Well maintained place...has managed to maintain its standards among many of its competitors..the desserts menu was huge with so many options (likewise the other courses too had many options to choose from)..i would say the best dishes were rose falooda and orange falooda which are a must try..chilli paneer was good and stood to its name without a lot of onions occupying the dish..waiters were very polite and offered us a 6 seater table for the 4 of us and the baby..price too came around 400 per each and we already had our stomachs full wen we were ordering for desserts..would definitely visit for a second time without any thoughts..
I was looking in Swiggy to order something, seeing Adai Avial and Diet dosai combo in Swiggy POP went with it. Food came in reasonable time. Packing was good. Both Adai Avial and diet dosai were good. Price is okay.

After a delicious, healthy and hygienic meal, I had to give this amazing place a review. If you're veg and are craving good south Indian food, this is the place.
Today I ordered their mini tiffin from Ubereats.. after discounts got it for Rs 75 only :D it contained a mini dosa, small idlis, pongal and some sweet. All things were super yummy, nicely packaged and so filling :) the food looked so good that I didn't take a picture. Will take one the next time.

Sangeetha has been a regular go-to restaurant for our family right from the day they set shop in Medavakkam. They are so nearby to my in-laws place and when we as a family decide to eat out, we invariably step in here.
Never had a bad experience out here in all these years. The Valet parking service is good but the road itself is now so congested due to the Flyover construction activities. If you're going on the Weekend, be prepared to wait as there will be a huge rush. Nothing different tonight as well. We had to wait for a good 15 minutes before getting a seat. Bigger the crowd, longer the wait time.
Coming to the food, its actually nothing to rave about. It's your standard vegetarian fare with a healthy dose of North Indian, Chinese mixed in.
Started with the Tomato soup which was somewhat sour tasting. We love the Paneer Satay here and we gorged on one tonight also. My FIL and MIL were satisfied with their Chapati Kuruma and Veg Fried Rice. Me and my wife were munching on the Chole Bhatura, Paneer Butter Masala and Butter Naans. Topped it off with a vanilla Milk Shake. Quite filling and satisfying.

The food is really good and it's THE place my family goes to for breakfast. I especially looovveee their mini Tiffin, it has a little bit of everything, and the kesari they give along is to die for... They use actual fruit extract instead of flavouring that adds to its taste. The other dishes are also near perfection, an amazing place for a veg person with variety and quality. Sangeetha is one of my favorite restaurants in Chennai. The south Indian food is mouth watering delicious. You must try their pongal and filter coffee. The south Indian meal option is great to if you are ferociously hungry. It is a bit crowded on weekends.

Sangeeta restaurant has become our family's go to place for home delivery. We ordered a North Indian thali and cheese phulka. The package of the thali was neat and the food tasted good. I strongly recommend chili panner and Panner Shanghai dry. Though the delivery time is a minimum of an hour, it's worth the wait.

It was one lazy Monday morning and had no mood to prepare breakfast so I called up Sangeetha and ordered a home delivery. They open at 7ish so that ways it's quite flexible for office goers too.
The order reached my home by 8. Pongal was too good covered with ghee. But the quantity was very less. Sambhar was good. Poori with masala and Kurma also tasted really good. The crispness of the rava dosa had gone. That's when I thought rava dosas are best when eaten hot. The food was little over priced to the quantity but the quality of food is excellent. Overall Sangeetha serves one of the best South Indian breakfast in town! A must try for all the South Indian foodies out there! :)

Have been a regular visitor here and there are absolutely no complaints with the taste and quantity of the food. Probably, the best Veg Restaurant in this area. At times, they serve things lukewarm which are supposed to be hot - Soups and Coffee on many occasions. Service is delayed on weekends as there would be a lot of customers thronging here.
Their Door Delivery has also been on time so far without any delays. Their packing for takeaways is exceptionally good.
Do try out their Sambhar Vadas during the early hours in the morning when the Sambhar is piping hot.
Had Lunch, Dinner several times. All are good...little expensive but some thing which we can trust upon. Masala Parotta, Thayir Vada are favorites...also better than Velachery Branch in my view

