#mamashop - perfect place to hangout with your friends to fulfill your late night cravings. the place is situated in Anna nagar shanthi colony. the ambience is good, the blacked out theme of restaurant with dimm lighting is good. table with bar stool setup is super comfortable to sit and chaat with friends. coming to the food, we ordered
1. chicken Gorreng
2. chicken 555
3. shawarma roll
4. Rose milk
5. Ice milo
the quality of dish served and taste are so good. But the only downside is the portion is less for the price tag, u wont feel tummy full after having noodles, chicken 555 etc it will be like a side dish for someone who is very much hungry.
otherthaan that overall the ambience, taste, friendly staff/service i will give 5/5. only for offering less portion for high price tag i give 4/5.

For that midnight craving in you especially when you are slushed ... loved their maggi goreang and curd rice. It’s everything but a non alcoholic pub ... makes more sense when you come from a pub on a sat night ... it jus feels like it’s extension
Good Food
Just a suggestion on pina colada mocktail instead of adding coconut to it u and use only pineapple and prepare this like how u prepare for watermelon
But they have very limited menu
The restaurant is open late night. Best place to hangout after midnight. Calm and comfortable seating area. The food is great. Butter chicken Maggie was so delicious and the sandwiches are top notch. Do visit.
Great choice for good food after a night of drinks. Open till 4 am! Try their Spanish omelette.
I just loved the food..
Yummy and tummy filling, worth the cash..
The Mama shop, the title itself its catchy
Their ambience is too good, in the evening their lighting was OMG , in the walls they have some funky wordings in tamil & english which will attracted to everyone ..
About the food:
The chicken maggi Goreng wow what a taste the best dishes which must be tried everytime when we go there
One of the special shops in Chennai, which has got permission to be kept open during the whole night.
Variety - Variety wise it is bit on lower side, but has adequate ones for night eating.
Cost - Cost is bit on higher side, but considering night time permissions, overheads, it is OK.
So if you are an night-owl, this is one shop for you.
Ambience - This place had some beautiful interiors. The lighting was calm and the tables had charger sockets which I haven't seen in many restaurants. Music not too loud which was perfect for me.
Food - We ordered a Chicken Maggi Goreng, Gobi 65 and a Chicken Club Sw! The maggi goreng was tasty as heck, chicken sandwich became a little soggy and gobi 65 had the perfect batter and crispness to it. They have a limited menu and it's worth a try! :)
The MaMa shop and it's Maggi Goreng is irreplaceable. It's my top favourite restaurant for Maggi Goreng and night food cravings. I was a frequent visitor at Besant Nagar outlet but now they've opened newly in Anna Nagar with spacious interiors and great ambience.
The Maggi Goreng is a must try. I've also tried Club Sandwich and Gold Paneer which were also damn tasty.
Best ambience and food at affordable price. People in Chennai must try this place ! Had a very great time here ! According to me their signature dish is Chicken Maggie 😋👌
One good cafe.. reasonable price.. the ambience is really good.
Food tastes are also good.. there something called scrambled egg salad which is really tastes good..
Superb ambience and good tasting food.... Really good desserts..... Stays open even in late night.... So great place to order for late night cravings..... Overall, great restaurant to go hand out with your friends...
If you are a midnight person then you go here anytime cause they serve amazing foods and the ambiance is good the have wide range of food options and the quantity is also great. They even do deliver.. a must visit place
If you're a Chinese lover and you wanna spend reasonable, you can opt for this place...!!!
Ambience of this place will be funny 😂
Biryani was OK... but all the other items were good...!!!
The place is amazing, well decorated place with some funky wall paintings, the food was amazing and the service was prompt..curd rice with chicken 555,Maggi goreng is a must try!!! Totally worth the money!!!
Good ambience. Tasty food. Ordered Chicken Maggi Goreng and Chicken 555 (chef special) and both were surprisingly tasty. Great place to hang out after midnight. Highly Recommended.
Grest place for late night hangout. Two other friends and I randomly went through zomato and bumped into this place. Peculiar as it sounds, we wanted to try it out. So we headed down to this place.. The place had good ambience, nice music, seating is good but the charger points don't work. The food was really good especially the maggie tasted A-mazing 😍 I recommend that dearly. Then we ordered a veg n chicken club sandwich, a falafel shawarma, Gobi 65 and buttermilk. We were just disappointed we couldn't drunk our bucket screwdriver cause the place was out of ice. Please make sure that doesn't happen again. Otherwuse it was good. Thanks guys for the great tasting food ❤️Prawin Nagadi
After hearing many reviews n seeing tempting pictures of mama shop.. i went on weekday late lunch ..ordered the
Chicken 555 .. the andhra style .
Chicken Maggie goreng.. Resmi kabab
Curd rice
Acharri paneer tikka.. Everything was moderately good ... Good ambience the theme of Anna nagar..
n best eatery for midnight foodies.. open till 3 .am
The ambience is full on retro 'local' vibes! Been here a couple of times and if you go at the right time you can have the place all to yourself. There is indoor as well as outdoor seating. Although, outdoors is not where you want to be in Chennai summers.
Picture one is Chicken 555. It's a 10/10 with perfect seasoning and on-spot balance of flavours. It's a must-try.
Pictures two is the Maggi Goreng. It's a house special. This one is a 7/10. The concept and idea is amazing but, it lacks a bit on execution. It tastes like the love child of schewan noodles and Maggi and for that I'm thankful. But, it could do with better seasoning. The sauce that comes with it is weirdly watery and doesn't have much of flavour.
Overall a pretty good experience with good food to go along with it.
AMBIENCE. 9/10
TASTE. 8.5/10
VFM. 6.5/10
OVERALL! 8/10 .
When The MaMa Shop was doing its rounds in the internet, I came across their Maggi Mee Goreng. Me being someone who loves Mee Goreng and Maggi at the same time, badly wanted to see how it is. Hence went here one night for a light dinner.
The place is done up really nice with high wooden tables, chairs and rustic looking bulbs. The checkered windows give a really good vibe. I ordered their Chicken Maggi Goreng that came with a chilli sauce.
The noodles were dry and not your usual Maggi consistency. They had a bit of a char that was really nice. The chilli sauce provided that spicy kick to the noodles. On the whole, it was a really nice dish.
For dessert we had their Erode Paal Payasam and called it a night!
If you are looking for a really fun place that serves food with a twist, The MaMa shop is the place to go!

