It was raining cats and dogs, and my friend and I took shelter right in front of this bakery. Due to the weather demands, we zeroed into have something hot.
We ordered for two portions of chicken Puffs and oke portion of a Chocolate pastry. The Puffs were served hot and was really fresh. The chocolate cake was delicious, with the right amount of sweetness.
If you're looking for some fresh bakery stuff in Perungudi, definitely crescent is the place to consider. The rates are also reasonable.

One of the cheap and best bakery found in the Perungudi area. The Puffs variety here is really amazing as they bake differently here and it's a must try. The cake here is also amazing and the price is reasonable too
This place is a special mention for the taste of good cakes n breads.. ordered a black forest cake for my office mate and to my surprise the cake was all good and fresh! we dint want to waste the cake rubbing over faces!! their chicken puffs are indeed too good

I am huge fan of local bakery shops. And my love for the small bakery shops started in kerala where the bakery shops look deceiving but if you miss out on going in there because of the look of it you are in for a loss. Most bakery shops in kerala have amazing home made buttery pound cakes and veg puffs and squash juices
Crescent bakery is one such bakery shop which you will really miss out on if you don't try it. Since I love exploring bakery Shops this is one the places I am glad I found.
They have a really good selection of sweets and savoury items.
Starting with the sweet and pastries, must try their chocolate truffle cake and Black Forest. Walk in at 3.00pm or 4.00 pm and you will get hot and freshly baked sweet rolls. They have some really heart warming pudding cake and banana cake and walnut cakes. All very good and sooo reasonably priced.
Coming to savouries, they have hands down the best egg puffs and they are most of the time sold out . The veg puffs veg rolls are equally yummy too. Cutlets are another top list item in their menu.
They also have freshly baked breads and their oat bread is our favourite.
So all in all it's a awesome little place for some take aways and at home movie time snacks or just a place to satisfy your 4.00pm sweet tooth! And what's more it so easy on ur pocket !!
The shop is located behind the perungudi bus stop going by the size and looks of the shop I wasn't quite interested but the quality of the cakes and snacks was really good the cakes taste was equivalent of the ones you get in French loaf and other leading cake shops the black current cake is a must try also the puffs roll and pizza have a unique taste the price is slightly in the higher side but surely a must visit

Picked up 2 chocolate mousse and some buns from this bakery.
The chocolate mousse really exceeded expectations. It was fresh and fluffy and the cake part (at the bottom of the cup) was soft and moist.
Prices are reasonable.
The buns were really freshly baked and soft.
Will definitely try their cakes next time :-)
We have ordered couple of cakes from this shop and I loved it, even better than Cake World. The quality of the cake was super as it was sliding inside your stomach like butter.Â

Just happened to visit by chance because I was looking for Egg Puffs. They were best we had in Chennai so far. Also, their tea cakes are very simple and tasty. I never miss to visit it whenever we cross Perungudi toll. The staff is very courteous and friendly.
Good One. Yes - bit cramped if you are planning to eat there. But as a bakery to get some stuff home - this is the best one among the others at Perungudi. The choice of items (snacks) is big. The people are too gentle and courteous. Apart from the regular puffs and burgers try - Panneer Rolls, Bread Chilly, Banana Cake. Got a cake (in 3D shape of McQueen the racing car from movie Cars) for my son's birthday. Great effort and Excellent Taste.
Again this year 2016 wanted a cake for my son's birthday and this the favouritism has shifted from McQueen to Minions. So my first choice was Crescent and they did a great job. The idea was from the Internet but excellent work and taste. Managed to get a snap before the kids jumped upon 😉.

Cool bakery.. All the cakes are so yummy especially choco truffle.. They don't have a lot of varieties but still are cool in what they offer. The chicken puff an roll and are tasty! Value for money bakery!
An amazing bakery. Well organised of various "bakery food". Without a doubt the best bakery in Perungudi. They have made many variety of pastries. After school me and my friends head to Crecent to blow off school tensions.
Very nice place for puffs. Tried veg puff, egg and they have two more varieties paneer and chicken also...wanna try pastries sometime they have wide varieties of pastries.. And about place its just stand and eat...don't expect seating and they receive well...

One of d finest bakers in d city I would say... the twist rolls nd their products are amazing... missing a star coz of d space... it does not have a table facility too... very compact space... if u wanna taste some better cakes at affordable prize... go fr it... birthday cakes lack variety... they r too mainstream models... juz fr a hangout with friends it's a fyn place though...!!!

This spot is located near world trade center. We have recently visited this bakery and tried their pastries. The pastries are very fresh and tasty and the prices are affordable. Well maintained ambience and hygienic spot. They have variety of pastries and puffs. Choclate truffle really tasted good. Must try this spot for a quick snack.
Best place to have puffs in perungudi! I have been eating here since 3 years now and yet they have the same taste at same price. The best part is they serve everything fresh and the shop even has Ac. Egg puff and veg cutlets are my go to snacks when I visit this place. Hope you enjoy eating here🙂
This Bakery reminds me of my native because there is one go to place kind of bakery which I used to visit offering fresh and tasty items and a big menu to chose from.
Love the Bakery and the owner is generous, Every time I visit he greets me with gentleness Alhamdulillah.

Brownie (just the taste I love, neither too sweet nor dull just perfect, for me atleast)
