Nice, Neat Environment. Food Was Served Hot And Taste. Little Delay For Serving Though. Food Quality Was Good And Worth Every Penny. Highly Recommended 👍🏻
The Ambiance was really good. Rooftop was well managed with comfortable seatings. Food was great. Considering the cost and rooftop ambiance, it is a very good choice for family or friends gathering.
First of all, the ambience is so good that it creates a relaxed atmosphere for sure. But one thing that could be improved is, service. It is, a bit slow. And then coming to the food, the pizza is top-notch, both veg and non veg starters are completely satisfying, carrot halwa with icecream is simply delicious, and waffle and butter scotch icecream is a must try. Asked for a spicy Ghosht dum biriyani, but was little disappointed, cause the raw smell of spices spoiled the taste of biriyani. Except these things, everything was nice. I would recommend this place since it is suitable for both friends and families.
One of the best places in that area for a roof top, since it’s away into a locality . The place is calm and well trained staff. All these add up to good and tasty food. The food is yummy and quantity is sizeable for the price. Must visit place if you want good views from the terrace . Keep in mind it’s not a open top.
Awesome food. Everything was prepared fresh. Not spicy. Nice place to hangout with kids.
The view is the main selling point of this place.
The staff are very friendly and polite.
Food was decent.
A nice place to friend some quality time with friends and close ones. The food was good. Loved the Alfredo pasta! Made our Friday evening a pleasant one :)
Best Pizza! The ambience Is the best thing about this restaurant. Windy and natural. Standard menu unlike fancy restaurants. All dishes were awesome except desserts which could be better.BBQ Pizza and Caesar's salad were really good.
Amazing food and ambience
Ah this restaurant trip was just so worth..we guys were on our way to Chennai Airport and it was very late in the night around 10:30pm(considering restaurants close by 11 here).
We randomly checked for restaurants nearby Airport and found this one, good and main thing open till 12am. Though the kitchen closes at 11:15pm, these guys were very considerate to take our order on phone. So here you go the big list :
Paneer butter masala - Sweet authentic and just perfect
Butter naan
Masala papad
Butter tandoori roti
Hyd murgh biriyani - Great blend of the hyberabadi biriyani taste with chicken combo. Just so fresh.
Chicken Chettinad Gravy - The authentic kerala dish was just perfect in terms of taste, the way chicken was cooked.
Chicken kebab
Paneer tikka
Soft - Drink
The list was huge, each item in this one was very delicious too(Not going into deep description for each of them, you guys should try this place and food here).
Thanks to the hospitality and for waiting long hours, to really make meaning to what we say "Serve Food". And they did that just 👌.

Love this place mostly for its chilled-out ambience on the rooftop. The view is perfect for a lazy afternoon or evening, and overlooks the polo ground, Alandur metro station, and landing airplanes. A rare and peaceful setting in the heart of Chennai.
The place is pretty good. You will definitely like the ambience. It's a roof top. And dude you can visit for North Indian flavour. The food tastes good and staff are polite
So in the pic there is murgh biryani, malai kofta, paneer tikka pizza and garlic naan
Malai kofta: talking about consistency it’s proper and taste is little bit sweet but not spicy and they had given only three pieces of kofta and according to the price, this dish is proper but they can improve more also
Murgh biryani: it’s really good and it’s taste like Lucknowi biryani. From they garnished with caramelised onions and egg. It’s properly biryani they served us
Paneer pizza: oh wow the Pizza is so damn good, I am speechless but I will try again your pizza
Garlic naan is good and it’s preferable
AMBIENCE: Their ambience is really good. It is alfresco restaurant means rooftop restaurant. At evening this place really give you good times with your family and friends
We were 7 people celebrated our friends birthday here. Such a wonderful view and peaceful place. First thing, I truly appreciate aravind staff who took care of us before booking tables and after arriving. We ordered surprise cake and asked aravind to take care of it. He organized the seating really well and our LUCK, we went on Monday so no crowd at all. We were the only people on that restaurant for almost 4 hours. They didn't show face on us for taking long time. And the surprise they did it well. They played hbd music and songs on the screen💟 totally loved.
Food 5/5 tasted really well and we felt hungry after we finished so many items. Haha!!
Ambience more than 5 I will give. Such a lovely calm place, may be in day time it will be hot.
Service : Hatsoff Aravind💟 5/5
Price : the most important thing. We had almost 8-9 dishes and bill costs below 3500/- only.
I will definitely go to this place again and again💃💃
Wonderful Ambience to spend your evenings !!!
Rooftop restaurant at affordable rates. Ordered Margarita Pizza & MuttonSheek kebab which was delicious..
