Strong filter coffee and that Tambram speciality Mor Kali (Buttermilk porridge) make for a wonderful evening in Mylapore. Mor Kali is common enough in households, but rare on hotel menus. Good food and great conversation with the host Hamsa make this small cafe a must-stop in Chennai.
