It was one amazing day this evening at Trippin Town. This is a restobar which is very close to Savera Hotel. You may check on Google Map for the exact location (it is on PS Sivasamy Road, Sullivan Garden). Few things first: This is a restobar and hence the minimum age of entry is 21. Dress code for men is full pant/trousers with shirt/tee and shoes. No 3/4th or track pants or shorts/Bermuda is allowed. They have parkling facility for 2/4 wheeler. The interiors are splendid with perfect lighting and good wall decor. I liked the way they were done. There are enough seating capacity that you can go with a big gang as well. Just book it in advance to avoid any inconvenience. The bar is at the centre where you get to taste cocktail/mocktail. They also have a DJ to play songs according to your mood/preference. Temperature check is done in the entrance and hand sanitizer is kept. Mask is compulsory while entering this place. Coming to the food. These were the dishes we ordered. It was an extensive menu which includes: Soup: Hot and sour veg Mutton rib soup Salad: Watermelon and feta salad Starters: Veg Pesto panner tikka Malai broccoli Andhra baby potato Kadai panner Chilli panner Non-veg Tuppa kori roast Nandu podimas Tandoori prawn Drunken chicken Lasooni murgh tikka Main course: Prawn biriyani Veg pasta (Penne pink sauce) Of course we had mocktails too including the jigarthanda one. Then there were desserts. As we had eaten the max out little tummy could hold, we did not go for those. Coming to the food: Each and every dish were served real hot. They tasted fresh. Chicken and Paneer were really soft. Masala was mixed at the right proportion. I also liked Andhra baby potatoes & Nandu Podimas. The starters were absolute stunner. I cannot score one over the other in this segment since each one tasted real good. Mocktails were too good. Ask for their special ones. Soup is out of the world. They gave the tinge of the salt & spice evoking our hunger and hence we went all out with all the starters without giving a second thought. We had both veg and non-veg instead of just one segment. Hence we could not go for starters. Excellent service provided by Mr Raja, Manager & Waiter Shaheed & Balaji. Overall Recommendation - DO NOT MISS IT!

While entering our temperature was monitored and hand sanitizer was given as well. The whole place was completely fresh and the ambience was just par beyond excellence. Visited Trippin Town a couple of days ago. Meeting a bunch of friends and one of them picked the place. Nice location with good outdoor seating (perfect for the current times!) and interesting food for a pub :) Tried their Jigardhanda (don't judge!). Tasted really nice, and reminded me of the North Indian Thandai. Started with the Hot and Sour soup. I wasn't a big fan of it, but my friends seemed to like it. Had Pesto Paneer Tikka and the Malai Broccoli for starters. Their pesto sauce is to die for, and the paneer was super soft. The broccoli starter was really good too! Shaheed, who served us suggested we try the Arancini (had never heard of such a dish before). It's a different take on cheese balls and was definitely worth the reco. Now for the main course: The Pasta Arrabiata (I think they call it the Simmered Tomato Pasta) was really awesome! We didn't expect to be surprised by a pasta of all dishes, will definitely be my constant order at TrippinTown. I was a tad bit disappointed by the Thai Green Curry. It was too sweet for my taste. The Trippin Style Veg Biryani was really good though, and I rounded off my dinner with some icecream. Overall, a nice experience and Shaheed was super helpful.

Good place to chill out at night. Good food, nice ambience, good service. Have a variety of drinks to choose. Live music was also there when we visited on Feb 2021. Walkable distance from Hotel Savera.

New bar in Chennai with variety of dishes. It is very much crowded and happening party in the city. The services are very good. They need to focus of presentation. The ambience is very good, different and eye catchy. It gives you a lot energy booster. Overall experience is good but not extraordinary.
