I visit this place atleast once in 2 months... Good food and great taste at affordable price.. calm and silent ambience... timely delivery and friendly staff without any kind of discrimination for their customers..
Great taste. Good atmosphere. A regular customer atleast once a month. Favourite Jain Paneer Butter Masala. Still have to try some other variants.

Taste was pretty good.
Quantity was really good too.
Delivered before time.
just one doubt, why was it written as *Dhabba on wheels* ?
it's supposed to be sachin ka dhabba, right?
We ordered their special saapaadu. Quality is really good and ambience is posh. ... Service is good.. Tastefully decorated and very spacious...Some yummy varieties ...
The restaurant is located in a bylane at the beginning of the doveton flyover. The menu is decent with a variety of options and prices are extremely competitive. Like the fact that they serve vinegar onions along with food, personally liked the dal makhni and pudina paratha which I found pretty flavourful among the other dishes. The gravy and tandoori dishes are not laced with oil/ghee which I feel is appreciable. The place though is a bit small and appears dated, home delivery could be a better option for people concerned with ambiance.Good to see a vegetarian branch of Sachin ka Dhabba..
Wanted to try out this restaurant as it has my name on it. 😝
A good and very economic north indian restaurant offering. You get a dhabba kinda feeling after getting in there. The place is small which you might fond little uncomfortable that's why have seen more people taking take away food rather than dining in.
We always get good and tasty food in Sachin ka dhaba but this time the service also superb and response of the staff was also superb.......the rates are most affordable we paid 1300 for 6 persons which really reasonable
Family dinner time with good food.
Had to go veg today cos of some religious belief which I usually don't but not when parents are around. So..Veg!
Small place that can occupy some 30ppl.
Orders:
Chilly paneer: initially it tasted very good but in the very last piece I had,I bit something bitter. That spoiled the whole thing.
Gobi Manchurian : good. Crispy gobis.
Paneer butter masala : okayish. Too sweet.
Butter naan : usual.
Chilly naan : good.
Garlic naan : good.
Mushroom biriyani: I loved it .. so did others. I love the way they bring in the tandoori taste in it.
Least lassii : perfect.
Also they gave us complimentary paapad while we were waiting for our order.
I would request the waiter guy to be customer friendly as he dint bother much and was always in hurry.
Though the service was quick...
Not so good ambiance.
Nce food and price also good .toondoori chicken also good.and the main things is lassi I like very lassi in sachin ka dhaba.good servise.good food.every thing is good
Good and piping hot food at affordable price is the hallmark of this place. Good service along with free complimentary papad.Need to improve on ambience and a/c effect.
A very nice place for Punjabi Food. Ambience is decent. Food quality is very good. I loved the food. Quite affordable. One should try, nice food at good price.@
A Decent place in terms of ambiance....food is good and light to your wallet. They have the most amazing dal tadka and dal makhani. The complimentary papad which tastes good is a bonus and on order you will get 4 pieces if papad for Rs.30. Their starters are decent and chilli paneer dry being the best among them with extra garlic mind you. Service is good keeping in mind also that they serve the main course together meaning breads and sabzis together to you can eat hot and not wait for either. They are one of few restaurants in Chennai who serve Vinegar onion. Its definitely a good place to go if you dont want to spend a lot and get good food. A good homely feeling is a plus.
Landed into this Pure veg heaven after a tedious trekk from tada falls, there was nothing on way so all 13 members of our group were hungry like anything.
As we sat, we could feel the chillness in AC, we enjoyed it. Amazing ambiance in a cozy place with a makeshift handwash.
Really liked the Managing lady. She meticulously reserved table and didnt let anybody sit as few of our friends were yet to come.
We jumped to menu card and ordered Paneer tikka, chilli gobi and baby corn chilli.
There were four of us, and all items were gone within 5 minutes of arrival, that was the taste of the dishes. Really liked it.
The pappad serving was good, green chutney made it even more delicious
Then we made our standard order for our friends, Paneer butter masala, dal makhani and mix veg with Kulcha and roti
Paneer butter masala was sweet, Mix veg and dal were tasty.
Kulcha with dal makhni heavenly. But spicy friends didnt like it so we had to order paneer tikka masala, which quenched the spicy friends
we also ordered sarso ka saag and makki ki roti, it was crisp and taste was nice. But saag could have been better
Lassi was heavenly, gulab jamun didnt make much of a dent in already full stomach
Overall
Ambiance 4/5
Food 4/5
Taste 4/5
Service 5/5
Spiciness/ authenticity 3/5
Been there two times with friends... The taste and the ambience is very good and the place is easily accessible but it took a long time for serving the food.
Good taste + cost effective but one defect that is service Which is poorly provided. Other then tat its worth going over there for when there are min 2 ppl

Real good taste . Best food for such a low price , fills ur stomach .
Good service , the best dishes
-Punjabi Paneer
- baby corn manchurian dry
-panner tikka
-fried rice /jeera rice with curd.
One of the best place for vegans. Recently me and my friend went to this small resto as we were badly hungry. The punjabi food was awesome and the service was quick and price was reasonable. If anybody wants to give treat to their friends, this is the right place to go.
Easily one of the best vegetarian restaurants in the locale. They offer a limited variety, but all of them tastes amazing. Price of the food items are very competitive for the quality and taste they order. Their chilly babycorn fry, malai paneer and papad kulcha are must try.
SKD is easily our first choice when mom skips to cook dinner anyday.
Great food ... small but high quality veg restaurant....
