Highly recommended place for Masala Dosa, Butter Masala if you are in Chickmaglur. Too crowded over the weekends due to tourists but people wait and have. Very famous for its taste and its running since 30+years. Please do visit
Overall a good place for breakfast!
The food was a absolutely tasty and total worth for money. We visited the place at around 10 am and they were sort of still cleaning which was strange for as a tourist from Mumbai
They also had a couple of boards that stated SORRY NO URGENT SERVICE & DON’T WASH
Delighted with my visit! The butter masala dosa was a standout – crisp, generously filled with flavorful potato. The jamun was a pleasant surprise, not overly sweet. The coffee complemented the meal perfectly. A great place for dosa enthusiasts!
Best place for breakfast, must try butter Dosa and Gulab Jamoon, along with Idly and Vada.
Iddly was superb. Soft as silk. Dose was top class. Good coffee too. Gulab jamun was mouth watering.

Town Canteen has a special place in my heart, thanks to their mouthwatering masala dosa! It's undeniably one of my favorite spots when I crave this South Indian delight. I wholeheartedly give it a well-deserved 5-star rating.
Food quality and service are good here. Easy to notice because it is in the main area and prices are also reasonable here. Ambience is well and maintenance is clean here. Online payments are also accepted here.

My favourite are Gulab Jamun and Benne(Butter) Masala Dosa.
Idli Vada Sambar was also good.
Kesaribath was also good.
Food is decent enough not something out of the world although filter coffee is really good you can try set dosa and masala dosa without any second thoughts 💭 and you can try their hot gulab jamun!
Must visit place for Dosa lover. specially Benne Masala Dosa.

I went for breakfast and it's so cheap. I mean it's seriously cheap. I had a Butter Masala Dosa and a coffee. Total cost? ₹82 only. Yeah. And the dosa was so yummy. I had one in Mysore and compared to that it's 9/
