Had been here a multiple times.
Tried garlic naan, butter naan, tandoori roti and almost all the bread items.
In starters chilli panner was good.
Tried pepper mutton, chicken punjabi and many other gravies.
Tried chicken fried rice and falooda and ice cream here which are okayish.
So we usually go for naan and gravy.
Price is reasonable too.
Not bad ... But these guys take more time to prepare food and Hyderabad dhum byriani is yummy!!! Nice place to dine and its pocket friendly....
Went in to have lunch with my friends as my semester exams got over....The service was excellent...The food was good...The ambience was okay...The prices are okay...They could have sort of combos to help us choose dishes coz they have so much dishes to choose...

Located opposite to Sathyabama university @ the semmencheri crossing, this is a small but very decently maintained restaurant. They have both AC & Non-AC seating arrangements.
I ordered a chicken Biriyani and quarter plate Tandoori chicken. Service was very prompt. Full marks for that. The biriyani was okay, had a lot of spices added to it which was quite a distraction. The Tandoori chicken was well cooked. The overall quality of the food was better than I expected from the place. The pricing is very nominal too. This restaurant will do well in this locality.
Opposite to my college,i have been to this restaurant number of times.It is very cheap and taste is delicious .Every item in the menu is great(guess have tried almost all the dishes in 4 years of my college life) I couldn’t write the best dish here,as I couldn’t restrict it to one or two.
Service is good.
The best part is you can have good food at a very cheap rate.

Good Food, Quick service. One of the best places in Sholinganallur for North Indian Food. Though the guys are quite young and inexperienced, they brought everything in order and in time. Small place, Maintenance is done quite well. Targeted for youth, college goers and working bachelors.

Service is fast and gold .... Workers are friendly.... After the rebuild the place is much decent for a normal dinner or a lunch with Ur frnds... Exspesaly when u have a small budjet
This restaurant is quite close to my heart, writing this review I kinda feel biased. My friend and I(being the broke college students that we are) frequent to this place a lot. The people over there are quite friendly and nice. The food is amazing for it's price, I've tried a lot of stuff here and they all are decent.
A small hotel opposite to Sathyabhama University. One of the hotel I visit frequently. No AC and not a good place to sit and eat also in terms of tidiness. You must try their Grilled Chicken and Special Chicken Biryani. But no kuboos with Grilled Chicken, instead you will get tandoori roti. Fried rice are also good. But I am not a big fan of their Chinese gravy items.

I have been here twice. The first time it was just briyani at around 3 pm. When it is 3 pm it's quite obvious that the quality of the briyani will be poor and cold. I remember they served me less pieces which. Motivated me to demand an extra piece. ;-)
But when I went here the second time I went in with a few friends of mine. It was unfortunate that I couldn't eat non-vegetarian for the whole month. So we settled for vegetarian though I requested the guys to go ahead and have meat. But they sacrificed for. My sake and we ordered mutter Panner, mushroom Masala, garlic naans and Masala parathas. Not to forget the Panner mushroom dry as starters. I liked the starter very much. The mutter Panner with garlic naan was nice even though the garlic naans had less garlic with more butter. Mushroom Panner was average and had a slightly undercooked taste and odor. We actually ordered Masala parathas hesitantly for the fact being that the last time the other guys came they were served hastily uncooked parathas from the tandoori. This time it turned out to be good. I can settle for a rating of 3.5.
I have ordered Chicken butter masala, masala kulcha and chicken fried rice. All items were good and tasty. Cost is also reasonable. I ordered for home delivery.
Today I went for a lunch in New Chennai Darbar . I got the food quality is very good specialy Chicken Makhani and Mutton Mughoal Biryani . The place was very small but I thought how to manage as very well them . But need to improve them Service . Overall Good place for north Indian food . Keep it up team
The closest restaurant in Semmancheri from where I stay, I mostly have ordered online, quite prompt delivery. We've tried going there once but the ambience of the restaurant wasn't quite inviting.
We have stuck to the North Indian fare here and it has been consistently good. From Jaipuri veg masala and Matar Panner to the famous Butter Chicken, Tikka Masala, Chicken 65, they have been good. I guess the cooks are from the East, of which you can get an idea not only by looking at the menu but also from the taste of the dishes. And that's a good thing.
Loved the kulchas, especially the mutton kheema kulcha, garlic and mutton kheema naan.

Wow!! I am a lover of biriyani at this place. They serve hot chicken dum biriyani which is spicy and delicious to the core. As my college was near..i used to have biriyani from this place each time I come out of my hostel.
One of my favourite place to hangout in month end. Food is good for its price and I love the service. They can better improve the ambience and the quality of food. Roti and chicken chettinad are my personal favourite . do try once here!

Awesome restaurant! Fairly hygienic. Packing is good. Extremely bad service. Unprofessional behavior. They don't understand what you speak. But their food is tasty. Expecting combos. They do take too much time to serve or deliver. This is probably the only restaurant in the neighborhood to serve tandoori from 11am. Reasonably priced.