mama shop is located in shanthi colony near reliance trends. ambience has dim lighting and high stools for seating with an open kitchen. so u can see how ur food is cooked. we ordered pina colada and rose milk for drinks. for starters we got fried gold panner, spanish omlette and chicken 555. all the three were good in taste but chicken 555 quantity was less for the price. for mains we ordered falafel shawarma, veg maggi goreng, chicken club sandwich, schezwan chicken fried rice and reshmi chicken kebab. maggi was little spicy but other dishes were good in taste and quantity. this seems to be a late night restaurant so just go around 8pm if u need immediate service. on the whole it was a memorable evening spent with friends over dinner meetup.
This restaurant is located off the main Shanthi Colony road near Reliance Trends.
You have to climb up a narrow flight of stairs to reach this place which has an indoor and outdoor seating area.
The indoor space where I ate has high seating arrangements like a Bar area with the open kitchen dominating it.
You have to order at the counter and the food is delivered to you.
Went with the Chicken 555 and Spanish Omelette for starters which were good especially the latter ,though a simple dish packed flavour and texture.
For mains we went for the Scezhwan Chicken fried rice,Chicken Club Sandwich Reshmi Kabab ,yes definitely an overload of the bird but they were not serving seafood that day.
Also tried the veg Maggi Goreng which was on the spicy side.
Washed it all down with Rosemilk served in cute ,milk bottles.
The food is served in foil containers or on butter paper in wicker baskets which looks good but when you are in a group it forces communal eating which may or may not be OK for some.
They did not provide plates which they may consider doing for choosy clientele.
This standalone restaurant is located off a side street on 1st Street, Shanthi Colony, Anna Nagar. You can find enough parking space adjacent to the restaurant. It is located on the 1st floor. We arrived at 7 PM and to our dismay were informed that they open quite late and stay open till 3 A.M which is a big help for people with late hunger pangs.
The seating is on High stools and the table height is commiserate with the height of the stools. It has an open kitchen and you can see your food being prepared while you wait. You have to place your order first at the cash counter and as and when your food is ready they deliver to your table.
We wanted to order some seafood items but sadly they were unavailable that night and we had to satisfy ourselves with chicken and egg dishes. They have a 1 page menu and ordered Chicken 555 which is boneless strips of chicken sauteed with curry leaves and quite spicy, Reshmi Chicken Kabab which was again boneless pieces of chicken coated with a egg white topping and grilled on coals. The chicken was quite dry and the flavour had not permeated the meat and was tasteless as was the egg white covering. The Spanish Omelette was the star of the evening with pieces of omelette stir fried with bell peppers and onions. Falaffel Shawarma was OK. The Szhezwan chicken fried rice was good in a typical way. We also tried the Veg Maggi Goreng which was a bit spicy with addition of Malaysian spices. The chicken club sandwich had a fried egg with chicken and Mayo was pretty good and I washed the food down with Rose Milk which was served in glass bottles.
They serve the food on wicker baskets with wooden disposable cutlery which is eco friendly and if you are a fan of communal eating this is the place to be because they don't give you plates.
I surffed and find this one on Zomato. As it has catchy name.
Chicken Shawarma was disappointed one. Lots of cabbage and kubus were hard to bite.
Chicken Maggie goreng was satisfying. As its texture as well as taste.
Waiting time should be minimal. Waited more than half an hour for Maggie.
Ambiance looks great with background music 🎶

