The BBQ Chicken and the Shawrma Rolls are great to try. We had ordered full BBQ Chicken and we not disappointed at all with the size of it. It was nicely made and has the spices deep inside the meat.
This place is famous for the shawarma. Whenever I cross this hotel, the nose wafting shawarma....... pesters me to try it. The A/C room ambience for family dining is good.

If you are game for good food, Alreef is a great choice. The Biryani was very light and had a creamy feel. Malai tikka was awesome with their famous green chutney.
Butter chicken was sumptuous and good on quantity, more than enough for atleast 5 Butter Naan's. It's been long since I saw this big Naan's. Thanks for maintaining that.
Forgot to mention about the Manchow soup that v started with was a good one, and really worked as an appetizer.
The major let downs were the Shawarma rool and the ambience of the restaurant. I actually was lured by the reviews on the Shawarma as am a big fan of it. For me, the best Shawarma I have ever had is in Sea Shell and nothing has beat that yet.
I highly recommend Alreef for their decent price and good quality food. If you are a foodie it's a must visit!

in the middle of mannady a hotel which has seen many hotels. Alreef has managed to stay open for a long time now thats becaus of its quick service and some finger lickin shawerma.
The food is decent and the pricing is also reasonable. If u are feeling hungry this is the right place in George Town as it is open till 11 30.
Never try the deserts over here they are not up to the mark the name looks flimsy but the stuff is truly down market

A sudden craving for Atho made me travel all the way from Gopalapuram to Parrys corner. What's a foodie who doesn't do even this for food? I was bored to try places alone so I made sure my friend finished his work a hour earlier, dragged him out to the streets and made him eat out with me. After devouring a healthy (read as unhealthy) portion of atho, we decided to try shawarmas that are famous in this part of the city. I remembered a friend saying that Alreef's shawarma is one of the best in town. So we headed out to Alreef and this review is based on that experience.
Mannadi street is a foodie's secret comfort food street. The line up of atho shops and shawarma joints throng this already cramped up area stands as a testimony for this. The roads are narrow so forget the idea of bringing a car. Usually parking is an issue at other places, driving a car to this place itself is an issue here. Alreef was easy to spot thanks to it's illuminated nameboard.
There is a good amount of parking space for two wheelers. There are some places where the ambience and service must not be questioned at all and this one was one of those places. The ambience was still decent and not that bad types.
The outdoor kitchen unit has the shawarma set up along with the chicken grillers and tikkas and kebabs in skewers. We went with two shawarmas. At 60rs each they were ultimate value for money. It was served with pickled slices of beetroot, cucumber and chilli. The pickles were yummy. Shawarma was just out of this world. The amount of chicken and the fact that it was so succulent made it awesome. Though our country's take on the Turkish Shawarma a.k.a Doner Kebab is a questionable one, when it comes to taste, it's was as good as the original.
Overall, it was a perfect evening and we went home with a happy heart and a filled up tummy. Mannadi is a hidden gem when it comes to some awesome street food that's definitely gotta be tried.

You wanna know what arabian food tastes like??? Are you crazy for shawarma's..... mannady alreef is the best place....!!! The rice variety is a little bad but when you take some grill or naan or for that matter what ever comes under Arabic cuisine....!!! Alreef beats every other restaurant in town...!! The service is soooooo good that one of a waiter with whom I was close joined ITC grand chola later on... That's how the service is in alreef mannady..... TOTAL SATISFACTORY....!!!

Alreef is situated in the closest proximity from my office. My father and I buy our dinner from this place for a long time. I love their quality food. I never wrote any review so far. This is my appreciation post for Alreef for serving only the best food as always. I highly recommend people to try their grill chicken which is absolute treat to your mouth and their kebabs.
Do yourself a favor and definitely pay a visit this lovely restaurant situated in Chennai. The staff on the other hand so friendly and they care about your order. The ambiance of the restaurant is lit, so welcoming and charming. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is pretty good, so delicious. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Briyani was average, al faham was good, it was properly cooked inside and the masala has coated very well. American chop suey was good it was mixed with fried noodles, egg, chicken and prawn.
The food was good and the atmosphere inside the restaurant was fairly good. We dined upstairs. Just any outsider wouldn't want to walk up to that area whenever it rains.

It's a good restaurant for family, because the atmosphere is so much good. Compared to non A/C dining, A/C dining is properly maintained. There's no problem in food section. Punjabi chicken gravy and butter naan will be highly recommended. Sea food is not so much worth for money. Biriyani will be extraordinary (both mutton and chicken). Services should be improved. They are not bad in behaviour, but the attending of customers and serving of food becomes late. Parking facility should also be developed from Alreef side. Entirely it's a good family restaurant as it's mentioned in their name itself.

One the best hotel for paroota and roti in an around mannadi. This hotel is famous for paroota and khurma. This hotel also provide idle , it is also so nice. The price is also responsible in mannadi. The set of paroota cost only Rs. 25/- only. They provide 2 type of khurma.