This place is a life-saver in a good-eatout-starved place. I am not sure what the difference is between the SVR brand I visited in Guindy and the brand in Adyar. I guess both fall under SVR only, just the logo is different or something like that. But I have always preferred the 2nd one (Adyar, Velachery and Medavakkam) over the 1st one (Guindy and other places).
This one, I would rate even better than Saravana Bhavan. The food, the service and the ambiance all in the positives.
I'd recommend the Tamil Nadu meals (ask for the Paruppu Podi!), the Paneer Masala Dosa, Paneer Biryani and Paneer Koftha Curry (Yes, we are Paneer freaks!!). The Kabab Da Biryani is something different, but I feel the addition of curry leaves takes the charm away from it. But hey, that's just my opinion!
My family would have been here at least 10 times (mostly dinner). Though we love non-veg much, For Veg days this is our final destination. Taste here is better than other Sangeetha restaurants in the city. fav items: Ghee roast , Adai Avial, mini idly, curd vada, poori....and Desserts. I would have given a full 5 rating but the only reason I am not is because they could improve a bit on quantity of sides like chutneys and sambar and also few waiters can be little difficult to handle. I prefer non veg as compared to veg but when i visited this restaurant, i felt good as the taste was really nice. I had ordered paneer patiala,mushroom chukka(as starter) and gulab zamun. All the items were very nice but the timing of these items were poor. First they served gulab jamun,then starters & main course at a time. But the taste was awesome especiallt paneer patiala
Simply the best South Indian food in Chennai. There are many outlets and the food taste is consistent across all places. Prices are reasonable. Prompt seating and polite customer service. South Indian meals and tiffin items are worth trying.
Avoid fried Dishes in this outlet , other than that other dishes are good.
Fried dishes smells and tastes like they have been fried in some strange oil , it feels like there is some effervescence , i noticed it in couple of fried dishes i had there and the last time i had friend baby corns, it was there again.

Other than that, food is good .
Happy that Sangeetha opened up in my locality... I good restaurant for South Indian Breakfast... Well maintained but the food needs to be better but as far as breakfast is concerned it is good.

We stay in this area and there are not too many good veg restaurants around. We have been there many times. Food is good - both north indian and south indian and the pricing is reasonable. Unlike other Sangeetha they dont have non-AC wing so a casual dining could pinch little more than usual.
Negative: They dont have proper rest room in the hotel and you have to use the common restroom available in the ground floor. Needless to say that is very dirty.
Went there in the evening . they have valet parking so you needn't have to worry abt parking had chat combo which had pav bhaji , pani poori , dahi papdi , samosa chenna . taste was nice a all the things were fresh . also try kuzhi paniyaram and sambar vadai . finish it off with a coffee .
Sangeetha is my all time favorite veg restaurant in chennai. The food they serve is of top quality. The atmosphere is lively. My personal favorite dish is Chilly Paneer and I suggest it to everyone who is a fan of paneer. Sangeetha is one of the best veg brand in the country. It's always a pleasure dining here. I have been to this place twice for Lunch. You can easily get seated on week days. But we need to get a table on weekends. First time I ordered Curd rice and Pomegranate juice which cost 150. The next time I ordered Executive meals. I was served the below:
A soup
Chappathi, paneer butter masala
Rice, Ghee and paruppu
Kottu, 2 poriyal, cauliflower fry, Kesari
Sambar, Rasam, curd and butter milk
An ice cream
Mint and beeda
I requested extra rice and had my stomach full. It costs 170 which I feel worthy.
Customer service was good. I definitely recommend this place.
Been here with my parents, this chain is way better than the velachery one. They have valet parking. They have daily special menu, which are really good. There mushroom fry is very good and can serve 2 to 3. All there dosa verities are good. Can visit anytime for a quick and good veg food.
Such a great place for veggies!! Our gang of six members had a great breakfast and paid Rs.550. Dosas are awesome!! Everything is good about the place. Just gets a little crowded at times.