Ambience:
This place has a really soothing ambience. The lights are dim and not so bright. The seating has high-seated bar stools which are quite comfortable. They have an open kitchen and also outdoor seating in the balcony. They have quirky Tamil-related posters on the wall.
Food:
We ordered an Egg Maggi Goreng (3/5) which was good. I wouldn’t call it exceptional but it can be tried once. We were onto Chicken 555(5/5). This was an absolute surprise. It has a touch of south Indianess to it. The chicken is fried in curry leaves and is super flavoursome. We also ordered Paneer tikka (4/5) and Grilled Prawns (3/5). The Grilled Prawns were slightly burnt and could have been cooked with more care. The quantity is quite filling.
Service and VFM:
The service was extremely slow as we visited on a festive day and they apologised for it. This place is slightly expensive for the food it serves.
We visited this place on a day when the service was really slow.
This place has a very laid back ambience perfect for a lazy evening. They have some quirky wall paintings which depict different aspects of ‘Madras’.
The menu is interesting but limited. We tried the mutton kola shawarama, the chicken maggi goreng and the garlic shrimp starter.
The shrimp starter was amazing although it was a little too oily. But alls good when the food tastes amazing. Unlike a lot of others places they had the whole shrimp including its head portion. Man what a dish! High recomment it.
The Maggi goreng was another amazing dish that we tried. The flavours were so fresh and it was definitely one of the best maggi dishes i have ever tasted.
The only dish that dissapointed us was the mutton kola shawarma. This one i would most certainly not recommend. Better go for the chicken shawarma.
Overall a really amazing place with some awesome dishes and a nice ambience.
Such a great service... They take your feedback seriously and very descent food... Ambience is top notch 9/10 ..best late nite place to hangout...👌
Guys in IT are very much aware of this restaurant.. catchy name .. friendly food items.. the most importantly they serve till 3am open..
Delicious chicken dishes and the Indonesian of Maggi served here makes you feel comfortable.
Special Mention - Chicken 555 will be a must try.

