A fun place to hang out ! Nothing like bonding over board games and they have a variety! Superb hosts who help u select the game and teach it too! More the merrier!
We reached there on Friday evening. This place was following all the SOP's. Shravan took care of us with the menu. We ordered pasta Alfredo, Corn and jalapeño bruschetta. Both the dishes were too good. And coming to rice bowl, it was good as well but rajma chawal was delayed very much. Their garden vegetables pizza is fine as the base was very thin and but the toppings did the work. Their orange tea is too good. As well as games. They have plenty of games and these guys will help you out with those games. Overall a good place to chill.
Their panini is absolutely heaven😻and their games are so interesting and fun. There's always someone go guide you about how to play

I like the way they have designed their menu after taking lot of factors into consideration.

Hot chocolate is always something special for everyone, here they provided something different like Spicy Hot Chocolate. Yes, it was so tasty with the spicy flavor and you will not regret of buying this one in their place. Quantity was too much, but it is worthy to have once in a while.

Everything is excellent and I can't stop raving about the place. Excellent ambience. Excellent hosta. Excellent food. Love their options on beverages especially! The hot chocolate and the iced teas are a must haves :) Cheers!
Good place to hang out with friends where u could able to play and eat. There are four hundred plus board games where we could get explored to and have a great time with friends.Relaxed place where u don't know how time flies.

Varun and Gowtham explained the games very very patiently and we were taken aback with the number of board games these guys have. The food is great and quite reasonable. They brew their own read and it shouldn't be missed. The avacado hummus sandwich was mind blowing! We spent hours together creating a ruckus and loved every bit of it :)
The Board Room is a great place to get together with your pals and feel the hours fly by. The food is great, ambiance is simply amazing and have no fear about going alone, there's always a table to draw up a chair and have some fun times. Highly recommend!

The ambience of the place is quite relaxed and welcoming.
As soon as u enter, u will be directed to the huge Games collection where you can choose from hundreds of games. The games are not the usual ones you see in the Indian market which was quite interesting. In our case, the proprietor was kind enough to explain each game and gave us suggestions depending on the number of people and interests.
We ordered the Orange tea which was tasty and had a good portion size. We ordered an Alfredo pasta too. The portion was huge but slightly dry for our liking. When we gave our feedback,the proprietor obliged and called it off the bill. The staff is warm especially the proprietor, Varun who was always around to assist us with the games and food.
Definitely worth a visit! Especially if u have a big group.
P.S: Keep Atleast two hours of your time in hand to enjoy the board game experience and order the Orange tea!

Chennai 's cafe scenes are very well increasing with a cafe being opened every week exploring with some new food, ambience and others. Now with Board Room, they have gone one step ahead by introducing a cafe especially for the Board Games.. This one is completely dedicated to BOARD GAMES and for the exact numbers, they have 425 games for now. You read it, right ! The owners with a great passion for board games will take care of everything from what game you would like to play, to explaining each and every rules clearly making you comfortable right from the word go. They have also planned it perfectly on the moneyfront charging 150 ₹ for the first hour and after that even if you spend the whole day, it's just 250 ₹ in Weekday & 350 ₹ in a Weekend. That on a whole easily justify the money spent by the owners because every single game that we researched online costed around 2000, 4000, 6000 ₹ & so on. Food plays a small part here, so don't expect much but yeah you get starters, pastas, more Teas, less coffees all with a Pure Vegetarian tag. Few of the games that we played here are Monastry, Patch Work, Splendor.
Overall, this place is a treat for all the Board Game lovers, for others it's definitely an engaging experience making you to revisit the place once again. ! Would definitely go there to play more and more in the days, months, years coming by, best wishes for the start :)