I had seen this hotel while commuting many a times but had never tried once. Finally went along with my team of friends for a farewell dinner. I was surprised with the ambience. It was a great experience with the view of metro station in front and nice to see trains swinging front and back every few minutes. The place was not over crowded and ambience was one of the best to have a casual dine.
Coming to the food, we tried
Mushroom cream soup
Mushroom Manchurian
Panneer tikka
Alfredo pasta - best of the lot
Gulab jamoon
Carrot halwa
All foods were great for the price they offered except desserts. Gulab jamoon could've been better.
A nice place for dining out.they have roof rop are for fresh dining. sports screening is another speciality for this place .i ordered chicken biryani, butter nan, paneer ,chicken pizza combo .the overall taste was good .and this roof top is completely covered with trees.

This place is calm and has very pleasant view. We order chicken, mutton, fish and soup. Taste is really good. Service is quite good and can more fans(basically its Chennai, you need more coolers for out door places)
Ambience - 5/5
Food - 4.5/5

We visited on a rainy day so the ambience was sooooo good.
Alfredo pasta was really good 😋 but quantity was little.
Paneer butter masala should be improved.
Other items were decent enough.
This place has lush green plants outside which are perfect for you to sit with a book. Antique wooden chairs, ivy trails, and glimmering lights, this restaurant has a great view as it claims in the name and you can escape the chaos and traffic of Chennai and tuck into this place.
They have wide range of dishes for North Indian foodies the pizzas and desserts are also amazing!!!
This place offers you delicious food along with picturesque views.
Located near jothi theatre..this is a rooftop restaurant with great views and live screening. Wonderful seating and interior with open kitchen. Visited this place couple of times for dinner, their evening special menus is good to try. We had cream of mushroom soup, karuveppilai prawns, crispy corns, Alfredo pasta, naan and panneer butter masala. Taste wise everything was perfect but the quantity of karuveppilai prawns is little disappointing for the price they quote. A great place to relax with your family and group of friends.
North view kitchen Alandur
We had to drop some overseas guests off at the airport for a late night flight and wanted to have dinner enroute to the airport. A quick search on Zomato yielded an apt suggestion the form of a well rated restaurant named North view kitchen.
The restaurant is located just adjacent to jothi theatre and opposite the alandur metro station. Pleasantly surprised by a cool breeze followed by rain the rooftop ambience was perfect for a late evening dinner.
Given that we had 3 American guests with us the vast and diverse menu was helpful as the guests preferred pasta and pizza while we opted for tandoori starters and chettinad dishes for the main course. There is ample choice for both vegetarians and non vegetarians. Except the mushroom pulao which was bland to taste, all the dishes stood out in terms of taste. The assorted non veg starters platter had 12 pcs of tandoori starters covering fish, prawn, chicken and mutton which made the carnivores a happy lot. All the starters tasted different from each other with different marinades being used. The vegetarians had hara bara kabab which though too soft was very subtly spiced and flavorful. The paneer pepper salt was spicy and a big hit even with non vegetarians. Quantities of vegetarian starters can be improved. Being very late ordered only 2 soups across 4 of us. The non vegetarians had nalli elumbu saru (mutton bone soup) while vegetarians opted for veg manchow soup. Both soups were hot, spicy and flavorful and worked up a good appetite. Main course opted for was keema kari dosai which was unfortunately unavailable so we settled for Malabar parotta and phulkas with two non veg gravies in the firm of eral thokku and mutton varutha curry and 1 veg side dish of bhindi do pyaza. The parotta was soft, flaky and big and unlike the thin rubbery ones I have had at other places. At 2 pieces per portion they were more than sufficient. The phulkas were served piping hot, soft and feather light. As someone who prefers phulkas over tandoori rotis it was a real delight for me. The bhindi is an innocuous vegetable but which often gets cooked wrong hence the bhindi do pyaaza was a good surprise. The tanginess from tomatoes and amchur powder offset its spice level. The non veg side dishes were also well praised and there was no excessive use of oil in both dishes. The mushroom pulao was nothing to write home about but was edible when accompanied with the bhindi. The American guests were fine with the pasta and pizza, making this dinner one that left everybody happy and satiated.
Planning to try this place once again during daytime as we missed the view of the cantonment golf course but the frequent views of the glowing metro trains was good too. Service was quick though waiters were often distracted by the cricket match highlights that was being projected. Since we had a flight to catch did not have time to try their mocktails whose names had a nice ring to it. Dessert section had the usual suspects of gajar ka halwa, gulab jamuns, ice creams, brownie and waffles which we had to leave for yet another day due to lack of tummy space as well as time. This place is a good option for travellers on the way to the airport or alandur metro as well as those who prefer to catch up on the world cup matches that are being projected on a white wall. The seating space is open on the sides which is useful during rainy days and on clear days the open to the sky seating options would be good for diners. Found pricing to be nominal and there was no addition of service charges.
