Cake which I ordered was ready but it wasn’t to chilled if it was set at sufficient temp it would have been perfect. Would be good to give them call before had to make sure you get what you ordered. On calling Cakes & Berry’s I was delighted to hear them agree to my requirements. Within 2 hours of ordering my cakes were ready. Eggless butterscotch (₹750) & eggless chocolate truffle (₹860). I basically love cakes and the cakes they make here are simply delicious and colourful so you can go for it anytime without any second thoughts. If you're planning a cake for some occasion this is definitely the kind of shop you can depend on and they do deliver. The best thing about this shop is that they have a special cake for everyday and they call it "flavour of the day" and it really is..!!! If you ever drop by don't miss that. Almost all the cakes are good and decently priced but if you ask me about taking your gang or family I would say no because the seating is not one of their pros. Apart from cakes they even have lot of options (for a cake shop) like homemade chocolates, milkshakes, cornpuffs, cold coffee. Out of all, the brownies here are in pocket friendly prices and yummy + fills your tummy and lava cake they have costs only र60 which is also a treat but it is subjected to availability so you've gotta be lucky.

The cakes with best quality and high taste are found here. It was my aunt's birthday and we pre-ordered the cake a day before and the next day it was ready on time. The decoration was awesome and it tastes heavenly. This shop focuses on all the requirements of the customer... Since we ordered eggless Blackforest we expected a chapped cake which will be for sure not tasty but I must say they surprised us well. The cake had immense flavours and the most overwhelming part was they actually kept the request of writing 'Ma' in Bengali so well, that no one can ever distinguish that it was written by someone who doesn't know Bengali. The cake came in a beautiful box along with knife.<br/>I must say it was a beautiful experience!!

Cakes and Berry's is one of the decent dessert parlours around Porur - close to Anjappar hotel. As far as I can remember, this outlet has been there for the past 4-5 years. It is only of late that I have been regular to this place in the evenings, on the way back home. <br/><br/>Ambience is quite simple. Nothing really to complaint. This place is quite compact and it does seem little difficult to chill out unless you're in small groups. <br/><br/>Pastries from Cakes and Berry's are really good. They are also known to offer cakes for different occasions. I have tried ordering Black forest cake on multiple occasions and have found it reasonably good - consistently - for the price. It is not often that you find cakes with just the right amount of sweet and loads of right flavour that please our taste buds. This is one such place. I love their Mousse which has an awesome texture and taste that literally melts in our mouth. Brownies are pretty good too. <br/><br/>Staffs are mostly courteous. Parking is not the easiest thing.<br/><br/>What my Rating would be? 3.5/5 for Cakes and Berry's :)<br/><br/>Do give it a try!

As someone said correctly they cheat you on the price ..online says different price and when I called them up they said more than the online price ..quoting that online price is not updated ...<br/><br/>Better cake stores are available around porur area ..avoid this cheaters ..especially for home delivery ..you are guaranteed for old stock .. I have rated 1 out of 5 because the cashier tried to make a quick buck by cheating me.<br/><br/>when i went to the shop on July 31st 2016 there was power outage in the shop. and i ordered chicken sandwich and a donut. I was told bill will not be provided since there was power outage. the cashier pumped the calculator and asked me to pay 161rs. I took out my CC and gave it to me. then i just randomly asked how much is one chicken-sandwich and donut. he told me a different price from the one on the label near the chicken sandwiches. On being pointed out that he is quoting me a different price. he insisted the final amount is correct.. on sternly asking him to repeat the price of each item. he gave me back 21rs saying he miscalculated. "Even the sweetest cakes taste sour when the shop tries to take you for a ride"

We visited the place to order a cake for my daughter's birthday. The proprietor was very helpful and showed us a fairly decent collection of cake possibilities. While it became a bit repetitive, I must say the team is fairly versatile and can make cakes of even smaller sizes of 1.5kg to 2kg even when the chosen designs are a bit complex. <br/><br/>Finally, the cake was delivered along with the snack box we ordered for a crowd of 30 pax. It was a barbie cake standing about 14-15 inches tall on a base of about the same diameter. It was delivered in a wonderful condition. I must say the highlight of the evening was this cake. For an egg less cake, it is easily one of the most sumptuous cakes we had after a long time. Well done team at Cakes and Berries.<br/><br/>Please improve the quality of snacks and you have potential to become the best cake/snacks joint in the 5-6km radius around Porur. Good luck.

Visiting tiz place for more than 4 years, still their service n quality of the food tey provide are jus osm. During our ordering of cake we planned to have a little snack, so we decided to have a veg roll n chicken cheese roll. Chicken cheese roll was too good and the chicken in it was with immense flavour n juicy, whereas the veg roll was jus average. I booked a birthday cake along with 3 cheeze pizza's from the Valasaravakkam branch of 'Cakes n Berrys' for Rs 800. This cake was home delivered for my daughter's birthday party. When I opened the cake, I was surprised to find even the basic birthday message was not written at all(The receipt which was given to me clearly carried the message which was recorded).I also asked during the time of cake booking to keep cherries which were also absent.The Cheese Pizza had half of the cheese stuck in the butter paper and the remaining half on top of the Pizza base.<br/>Went and informed the shop about the same feedback only to hear back a 'Sorry' which did not come out of their heart for spoiling the mood of my little daughter's birthday party. If you go to their shop they would display cakes with cherry on top in a thematic manner but if you but a birthday cake they wont even bother to keep one on top.<br/><br/>Definitely I could have avoided this shop on my daughter's birthday.

Went to their new outlet in madipakkam. I always wanted to look for a fresh cream cake shop in madipakkam and i am happy they are here now. Their truffles are very good. Got once on my mom's bday and it tastes amazing. Their crispy coconut cookies are damn good. After roaming around the city for birthday cake for my son, found that the minimum KG rate starts from Rs.550 for vanilla flavor ranging upto Rs..950perKG which definitely burns a hole in the pocket where designs for kids requires atleast 3kg in most shops. At last found this shop in Porur and was very surprised to prices from 400 to max 480. Had some doubts whether the designs will be good, but saw some cakes which was ready for order.
