They have a service area next door that is totally worth trying. We stopped by one morning for breakfast. They had good music playing. Food took a while to come, as they were just opening up for the day and still setting things. But it was totally worth the wait. They also have good decor. Many seats come with separate charging point access too!
Awesome place. Unique experience. Food may be 7 out of 10, but the ambience totally compensates for it. Definitely a must go if reaching Chikmagalur for lunch. Restroom available. It is right in the heart of the city. Totally recommend this place. I am going there every time I visit, from now on
Located on MG road downtown chikmagalur. Easily accessible from traffic. Parking is on your own. Self service is named Mysore foodz and serviceable restaurant as little corridor. Little corridor has got a vintage feel to it. Everything here is well thought and nicely placed. They offer North and South Indian along with few Chinese dishes. The restaurant is vegetarian. Food tastes good here. Chef will modify upon your request. Service is quick. Good place for selfie lovers. They accept cards and wallet payments.
I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Chikkamagaluru. The ambience is excellent. This place is made out of a renovated old traditional Karnataka house. One will feel like he/she is sitting in a culture rich south Indian home with soft Carnatic music running in the background.
Every corner of this place is decorated with old antiques from the byegone era of our grandma/grandpa. Me and my friends really loved this place.
Well all the above praise matters only when the food is good. YES, the food items we ordered during bfast, dinner (Kaju masala, Baby corn starter, Gobi Manchurian, Paneer starter, Palak paneer dosa, Butter roti, Coffee, Banana Bajji) are hygienic and very tasty. The waiters here are very cordial and good customer service and satisfaction.

Nice antique themed restaurant created by modifying an old house in a busy main street Chikmagalur. Interior is mostly dark wood furniture with some artistic spoons hung framed and hung on walls. Food tasted good, we tried North Indian curry, roti and Paratha. Coffee was great, felt like filter coffee. Idli and Masala dosa were good too. I liked the chutney in particular.
Ambience is very good.. with lot of vintage and decorative things.. ordered South Indian rice which is sufficient for one people.. price is cheaper.. you can definitely try the carrot halwa which is exactly like home made.. only a group of people manage this.. well maintained and clean.
It is one of the best hotels I have ever seen in Chikmagalur. Even though it is situated in the busiest part of the city it gives a feeling of complete desi cultured home. Actually it is a house renovated as a hotel. Even the food is amazingly yummy..! It's specialty is dosa...it serves lot many types of dosa. It has both self service and service hall. The cost is also affordable :)
Ambience is very good. It is a vivid place where there is a darshini for quick eating (self service), a place to sit inside where you can relax and have food which is served nicely and two small party halls or you can call a meeting hall. The meeting hall is actually USP of the place. Looks like a traditional themed place where they have utilized ethnic,traditional items. Looking at the quality of food and service it is really gonna capture the market in Chikkamagaluru. It is a startup rather than a hotel and it feels like a promising one.
Amazing food and hidden nicely so not easy to spot. We ordered South Indian, North Indian and chinese. Each has the perfect taste for the dish. I was surprised to see such a nice place ti eat in Chikmagalur. Most go and would rate this as among the top places to Chikmagalur.

Covered in Red Laterite brick blocks on the ever famous M.G road you will figure this place out from a distance because of its unique characteristics and feel at home aesthetics.
The name Mysore Foodz have a interesting history behind it that's for another day.. P.S ask owners and managers and eat their head also eat the amazing food they serve there.
If you're from Chickmaglur then by now even had the menu by heart. Because it's the not one the coolest place to handout but the best place to hangout in Chickmaglur city are for sure. Mind you it's parallel to I.G road and it's a one way street. So a walk would save time otherwise parking might be a issue but the streets are wide so two wheelers would be good.
You will not find many hotels or Restaurants in M.G road so better don't skip this otherwise it's a long walk to food.
If you're not from Chickmaglur then you should visit this amazing homemade style Café for sure.
Their decor is unmatched with small and intriguing features of classic phonograph records to unique Raja Ravi Verma paintings. Expert tip take a guided tour.
They also have a party hall for kitty and birthday parties and trust me it the jewel of the place.
It's so refreshing and gives a chill vibes within the campus. Also check out the quirky art and installations within and the must are toilet sign boards and the washbasin area. The decor and interior is chick and fun.

Don't worry the taste is like North Indian for North Indian food and pakka South Indian taste for South Indian food. Even the menu cards are so quirky and nice to see that you instantly fall in love with it..

They also have a darshini which means a standing restaurant which serves the same food in a faster pace. They also sell coffee.
Simply visit and try and relax and feel the chilling vibes of this amazing place.

Great ambience. Sambar, meal mostly good. Roti a bit raw. Service slow, too few staff, difficult to get water.
This restaurant with a homely decor serves the most uncomplicated but flavoursome meals. Language barrier could be an issue at times. Nonetheless the food compensates for it.