The MaMa Shop – Madras Mazzeh takes inspiration from short eats around Madras and strives to provide food at ungodly hours. It is best for takeaways and for home delivery. The dishes taste really yummy and they have a very limited dishes to their menu.
The one thing that is really very impressive about this place is we get to see how the dishes are being made and how well the core product is being prepared and we can also customise the dishes as per our choice.
Really a nice spot for midnight bites and cool place to hangout with friends at night.
This branch is large enough to accommodate 20 people, when compared to its another branch which is at Adyar, this place is spaces and a great spot for friends.
The mama shop is just tooooooo good! They are open till 3am and serve all good food!
Their curd rice and egg thokku is a must try! Their noodles too.
Their screw driver drink is just too cool.
Their theme based on their area is appealing..
A great hangout place with friends. Must try!
Visited here for a lunch and had a very good experience.
Ambience - It was 'not too big not too small, beautifully hanging yellow lights and comfortable seats with a portable charger in each table' place. The ambience was truly welcoming.
Food - As we were very hungry ordered rice though knowing their goreng was famous.
Chicken 65 briyani - Never expected their briyani to be too good but they really were and so were those chicken 65 but on another side I would say the cardamom on the briyani was high otherwise it was soooo gooood.
Chicken fried rice - Like every other fried rice, well cooked chicken, veggies and also rice and was really tasty.
Chef's special Chicken 555 - Chicken strips mixed with spices were flavourful but the flavour that got us was the fried curry leaves along with the chicken. The aroma and the taste of the dish was so good. It was like eating a home cooked dish. Though prices were high, the quantity was more as well.
Feedback - Though the dishes were so good everything was above 200 rupees, a bit on the costly side. That can be looked after. And I wish they can give glasses of water instead of charging for them as well. But surely a very good place to visit. Would love to go again for their other dishes.
The Mama shop has a good looking, well maintained ambience. The serve shawarma till midnight. And also they have open kitchen. I went around 11pm and ordered the signature "chicken 555" from them. It was mid spicy and served with mayo. They have a separate open smoking area. For late night dining you can visit the Mama shop.
Nice place to visit ❤ and food taste was too good and we planning to comeagain.. add more menus like quick bites and shakes other than rose and butter 🍨🍧🍮🍪🍩🥧☕

It’s truely a wonderful place to chill out with your gang. Funky wall posters that suits the theme👍

Chicken Maggi Goreng : Our day to day junk food becomes a yummy meal by adding some Malaysian twist to it. Goreng is a form of frying the ingredients in a “Wok”. The noodles is fried with some chicken cubes and Malaysian spices garnished with some spring onions. This became my favourite comfort food🥢🥡 from the moment I dived into this bowl of goodness🥰
Chicken 555 : Chicken strips fried with some flavourful Indian spices paired with my all time favourite “Thachi Mamu” AKA Curd rice is a definite Winner Winner Chicken Dinner moment for me 🍲🏆
Achari Paneer Tikka : Well marinated chunks of soft Paneer cubes 🍢grilled to perfection makes a best vegetarian starter 👍
Chicken & Veg Fried Rice : Both the dishes where good with perfectly cooked rice and adequate amount of add-ins🥕🍗🥗🍚.

Ps: The concept of this place to provide comfort food in a cozy environment won me over. Serves simple recipes that we relish in our day to day life with a slight twist in it😜
One of the best Indo Chinese outlets in the city. We had their curd rice with chicken and the Malaysian speciality guang chicken fried rice. The spice level was top notch and the flavour was on point. The curd rice combo is a must try as you won't find this anywhere else. The cold curd rice and the spicy chicken will absolutely render you flabbergasted. The ambience was pretty decent and their beverages are good too. Ice Milo, that's something different and delicious. I would recommend this to anyone and this will be one of my regulars..!!!
The ambience of the hotel is damn cool. It can be used a place for meetups, A workspace. As each of the table has it own plugpoint where we can connect phones and laptop. .next to food they goreng the awesome infused with malaysian and our style. With good ambience and food this place deserves 5 star