Sangeetha is one of the giant chains of restaurants in the city but with uniqueness. Anybody would love the hospitality as I did not open my mouth except for the first order. Thereafter my requirements in the plate were taken care by them without uttering a single word by me. The ambience is nice with soft instrumental music in the background and a TV. Not commenting on price conscious, the quality remains the top priority.

I live in medavakkam and i am a big fan of Sangeetha medavakkam, i am a foodie and very regular to sangeetha, every time i go i order for different food.
Best part is their lunch, let it be packed or dining the taste remains the same, sambar, kara kozhambu, potato poriyal, and more. "simply superb" is what i can say.

Decent veg option in Medavakkam area. Has valet parking which is an advantage . Ambience is pretty good though nothing special to write about . Lunch is average only and mini meals is not recommended. Other items are good. Home delivery is available and can be ordered online . they deliver under 5 km at no extra charge for min order of 300 Rs.

Visited again today. Chat option also now included in evening menu (it's been there for quite some time if you didn't know ) . Tasted Sev Puri and Kuli Paniyaram, was decent, nothing unique or interesting there. Chettinad Idly has vada curry included into usual menu. Veg Makhanwala tasted good but it was not spicy and tasted pretty like paneer butter masala . All types of roti and nan have become waffer thin here,we ordered butter roti, pudina kulcha and garlic naan, all of them were pretty thin and two of us having ate all these items felt not that much stuffed towards the end which tells the smart profit made my restaurants these days by reducing size or quantity. When there is so much crowd these days, owners are laughing their way to the bank :-)
Great place to dine comparing to near by hotels in the surrounding..... Stranded of food wil be great... If u r planing for take away too u wil be served fast ... Price is something little of hike than normal....

One of the best Vegetarian hotels in this location. It is very big. Plenty of tables but always full. If you want to go better plan to be here 30 minutes early to get your table. Otherwise you will have to give you name & wait near the entrance for your turn. It may take 30 to 45 minutes. Plenty of Car parking. Food is just fantastic. They have plenty of variety & quality is excellent. Bit expensive but value for money.
Visited the new place. Big place with ample parking. You got to be lucky to get parking on weekends. Same for the seats. Food as usual it's good.. 👍
Loved this fried rice 🍚. Their dosa along sambhar and chutney's are the best combo..

For those who like to have veg, I would say this is the best place to have. I had a question in my mind when crossing this restaurant that why always crowds every time. I.e, Not only on weekends but also during weekdays. It answers all my questions after I have experienced it.
All organized well like Car/Bike parking, seating allocation etc..
Food - Taken orders immediately and all ordered food was received quickly without any delay.

The first taste of South Indian food in Chennai. I had a Quick Lunch and a Falooda. The former consists of roti and an assortment of rice and side dishes. The falooda after that lunch was a lot, because a falooda has a lot of different ice cream flavours, with vermicelli, chocolate syrup, jellies, nuts, a cherry and a chocolate wafer roll. And it was a regular sized falooda. I ate all my orders since it was tasty as South Indian food was a must try, my first visit to Chennai.
This was my 3rd visit to the new permises and was unhappy in my past two times with chola batura and masala parota , but this time i was satisfied especially with Tandoori platter which is a must have . 350-400 rs per person.
Service is little bad that we need to wait so much time to place order to the bearer

One of the best restaurants in the Medavakkam area . This group of hotels offer best in taste food items.
Good food and good menu options. Service time not bad. Seating ok. Didn’t visit the toilets so don’t know how good they are…hand wash area tidy. Waiters need showing little more patience and kindness. Did their job just need wider smiles.
One of the best vegetarian restaurants around Medavakkam locality. Must try at evening time are Sweet Paniyaram, Bonda, Mysore masala Dosa, Ghee roast. Falooda the all time fav. Quality was too good and service was Excellent. Highly recommend.
Recently I felt it is better than the A2b Selaiyur. The cost wise it's high. We had dinner the taste of the food is good. But the service people are average.
I ordered two Sambar Vadai and tea.Super soft vadai is dipped in Copious amount of thick Sambar which tasted excellent and freshly cut onion is given separately . Tea is first class.Hotel is neat and Waiters are quick & helpful. Definitely will visit again and geetham never disappoints.Bill amount was 147