Ambience is awesome:) it's really a good breezy outdoor seating place to have dinner.Food was good too.we order phulkas and paneer Tikka masala both were really good:) loved the place.

Awesome to chill out with friends/family and recommended during evenings/nights.Breezy place with a great view and food was also good.. Definitely worth a visit!!!
It's really good and food is also yummy service is very good ambience is excellent and everything was perfect there is a nice entertiment over here
*Rating for 3.5 rounding it off to 4 due to zomato constraints*
Located at St.Thomas mount is this newly opened roof top restaurant. Well if you are struggling to locate the place Google map comes to your rescue. The restaurant is located in a calm area. The place looks simple and neat and makes one feel relaxed. Being a rooftop restaurant you get to breathe some fresh air. It was pleasent to have my meal with a view of the golf court. Parking for both two and four wheelers is sorted as they have ample space.
Moving on to food. Their menu is vast , they have almost all cuisines on their menu making it difficult for one to choose from their favourite. I was here with my foodie friends and tried some of their dishes. We started with some drinks but sadly everything tasted too sweet. From the starters I personally loved the chilli paneer, paneer Tikka and grilled chicken. The tawa fried prawn had good flavours but the prawn texture was disappointing. I personally did not like the idea of malai anda ka murgh( chicken coated in egg white) did not find any flavour in it. For main course the mutton vartha Kari with Indian breads tasted amazing.
For desserts we had the carrot Halwa and the Gulab jamun which tasted good and homely.
Overall the place serves decent food at a reasonable price. The place looked nice and breezy something most of us would look for. I am sure the place looks more beautiful in the night. They also arrange party and also have a separate dining area if you are looking for date nights. Also I felt the service needs some attention.
It's better up top , reads a wall inside and one have to agree as they enter inside. Cafe style interiors do not restrict the eating experience. You get served right from pizza to Roti and panneer and the fare being standard.
Must try are the Gobi Manchurian and kabab, truely delicious 😍

Located near the metro station, 'North View Kitchen' is a newly opened rooftop family restaurant. If you are someone who prefers some peace and calm, this is something worth checking out. Parking won't be an issue for both two wheelers and four wheelers. The service part was handled well and the staff were pretty responsive.
The menu focuses on Indian and Chinese cuisine. Most of the drinks served were too sweet and that's something which they need to look into. I personally liked the Indian based starters. 'Tandoori Chicken' was yummy, my favourite here. The mayonnaise had a really good consistent texture making it all more delicious. 'Jalpari Jhinga' would be a good choice if you are going forward with seafood.
The main course again had a lot to offer. They serve rotis and accompanying gravies, Noodles and also biryanis. The quantities are very much justifiable for the price range. They also got some Italian food like pizzas and pastas making it an all round combination. 'Carrot Halwa' fulfilled my sweet tooth cravings!
Recommended! 🔥
This open rooftop restaurant is my recent favourite. Loved their ambience and outdoor seating. They have a open kitchen and got a chance to make myself my chicken soup. The food was good and their hospitality was great, they just need to speed up their service a little bit. Loved their pizza, Indianbreads and curries, assorted non veg platter. Awesome place to spend ur evenings with some good food and view.
A place with an extraordinary ambience. True to its name, the view you get from here as you dine is BRILLIANT.
Best to visit at nights for spending a relaxed laid-back dinner with kith and kin.
The Panneer tikka and hara bhara kebab were amazing. The mutton sheek kebab was okay-ish. The tandoori non veg platter was totally worth it. A complete surreal package it was with chicken, fish, prawns all in sufficient quantities.
The Aglio Olio pasta needs improvement. The taste went totally missing as the flavours didn't blend well and the paste was way undercooked.
The mutton sukka was worth it. It was spicy and yum. The hyderabadi murgh briyani and gosht dum briyani were very okayish. Briyanis need to be totally resurrected here.
The kheema dosai was very yummy. The fillings were tasty and the gravy that came along with it was every bit worth it.
One of the best rooftop place i ever Tried....the ambience was very good👍😍....coming to food....i liked most of them ..all the non veg starters were good😍..
Drinks were very sweet🤨 the services was good and this is the best place to hangout with friends...👍😍
And if your on a date this will also be a romantic place to spend ur time😋🖐️

Came over here for one fine evening to have dinner with my other blogger friends!, located near Alandur Metro station. The place is basically a house changed into a restaurant. The place does not have any ACs but the place is open and has amazing natural air flow. That to in winter season, the place is a must visit! Did not really try a lot of food but what every I tired was pretty good except the biriyani! The biriyani was not up to the mark, tasted a bit like tomato rice. The biriyani disappointed me thought. Tried the watermelon cooler which was very refreshing for the Chennai heat! Only after having that, I got some energy to eat! Do check this place out! A perfect place to have a date in the evening! Don't miss this chance!