Went there past 12 at night. Didn't expect much, but was pleasantly surprised.
The ambience was fun and lit up well. The walls have nice comic art murals drawn on them. You can see the kitchen as it has a see through window all around. There's outdoor seating on a balcony too, if you want to smoke. Also, so thankful for the phone chargers at each table! There was a group having a birthday party there. Useful to celebrate there because it had really large portions for items especially for such occasions, at really nice price points.
The food options were quite unique. We had the:
1. Hummus wrap
2. Chicken 555
I had the wrap, which was good, while my friend had the chicken, which she said was tasty and spicy. It was to our liking. Good place to catch up with friends, at affordable prices. Will go again if it's late at night, and I'm hungry. :)
This place is one to look out for.
Perfect ambiance surrounded with subtle lighting and an outdoor seating.
Their menu is super simple but tastes delicious, and they do have curd rice which is a major plus.
They're open till midnight 3AM which satisfies your late night cravings
EGG MAGGI GOREONG :-
A heavy bowl maggi served along with sweet chilli sauces which balances the taste very well.
CHILLI GARLIC PRAWNS :-
King prawns deep fried and seasoned with roasted chilli garlic accompanied along with mint sauce.
Prawns were soft and cooked very well.
ICE MILO :-
The famous Malaysian drink and it didn't excite me much, this was a drawback.
IN ESSENCE :-
A Chinese-continental shop with a pinch of South Indian.
The MaMa Shop! A great place to have fun with you friends. The ambience there is awesome, but still can be improved. Those quotes relating Chennai slang and stuffs... good one.
I ordered a Chicken Sandwich and Rose milk. I know this is a strange combo. But there are only 2 drinks available in this restaurant. Buttermilk and rose milk. I have no other choice than this. I would suggest to add few more shakes and drinks.
But the taste of the Sandwich was finger-licking good. The rose milk was also good. I still have that bottle in my home ;)
I have given 4 stars. 1 star for the ambience, 1 star for the way they present the food, 1/2 star for the delicious food, 1/2 star for the awesome staffs. I have not given the 5th star because of the lack of availability of drinks.
On the whole... a restaurant in Anna Nagar that's worth for the money you shell out!
Tried chicken 555 , chicken 65 briyani and prawn Maggie goreng.....briyani tasted good and 65 marination was super good ....chicken 555 was ok ......prawn Maggie goreng tasted good but felt the prawn we're not that fresh .....over all a good experience...
The place is perfect to catch up woth your frends and its a very differemnt menu. A lot different items to pick from and their maggi goreng is worth a try. Almost all the starters are served with the same "chilli sauce" which is pre packaged. Their service and the staff are really friendly and make you feel welcome.

Me and my friend after shopping whole day, wanted to have food badly and so we ended up going there as it was very near by, but must say that the food and ambience was too good. They serve starters ,wraps ,noodles and juice pitchers. They had even combos but I felt they would have come up with different combos. Overall one good place to hangout with friends.
Was longing to go for this restaurent and eat Maggie goreng.. at last went.. ordered egg Maggie goreng.. but not that level.. it was smelled different.. and ordered chicken 555 it was awesome in taste and spicy.. ordered chicken fried rice as take way it was also okay.. plzz improve the taste.. awesome ambience..the black ambience was good
We were looking for some late nightout after returning from madurai, there we dropped in at the ma ma shop around late mid night,, located opposite to Reliance trends ,easy to catch up !!
Loved the ambience with quirky wall decor and service was quick and prompt!!
Coming to the food ,we went for chicken 555 which was chicken strips cooked to Perfection topped with celary,,the chicken was tender and delicious with mayo!!
Then the club sandwich was 3 layered with egg, tomatoes and onions ,,the taste was good with crispy toasted bread and yum stuffing inside!!
One of the must visit place for all night owls, which satisfy in terms of taste , ambience and service!!@
Happy eating:)
The concept of a late night eatery is very refreshing in a place like Chennai. The ambience and facilities at the place are on point. The selection is a bit off for a late night menu though and it could have been only me but the taste was not to my liking. Apart from that I dig their concept.

