Take out here is good. Ice cream cakes are good and no compromise here. Yes packing is good to keep the cake without melting. Ice cream scoop quantity seems to be less guys. Could increase a bit guys it’s less compared to what others are giving.

The Belgian Chocolate is a MUST TRY. Some new yet exciting flavors are Swiss Chocolate and Honey N' Fig. The Very Strawberry and Lychee Delight are also some of my favorites. The toppings include chocolate, duo-chocolate (a MUST TRY) and white chocolate chips, wafer rolls, and sprinkles (chocolate and rainbow). I would not recommend the chocolate fudge drizzle or the extra honey as I saw a fly on it. Definitely needs to work on insect control.

We ordered Ibaco chocolates twice. They had a great collection of Milk and Dark chocolates, also combos as Fruit Collection (6pcs), Berry Collection (6pcs), Assorted Collection (12pcs). Each and every chocolate tastes heavenly. I have never tasted such awesome chocolates. They had a very sweet packaging for single chocolates as well as combos. Full Disclosure: I'm not an ice cream person at all! The only ice cream i really enjoy is Ibaco's chocolate and vanilla ice creams - mainly becuase of the nut and choc syrup toppings. Yummax! My son on the other hand LOVES their pistachio icecream and pretty much everything here.
Went on a Saturday evening with a friend, kind of big enough to accommodate people when compared to chronometer store. We had lychee flavor and the musk melon .
Musk melon was good and the lychee was not upto the mark. But their fig and honey was my all time favourite😁😁✌️

Ibaco is an outlet spotted very frequently in Chennai, and occasionally in Bangalore. My friends and I visited the Thoraipakkam outlet a number of times during our 3 months in Chennai.
The concept is commonplace these days. You pick an ice cream flavour, choose your toppings and sauces to go with it, and pay based on the final weight. The only activity demanding expertise is how you mix and match the flavours. As MBA students, we could relate the otherwise intangible concepts of 'co creation' and 'assembled to order products' with the setup, for a better understanding!
It was our go to spot after meals, and we tried everything there. It's only proper, therefore, that I do not give a particular recommendation about a dish. Just go there, try out whatever flavour combinations work for you, and be virtually assured of a nice dessert. :)

Have tried a few flavours but my fav ones would be lychee and butterscotch bliss.. People who need varieties would be pleased but I personally feel its too much frozen, which makes it unappetising and less tasty...

Ice cream was great.. Tried vanilla, mango, Black current, chocobar. We bought with waffle. Good car parking space. Good place to have ice cream after a heavy food at Thalapakkati/seashell/Thambi villas. Their service was good and quick.
Went in for a single scoop and ended up tasting almost 5 flavours, each one complementing the other one. The ice cream cake was just out of the world, wish I had given some more time for the ice cream cake to soften a bit. The whole idea of weight per gram, irrespective of the topping is just wow!
I been to this place couple of times. But I write now about the recent experience.
Their concept of pricing per grams irrespective of whats added is excellent.
Today alone I tried around 5 flavours, all were good except green apple. It had too much of essense flavour and didn't feel like any real fruit is added. (Though most ice-creams doesn't have real fruits, this one tasted too artificial).

Went in for a brief ice cream moment, but surprisingly they had a lot of flavours, so ended up carefully choosing the variants. We had the Belgian chocolate, Jack fruit, mango, strawberry cheesecake. Topped the chocolate with brownie and chips but no amount of toppings made it any good. Very average. Thankfully the other three flavours saved us. Mango with mango chunks was a delight. Fruity treat. Better than mango was jack fruit. With a river of honey it was yummm. I would give full credits to Strawberry Cheesecake. Different try. Way too delicious.

Always a delight to have the desserts available here. A huge fan of Belgian chocoholic, tiramisu and coffee arabica. Although it seems pricey to be paying 75 bucks plus for 100gms of icecream, but the variety of flavours as well as the toppings make it worth every penny.

We went to this outlet of ibaco for the first time as a group of around 10 ppl....each of us tried diff flavours and I took the dark chocolate secrets with chocolate sprinkes and gems toppings! It was quite delectable! And 2 scoops tub was very heavy...i also liked the malt flavour! Nice small outlet wit lot of varieties to choose from! Ideal place for ice cream craving buh can't eat more, after a certain point I was lyk, 'Ah m done' which i don't normally feel wit ice creams!

This place has less tables and is mostly crowded during the night . They simply put the topping above the icecream they dont mix it well thats the only thing i didn't like.

Ibaco's ice creams and cakes are a delight. But the staff is a big down point.
The ice cream cakes are amazing, rich balanced flavors that compliment each other. The fruit flavored ice creams are yummy and burst of flavors as well.
Ibaco works on the 'customize your ice cream' model and have a variety of toppings to offer.
However, while one chooses the toppings to be added and layered upon the ice cream, the staff can be pretty hasty and just dump it all - making the whole cup look like a mess.
I've pointed that out a couple of times and have tried to make sure my ice cream looks as good as it tastes,. But then, most of the times the dumping damage has already been done for the first timers.
I guess the staff should be educated about serving the ice creams better.