Most liked: Their ambiene with an amazing view of metro station and a nice breeze and open kitchen with roof top dining.
.
My favorites : Mutton sheek, hara bhara kebab, paneer tikka, 🍕 pizza, parotta and their sides😋
.
Hara bhara kebab was soft with an ghee aroma,
Jerk chicken sandwich was loaded with tender chicken breast and served with fries
Pizzas are thin crusted and well spiced
Their sides and gravies are worth trying it, especially for spiced people. Jhinha prawn masala was also sweet and spicy.
Why rating is 4 ?
Their Biriyani disappointed me, in mutton biriyani i could find chicken pieces. Make sure they serve you the right dish you order
.
They also have some dessert options, like brownies, waffles and gulab jamuns
.
Ended up with an refreshing lemon mint cooler
Overall it is a better place to hangout, with a beautiful ambience also with good food.
.
Happy dining at North view kitchen :-)
This restaurant serves Indian, Continental and Oriental delicacies on the rooftop at an affordable price.
During my visit here, they had a live screening of the IPL and hence was quite packed. I found the ambience to be picturesque and also loved the view of the metro from there.
Adding to this, they have an open kitchen where they provide the customers with an opportunity to learn, cook and serve their family or friends. This was something that was quite interesting for me.
Coming to the food, I really loved their Malabar Paratha, which was super soft, flaky and filling. It tasted best with Chettinad Prawn gravy. Truely an inseparable combo for me!
I also liked their Chicken Tikka Pizza. Generous chunks of chicken and cheese at a quite reasonable price I would say. The BBQ chicken Pizza on the other hand, was way too sweet due to excess sauces.
Being a Cold Coffee lover, I really did enjoy the drink with a scoop Vanilla Ice-cream. This was much needed after a satisfying meal.
Good service, affordable food and beautiful ambience make this a “must visit place”!
Its Located in North parade road, As it is located on the second floor of the building, partial open seating to enjoy the view and bamboo wood wall heightening. the floor with green grass carpet. Enjoy your view, breeze and the scenario along with your food.
Starters
Paneer Tikka, Hara Bara kebab
Delicate and fine paneer tikka, even hara bara kebab was good.
Creamy Mushroom soup
the soup was creamy but had lacked in the taste.
Mutton sheekh kebab
sheekh was bit dry and normal spice.
Keema ki Tikki
mutton patties served with green chutney was good and chunky enough but, bit masala would have given, as in the middle felt the raw taste of mutton.
Panko fried prawn
crispy prawn
Chef assorted Non veg platter,
tandoori, fish and grilled prawns, kalmi kebabs, tangdi kebab, sheek kebab, malai kebab served with green chutney. The platter was value for money and tasted good too.
Chettinad gravies
eral thokku, mutton chukka
it went well with flaky paratha, and butter naan, mutton shuka was soft enough, eral thokku was similar to homemade.
karuvepillai prawn
fried prawn with flavors of powdered curry leaves.
Pasta
agli olio penne pasta
undercooked pasta so flavors did not take into it.
Green spaghetti
chicken chunky pasta with flavors of pesto
Pizza
BBQ chicken pizza
sweet and sour bbq chicken with a soft crust.
chicken tikka pizza- loaded with chicken tikka pizza
con pollo- capsicum, corn and veggies loaded pizza.
vanilla milkshake was a bit liquidy. tender coconut with watermelon drink.
lemon mint cooler was good
cold coffee was served with ice cream.
strawberry and banana milkshake
Desserts
waffle with ice cream & brownie with ice cream
brownie with ice cream was woow,, the top crust was loaded with walnut.
waffle was bit hard and too chewy.
Ambiance 4.5/5
taste 3.5/5
service 4.5/5
Right behind the golf course this restaurant has the best ambience with only rooftop seating available. And of course u can't expect this to be a pocket friendly one but the food is priced reasonable.
The must tries are the menu from the clayoven.....
Ordered tandoori platter and everything was seasoned well and cooked well.
The milkshakes n drinks could have been for the price.
The gravies and bread were amazing too.
And they also provide wonderful dessert.
Overall this place has good food but it's not the hero... The ambience is. Has a very good view, breezy and perfect for a date😋. In addition to all these good things they have a live kitchen and an projector and screen and they play things that u request. To sum um, not pocket friendly but good food with great ambience and the bucks u spend will be worth the time u have there. This place could easily be the ideal spot if u need a place to shoot, either for a short flim or a photo shoot.