This is a late night restaurant till 3 am, they prepare everything fresh after ur order not already prepared we saw how they prepare and things
Ambience is cool and superb with the lighting’s
And setup differently
Service is awesome, we liked a lot they served us well especially at that late night by 1 no tiredness nothing active and charming that’s how the service should be
Moving to the food we ordered chicken 555 chilli prawns and noodles and some fish starters
Prawns where awesome yaar other dishes were equally good but prawns won the show and one thing bad was quantity was so less otherwise its an awesome place
Everyone should try
Especially when u want a long drive late night food
There’s always a sense of comfort when you eat something that you like. And if it tastes great, it scores a perfect 10 from your palate and your taste buds. Plus you give yourself a big pat on the back and boost of self-confidence for making such a great decision.
That’s how biryani is for me. It’s the stress buster, the one that makes my mood 10x better and something I see myself craving for on a regular basis.
This one from The Mama Shop served really good quantities of food and a perfect value for money. In terms of flavour it was Delish, but the only thing overpowering was the Elaichi in it. The salad and egg did it’s bit of balancing out the flavours though. And I wouldn’t mind giving it a try again.
The newly opened shop is located in anna nagar, adds to the west life of Chennai. The place has an amazing ambiance. The décor of the place is really really good. The tables over here have plug pins so you can charge your phone or any other electronic gadgets. When you enter the shop, you have big graffiti on the left side saying the restaurant name. The lights over here are very good to look.
Moving on to the food, the have a lot of chicken dishes over here. Their menu is simple and small, helps in making decision quickly especially when you are going in groups with your friends. Went over here with a couple of my friends to eat for lunch.
First, we started with chicken Maggie goreng. It was basically Maggie with chicken pieces. It had an amazing masala and scrambled eggs. It came along with a chilli dip. There was some paneer and spring onions in it making it taste good.
Next We had chicken 95 and chicken 555. Both were shredded chicken strip with beautiful flavours. The spices that they use here are really authentic and good combination. The chicken pieces are really soft and tender. They were really delicious.
We thought of having a drink, so tried screw driver juice. It came in a big tub with 4 straws, it can easily hold up to 1 litre of juice and 4 people can share it. It was really good. After that we wanted to try rose milk and butter milk, they came in 2 small glass bottles and they were very refreshing for the summer heat.
Next dish was chicken club sandwich, it was not the normal bread that they use here but a different one- its flavoured bread. It had shredded chicken, island sauce, onions, cheese, omelette, tomatoes. One thing to notice is that it’s a double layered bread. All these ingredients were kept between 3 slices of bread. Haven’t tried like this before but this was good.
My friends wanted to try prawns. So went for tandoori prawns. The prawns were marinated with masala and then grilled. Came along with green chutney. But the prawns were a bit over cooked. The backside of the prawns were roasted and was completely black.
Last but not the least tries curd rice and egg thokku. It was a very good combination, the egg thokku had boiled eggs, masala and onions. It was flavourful and having it with curd rice was a wonderful combination.
Overall this is an amazing place to try. A must visit pace when you go out with your friends in anna nagar. When going with family be careful because the seating over there is tall chairs, old people will find it difficult to sit. I wold rate it 4/5[food, ambiance, taste, quantity, price].
I like the food they serve here the Maggi twist was going very well and I even liked the ambience and service only think I would suggest to em is to keep the water accessible and maybe cut out on the use of plastic . Thank yu 😁
Loved overall food and ambience. Funky Pakka local madras theme based restaurant with funny quotes. Ppl can give a try here. 🤩 Though minimal variety in menu card, it’s cleAn n simple. 😎
Their first branch which is in Adyar has been there on my bookmarks for a very long time and I never got a chance to visit it and it think it's majorly because of the distance but thank God finally they've opened their 2nd outlet in Anna Nagar. Absolutely loved their quirky interior and especially their wall painting which will make you laugh really bad and if your dumb but sorry their wall paintings is not for you xD.
The service was good I really loved how the natural light enters the restaurant and I personally love restaurants which has some natural light (sun light) . The menu is simple and well constructed and will not make you go confused. They are open till 3 am so if you guys ever plan for a late night eats it ever get midnight cravings then this is place you head to . So now let's get to the food what we had during our visit.
We started off with the drinks which was a ROSE MILK and BUTTER MILK served in a glass bottle. The rose milk wasn't too sweet and just perfect for my liking. The Butter milk is what you should go for that extra spice kick . It had spices well mixed in it and also the coriander leaves chopped and added to it . They also have bucket drinks which is best to share along with your friends or just have it by yourself just like I did. They have three types of bucket drinks which are basically served in a bucket and all three are fizzy drinks. My personal favourite was the PINA COLADA .
First things first we kick-started with some starters which were absolutely lip smacking. CHICKEN 555 was one of the favourites which are basically Chicken strips tossed in a spicy indian fusion kinda sauce. Then the Reshmi kebab was also equally good but the chicken 555 set the marks high. In Vegetarian starters we had the achari paneer tikka which did justice to it's name cuz In other places the name achari doesn't mean anything but just added colour.
And for main course we had quite few varieties of dishes and all served in reasonable quantity which would do good for a single person. We tired their PRAWN MAGGIE GORENG which is newly launched in their menu . I just loved the way the Maggi is cooked and the prawn flavour along with it is just so flavourful to taste. The CHICKEN CLUB SANDWICH is a must try and it leave you full cuz it's a whole meal by itself , it's a must try if you visit them ever starving. We also tried the shawarma which wasn't up to the expectations and was blunt in taste. Vegetarians they got you covered with their curd rice ( just kidding they have wide range of Vegetarian dishes too) and it goes absolutely well with their egg thooku and it's one hell out of a combo.
Over all a really cool place to visit with your buddies or you could just visit them by yourself just to try their Chicken club sandwich or their prawn egg goreng. The price might be a bit on the costlier side but trust me it's totally worth it.

