Went here with family and had a nice time. The view from top of the hotel is very good at night and the staffs are very generous. They offered to serve and were always welcoming with a smiling face to take orders. The food quantity of mushroom starters were very low and the portion size needs to be improved. Quesadilla and arabic platters were very good and tasty. I loved the dessert section where i tried the chocolate dome and apple rasamali. Overall a good place to hangout with family but needs a step up on the varities on the menu.

update: Birthday cake was COMPLIMENTARY, I did not pay for it. I am so happy that I picked this to take my family to, we just wanted to experience the roof top experience. Very laid back, chill atmosphere, seems it is open even on day time, the food wud taste better in-between dips in pool but I guess it is only open for the hotels guest. We went there to enjoy the birthday, Live music on the venue only made it better. And oh yeah we ordered cake and requested the band to sing Happy Birthday 😅 they happily obliged, ---we paid for the cake (~500 w/ taxes), thought I should mention it since most hotels serve b'day cake as complimentary, I didn't mind paying, I always wanted to pay, pastry chef should not be taken for granted--- We ordered mocktails, and Italian food, it was good, priced on par with any other 5 star hotel. Bruschetta and Ravioli was phenomenal, especially Ravioli this was the best I tasted, it was fresh not frozen don't remember tasting such even in Italy, the stuffing was smoked spinach and it was prepared to perfection, garnished with black & green olives, cherry tomatoes and fenugreek leaves (host misquoted it as sprouts and I'm pretty sure sprouts do not have that sublet minty spicy bite to it...) Bread of bruschetta was soft, lightly toasted and loaded with cream cheese & tomato with sprinkle of oregano. I have to mention server did not bother to explain the dish... Maybe they thought we'll not understand, given we were not dressed to occasion, we went on an impulse, enjoyed it anyway. I ordered fries for my kids, they didn't like it much. My son ordered butter naan and paneer butter masala, he was least bothered if it was on menu 😌 and Panner butter masala was priced 850, and it is not worth it. I do understand, it is priced in such manner as a gateway mechanism but one wud expect better service. I'd have taken out a point in rating if not for the view and vibe, from a single spot can relish on night sky of Guindy, Mambalam, Velachery and so on, I can only imagine how it will be on Deepavali. We got to experience golden moon rise

Possibly the best romantic spot to have a peaceful, quiet and absolutely delightful dinner. This lounge bar and restaurant is on the top floor of The Ramada Plaza Hotel, Guindy and its an absolute gem which most people are sleeping on! First off I gotta talk about how amazing the ambience is! There is a poolside view and lounge overlooking the city for a good time with friends. Bringing a girl/boy? There are separate Cabanas for your discretion and a romantic dinner! Next up, where do I start with the food! It was just about perfect! From the spice levels, to the freshness of the ingredients the cooking level. The Crispy Prawn Pappiot and the Pulled Chicken Wings were to die for! The Chicken Biriyani deserves a special mention! It was soo balanced! And the icing on the cake was that if you are a Zomato Pro Member, you get a flat 20% off on your bill! Will definitely visit this place again!

1. Nice place with a view. Very spacious 2. Food is very expensive, I would say, and not worth the qty. Especially starters, a single lamb kebab was about INR 2,500 3. Choices were on the menu, but some were not available at the counter 4. Good place to chill out for sometime and minimum drinks

We were in this restaurant for dinner. The view is amazing, there's a good atmosphere here. The service was fast and professional. Also we tried three main courses, absolutely satisfying. On the other hand, we have expected a lower bill. I would recommend this restaurant for a special dinner or a cocktail.

Great business dinner. Pomfret grilled fish & Grilled Salmon with sauteed vegetables + mashed potato+ garlic/butter flavoured rice were served fresh and tasty to the expected level and in time. Completrly satisfied with the food taste snd quality and quantity. The roof top ambience (with swimming pool by the side and the open skies) was great.👏👍

Had a wonderful experience at Ramada rooftop lounge in last weekend. The view from the rooftop lounge is one mesmerizing view of Chennai. Food and service were amazing. Special mention to Manager Harish who was very kind to check and provide to our needs. Would definitely recommend to my friends and family. Ambience - 10 Food - 9 Service - 9