Taste : 3.5/5 ; Ambiance : 4.5/5 ; Service : 4/5 ; VFM : 3.5/5
North View kitchen was in my wish list since the time they opened almost 6 months back for only one reason the ambiance...The Pictures were really good and the view of the Golf course was really good...This particular restaurant is located on the North Parade lane in St.Thomas Mount just couple of places away from the Jyoti Theater...The reasons for naming are said to be the presence of the restaurant over looking the North Parade Lane...The Place has some good exclusive parking and i don't think this will be a issue of any sorts..
Located on the Second floor reached through a set of stairs or lift this restaurant is a roof top restaurant overlooking the magnificent Golf Course in St.Thomas Mount...Though covered up top they have couple of open areas and also adequate open area to cherish the view..One of the open area is garden type setup with fake grass type floor and the other done with Bamboo walls...Both look really good..Overall the ambiance has a peaceful touch to it with seating of around 40 odd ppl with spacious and comfortable seating...If you worry about the heat in this hot summer it is nullified by the wonderful breeze around due to the presence of lots of trees and a open place right in front...
The Service was kind and prompt with servers quite attentive of our needs and also were helpful in suggesting items...Waiting time was quite average IMO..Overall it was good..
Below are the items we tried and my take on them...
Chettinad Kozhi Rasam (rs119) : Though the base flavor was a regular one i felt my soup was a bit on the sweet side which was completely injustice to a kozhi rasam which has to peppery and spicy with a yummy flavor..This wasn't anything like it..Also tried couple of other soups like Cream of Chicken Soup which was quite decent in taste but lacked freshness..
Paneer Tikka (rs199) : A pretty basic paneer tikka taste...Spicy and perfectly marinated though..The paneer too was soft and felt quite fresh..However i felt i was slightly on the raw side atleast the marinade...
Hara Bhara Kebab (rs180) : Kebabs with a base of potatoes and peas but also some good amounts of green veggies like spinach and i quite liked this one..
Mutton Sheek Kebab (rs270) : Nothing Special about it though it was decent in taste it was quite on the Dry side...The Juiciness that needs to be in the sheek was missing...And also the quantity seemed a bit less for pricing...
Kheema Ki Tikki (rs270) : Quite similar to the Sheek with the same positives and negatives just that it was a bit extra dry..
Tandoori Non-Veg Platter (rs699) : A Mix of many items from the tandoori menu of which i found 3 varieties of the tikka, half a tandoori, fish and grilled prawns, kalmi kebabs, tangdi kebab and sheek kebab..Of these i tried couple of items like tikka and tandoori which i quite liked..Here the freshness and juiciness was intact especially the fish tikka..
Mutton Sukka (rs270) : From the Chettinad side we ordered a mutton sukka which was quite good with some succulent pieces of meat well cooked in a spicy tangy chettinad masala..This is a must try here..
Veg Aglio Olio (rs190) : Turned out to be a disappointment of sorts as the penne pasta was quite undercooked which ended up making this pasta quite bland as the flavors couldn't seep in properly..
Green Goddess Chicken (rs230) : This one was however really good with the Spaghetti perfectly cooked along with some good chicken cubes..The Basil pesto sauce was really good in taste and was well mixed and this one is a must try here..
Pizza : We ordered quite a few varieties of pizza of which i had a taste of the Barbeque Chicken Pizza(rs270) and paneer tikka Pizza (rs220)...The Pizzas were approx 10" in size and the taste was quite decent with some generous topping with distinct tastes..For the price this was worth it..
Hyderabadi Murgh Biryani (rs190) : Though named hyderabadi this was more like the lucknowi style of cooking with some cashews and stuff..But that too was not justified as it lacked the oomph factor of the biryani..And also the Dum effect was not there..They claimed it to be dum style cooking...
Gosht Dum Biryani (rs230) : Similar style and similar taste too..nothing spl..I guess they have the plain rice ready and add the meat later on as the flavor from the meat was missing...And this also can be verified with the factor that our mutton biryani had both mutton and chicken pieces in it..Not their strong forte and some thing that can be avoided..
Kheema Dosai (rs150) : Again they scored with their chettinad dish..This well made crispy dosa was filled in with a yummy mutton kheema filling and the masala was just lipsmackingly good..Must try..
Drinks : We ordered quite a few varieties of drinks of which i tried couple of smoothie varieties like Cantaloupe (rs110) which was well made with perfect sweetness and chocolate milk shake (rs99) was also quite good in taste..Lemon Mint Cooler(rs80) was perfect to say the least but Tender coconut melon had an odd taste to it and felt that the tender coconut over powered the melon...
Food here varies from decent to very good..My next visit will be for trying their sandwich and more pizza varities which i heard were really good..But IMO their strong point are the chettinad dishes even though they let down with the soup the rest of the items were top notch...Biryani however is not their strength..and the pricing of some items might be debatable....But where do they really stand out is the Ambiance..A Place thats really close to my home and hence from now it will be an option that would top the list for some evening snacking with the family cherishing the beautiful view around...