Be it food, pricing, ambience, service etc.
Just one word 'WOW' 👌
Step in right away without any second thought.
Maggie Goreng, Schz. Rice, Rose milk are my pick🖤
The MaMa shop
A very good restaurant which serves south Indian , Continental and also Chinese cuisines.
The ambience was really eye grasping and i was quite impressed with wall painted dialogues, they also have a charging point in every table which is quite interesting.
Starting with the drinks I had rose milk, The traditional butter milk, Pina colada- A drink made with pineapple and coconut and The screwdriver- A drink with berry and watermelon juice.
Coming to the dishes I had chicken 555 which is a newly launched dish there where the chicken strips is marinated with spices and deeply fried, Prawn maggi goreng a perfect chinese dish which is righty cooked with medium amount of spice, Chicken reshmi kebab- the kebab is cooked well but i felt that it was slightly blunt in taste, Veg fried rice- the rice tasted awesome but i felt the rice was slightly raw, egg thokku- A traditional south indian boiled egg thokku which really tasted great, Achari paneer skewers- A perfect vegetarian dish where the paneer is mixed with spices and then cooked in kebab style, Banjara chicken - A spicy chicken topped with egg fluff, Chicken club sandwich - This is my best pick in this place a perfectly toasted bread clubbed with chicken and cheese to get a exotic taste, A spicy & non-spicy shawarma and finally curd rice.
The overall experience was good and when coming to the price i felt that the rates of the dishes are slightly over priced.

The Mama Shop - striked off bookmark list..
Situated in Anna Nagar, the place has good ambience and also has smoking zone.
For the starters, I had the Chilli Garlic Prawns which was perfectly cooked. The Chicken 555 was very good and had a traditional taste to it.
The Chicken Goreng Maggi is a must try here. It makes you wonder if Maggi can taste like that. Loved the Chicken Schezwan Fried rice as well.
I was disappointed that Iced Milo wasn't available. But definitely looking forward for it the next time .

The food is really good!
But to my disappointment the portions were not sufficient and for the price I paid!
Also I couldn’t get any drinks other than milkshakes because it was only available as a pitcher for four people!
I really would have loved it if I had drinks just for one.
Apart from those , good food and ambiance.
Nice ambience and it's a good place to chill, Food also tastes good , it's one of the few restaurants in city tat is open till 4 AM, it's cost efficient and worth every penny!