Was really surprised to find such a place in Chennai since the entire concept of board gaming is not too popular yet in Chennai unlike that in other cities. What proved to be even better was that the place seemed to be just a 10 min walk from my place. So me and my friend decided to give the place a try. It was absolutely brilliant !! The experience as a whole was just amazing apart from the excellent quality of food on their menu.
The ambience inside is casual laid back, open tables and chairs. The area is well spaced out and comfortable to accommodate big groups to have casual meetings or just grab a game from their collection and play it as long as they want to. The collection of games is as well one of the best I have seen in any cafe around the country. The staff is also really cooperative to accommodate your request for a particular game if it isn’t available and try adding it to their collection in he coming months. The menu also has quick eats along with pastas and sandwiches that is very restaurant like unlike other cafes that provide food for the sake of it. I would consider this place a restaurant with a brilliant collection of games to pick and play, definitely not the other way round.
And students , do go there! They have amazing prices for playing all day that is very pocket friendly unlike most other cafes in the city.
The service was good very helpful and they teach you games that you don't know and suggest good ones too. On the whole it's a fun place to hang with friends and play games and connect with eachother and drift away from the techs.

Great place to spend time. The food is the icing on the cake, gourmet food with unique ingredients and combinations. They have the best selection of teas and coffees, could be a really good stand alone coffee shop. But they have board games that take it to the next level.

One of the best hangout places in Chennai. I go here whenever I feel stressed by work to relax and de-stress. They have games in all genres, be it a simple 2 minute game like Pit or a long strategy game like Game of Thrones. The food here is exceptionally good and you can die for the quality of tea you get here. And last but not the least, the chairs in this place were specially designed for the purpose of sitting for hours together and not feel tired. The chairs do serve their purpose and even more.

This Two Floor Gaming place is one of the best hangout spot to play hundreds of different board games with your friends all day long. Not just monopoly or business, there are a wide range of games (I played Ticket to Ride-Europe and Splendor)for having fun for all age groups,all moods and all types of people. If you don't know the rules, don't worry. The people who run this place will guide you through all the different games, teach you the rules, set up the game for you and patiently clarify any doubts you have. 😂

TARIFF for Gaming - Weekdays Rs 250 for 1 person (2 hours and above ). Also you will get Rs 50 discount if you order food for Rs 200 or above. The bigger the group, the more options of board games.
If you are not into the board games, you can just have a peaceful meal downstairs coz all the gaming Fun happens only in the first floor of this Cafe.
FOOD- Only Vegetarian. This is one of the few places where you get real delicious ice tea instead of the ready mix version. I ordered Thai Ice Tea (Rs 150)and Cold Coffee (Rs 150). The variety of food in this place is limited to just Pastas, Sandwiches,Rice Bowl and Bruschetta with limited options in each category. Though the limited option might be slightly annoying for all the Foodies out there, the Taste was amazing. The Misto Pasta for Rs 220 was scrumptious.

Great place for games, friends and food- over 250 board games, can sit all day long playing games with friends and enjoying good food. Ideal for team building, corporate outing, family bonding and so on. Spent a few hours last week playing 3 different games with friends.
My personal favorites are Orange Ice Tea and Olive n Hummus Toast. Very yummy and a great place to play Board Games with friends and family.
Really nice place with a pleasing ambience. Food is good accompaniment for the games, which are of course the highlight. Plenty of quality board games for all ages and tastes, for an enjoyable time with friends or family. Commendable service, and the people are helpful with the games and rules. Cost is affordable as well. Only dampener might be the chance of a noisy group, but overall an entertaining experience worth visiting for.
One of the most amazing experiences I've had. During weekends it's 180/hr per person for board games alone. The food can be ordered at a separate cost. The food is all vegetarian, but tastes really good. I would highly recommend the brownie with ice cream. One of the softest brownies I've ever had. Coming back to the games, there's just a ton of them. It would take a lot of time deciding what to place, with so many options to choose from. Not just your regular monopoly, ludo, regular cards, uno, etc. The games they have here are just unheard of, so you'll need some time to understand the game rules(they have a staff member helping out explaining the rules of each game to newcomers). Overall, it cost us 500-600 for an hour of playing and snacking. But it was worth it. The rates are cheaper during weekdays, and they also have an all day package for just about 400rs. during weekdays. The food prices do seem a bit higher, but 5/5 otherwise.❤️
5 of us visited this place. Initially planned to spend maximum of 2 hrs but we ended up changing our plans and stayed there for whole day pack. Which is approx 300 per head inclusive of tax. Many games were intresting, few were not. The staff who attended us explained all the games well and enhanced our experience there.
I see there are two types of board games. One --> like snake and ladders involves odds and fun elements. Two --> like business games where strategy building is key. The staffs can sandwich these types together during a game swap or get a first opinion from the group on their preferences. It might help both to keep enjoying the games.