This place seems pretty big from the outside since it has big sign boards by the road side. But once you enter you'll get to know that this is quite a tiny shop with just four tables. This makes it sometimes hard to find a seat to sit, especially during the weekends. There is ample amount of parking space for cars and bikes in the service lane and in front of the shop. The service seemed a little pathetic since there was only one guy at the counter. I went here on a weekend when it was quite crowded and the poor guy behind the counter was struggling to manage the crowd single handedly.
I ordered two scoops of Belgian chocolate with a wafer and chocolate sauce. Since I'm die hard fan of chocolate, I simply loved the combination! It was fresh and tasted so well. People who don't eat much, please stick with just one scoop since Ibaco employees are always generous when it comes to serving as the bill is totally based on weight. Paid Rs.203/- which seemed reasonable given the taste of the ice-cream. I've always loved Ibaco and I still will continue doing the same :)
P.S- If there was ample seating and atleast two guys behind the counter, I would have been glad to give a higher rating.

Best destination for Icecream in OMR. My office is just above this outlet. I often have Icecream with my friends and relatives here. Although bit costly but worth the price. My kids like Ibaco and prefer dark chocolate topping. I personally prefer mango and vanilla flavor. 5 points for clean ambience. 5 points for excellent service.
Went on a date here. The ambience is quite good. The ice cream varieties and the taste is just awesome. The only turn off is the service. It's more of a self service place. The staff do not interact with the customers and do any kind of suggestions.
Had a little expectation about this place,but however I feel the staffs were a turn off. Neither they ask something nor they reply!
However its about the ice cream! They have variety in their flavours with decent toppings. I chose their Belgian chocoholic with brownie-Choco chips and gem toppings. I was looking out for chocolate sauce and I couldn't find it in the topping section or anywhere adjacent. Was bit disappointed. Later another customer came who was served by another staff where he asked the customer whether he needed chocolate sauce and then only I realised it was kept at a height from ice creams and toppings which is hard to spot. Ice cream could have been better if there was sauce.
Sunday usually occupied. You may get seats. It depends. Not a very pleasant experience at Ibaco.

Ibaco is always favourite. ...after having heavy dinner went to Ibaco .Ordered Tropical jack fruit. ...could feel real fruit taste .Then our favourite Black current with Hazel nuts and assorted nuts , can't beat that.The combination of Peach &Strawberry with fruit bonanza and chocolate sauce yummy. Atlast finished with bean vanilla with brownie .

Ice cream has always been my favourite dessert but an icecream this good can be my favourite meal :D It just heavenly. So this is a cute little parlour set in okkiyum pet.Can seat a total of around 20 people (its not cramped). Now coming to the icecreams, The variety of flavours they have is fantastic and each one is unique. If you are a fruit person, do try peach and strawberry duet. Among the toppings- blueberry sauce and jellies are yum. This place is open till 11 in the night so do visit during an after dinner ice cream drive.
P.S: Just ensure you have a very light dinner ;)
To start with I love ice cream. While I was in Maharashtra, Naturals and Baskin Robbins were my favorite places to visit at least thrice a week. It is chennai where I first visited Ibaco. Dropping a friend home was never been such interesting before. Every time we pass by Ibaco, we grab a ice cream. That has become a trend for our gang these days!
Ibaco gives you N number of options to choose from that you would just stand wondering which one to try first. The ones I like the most are Amond crunch & Californian Pistachio. I love to visit this place again & again. Do try.
I was absolutely new to this idea of ice creams before I landed up in Chennai. THe closest thing to this was frozen yoghurts that I had in the US. Trust me it matches up the same quality. I could replace a serving of an ibaco ice-cream to my dinner any day. Its heavy, customised, authentic and has almost everything you need. Have tried a few flavours there and their rum n raisins stands out clearly. To beat the heat of Chennai, ibaco is indeed the best dessert that you can get in town. Thank you Anubhav Srivastava for this amazing addition to my life. :)

Ibaco serves some brilliant ice-cream flavors, which leave you hard-pressed to make a choice. My favorites include Arabica Coffee, Fig & Honey, and Maha Rajbhog. The coffee flavor goes superbly with nuts and a little chocolate sauce. The others are to be enjoyed as-is. Wonderful place overall!!
Had the Rum and raisin scoop. It was out of the world.. Added a chocolate brownie, chocolate sauce and fudge on top of that. Even a person who doesn't have a sweet tooth will love it.
The pricing is based on the weight of the scoop. So one scoop will cost approx. INR 150. Worth the money though.
Nice ice cream with lots of thing to try! special one is rajbhog with added jellies. But ya slightly over rated because baskin robins is an equal competition near by. I visit it everyone I get my salary to pamper myself :)
One of the few places where I become a kid once again.. Selection of flavor is really tough.. All are so good! My favorites include butter pecan ballet, fresh strawberry, Belgian chocolate and so on and so forth! I was happy wid all the flavors that I've tried.. And top it with an assortment of sauces and toppings including chocolate fudge, rainbow buttons, brownie, blueberry sauce etc etc.. Only issue these days is that they do not have chocolate fudge sauce if you go in the evening.. Else its always a delightful experience!!