So this is a rooftop with great food. This place also has live screening of the IPL. So I had the tender coconut and watermelon juice I loved it, was a new combination. They could add a little ice tho. My favourite starter was the chilly panner, the paneer tikka was great too. The starters were really filling and I had no space for the main course 😅 And for desserts we had carrot halwa and gulab jamun. 😍 I had a good experience overall, the service could be improved a little and a couple more of desserts can be added. 😅
It was a really Good experience at North view. The ambience was great. Their food was also good except the biriyani. Their pizzas had a thin and crispy crust , which was really good to eat. Their tandoori platter was really amazing, karuveppilai eral was really tasty, pasta with pesto really good, the drinks were not to good and no too bad it was just mediocre. So u can try this restaurant for their pizzas, tandoori dishes and some great sides.
Lovely the view, food and service. Very calm place! Perfect for dates or a relaxed or even in the mood for some IPL. very very affordable for the quantity and taste
If you are on a dinner date with your loved one, this is the place to be! The rooftop restaurant has an amazing ambience.
Vegetarian food was good and quantity was decent enough for two people! The tables could have been a little spread out as the space is a little cramped.
Overall, an amazing place to spend your weekends with your loved ones!
We went here for a dinner and ordered Indian cuisine foods like Nan, butter chicken, Malai kofta , fried rice and tandoori chicken. Everything was up to the mark except tandoori chicken which was too dry in . otherwise it's a good place to hangout with friends and family. They even project IPL matches.
The restaurant is located very close to Alandur metro station.
I quite literally did not expect the ambience to be so beautiful, it was really peaceful! The place was decently lit which gave a very calm effect. I just found the menu a bit vague as they didn't focus on any cusine in particular. They sever the famous dishes from Chinese , Indian, Italian. They also serve snacks
I ordered mostly Indian, and it was mind blowing.
Hot and sour was a bit too spicy. even though I enjoy spicy food , it was too spicy for a soup
The chettinadu chicken rasam was apparently the best in the city
Harabara kebab was really yum and melted in the mouth.
The masala kulcha and panner tikka masala was above average.
The cheese kulcha was lips smacking.
The ghost biryani was awesome.
Overall the experience was really good and i am definitely visiting another time to try out their Italian range.
Food is nice and the price also reasonable, waiting for the food to get more time, also they switched off the lights v don't know y they did like tat.
Best to hangout especially at night 😊 best roof top choice to have a gud time with friends
Waffle with ice cream is d best in deserts
Alfredo with cheese pasta didn’t failed to satisfy m
It is a roof top restaurant. It's a great place with good view. It's always cool and windy. Good place to hangout with friends. The food is also amazing. Must visit.
Best place for the ambience, value for money, the view and breeze during evening and great roof top with IPL screening. We tried Veg and it was too good
Place has nice view towards alandur metro and golf courses. Fresh breeze will keep us fresh at all time.
Never expected such good taste, definitely above expectation on the options and taste both on veg and non-veg.
Loved Chinese cuisine, desert, ofcourse starters and side.
I and friend decided for lunch outside. Near to Olympia, this place had a good view of alandur metro and military golf ground. Food what we ordered is good.
We ordered
chicken tikka
Chicken keema masks
Chicken biryani
Romali, garlic naan
And waffle.
Among this, tikka was the best. Biryani tastes good but this not Biryani, some flavoured tasty rice.😜.
Good, need to visit till that, 4 star.
Food with an amazing view.
Paneer tikka,Mouth watering Chocolate with icecream.
The place is a hotspot in the city. The suckers for ambience should head out without a second thought.
Place is right on the bank of the Guindy race course. A visual haven for all the couples in the town.
Best private space one can ask for. If you're a person looking for private dining, then this should be your destination.
Best part being they screen all the live matches here.
We ordered pizza, naan, paneer tikka and a side dish.
Pizza was okayish with the base being unbaked.
Naan and paneer were really good.
Waffles were moderate as they were a bit hard to bite and chew.
Overall a pretty place with decent food.
On the whole 5 points for the ambience and service and 3.5 for the food.
Had been to this place last week for lunch. This place is in a secluded place but needs a special mention of it's ambience. Rooftop, located in second floor offers a stunning view of golf club and metro station too.
Being there for lunch in a sunny noon dint feel the heat though.
Coming to food, had Lacha Paratha with Malai Kofta and Paneer Prshawari.
Starter was good and Malai Kofta was superb.. no cons to mention about food
Damage to pocket- approx 600which s quite in budget for the classy ambience.
Only con is Service can be improved :-)
I would like to break down my experience.
Ambience -
Pros- Great view of an open military ground ,well arranged tables, excellent breeze. All with a big screen entertainment.
