was in between vanilla ice-cream topped with chocolate syrup . Guessing it should be Hersheys.
Definitely service can be improved . We wanted a helping hand at parking space but unfortunately the staffs over there turned up only after requesting them 4-5 times .
Food - 3.5/5
Service - 2/5
Ambience - 4/5
Liked its unique name..Ambience is good (can be even better).Coming to food,we ordered Mix pasta,Peri Peri maggi with cheese, two types of pizzas n peri peri french fries..Mix pasta was medium, peri peri maggi was too spicy, pizza n french fries were also good.Disappointed with service n behave of manager.Overall a one tym visit place for pocket friendly place lovers.
A huge place with very simple indoors and casual outdoor siting. The place has got lot of food options to choose from. Some of the dishes we had were
-peri peri fries -garlic bread -nachos -cheese burst exotic and peri peri pizza -aloo & cheese paratha -ice tea -maggi peri peri.. in shakes had -toffee coffee & -kit kat shake. All the items were tasty and delicious. The prices are well placed. Service needs to be better. I would strongly recommend to give it a visit. esp. considering enormous food varieties and huge ambience with small kiosk areas.
Amazing place ! Food is good and not very expensive .. amazing interiors and nice spots to click pictures :p would love to visit the place again ps Oreo shake and pizza is my fav
Sachitha Rathore
Food is yummy and ambience is also pleasant.
Finally one good veg causal dine place in Chennai
Hope to see more varities coming
Food is good.
Ambience is excellent.
Boards game with food makes it more flavoursome. Service is quite good too.
A must visit place with friends.
The place is good. It’s actuallly a big place but the service is quite slow. Felt A little bad because they didn’t have ferror rocher milkshake.😭
We had ordered schzewan noodles and gravy and cheese burst pizza. The noodles and the gravy both are really good and the cheese burst is kindaaa good if ur expecting it to be like dominos cheese burst then u would not be satisfied😂
And the best part is it’s pocket friendly. :D
I don't know where to start! I really liked the food , ambience and the decor. The atmosphere is really calm and happy. As soon as you step in the decor in each place is different .
Here's what I ate:
-herbed pasta
-margarita pizza
-exotic garlic bread
-boomer milkshake
The food is delicious and pretty light. The quantity & taste of the food they serve for it's given price is totally worth it.
While waiting for the meal, there were board games to play and books to read .Makes waiting totally fun!
It was started with the concept of a laid back, casual vibe and they totally nailed it !
Would definitely recommend it and go again too !! : )