This was my 1st visit. I know I am late but please don't judge. On second thought you can judge all you want cuz I am busy eating my ice cream.
They have loads of flavors and it tastes so real. You pay per weight and you chose your own toppings. What else can I ask for?
May be an ice cream bar customized to my liking? They have it.
May be some ice cream cake? They have it all.
I tried few flavors off the rack to get to know what I was about to have. After lot of blank stares, circling around in the store and tasting few more flavors I realized I cannot have them all. So I went with Jack Fruit, Bubble Gum and Choco Mint. I did not add last y of toppings as I thought it will ruin the original taste of these exotic ice creams. Actually I should not have taken any toppings.
Jack fruit took me back to the time when my dad made me taste one for the 1st time and I instantly smiled. Bubble gum did the same, it reminded me of how me and my brother used to share our gum and fight over who got the bigger piece. I was beyond happy and that's what counts. I thank you for making me relive an amazing moment from my past. That's what food is all about.
Will I visit again? Absolutely. I am planning to take my dad and my wife there to try the jack fruit once he is in Chennai.

I stopped here with a friend a couple of weeks ago when he wanted to satisfy his sweet tooth. I am not afflicted with a sweet tooth, but am always willing to sample something sweet if someone else is interested in.
This was my first IBACO experience, and was pleasantly surprised by the available selection, I ended up ordering 2 scoops in a cup consisting of mango mayhem and fruit bonanza. I found it to be excellently prepared, and was quite impressed with the variety of new and interesting flavours. General housekeeping and cleanliness of the outlet however left a lot to be desired.

Good flavours of ice cream and all the flavours i have had choco mint, choco chips and i don't remember much.were good. I ask for brownie with icream and once he added a brownie which was as hard as rock in the ice cream, i said BOSS! And put that brownie in his hand and got it replaced ;))

A very fantastic ice cream shop with many flavours to try. From jackfruit to tender coconut, blackcurrant to vanilla ranges. Great range of toppings for ice cream. Nice sitting arrangements and neat and clean. Pre book your ice cream cake for occasion. Worth trying.

Good place for dessert and birthday celebrations. Had multiple birthday blasts with friends and colleagues here. Their ice cream cakes are wonderful and yummy.
You have to thaw ice cream cake for at least 15 mins before cutting into it. So it is better to inform them beforehand if you are planning to celebrate there.

Coffee flavour lovers attention!!! The coffee here is too dark and bitter. Have a mini bite taste before ordering. The service person would also inform you beforehand.

One of the good ice cream parlours in Chennai. This place has same ambience as other Ibaco ice cream parlours. Neatly maintained. I was visiting Ibaco whenever i got bored. And yes it always filled my cravings. Dont know why Ibaco keep on increasing thwir prices. As of today 950rupees per KG.
P.S as per now Dec2021 Ice Cream parlour’s ice cream GST is 18%.

Ice cream was great.. Tried vanilla, mango, Black current, chocobar. Vanilla was great along with choco chips. Chocobar was good as well. We bought with waffle. Good car parking space. Good place to have ice cream after a heavy food at Thalapakkati/seashell/Thambi villas. Their service was good and quick.
This is my second visit and I did like the choices and ambience. Nice cool atmosphere. Taste was good. Price looks reasonable though expensive than a normal cup or cone ice cream. You can decide your quantity, rather scoop ! Choice of toppings are also good.
New offering includes cakes and boxes of chocolates.
There are some unusual flavours available I tried tender coconut. Loved it. They sell but weight. You can choose your topping too. I didn't wanted to taste my ice cream so didn't choose any topping.

This is one of our Favorite places. Usually we go here for ice creams because we can make up our own style ice cream with the custom toppings., although the prices are on the higher side but definitely worth trying once and many more...
Here is what you need to do: You can choose the variety of toppings , if you are not able to pick one, please ask team to suggest they will help you what will go with the flavour you choose. Also, You can customize with toppings. (Assorted nuts, almonds, Jelly cubes and barity of syrups).
Please note the price is based on the overall weight ( Ice cream and toppings) - So you have full control over the ratio of Ice cream VS toppings.
Also, You can get ice cream cakes of one kg though it is around 1000-1500/- ruppes for the birthday or wedding anniversaries. The only drawback is that we cannot write on the cake but taste is awesome and the packing can hold upto 1 hour which makes it withstand with the keeping it in the refrigerator or the freezer.

We ordered ice cream cake. It is always available and you can just walk in and take away whichever is available. We went in the evening and 4 different varieties of ice cream cakes were available. We bought chocolate flavor (not sure about the exact name) half kg for 600.
It was really good. Worth the money.
Note: You need metal knife to cut the ice cream cake if you are planning to cut it later. If you eat at the shop, they will cut and give.

I would recommend this ice cream shop for their good quality and reasonable prices. Having tried a vast majority of their flavors, I can confidently say that they offer the best ice cream in town.