Cons-Mosquito Menance, they may need to control even though they are in the second floor and with breezy conditions.
Food and Service
Chicken Pizza, Karuvepellai Prawns, Murg Tikka, Egg Fried Rice,Gajar ka Halwa and Ice Cream all Yummy.
Gobi Manchurian was a bit salty, but that's just a minor issue and one off matter.
Service was top class, the staff was ready to replace or serve another fresh portion when we informed that one of their dishes was salty.
Overall
A Must visit place, this restaurant can accommodate a large group, you may need to book in advance.
Will visit again.
Excellent place to have dinner with family or friends. Great ambience and service is also great. The starters are great here. Prices are bit high, but still a great place for a dinner.
It was an awesome experience to have dinner here. The special thing here is the ambience, the view of metro trains coming in and out of the metro station and the flights from the airport. Food was also very good. Over all it was a very nice place.
Was searching in Zomato for a place to go on Valentine’s Day. Found this one and was impressed by the pictures. The ambience is great. Loved the decors for Valentine’s Day. The food was brilliant. We had murgh tikka as starters and then another curry made of chicken and egg that had a pasta flavour to it with garlic and cheese naan. Ended it with tea and a chocolate milkshake. Memorable dinner indeed and definitely value for money. Will definitely visit again.
P.S I would suggest you book a table in advance and go early if you want a table with a view
Very close to the alandur bus stop...this restaurant welcomed me with a bright ambience..all lit up place and a screen showing all Tamil hits..what more do I need to have a feel at home presence. Also it was kind of a roof top restaurant..the chill atmosphere and warm food made my day..food was absolutely incredible..the mutton biriyani was finger licking good..ordered paneer kadai which was again lip smacking...the price was very average...I suggest u need a try..
This place is damn superb with their ambience and the best place for dinner !
Service was quick
Cmg to food !
We tried the chettinadu soup it was spicy and tasty 😋
The great starters are
Tandoori chicken
In prawn we had 3 varieties
Tawa
Fried
Karuvepillai prawn ♥️♥️
And chicken briyani was okay
And we ended with brownie wit icecream it was yummy !
😊Excited to have a restaurant with such an ambience in this neighborhood.
Location - this is located very next to Jothi theatre, opposite to alandur Metro station. Easily accessible.
Parking - they have huge parking space in front of the restaurant. No worries about parking.
Ambience - this is the talking point of this restaurant. The perfect ambience for dates and casual meets. It's a rooftop restaurant. One corner we can have the view of alandur Metro station and army parade ground. One Corner we can have a open air seat with bamboo stick walls. And another corner we can have open air seat with beautifully painted walls.
On any evening u can feel the cool Breese lurking around.
Service - the service was quick and they were easy to grab the attention.
Food - we tried the creamy chicken soup and chettinadu milagu rasam 🍗🍲🍲😀😀 tasted so good. Creamy soup was less spicy and the other one was spicy.
Tandoori chicken was well cooked and tasted good.
But mutton chukka was a disappointment. Not sure how they missed the taste.. It was so bland.
Their best is the prawn dishes - tawa fried prawns, jalphari jinga, and karuvepillai eral. All three tasted awesome and mouthwatering. Only issue is the quantity
😒 Only 8 prawns for a price of 299. This needs improvement.
Again coming to main courses, their chicken briyani was very normal. And then we ordered roomali roti, butter naan with bengali fish curry. The bengali fish curry had very soft and tasty fish pieces but the curry tasted very sour... Not sure whether that's the usual taste.
Finally after the main course hiccups we had their wonderful desserts. The waffle with maple syrup, waffle with chocolate sause and carrot Halwa. Waffles were so yummy and soft. The carrot Halwa was perfectly mild sweet and enabled us to eat more.
Overall am rating them 4/5 for their wonderful ambience with a slightly high costs. But for romantic people and people who love beautiful places, the price is worth the ambience.
Barbecue veg pizza from @northviewkitchen .
It is located right next to the Guindy golf course and has amazing ambience.
I'd definitely give 10 points for the aesthetics of the place.
Pizza was good. Had a nice cheese pull. Just that the crust and the layer of cheese weren't intact.
It is an extremely thin crust pizza and you'll literally have to fold it like a beeda to eat it.
Was a lot of fun eating it.

The North View has a calming atmosphere , it's fantastic view of the greenery from the top is tranquil. With the winter season and serene breezes makes the food more enjoyable. The Kalmi Kebab and Paneer Tikka Pizza with the breezy view are a treat for being out with family and friends. The northern styled dishes Butter naan , Rumali Roti and Chicken Milagu Curry really brings out the northen out of you , the spicy milagu curry is a must , coming from a spicy lover myself. Definitely would come here again.