I'm happy this place is open late in Anna Nagar. Great ambience! People can charge their phones at the table too. These starters are amazing - chicken 555, Reshmi kebab and chicken shish tawok. The chicken shawarma is pretty meaty, and the fried rice is good for 2. The only miss here is the falafel, which did not taste anything like the real falafel from the middle east. We also had rose milk and butter milk, which were good! Overall a great place with brilliant food, especially when you're hungry at night.
As soon as i saw the Interiors i felt like Shouting "Thaa Madrasi da" such a cool place, with Decent interior and Decors, loved the paintings and wordings on wall, Coming to Food 😍 The Menu itself was interesting ❤❤ Had chicken fried rice and Tandoori prawns ❤❤😋😋 I'm a Seafood lover and to b Frank i had the best Prawns here today. Will Definitely visit this place again and again just for prawns Atleast✨ Pricing is pretty high. Apart from that Ambience to service everything was good🙌 p.s I loved the Rose milk😋

Nice place for late night eating with friends. The dishes they served was tasty and worth for money especially Chicken 555 , Banjara Chicken and Chicken Maggi Goreng. But the sea food is not available at 2AM and also they take little bit time to deliver the food.
Since Me and My Friend Wanted a picture for Dp so we decided to checkout this place it's very easy to locate this place it's in shanthi Colony Anna Nagar also it's very close to Reliance Trends .We order 2 chicken 65 Briyani And 2 Rose Milk trust me the Briyani Was toooooo tooo good but i didn't like their thayir pachadi and also Rose Milk was Good .The Man at the counter i think he must be the owner He is extremely kind and humble person we were quite impressed also definitely coming back .
Great place for group of friends to chill on weekends, compact and innovativeAmbiance . polite service done . Food tasted like home made traditional with a twist.
A cute little place in the midst of busy Anna nagar.
Ambience was compact with black and white wallpapers which had hilarious tamil movie dialogues.. dim lights added more charm to the place. They have peep through kitchen, where can watch you food being cooked and they prepare everything fresh so you have to wait for sometime to get the food on the table. I liked their service. Especially when it's getting delay to serve your order, they came to my table, apologized and ensured that the food reached us ASAP.
Their menu is quite limited compared yo other cafes in town, but every dish is a must try. We ordered eral varuval, mutton chukka, egg Maggi goreng, chicken maggi goreng, chicken spring roll. The prawn and mutton was cooked right. Nothing much about the gorengs but they tasted good. The spring role was little oily but the stuffing(finely chopped bell peppers and chicken) was cooked well.
Overall, a nice place to hangout with your friends and have good food.
Will recommend and visit again.

Shop has excellent Ambience and the food also tastes so good. Must try spot for dine in or take away. Cost would be average but not over priced. If you are thinking for Late night dine in must try shop. We ordered chicken rice and Chicken 95. Rice was so so good and had adequate quantity for a single person. Chicken 95 it was quite spicy yet dry, if you like raw spicy then chicken 95 is for you. Overall must try shop
If you are looking for a late night dine-in spot in anna nagar, then you should definitely visit the Mama shop. We tried their signature recipes and I totally fell in love with them. We tried the following items from their menu:
Chicken fried rice
Chicken maggi goreng
Chicken 555
Szh chicken fried rice
Rose milk
I loved everything we tried except the rose milk which could have been better. I can’t wait to visit this place again. Thanks for your great service and experience.
Cute and warm cafe like ambience with high chair seating. Need to order at the counter and food will be sent to your table. Limited menu but extremely generous portion sizes and delicious food. Very very reasonably priced. Must visit place.
Located in Anna Nagar easy to reach , timings are the key hear you can have yummy food even if you go at 3AM , very good ambience and don’t forgot to taste their signature dish chicken 555
Food was tasty and ambience was good too..Their signature dishes Maggi Goreng and chicken 555 was too good..Had mutton kola Urundai, it was little bigger than what we get in other restaurants...Final touch Mojito bucket was worth every penny..
We loved the ambience. The food tasted excellent and the quantity was really good. A peaceful place to hang with friends.
Good place in Anna Nagar. The taste was quite good. I felt that it was a birthday pricey for the quantity served. Overall, this a decent meet up spot for friends in Anna Nagar.
It's a good place to hangout with friends.
I've been to Mamashop around 5 - 6 times, the ambience is very good. If you set the right kind of atmosphere, your customers feels comfortable and enjoy their experience at your restaurant.
When it comes to food, they offer a variety of foods which really tastes good. So here is my favorite.
1. chicken Maggie goreng
2. Ice milo
So yes! Its definitely a good place to hangout with friends.
