Food was amazing. Thought it's not a fine dining but the quality of food they provide is amazing. We had devil prawn, prawn in white sauce, chicken curry and rice. Each and every dish we ordered was great. Also quantity of food is good. A must try restaurant in Mahabalipuram. I will remember the taste of white sauce prawn for life.

Pretty close to Mahabalipuram temple, it's a small restaurant with a very humble appearance and just once person in charge. Don't let that fool you though, cus the food here is definitely amazing, especially the prawns in white sauce is. Must have. Sea-food is absolutely fresh and the quantity is also good with comparison to price. Do try this restaurant if you wanna have seafood near mahabalipuram temple...

The food is too good. All the dishes that we tried were very fresh. The quantity was good. The YG prawns and prawn in white sauce were delicious. The location is a little difficult as it is in a small and quiet area. The ambience is good -- terrace. Loved the service too.

This restaurant opened in 1983. The food, service and ambience is 5 star. It is on rooftop of Sunrise Guest House. We tried fish, chicken and prawns, all were so finger licking. Staff is so polite. I found slight difficulty in finding the place at night that too walking for about 15 min from bus stand. You may find the path dark on some points to walk but its completely safe.

Property is located in a narrow street in a guest house/lodge but covered rooftop seating with basic amenities provides excellent breeze & ambience. Hard working & efficient young boy does his best to provide good service. Food esp. fish dishes are amazing in taste & light on stomach. Tawa fish & fish curry with simple rice tasted great with perfect blend of local spices & fresh fish.

We have been there for lunch over weekend and tried their signature dishes like white sauce prawn and Y.G chicken. Food was very tasty and over liked it. I would suggest not to use artificial colors in their preparation...

A hidden gem... Good authentic local cuisine... Pizza however is indianized version.... it's not bad... just that it's different good. Fish fry, Shrimp, lovely.... better than Moonrakers on the taste front. Silent, calm, secluded placed... here with my family, safe.

This was my first time visiting this restuarant and I really loved the food. The restuarant was less crowded, our friend suggested this restuarant to definitely visit when going to Mamallapuram. // These are all my opinion and does not represent other's opinion, you are free to have your opinions. (Prices as of 29th Jan 2022) I recommend trying YG Chicken (₹330) and Chicken Pasta (₹340) - this pasta is the best which I've tried so far. They're tasty and definitely a must try. Also tried Honey Chicken (₹320) - not the sweetness I imagined, it's not as good as YG Chicken - which was a bit sour taste and blended well with the chicken. Tava Prawns (₹320) was a huge treat, the masala and spices exceeded our expectations! (Couldn't get a pic, we immediately ate it when it arrived) Seafood Noodles (with Schezwan add-on) (₹200 + ₹30) - consisting of prawn and calamari (squid) also tasted good. We also ordered Chicken Fried Rice (₹150) which is also good. We were suggested to try Panacotta (₹180) (a chilled desert with cream and gelatin). We were given 3 flavours to choose, Strawberry/Chocolate/Caramel - we all chose Caramel Panacotta since it's the best flavour for this desert (also suggested by friends). All I can say that it tastes good but for the price it's not good enough to me but you can too try it atleast once! Good ambience and the wind was pleasant and chill.

Great ambience. Best in months between November to January. Great food! Their specialty is their white sauce (with chicken or fried potatos) and curd rice /butter rice with Tava chicken/prawns! Their panacotta is yummy too! Do try these atleast when you visit this place!