A family eatery with an amazing view and ambience . The service is top-notch and the whole dining experience will leave you happy . Their decors are a treat to the eyes and the food is a treat to your mouth . Drool worthy starters are guaranteed . The menu covers almost all your cravings . Our personal favourites were - kalmi kebab , paneer tikka pizza and chicken milagu curry and tandoori gobi . Definitely worth the try and many more visits ❤️
Wanted to go for some new place for lunch , and saw this hotel near our office. It has got a superb ambience. It's on the second floor of the building. You got great views of the parade ground. They have also got a projector setup . We ordered the following
German potato salad - the only thing which we didn't like
Nalli elumbu chaaru - Perfect taste but less quantity
Tandoori chicken - good
Iraichi thovatal - Perfect
Eral chettinad - Perfect, superb flavour of the prawns in the gravy
Mutton biryani - Hyderbadi styled biryani . Pieces were bad but the biryani taste was good
Waffles - A good finishing touch ;)
P.S It takes quite a long time for preparation , so not recommend for someone who is in a hurry. This place is just to sit back , relax and enjoy the ambience and the views while you are having your food.
This place is just ❤️❤️❤️🥰 so damn obsessed with the ambience ♥️♥️ ! The Staffs are very welcoming which makes you super comfortable ! And with the food and pricing everything is nominal and tasty !
Lovely ambience ! Best place for a evening snack and coffee. It’s a open cafe with good food and friendly staff.
Their food is also yum ! Pocket friendly too.
One of the best looking and comfortable restaurants in the City.Situated in one of the most scenic locations in town the food is quite tasty and delicious with wide range of choices.Only thing to be considered is the pricing which will make it easily the best place for a dinner on any weekends.
Northview Kitchen offers a stunning view, making evening dining a must-try. It’s evolved from underrated to well-known, and we’re delighted people have discovered it. The expanded menu includes fantastic steak and chef’s specials. A hidden gem worth exploring!
I went to northview kitchen in the evening, so that i could also sit relax and watch sunset . I really loved the ambience. Tried out their madras pizza and it was loaded with chicken which was really good to eat. Their cheesecake is a must try. A budget friendly place with really vibrant atmosphere. Perfect place to hangout with friends
It had a good atmosphere overlooking a huge golf course sort of thing. The food was delicious but expensive. They had us move tables to accommodate another company lunch or something so that was a nuisance. Otherwise a good place for hangouts and dates with pretty views.
Casual dining with a fine view 🔥Pizza was fantabulous! This place is known for its ambiance 😍 Do try their signature strawberry cheese cake it was completely on point. Furthermore, every other dishes honestly tasted too delicious 🤤 Pricing is moderate! And a great place to spend time with your family💥Rooftop view was stupendous watching the direct view of ✈️!!!
This is a breezy rooftop cafe with many items on the menu. The quality and quantity of the food is good and the taste was quite good too. I was surprised with the desserts and loved them the most. My recommended dishes from what I ordered would be:
Soups - cream soup(any), chestnut bisque
Starter - mushroom and baby corn manchurian
Mains - Lachha Paratha, kulcha, Kadai panner, pesto pasta ( which was soo creamy)
Desserts - Hot chocolate, chocolate loaf and strawberry cheesecake (it's a huge slice!)

This is rooftop restaurant ..I have one disappointment in this place the restaurant does not have ac why because I go there at 1 o'clock The sun is very hot At that time this restaurant was very hot and not comfortable in the afternoon
Awesome experience and tasty food.
Pocket friendly for a group of 5 people and above.
Price for two - 1000
Quantity of the food will be more, so better to plan to take a gang.
Best during the night times since the view and aeration are wonderful!!
The northview kitchen is the breezy cute roof top cafe in Ramapuram , chennai . I loved the view from the place you can constantly see the metro trains and flights passing by . They provide different varieties of foods in staters , main course and deserts . We triedsweet corn bruschetta , chicken steak ,red velvet smoothie, butterstotch smoothie, non veg platter ( it was ❤️🤌🏻). And in desert we tried brownie with ice cream . Fruits we inside the icecream it tastes wow😍.
Very nice atmosphere with good food.
Little expensive but worth for the view and the food.
Peri peri drumsticks is average rest of the foods we ordered was so good.
Must try prawn tawa fry and malai tikka.
Peaceful place with a beautiful top view in that area... Nice spot for couples and friends to enjoy their evening and night.. Good atmosphere and nice hospitality. Taste of the food is good. Canberry juice is my recommendations. Price is quite high but for that atmosphere it's value for money. Try to get the seat near the window to have a great view.I don't like the oyester taste.. Could have improved it. Remaining food items are good
Try it if u are nearby that place
This place was so wonderful that will make us visit again and again. Wonderful ambience. calm and spacious seating arrangements.
