An awesome biriyani.... I love biriyani here.... The only thing is you can't sit alone over there.. all the tables are having 6 seats and mostly the restaurant is crowded so we have to share the table with stranger and we can't have any private conversation while eating.... Apart from this food and chicken pakkoda is awesome here...
An good biriyani shop in K.K.NAGAR. The taste of the biriyani was lovely and yummy. Try and don't miss it. The cheap and best biriyani shop.
Awesome biriyani at pocket friendly price.
Correct spice level , juicy and tender chicken pics. Whenever I visit k k nagar I never miss to buy it.
Love for briyani exacerbates from this. The best quality and quantity of briyani you can have for the cost. Place that has AC during the hot afternoons also. The must try tag belongs to this place also.
Have the kushka with chicken pakoda. And they serve the best kathrikka thokku. Love it.
I ordered for a function in home .
Cost efficient ,quantity & quality was satisfying. On time delivery in proper packing . The side dish onion raitha & brinjal gravy was avg .
Best biryani place you can find in this region... The mutton biryani is more famous than the chicken... The brinjal gravy was delectable... Even the garden chicken which we ordered as an appetizer was pretty good....
It's the awesome place to have biriyani. Don't ever miss this biriyani when your in chennai. And now we have buhari in all places in chennai
Myself and my Guys have a craving for this place especially after a great Saturday evening after guzzling some beers!!! Have been having biriyani
here since 2011 when the prices were Rs 40/Biriyani and when the place was just a shack with low lights..All that hs changed and yet the
taste of the biriyani reminds the same.Just 15min walk from my place and always a delight to have food here with friends.Love the preparation and the Special Chicken

I went here with my friends. we ordered chicken, mutton & 65 briyani..!!! It was Really good and delicious biriyani. The rice was so puffy and the spices used was top notch. The quality of mutton and chicken is really really juicy and tasty..
Thalapakatti has significantly improved the quality and taste of food now, from their decline few years back. Overall, most items were good and worth a try. The chicken porichathu was well cooked and tasty, tawa meen/fish fry is one of their unique items and never disappoints. The mutton biriyani was the only disappointment, which is surprising as that's their signature item - the rice tasted good but the boneless pieces were hard and not eatable.
Update: Tried the mutton biriyani here after a long gap, and it was good. Tawa meen roast continues to be good.
Very good taste biriyani, too much crowd, late service,
I ordered boneless mutton biryani. It was one of the bestest biryani I have ever tasted. It had the correct proportion of spices and was not too oily. The restaurant had a good ambience.
The only con was that the quantity of mutton was very less in the biryani as compared to the price. The masalada lemonade was average.
Sunday couldn't have been better than visiting this restaurant. Delivery was delayed but worth the wait. Biriyani was good. Fish finger was not that great. BBQ chicken was good. Spacious place to have food and waiters explain you patiently
The food here was good. Especially the South Indian dishes. The Chinese dishes like fried rice and noodles were only so and so. The chicken milagu soup is a haven for people with cold. The mutton Kola ball briyani had 5 button kola balls but felt like the quantity of the briyani was less

DT 🔥. Delay in orders, food is good! 🤤
Loved the taste. But the quantity is reducing every half year. So please provide us worth for the price. The atmosphere is so decorative and the servants are kind. But the dishes are not served on time. Waiting for dishes make us bored and frustrated. So if you want a perfect south biriyani , definitely try this place.
Writing this review to solely appreciate Captain.Hariharan- who strived to make our late evening dinner outing a happier one, despite the restaurant had very limited choices to offer. It was our time of entering the restaurant which made his task tougher - 10:30PM but he ensured he politely helped us through the food choices and they were relatively quicker to be served. All 5 stars to him and the kitchen staff, the stock-out biriyani took away the fifth star though!!!

We have ordered for boneless mutton biryani, Mur Mur chicken sticks ,chicken kuthuparatha.the pieces in biryani were so less .
All were good especially chiken stick starter was OSSUM.
We went for lunch and the place was not very crowded and very well maintained. Before taking order they should be more cautious about what the customer is ordering. We ordered Schezwan fried rice but received normal fried rice. We were very hungry so we didn't bother to ask for a replacement.
Ambience:
Good
Service:
Ok
Taste:
Briyani taste was good but the fried rice rice was semi-boiled.
Parking:
Limited space
Mr. Hariharan is very sweet and professional. He made the dining experience 10x better with his humble attitude . Food was great. Kalkozhi is my favourite of all.
Tanvir served us and the food here is amazing! Tried the special mutton biryani here and it was heavenly.
