Worth for money. Don't have chicken mutton only sea food items. Quantity and quality are worth enough. Must try prawn fry and kanavaa fry.

After a visit to Pichavaram on a hot Sunday at the end of February, we were looking for a place to have a lunch before driving back to Pondicherry. It was late for lunch - past 3. Arupadai came up on maps as we were driving out of the area before reaching the highway. It's a simple place with homestyle food, cooked in an open kitchen in the back. The vegetarian and fish thali were both very good. The fish fry was fresh and tasty. Service was friendly. If you like off-the-beaten track, homestyle local food, you will like this. The taste shows in the spices and vegetables and the fish is locally sourced.
