Chennai is a more livable place because of the Old Madras Banking Company! Breads, croissants, focacce, bagels... total carb overload! Have only been there once and have only tried the cinnamon rolls (Cinna Bomb), custard danish, and jalapeño bagel. Was quite impressed with the balanced flavours and defined textures. Pastries were not too sweet or buttery; savouries were not too salty or greasy. You could tell instantly from thier appearance and aroma, and on the first bite that they were made with high quality ingredients and crafted by highly skilled bakers!! The only disappointment was the absence of an espresso machine or French press. They nevertheless receive 5 stars due to demand Vs supply of quality French/European baked goods in Chennai.
One of the best bakeries in Chennai. As a huge baking nerd I know how difficult it is to find sourdough bread and actual butter croissant in Chennai. And the bread here is delicious. Would recommend anybody who wants good and nutritious bread to go here.
