I came from Bangalore to file a request to cancel a fraudulent sale deed on my property in Chennai. I must say I am impressed with the help I got.The kind gentleman at the reception guided me well. The lady in charge at the postal dept went out of her way to help me track my registered post..The team at the emailing section also gave me the acknowledgement quickly and guided me on where to go next and how to approach the matter. I followed their plan and went to the DIG office at nandanam,as my property fell in the Thiruvallur dist jurisdiction. The team there were so helpful and especially the IT staff was a pregnant lady who helped me track the acknowledgement from the IG office.Helpee me meet those who could give me clarity on how my application would be processed. Overall a very positive experience.Completed my work in half a day.

It is the headquarters of Registration department of Tamil Nadu Government. Now lot of new initiatives are happening. Digital services are improved a lot. More digital services are required to avoid middleman as common public are afraid to go to Registrar Office. Now it is headed by one of the upright officer who is very knowledgeable especially in law and banking Mr. Sivan Arul IAS. Best wishes & Regards

My document delay to 21 days for sub Register office in Cuddalore 2nd .I will camplaint to inspector general of registration office with in 3 days my document is delivered to register post. I am very happy and healthy thanks

Respected Sir / Madam, one of my friend Selvi. M. Alamelu, (Unmarried) she wanted to adopt her elder sister son for her all her rites & customs and other purposes and she made a Adoption Deed. She went with the Adoption Deed to register in SRO Purasawalkam, Chennai - 7 Office on 27-7-2016, The Respected Registrar Madam, advised her regarding adoption only at the age between 12 to 15 only, the said Adoption male age is 28 years (unmarried) and from born of his life he is survived by Selvi. M. Alamelu. please give me a advice how adopt in this stage and what is the procedure, please explains without hesitate, kindly how to do pl. for your kind reference one adoption book below followed by me is it right? 7. Capacity of male Hindu to take in adoption.- Any male Hindu who is of sound mind and is not a minor has the capacity to take a son or a daughter in adoption: Provided that, if he has a wife living, he shall not adopt except with the consent of his wife unless the wife has completely and finally renounced the world or has ceased to be a Hindu or has been declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to be of unsound mind. Explanation.- If a person has more than one wife living at the time of adoption, the consent of all the wives in necessary unless the consent of any one of them is unnecessary for any of the reasons specified in the preceding priviso.

Compared to other govt offices they are pretty good. Staffs are supportive, soft and assistive
