Don't miss if you love non-veg food! Their normal meals and special meals are really good and worth the money. Though the quantity of meat is bit less, the variety is excellent. Service was very good and prompt. Place gets crowded during rush hours and holidays. The ambience was unique - it had a touch of the vintage era. Plenty of parking space for both cars and bikes. Must visit for any foodie!

The best taste in all-over Chennai . Best in price , taste is authentic south tanilnadu style . Ambience is good, valet car parking . goli soda is best eye catcher . Large space with maybe capacity of 100 -120 people can sit at a time .

Good food and taste. They have a variety of options and the restaurant looks an authentic place. The place gets crowded around 8:30 pm and it's located in the location which is very easy to access. But they take little time, maybe because of less employee in the cooking department or not able to handle. Yeah, that's the only fault but taste is good. Will try there again for sure.

A great eat out place for all time!! Ambience is the first thing which will welcome you before food. It's typical South Indian ambience in late 80s sort of.. The menu is just a two pager and each one stand out on it's own taste & speciality. There was a brief waiting time to get the table but to our surprise the food was served hot withing minutes of order. Authentic south Indian desserts are added advantage!! Just go for it!!

It's difficult to find a restaurant that serves authentic Chettinad style non-vegetarian with ample parking space, good ambience, neatly maintained floor space and good service. This restaurant is one such rare find. Don't miss to check out the bazaar which sells nostalgic village play items like Tanjore dolls, etc

It's a good restaurant with 90s style menu with more focus on non veg dishes. Service could have been better need to remind the waiter 2 to 3 times. Reduced 1 star for the same

Antique/classical 70's theme. Good ambience. Perfect south indian taste dishes. I think this is the best price for N-Veg/Veg meals, 65/60 rupees. Food rate are at best. Quantity is low but with best quality. Compared with Thalapakatti, TV is 1000 times better place. Service was very quick. Their method of serving is different. All the dishes are available like buffet kind of setup and the server will bring it from there. So most of the dishes wil be servevd within few minutes. Biryani is cooked in seeraka samba rice. Parotta is best here. Tried panner goli soda, it was refreshing. One of the few hotels in Chennai which is best in both taste and cost.

Had the best Meen Sapadu for lunch today at @thambivilas. The food I was craving for so long - typical South Indian ilai virunthu. The meal was worth the price. The Nethili Fry is out of the world. Unlimited meals. The Curries were perfect. Finally GOLI Soda to end the deliciousness with a mark. Must try restaurant in Chennai if you love non-veg meals! Highly recommended!

This is a must visit place!! The food is traditional and to die for! We had porotta and mutton keema and chicken chukka.. asked for some idlis to top it all off.. absolutely delicious!! About 500 bucks for a sumptuous meal for two.