I enjoyed my time there completely. Prices have changed. For a full day it's 290(including GST). And 120/person/hr and multiple of it. If you stay more than 3 hrs it is considered as full day and charge the given amount. It's better to have much fun with friends. Food is definitely costly, low in content and taste is ok-ish. Services were great and very helpful in every way possible, 💯 marks for that.
We had spent around 4 hrs there... it was awesome and worth a try. There are lots of indoor games. Very much interesting. Food is also good only. But only vegetarian

Great place to venture out with family and friends especially with grown up kids for variety of board and card games to explore. The game coordinator was quite friendly in selecting the game for us and explaining the game. Must visit if you would like to play as a group. There is a good collection of books as well to read there. Didn’t try the food there. Vallet parking is available.

This is a cafe with more than 500 board games available to play as a group. The Game Guru's will suggest the suitable games from their library as per our requirement and will also explain and guide us through the game. This is a very good place for friends or colleagues to spend their leisure time together and have a great time. The added advantage is the food that came along as a companion for the games. Overall a nice experience and good place to visit and spend some game time
I am glad that I finally got to visit here for a get together with close friends. Was looking for a nice place to hang, have a cosy environment to have pleasant soul conversations over nice food. I gladly recommend the board room for that, though the games are a positive touch.
Getting here is easy. It is located in a small lane though, and valet parking is basically them parking your car far off on the same street. Service is nearly self serve, just scan the QR code on the table and order what you like. It will be served promptly. The place is super crowded on weekends and i suppose waiting time is possible. Folks just love the great ambience and games to go with it.
We loved the Peri peri fries and hot chocolate! They were affordable and worth it. Paid about 600 for the 3 of us. Had a lovely time overall.
Per person 120 including GST for one hour. If 2 hrs - 240. If you pay 300 you can play for the whole day. We opted for 300 per person and played for the whole day and explored many games. Food is a little costly. Except that this is one of the best board games with good ambience. If you are planning for the weekend with a minimum of 4 or above persons, this is one of the best options.

Interesting place to go and hang out with friends. The games makes it a better place to be in more than the food.
They have 3 floors where we can play games. The ambiance is good and the people that are kind, friendly and very helpful.
We played 3 games in 2 hours. The first games was called red7 which was very interesting and can be played with 5 people. The second game was called the mind, which was a cooperative game but was not really interesting. The last game was called the shifting stones, it was a puzzle game but we couldn’t enjoy the game as the time got over. Overall it was a good experience and we didn’t feel the time moving slow.
The food we ordered were loaded French fries, peri peri paneer pizza, and mac & cheese pasta. Overall the food was good and my favourite was loaded French fries. As I said earlier this places is more for the games than the food as you can get better food in other places for the same price.
The cost can be cheaper and the timing can be increased as they closed the kitchen by 9 30 and we had to wind up the game at 9 50.
I personally feel that the cost will be reason for anyone to go the place for just one time experience.

Best place for family bonding over board games and good food. The highlight of the place is the fun and friendly 'game masters' who patiently explain the board games to customers. They have a collection of 700 games. Spicy hot chocolate and pasta was good. The washroom could have been maintained better. Valet parking is a boon considering the fact that the location is inside a narrow lane.
We had a splendid evening with loads of fun playing many different games. This place offers a wide range of games with proper guidance on how to play each game and the guides were so friendly and enthusiastic. The food were also great in taste. An excellent place to kill time with your friends
