I have been to this place two times. Earlier with friends and we had dinner served in restaurant. This time I went with my family and We opted for vegetarian buffet.
Adults: ₹350 ; kids: ₹250. Food price is very economical as compared to other restaurants on ECR.
Points to improve:
1. Ambience is great but the furniture is old which kills the vibe of this place.
2. Food quality can be improved, the one with we ate felt like Marriage food. Ice cream was simple vanilla with no options. Management can increase the price but give great quality food because the place is great and people would love to come here for food.
3. Buffet menu can be made better and with more options. I felt too much oil in cauliflower (could be just me but I felt it)
Is not all bad, place is great for photo lovers and there a small park for kids but be careful during night time as there are lot of plants and there can be insects or anything.
Overall, nice ambience and with slight quality improvement in food it can become a great hanging out place.

Their service is so good, the atmosphere is also very good. Food prices are also not too high. The privacy is so good here. They also have AC dine in.
- The ambiance was very nice. We taste our food surrounded with green plants & trees. In night times, they created low lights set-up.
- All dishes taste is good.
- Price is little higher (but its ok for the ambiance)
- The service is little delay. So, we have to wait for little time to place an order & taste the food.
Very well and neatly maintained place.
Price is low while comparing with other marriage halls.
Mini hall is available at the back of main hall
Parking is available at the back of the building.
Only problem is there is no adequate rooms to stay in the night..
Dint thought it would be so good here to have dinner with family.

This place has been on my Saved list for so long and finally got to visit on a weekday lunch! The place is just surrounded by lush greenery, beautiful huts! Even at 1pm, the temperature was cool inside the hut with fans, place surrounded by trees. The menu is decent with nominal pricing, but the quantity for each dish was a lot per person that makes the VFM 10/10! Service was pretty quick! The place is overall very very calming and peaceful with good food ✔️

We went for a lunch here. Ambience was very good with many hut surrounded by trees. We saw some turkey and cats as well.There is an AC restaurant too. We tried Chicken clear soup, chicken lollipop, chicken biryani and fruit salad. All items tastes good. They serve very fast. Normally when going for outing in ECR we expect faster service and they did it👍There is car and bike parking in restaurant also if full next to restaurant road also we are able to park. Overall good place to have food in a natural environment🙂
I ordered fried prawns rice, it was delicious.

Food Village is one of the leading party venues in Chennai, complete with a lawn dining area. My nephew's first birthday was celebrated there, and everyone was pleased with the overall arrangement and delicious food! The whole place is easily accessible in a wheelchair for a wheelchair-bound, which is one of the advantages for disabled and elderly individuals. The serving of food is good, but the cleaning women are coming around the table with the intention of taking the plates back as soon as possible before we finish supper, which should be considered because we could not eat calmly with that mentality. I'm hoping management will take care of it.

Its an Ideal place to have food and to spend some quality time with pur friends or family.
If You want to enjoy the evening with good food, then this is the place for you.
Chicken items are very juicy and tasty, really had some mouth watering dishes during my recent visit.

Food village restaurant is a great place for any function,partying and gathering. It has both indoor and outdoor dining. Outdoor dining is made with the hut setup and lighting. Indoor with Ac.There is an open area for functions with a buffet that can accommodate around 150 to 200 people. It has a lawn, birds, fishes, play area , kids chair for dining and a free parking area too. Quality and taste of the food is good.
I attended a party in the hotel, they have different sizes of lawns, they had a separate place for serving the buffet. The car parking was a bit away from the lawn.
Had a late lunch at 3.15pm. still they had most of the food items and starters. Ordered chicken lollipop, crispy fried lamb, paneer noodles, mutton biriyani, chicken 65, chettinad chicken masala and garlic naan. All items tasted good. Reasonable rates.
I attend a function, the Hall is okay but the beautiful part is the open space,Food is good and the service too,would suggest for small gatherings as the price tag is easy on your pockets with the feel of Nature though it's just on the main road of ECR.
We (5ppl) had come for lunch..
The food was really amazing..
We had mutton biryani, biryani rice, prawn thokku, tandoori non veg platter, chicken sweet corn soup and faloodazzzz..
Spent around 3.4k and definitely worth it…
Service was also quite quick..
